First time at this beautiful location! My family and I were craving some delicious Korean cake after dinner. We decided to stop by this location before we headed home. Love how large the space is. The dining area so is chic and perfect for some conversation time with friends. Even though we arrived 15mins before closing, they still had quite of selection of breads. The cakes were beautiful as always. A few new Mother's Day selection that's out already. We got a strawberry cloud cake and an orange cake slice. Tous Les Jours is a nice local bakery in Brea when you're in the mood for pastries, cakes, or fresh bread. The display cases always have a lot to choose from, so it's fun to grab a variety of things to try. On our visit we picked up quite a mix: the milk bread loaf, cloud cream cake with strawberries, cheesecake, Guava Pie, cream cheese tart, Portuguese egg tart, chocolate muffin, blueberry muffin, caramel apple pie, fruit tart, and a cinnamon twist. The cheesecake was really good -- smooth, creamy, and nicely balanced in sweetness. The cloud cream cake with strawberries was light and fresh, and the milk bread loaf is incredibly soft and perfect to bring home for toast or breakfast. One of our favorites was the cinnamon twist. It was fluffy and delicious, almost like the texture of a malasada. The fruit tart was also beautifully made and a nice lighter option. Not every item necessarily stood out the same way, but overall it's an enjoyable bakery and a convenient local spot when you're craving pastries or want to bring home a mix of sweet treats to share. The shop itself is clean, well organized, and the staff has always been friendly when we stop in. this weather was beautiful and i decided to treat myself to an iced matcha, and i'm glad my friend and i finally tried this spot! we've wanted to try their matcha for a while. walking in i'm immediately shocked by the amount of pastries they had. you can mix and match your choices on a tray, then bring to the counter. you can even order cakes whole or by the piece! they looked so delicious, i will definitely be back to try some desserts. the staff was kind, and promptly room our order. both drinks came out at a decent time, considering we were the only ones who ordered. my only (slight) concern was that my name wasn't taken, and my order was not called out when it was ready. since i was in a conversation with my friend, we had no idea our drinks were ready. however there was a lots of staff working on preparing fresh desserts, so it seemed busy behind the counter! i didn't at all, considering we were the only ones who ordered drinks, but it would've been nice to have been called out. maybe it was a one time things, hopefully it's different when it's busy! overall, the staff was kind, the place was cute and neat, and the atmosphere is the perfect aesthetic with good seating to catch up with friends. i'd definitely come back, especially for the desserts! read more

I've been to this location several times to co-work and there's always a new menu item to explore. Then they told me that it wasn't old, it comes to their store frozen!!!! I knew I should have gone elsewhere to get my cake. I went into the store to order a cake for Friday pick up. The gentleman who took my order, Mark, didn't even know that he had to write in invoice order for my cake. I had to tell him how to and to make sure that I received a paid invite. I went in on Friday to pick up my cake and they couldn't find my order since Mark never put it in. So they gave me an old frozen cake. First time in this shop or any Tous Les Jours. I really thought it was a full-on French bakery, like the ones in France, but it's a Korean-French bakery. So a bit of a mix of the two. Still was fairly impressive with their selection of pastries. I was most intrigued with their creme donuts and ended up getting the Lemon Creme Donut and it was very good. Donut itself was $3.95. Their pastries ran about $3-$6 a piece. I like the pastries, but that's a lot for per piece of pastry. Maybe not a regular stop bakery, but a stop on a weekend or special celebration to get some good-tasting pastries. This location is behind the Birch Street shopping plaza, so there's other shops in the same plaza. I got a 30-minute spot in front of the bakery, but parking can be tight here depending when you stop-in. read more

