Spaghetti w capers on side
Amisha S.

Very very cute cafe inside tiffany store in the back. Very limited seating so definitely need reservations. We sat at the bar which was fun and great. A big shout to the bartenders. They were very energetic enthusiastic and well done on making our cocktails. The service was excellent!. The food for me was okay. The tea sampler was very tiny servings for the money I didnt think it was worth it. The spaghetti was good I am a vegetarian so it was nice of them to put the capers separately. The vegetarian pasta was okay they were my least favorite. The drinks were excellent very refreshing and the love they put in the drinks was amazing! Overall a cute place but the food is not worth what I paid for.

Ok I'm giving a three star because aesthetics and the service was great. However, this is a place to come to try and witness the Tiffany at breakfast vibe. I felt that you do not get enough food here and the food portions are very small. I will say if you're really hungry you're gonna have to order three entrées off the menu. Do not come here if you want to share your food items. Also, the prices are decent but for the serving I feel that is not worth it. Very good food, but is good to come here if you want to have a snack while you're shopping in the south Coast Plaza mall. I ordered the blue Cosmo, which is the signature drink, and the Vieux Carre, which was very good !! Great bartender for sure. My entree I tried the chicken breast with pureee mashed potatoes and a side of French fries for appetizer. Good food, just small portions!! I was still very hungry. Furthermore, our service was phenomenal we had Garret and he knew his job !!! He had a great personality and knows that menu extremely well!! I will def recommend him!! As for the decor it was gorgousssss!!! I Adored the Tiffany boxes in the ceiling and the Tiffany blue in the restrooms marble and aesthetics of the restaurant. Very good vibe for brunch and girls day out!! Nice bar area and fast service!! It's located inside Tiffany & Co. all the way in the back. You check in the front and they will direct you to restaurant. I will come back here for the drinks and a salad while I'm shopping !! -Marshay D.

Wow! This place is amazing. It's located inside the Tiffany's store in the back. It's small; the restaurant is so cute trendy and has beautiful blue colors I ordered several different things off the menu. I tried their famous pasta and appetizers and the blue drink which was everything. All items were made fresh and were delicious. Service was outstanding. I will definitely go back just to hang out at the bar, have some drinks, and eat some good food. Note: portions are not big. They're very small so if you're hungry, you may need to buy more appetizers. The plates are very small They need more on the menu. The burger was very seasoned and tasty. Their fries are good too. This can fill you up more. But other than that it's a great place beautiful inside. I love it. I felt like I was in Italy somewhere eating at Tiffany's breakfast.

Afternoon Tea at Tiffany's

Having breakfast at Tiffany's used to be a New York bucket list item for me until Tiffany & Co. opened up a Blue Box Cafe in their South Coast Plaza location. The menu was curated by Chef Daniel Boulud, most known for his Michelin starred restaurant Daniel in NYC. To say that reservations are "available" on Resy is a bit of a stretch. Yes, Resy is the platform Blue Box uses to manage reservations, but times are seemingly unavailable until the day of or the day before. Walk-ins are also subject to availability. We tried to call to call the cafe to ask for clarification on reservation times and walk-in availability, but no one ever picked up. Planning our visit was honestly quite a pain. We ended up just booking a reservation the same day instead of waiting until the weekend like we wanted to in case reservations wouldn't be available. Upon arrival at Tiffany's, staff greeted us and led us through the jewelry store to the back where Blue Box cafe was located. We checked in with the host and were led to our table. The inside of the cafe is, of course, speckled with Tiffany blue. The atmosphere felt posh and elegant, yet light and open. Although "breakfast" at Tiffany's is the namesake of the cafe, we opted for their afternoon tea service instead. I had the earl grey while my friend had the white wedding. I quite enjoyed the white wedding tea as it was light and had notes of camellia. In addition to tea, the service includes complementary bread, scones, and a three-tiered tea tray with the works. The bread was fantastic. Mini baguettes served with Tiffany butter. The butter, stamped with the Tiffany T, was rich and perfectly salted. The scones were amazing as well. Warm, perfectly soft. Served with double cream, strawberry jam, and orange marmalade. I really liked the scones with the cream and strawberry jam. I wasn't a huge fan of the orange marmalade as it was a bit bitter. The sandwiches and savories were for the most part, alright. I really liked the chicken curry & mango chutney. Instead of bread, it was served in a little pani puri half shell. I loved the crispy base, and it contrasted greatly with the rest of the sandwiches as I found a few of them suffering from a case of soggy bread. The desserts were hit or miss. I really enjoyed the vanilla passionfruit choux. The flavors were very balanced and the tartness of the passionfruit really popped out. The blackberry cheesecake was also very good. The desserts using white chocolate, however, were very waxy. They were definitely pretty, encased in a chocolate shell colored the iconic Tiffany blue, but they just were not palatable at all. It seemed like for some desserts, priority was given to visual appeal rather than taste. Although our experience at Blue Box Cafe was not perfect, we still had a lovely afternoon tea. I'm glad I got to check this experience off my bucket list and live my Audrey Hepburn fantasy.

