We had five sandwiches, two scones, fruit, dessert, and all the tea we could drink. The service was outstanding. They let us stay over the 90 minute reservation to continue celebrating. Everywhere I looked was so pretty, I couldn't decide where to sit at our reserved table for a party of 5. We dressed up for the occasion. My daughter ordered beautiful hats for us ladies. My grandson wore a fedora and his sister had a pink bow band in her hair which matched the lovely mauve pink velvet on the chairs. The service? Wow! Friendly, elegant, helpful at suggestions. A 10 out of 5. Layla and Billy were our star butlers for the afternoon. Layla suggested a peppermint tea for the children, for example. (Ages 10 and 11) And now about the tea. Each chose their special drink from about 50 types of tea, including herbal and chai. Served in antique looking ceramic tea pots, each a different one! My choice was Strawberry Shortcake tea, a gentile berry taste. There were pink heart shape sugar cubes in tiny bowls with tiny gold ones to serve one lump or too. Honey and sweetener are available too. Everyone had their table set with individual china cups and matching saucer, plus treats plate. Gold serviceware wrapped in pink napkins. Flowers on the wall and at the tables. This is the best party I've ever had! Now about the food. Excellent. Elegantly presented on three-tiered china plate serving trays. Delicious tea sandwiches - cut in dainty triangles - and my favorite - cucumber sandwich! Don't forget about the delectable traditional tea sweets, pretty and perfectly prepared. Miniature cookies, scones, plus bites of cheesecake, blueberry crumble, brownie, and more. There is pink cream cheese , preserves, and "clotted' cream too. My daughter found this place on social media and immediately wanted to book a day to go. We went on a Saturday morning and there was only a few people inside. It did start to fill up as time went on, It is adorable. I absolutely love the decor and the theme. Customer service was extremely friendly we were seated and went over the menu and decided what tea we wanted they brought us our own tea kettle and gave us creamer with it, sugar cubes are little pink hearts adorable. The scones were moist and paired well with the strawberry preserves. The desserts were cute but not as good as everything else. They have a nice selection of organic premium teas to choose from. I went with the Saigon, a jasmine green tea with pandan. I really liked this unique flavor. They also have pink cane sugar cubes that they make in-house and a variety of milk options. Came here with my mom and sister for a late Mother's Day treat. We ordered the set and I had to switch out some of the cold cut sandwiches since I'm pregnant. The sandwiches were all really tasty. I liked the cucumber and dill one the most, then the chicken salad one. The scones were also really good with the cream, and the desserts were very tasty as well. It was our first time doing the full tea service here. I've been a huge fan of their cakes previously and wanted to come here for Mother's Day tea with my mom and my 4 year old. The decor is absolutely beautiful. It feels very special, unique and fancy. My daughter was so happy to be at a "real" tea party! We had the ginger peach, vanilla caramel, and strawberry shortcake. The vanilla caramel was THE BEST! All of the sandwiches were really good but the bread of the roast beef really made it shine. All of the petite desserts were delicious as well. There was plenty of food for the three of us to share, I paid for the split charge for my daughter since I figured she wouldn't eat all those sandwiches to herself. There was a little hiccup with our reservation. I booked it for 3 and added in the comments that my daughter would be sharing and we would pay the split fee. The week before I received a notification that our reservation had been changed to 2. I called the restaurant and spoke with someone who assured me that our reservation was still for 3, but that they changed it to 2 so they wouldn't make the food tower for 3. Well upon arrival to our reservation the girls at the front said our reservation was only for 2 and that they had only a table set for 2. They went and spoke with someone in the back and then said they would add a small chair to the 2 top. I pushed back and said that I didn't want to cram the three tea pots and settings into a tiny table and they eventually moved some things around to give us a table for 3. The other thing is that once everything was dropped off the server disappeared! We didn't see her again until I went to the front to ask for my check. We were completely out of tea water for a while and then I saw a young man refilling another table and I was able to ask him to refill ours. The table next to us grabbed him as well. I also would have loved to ask someone for a regular glass of water but no one was around. I will say when our server dropped off our tower she did offer to take a picture of us which was very thoughtful. Been seeing so many posts about Sip & Sugar, so I finally stopped as it's in a plaza (hard to find) in Anaheim Hills location -- and I'm so glad I did! The decor are absolutely adorable, and the service was so warm and welcoming. You can really feel the intention (girlfriend hangout with class vibes) behind the space -- it's such a cute, girly spot to hangout and enjoy tea with your girlfriends. My only little complaint is that the place is on the smaller side. Our table was right by the entrance, so there were moments when people bumped into us coming in and out, or manuring to their table, which took away a bit from that calm, relaxed tea vibe we were hoping for. :(( The sandwiches and tea tower is as expected...and the centerpiece of the afternoon tea experience!! It is decorated in lots of pink, they even have pink sugar cubes and pink heart shaped sugar "cubes." They have lots of floral decor and it's very pretty and kept neat. Wow I have found my new favorite afternoon tea spot!!!! I want to give props to the owner/staff for being so kind and patient with us. We were a group of loud giggly girls and were probably a nuisance to have but they were so sweet. I think it's ok for a casual place, but definitely should get some interior design help to get it more up to date. Service was top notch, our server was very attentive and someone was always coming by to refill our tea pots. My friend and I got the tea service for $40 per person, which includes a pot of tea, 4 tea sandwiches, 2 scones, and dessert. The table has honey and the cutest heart shaped sugars to put in your tea. While I enjoyed the sandwiches and scones, the desserts were just ok, and the tea was average. On the way to the restroom, I saw the tea settings, and tea making area on the shelves. They have boxes of teabags that you can buy from the market, as well as some loose leaf teas, so depending on what tea you get, you could be drinking the same tea you can buy from your local Vons (ie Stash) They have a dessert case with a variety of cupcakes and macarons, as well as various breakfast pastries that I just had to try: Guava Cheese pop tart, cinnamon roll, almond croissant, and chocolate croissant. They were all amazing, I especially liked the chocolate croissant, it was chock full of chocolate, very different than the ones I get from the French bakeries with a sliver of chocolate in the middle. Sip & Sugar has easily became one of my top 3 tea spots. From seamless reservation to outstanding food and service. When making a reservation for larger parties, you must call in and I recommend calling in during business days around 10 am - 3 pm. No deposit required which is a plus but you do need to put your cc info just incase of a no-show. For large parties, they allowed Saturday at 10 am or 3 pm. I don't know how quick the reservations go, but they only allow you to book 1 mo in advance so do time wisely. If you're a small group, they do allow walk-ins. The pictures are exactly the same as how it is in person. So aesthetically pleasing, calm down, girl vibes. At $40 pp for one tea selection, 5 tea sandwiches, 2 scones and 3 desserts, it was a steal. It quickly filled me up and I loved each bite. My favorite was the roast beef crossaint and chicken wrap. I loved the scone with the cream and jam. As for the dessert, I surprisingly enjoyed the apple pie mini tart. Everything else was good too and filling! I ordered the Jasmine Rose tea which was great. I did get to try different teas from other friends but wow the hot chocolate was so creamy and delicious. I would recommend. Service was friendly and too notch. The staff made sure we had tea refills and were very attentive to our needs. We were the last group to leave and they were ok with us taking pictures and didn't make us feel rushed.
