Morning lavender is such a lovely café. I enjoy going here with my girlfriends for tea and it's nice to find this place in Tustin rather than traveling down to the tea house in San Juan Capistrano. I like the variety and quality of tea. The beautiful tea pots and porcelain tea service trays of sandwiches are so elegant, as well. Beautiful décor and definitely Instagram-worthy, but the experience was disappointing. Afternoon tea is served outside on the patio even in August on one of the hottest days of the week. We asked to sit inside in the air conditioning and were told only 2-seater tables were available. We said that was fine, and they squeezed our party of 3 onto a tiny table... yet there were unused 4-seater tables inside. Food was fine but very limited, one of each item per person, so it felt rationed. The 18% gratuity is automatically added to the bill. Overall, it's a cute spot for photos or maybe a special occasion, but for the price and the comfort level, I wouldn't come back. Parking is street parking only and hard to find. read more

The Venue is absolutely dreamy in its lavender themed aesthetics. Perfect for girly get together and intimate celebrations ie. bridal shower, baby shower, or just a girls day out for high tea experience. So pretty! The high tea experience is a set menu with served on a three tier tower which is beautifully decorated with finger sandwiches (cucumber, salmon, chicken salad, cream cheese), yummy scone with butter and jam, and of course the dessert which includes macaron, fruit tart, and mini donut. I've been to the hello kitty high tea at the Irvine spectrum last month and The tea house at Los RIOS and the food I have to say is comparable or maybe a little better flavorful. My first time here was for a private event to celebrate a baby shower. It is the perfect venue to host a small group of friends because the interior is so nicely decorated and basically every wall was a good photo op. Service was also good. They accommodated our needs and clearly explained each part of the set menu, which included two types of tea, finger sandwiches, scones, and desserts. The tea menu was extensive and all sounded so delicious. My favorite was the jasmine orange oolong tea. The sandwiches were fun to eat in small slices. The scones were perfection, paired with butter and strawberry jam. The desserts were too sweet for my preference but they looked so cute. I saw that a few of my friends had checked in here from Yelp. I read their reviews and told myself I needed to stop by for a visit! Parking was difficult to find during my visit. I had to park a few streets down. Make sure you pay attention to the signage. I love the layout of the boutique. Half is the boutique, the café in the back, and a patio for high tea on the outside. They have fitting rooms available to try on items. You just need to let one of the ladies know you want to try some items to open a room for you. They open the I purchased a romper and a dress for about $130. The pieces range in price, but it looked like the average price was in the high $60s. They also have a sale rack with some pieces marked down. You have to pay for your items before you go to the café area. The lady who took care of the transaction also asked me if I wanted packaged versions of the items or if I wanted one off the rack. I will be stopping by again soon when I'm in the area. read more

They were also accommodating when i couldn't decide which color or style and we're honest in their guidance. i wish i remembered the associate who assisted me she was super sweet! the clothes are cute here! if you are a stickler for materials i do recommend to watch out for certain pieces or check the tags there are many cute accessories on the tables as well. their shoe collection is very tiny parking is annoying ! you can't park at the lot right next door as you can get towed so be careful. street parking seems to be the only option when their lot is full i love that this place is connected to a cafe . would come back! also whoever's on their marketing or social media -keep up the good work .. that's how i found you guys in the first place! read more

I ordered iced lavender latte with macadamia milk & my love ordered iced Vietnamese coffee with macadamia milk. So good, perfect sweet amount and strong coffee flavor! They will ask if you want have lavender and sea salt on the top. Haven't try their food yet but heard its pretty good and perfect for afternoon tea. Went during a deal on drinks. Tea is bitter and watered down, you can tell they are not keeping up with demand and are overbrewing the tea and adding too much ice to cool it. I also ordered the lavender and I'm 95% sure I did not get what I ordered. Usually I like normal milk tea so I didn't think it would be a problem, but as mentioned earlier it's no good. Really cute shop I've been following on Ig and Finally made it over there to look for my tea party bday dress back in spring. Saw a dress I had my eyes on their IG page. The Alexandra Mini along w the Mimi one. I called Morning Lavender to make sure they had the dress in stock before heading to orange. The Associate looked for the 2 dresses and had it on hold for me til closing. Went there an hour before closing in the afternoon on a weekday. It's located in Old town Orange. Was able to find free parking on the street. Lots of parking available in front of the shop or stores next door/near by. Right when I stepped foot in this beautiful boutique. It was love at 1st sight. Everything was so pretty and styling chic. I love the entire store. The vibes, the decor and all the pretty items this boutique has. Really girly, soft hues. I did go during spring. Love how everything is so organized by the color schemes. I even fell in love w their sandals. Just bummed they didn't have my size. I do wear a common shoe size 7. The dressing room were clean and spacious. Associate were really friendly assisting me to the dressing room, the items I wanted to try on/shoes also and at the register ringing me up. Even my daughter loves Morning Lavender. The next weeks she kept saying "When are we gonna go back to that pretty store." And i knew in an instant which store she meant. I need to return again soon especially to their cafe which located next door to the shop. Check in on Yelp and get 10% off per their sign posted near register. I've been here several times for the afternoon tea parties and for their cute boutique. The afternoon tea is $35/person which is actually really good considering most of the other fancy places are $50+. The only thing is once you had on alcoholic beverages and tax and tip, you end up paying about $50-60/person. It includes your choice of tea and milk which they have a wide selection of, 4 finger sandwiches, a macaron, and a couple of other desserts. All of which are pretty good. Their drinks outside of the afternoon tea are pretty good too. EVery time I go to afternoon tea, I always get a frose' which is a frozen rose'. It's really really good, but can be pretty sweet, so if you're trying to avoid sugar, this is not for you. They also have teas and lattes outside of the afternoon tea menu. My favorite is either the lavender or rose lattes. I like mine cold. They have a cute boutique connected to the cafe with really cute clothing. I've bought a few things in the store. The quality is not super amazing like what you would find at Nordstrom's or Bloomingdales, but it's not bad. Some of their stuff can be pretty pricey though. read more
