Ordered cookies for a BaByQ theme shower and was impressed with the variety of designs she offered. Cookies were adorable and tasted great too! Cathy was very easy to work with. I can't wait to try more of her treats again soon!

Cathy Zappone with Shabby Sugar does OUTSTANDING work! Besides her cookies, cupcakes, truffles and more...she also puts together amazing charcuterie running tables. For some reason I can't add a picture to this review, so please check out the picture I added to Shabby Sugar's photos of the Charcuterie Running Table! I attended a ribbon-cutting and Shabby Sugar did the catering. OMG! When you want the BEST, hire Shabby Sugar!

Cathy had many options for us to choose from for dinner; we went with a Hawaiian theme and the food was delicious.

The BEST tea party ever!!! The room has a beautiful, elegant decor and pink theme. I was awestruck…read moreupon entering the room. It was a birthday tea party for me, Grandma. Everywhere I looked was so pretty, I couldn't decide where to sit at our reserved table for a party of 5. We dressed up for the occasion. My daughter ordered beautiful hats for us ladies. My grandson wore a fedora and his sister had a pink bow band in her hair which matched the lovely mauve pink velvet on the chairs. The service? Wow! Friendly, elegant, helpful at suggestions. A 10 out of 5. Layla and Billy were our star butlers for the afternoon. Layla suggested a peppermint tea for the children, for example. (Ages 10 and 11) And now about the tea. Each chose their special drink from about 50 types of tea, including herbal and chai. Served in antique looking ceramic tea pots, each a different one! My choice was Strawberry Shortcake tea, a gentile berry taste. There were pink heart shape sugar cubes in tiny bowls with tiny gold ones to serve one lump or too. Honey and sweetener are available too. Everyone had their table set with individual china cups and matching saucer, plus treats plate. Gold serviceware wrapped in pink napkins. Flowers on the wall and at the tables. This is the best party I've ever had! Now about the food. Excellent. Elegantly presented on three-tiered china plate serving trays. Delicious tea sandwiches - cut in dainty triangles - and my favorite - cucumber sandwich! Don't forget about the delectable traditional tea sweets, pretty and perfectly prepared. Miniature cookies, scones, plus bites of cheesecake, blueberry crumble, brownie, and more. There is pink cream cheese , preserves, and "clotted' cream too. Party all inclusive packages are about $45 per person - BUT- there are individual items too, reasonably priced for an afternoon with a friend. I've been to other tea houses but this takes the birthday cake! A dream come true. Thank you!

It's a very intimate cute little bakery shop and usually they are pretty busy. However, this time round I came in the middle of the day on a Wednesday so it was pretty slow. I want to say it is family owned, but I'm not quite sure about that. I got their carrot cake, blueberry lemon cake, a fruit tart, and a cream puff. Carrot cake - 5/5 it's perfectly sweetened with the balanced of the cream cheese. My boyfriend usually orders this. Blueberry lemon cake - 5/5 I haven't tried it yet, but I did have a little taste test of the frosting, and I like the sweet tartness from that. Fruit tart - 3.5/5 The actual crust of the fruit tart is a bit overly sweetened for my taste. Almost as sweet as a typical cookie. The cream was standard and the fruit is seasonal so that can change the quality. Cream puff - 4/5 It wasn't anything special for me, but it did satisfy my sweet tooth. The cream inside is standard whipped cream, and the outside is a bit dry and crusty instead of soft.

We ordered a custom cake for my goddaughter's birthday, and while the cake itself was delicious, the service and execution were disappointing. Brooke was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. Unfortunately, the other employee we dealt with was rude, kept interrupting us, and did not seem interested in actually listening to the detailed instructions we gave for the cake. When the final product came out, it was a completely different color than what we had asked for. Brooke did apologize and even mentioned she could help with reimbursement, which I appreciated. The other staff member, on the other hand, did not apologize at all and acted as though the mistake was somehow our fault. I was also told I would receive a callback about the issue, but that never happened. If you want a quick pastry or dessert, this place is probably a solid choice because the products do taste good. But if you need a custom cake for an important event, I would not trust them with it again.