My experience was great! Located inside the South Coast Plaza Mall inside of Tiffany's. Service was great and the food was exceptional. The flavors just all blended together. Drinks and dessert were great and not watered down. This is a new location on the West Coast, that you don't have to travel to the East Coast to experience. Highly recommended!

This is a one and done type of place. You go for the novelty and atmosphere, but won't return for the food. We were able to get seats in the evening after walking in during the morning. The restaurant itself is very pretty, definitely a photo op moment, but the food left much to be desired. We ordered the afternoon tea set, the caviar spaghetti, gazpacho, and the branzino. First of all, everything in the tea set is tiny and the taste was mediocre. Nothing really stood out, though the scone was quite nice. For just $20 more, I'd rather go get the afternoon tea set at Knife Pleat, which tastes spectacular and has larger portions. The complimentary bread basket was a bit stale, almost like they microwaved the bread. The gazpacho was mediocre and tasted overwhelmingly sour. Same thing for the caviar spaghetti, which tasted like lemon and had no hints of caviar taste. For the supposed star of the meal, it was very underwhelming. And the branzino...was the thinnest slice of branzino I've been served at a restaurant with this type of price tag. It was bland, with mild notes of curry. Honestly, if you're looking for great food with the same type of vibe and price, go to Monsieur Dior in Beverly hills instead.

Egghead very mid. Went here with a group of 6 ladies to enjoy convos and a bite before shopping SCP. We had reservations and were seated immediately. When asking the waiter about Holly and Breakfast at Tiffany's he said he's never seen the movie and doesn't know any of the references other than that Holly is the main the main actress. We for the $98 afternoon tea and immediately one of our plates with condiments had a piece of hair on the sauce. The blue white chocolate dipped madeleine had some sort of fibrous debris on top...hopefully it was cotton and not something growing on it...regardless, when mentioned it to the waiter, he tried to grabb it off the tower with his hands...and eventually brought back another on a plate. We also ordered fries that were room temperature and stale. Quite disappointing. Having tastes that, I likely won't be back to try their entrees. There were several shortcomings with the experience from service to taste to value. Ambiance was good but everything else was subpar. I enjoyed the previous restaurant when they were caviar focused more than this new renovation. Hopefully they improve upon the hiccups and are worth trying again.

I honestly wanted to be super critical here, but my server Sunshine really held true to her name and was such a gem that I had to give them 5 stars. Seriously, Sunshine had such a great personality, was super attentive, and overall provided the service I expect from a place like this. I was pretty nervous after reading the reviews, so thank you Sunshine!!! I wanted to do the tea, but was not feeling hungry enough. So we decided to go with the caviar spaghetti and an à la carte caviar egg. Anyone who was disappointed in the food here clearly did NOT order the caviar spaghetti...it's just one of those dishes you won't stop thinking about. I would go back just to have this. All the interior details were simply stunning, and I would recommend this to anyone who has it on their list, celebrating something special, or even wanting to show guests a good time!

The entire place is so aesthetically pleasing with absolutely stunning decor. you'll want to take a lot of photos! The food is definitely on the expensive side, and to be honest, I wasn't really expecting it to be that good since I figured you're mostly paying for the experience, but I was pleasantly surprised! I got the croque à la truffe and really enjoyed it. We also got Tea at Tiffany's and the tea sandwiches were small but delish. Also you gotta get the blue cosmo drink! It's a perfect Tiffany blue Our server was also so kind and patient with us and even brought my mom a birthday dessert, which was such a sweet touch. Overall, such a beautiful and lovely experience for tea. Definitely worth experiencing at least once! It's also the perfect spot for a girls' brunch or a cute special occasion.

Enter in the actual Tiffany store at South Coast Plaza to get to the restaurant in the back of the store. It is is decadent and pays homage to Tiffany's. Came for afternoon tea for $72. Service as you can imagine was impeccable. The burger was surprisingly delicious for $36.

Ambiance was incredible. Felt like being in a movie. Every detail was perfect! Service was good. We had one person who was very friendly and another who was not. But both were attentive to our table. It would have just been nice if the other waiter was more friendly and welcoming. The food was very good. Every bite on the tea tower was in little bite of heaven. And the presentation was spectacular. The Tiffany Tea is a MUST! I never knew tea could taste different and you can't buy it anywhere. The filet was delicious as well. Very tender and flavorful. Don't forget the Blue Cosmo! Everything is a bit pricey but that should be expected for this experience. Nice job but please work on service.

We had such a lovely first visit at the new Blue Box Cafe! Our server, Sunshine, was super friendly, helpful, sweet, and truly lived up to her name. New Maid cocktail: bright, refreshing, very well-balanced Afternoon tea tower: a delightful assortment of savory and sweet, each intricately prepared so that you can eat with your eyes and your palate. Standouts for me were the mini lobster roll, smoked salmon mini pastry, and curry item. Scones were fluffy and delicious. Spaghetti with caviar: Such a gorgeous dish! Unfortunately, we ended up with an unexpectedly soft and bland version of this dish, but when we gave Sunshine some feedback/questions about it, she was kind enough to explain that this was likely a misfire and she offered to send a fresh version or take it off the bill. We were very full at that point so really appreciate her taking it off the bill. Definitely want to try this some other time bc the description sounds great. Loup de Mer (branzino): this was one of Sunshine's recs and it was definitely the star of our dinner. Bursting with flavor and crisped up, the branzino was absolutely delicious. Even the broccolini had so much depth of flavor. Thank you for a lovely evening! Look forward to trying more of the extensive menu.

Such a lovely afternoon at the Blue Box Cafe that just opened at South Coast Plaza inside the Tiffany & Co. Store! The Cafe is located towards the back of the store, so it's a little smaller compared to the store itself, but the space is absolutely beautiful. Everything is done in their signature Tiffany blue, from the decor to the dishware, and there's even a pretty little bar area. I also heard they may be expanding into the neighboring spaces, so it'll be interesting to see if the Cafe grows as well. We came to celebrate my mom's birthday and decided to do the afternoon tea and late brunch. Of course, we had to order the Blue Cosmo, which is one of the popular drinks and fits perfectly with the whole Tiffany's decor. The afternoon tea was such a lovely experience, especially because they really pay attention to the details. The teapot, cups, plates, and all the China coordinated beautifully, which makes such a difference when you're doing afternoon tea. Our server was so sweet and remembered that it was my mom's birthday. They brought her out a little birthday celebration plate with macarons and a Happy Birthday plaque. The service was a little on the slower side, but I think that's understandable since they just opened. They put a lot of attention into the presentation of everything, and you can tell that each detail is carefully put together, so I think that contributes to the timing as well. We arrived a little early for our reservation and waited in their lounge area with couches and chairs. Even the waiting area is beautifully decorated, so it was actually a nice place to relax and take in all the Tiffany's decor. This cafe will definitely be a hot spot and I think this is such a fun place to get dressed up and spend an afternoon with your mom, grandma, aunts, or girlfriends. It would also be really cute for a girls brunch or a special celebration. Overall, we had a lovely experience, and the attention to detail really stood out to me. Definitely would love to come back and try more breakfast items.

Once in a blue moon, when I get a sweet tooth and I'm down in the Newport Beach/Balboa area, I love…read morestopping by Milk & Cookies for a treat. My go-to flavors are the white chocolate macadamia, oatmeal raisin, toffee crunch & lemon blueberry cookies. A single cookie is $2.75, which IMO, is a pretty fair price these days ~ especially since they're a generous size. Since everything is baked fresh daily, the cookies are always soft, fresh and absolutely delicious. It's cool that they offer handmade ice cream and different flavored farm fresh milks, as well. The only downside is the parking situation ~ it can be a bit of a challenge. IYKYK :/ That's pretty much the only reason I don't visit more often. I usually stop by only when I'm already in the area grabbing a meal or hanging out nearby. On every visit, the staff has been friendly, and the shop is always clean and welcoming. All in all, if you're looking for a tasty dessert while you're in the area, Milk & Cookies is worth checking out! RxFoodie recommends!!!

The Order: * My Go-To: I highly recommend the chocolate chip cookie with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream on top. * Variety: They have every flavor of milk, ice cream, and cookies you could want. Timing & Atmosphere: * Avoid Weekends: I would not recommend coming here on a weekend. The store is tiny, and because it's right next to all the bars, the area gets crowded with a lot of drunk people. If that isn't your scene, stick to a weekday visit. * Rewards: It is quite expensive, but it's a nice treat. Plus, you can sign up with your phone number to get discounts for future visits. The Parking Situation: * Virtually Non-Existent: There is no parking lot, so you are stuck looking for small spots along the side of the road. * Accessibility: There is no designated handicap parking, so keep that in mind if you aren't prepared to walk a bit from a side street. Final Verdict: It's a perfect weekday spot for a warm dessert, just be prepared for the peninsula parking struggle!