My friends and I decided to go a little crazy and split a ton of pastries amongst ourselves one Monday night. We walked in around 7:00ish or so and there was still quite a variety of pastries. We got a bunch of sweet and savory options, as well as some macarons up front. The macarons were definitely a highlight--the earl grey one was DELICIOUS! Ever since going to their yelp elite event, I've been loving this bakery! I love the clean and bright ambiance here. Always playing nice relaxing music. 12-23-2025 I still haven't visited the TLJ in La Habra yet, but this location is so pretty. Well-maintained, and I love the choice of pastries, as well as how the matcha lattes come out. It started raining as soon as I was leaving, but I wish I stayed longer. Customer service was top-notch as expected, and I will always feel happy to return and support a company I once worked for, even if that time wasn't the best experience. I ordered the sesame ball and iced honey lavender latte with coconut milk, and both were quite heavenly. These sesame balls take me back to my childhood. It is nostalgic! This location of the French/Asian bakery is located in a large plaza in downtown Brea. They have a large case of gorgeous cakes and macarons at the counter to choose from. One can also grab some tongs and a tray and pick what you like from a large assortment of pastries in cases near the entryway and present them at the register. I went the "tong" route and chose an egg tart and also a mutant hybrid called a "crookie" - part croissant and part chocolate chip cookie. I also purchased a hot vanilla latte. The folks at the register were full of smiles and friendliness. The interior of the place is comfortable and inviting with a huge semi-circular cushy seating area along with many tables. It was early evening and not too busy so I decided to sit and enjoy my pastries and latte (but by the time I left the place became packed!). The egg tart was fantastic with a perfectly made crust and a filling that was quite flavorful. The crookie was weird and wonderful. It looked like a croissant sandwiched between the cookie. The croissant was crisp but not fluffy, better matching the texture of the cookie, which wasn't too sweet and had a balanced amount of chocolate chips. With my first bite I wasn't sure if I was going to like it but by the time I finished I wanted another (but restrained myself). The vanilla latte was served at an immediate drinking temperature and had a vivid vanilla flavor; perfectly made. This was my first visit to the Tous Les Jours bakery and I was impressed! The bakery is part of a larger chain throughout the region. It was a bustling and inviting atmosphere on a Saturday evening with a charming aesthetic. It's giving Paris Baguette but with a noticeable larger and better variety of baked goods. Even at 7pm, the staff was restocking the baked goods section. There were so many options ranging from sweet or savory items, pre-packaged treats, made to order drinks, cakes, and macarons. Mobile ordering is also available. The space itself is clean with a good usage of seating. Floral lighting, cool tones, and comfortable seating all added to the ambiance. 12/30/2024 New location at the Brea Gateway Center! Soft opened on December 23rd. Officially opens in the first week of January. No date given. In my opinion, I think this is the best Tous Les Jours location that's opened in Orange County so far. It is not as large as the Cerritos location, but the variety of pastries, breads, sandwiches and cakes here were endless! It was a lot! No one can complain that they don't have enough bread here! The pastries, breads, and cakes tried were from the past two times I've visited. I've combined this review. CROQUE MONSIEUR Of course it's not the traditional croque monsieur and it is a little more on the sweeter side. Sliced white bread, mayonnaise, American cheese, thinly sliced ham, and melted mozzarella cheese on top. The thinly sliced ham was present, but overall a very creamy and sweet flavor. I toasted it in the toaster oven and it tasted much better because of it. The bread was crispy too around the edges and that brought a very satisfying experience. But I was hungry too and that was the first thing I ate. CURRY CROQUETTE Mild curry flavor. Crunchy croquette. Reheated in toaster oven. Overall not bad, but I think Okayama Kobo Bakery does it better. Plus, they have their spicy curry pan that can't be beat! That one's addictive! COCOA HAZELNUT CROISSANT Light hazelnut chocolate flavor which was delicious, but not enough filling. It wasn't oozing out. The croissant was not the best, on the softer side, although the hazelnut chocolate cream helped make it a bit more enjoyable. The cocoa bits sprinkled on top did not add anything to the pastry except decoration. I wouldn't order again. STRAWBERRY TIRAMISU Now THIS ONE was delicious! Loved every spoonful! It is basically spongecake with strawberry jam and whipped cream. It's a small, individual sized boxed cake that fits in your hand. The jam had a great strawberry flavor, although some parts of it did have that imitation flavor too. But overall still really good flavor and overall delightfully delicious strawberry tiramisu! I would eat this again and again! WALNUT AND MAPLE ROLL CAKE Pretty good! Soft and spongy roll cake with a maple syrup flavored cream and with walnuts on top. Lots of walnuts! I think this is a seasonal item. The filling is on the sweeter side. But I couldn't eat more than one slice. It is that sweet compared to most of Tous Les Jours' cake items. CUSTOMER SERVICE Everyone was smiling and friendly. There were lots of employees here making sure that customers are taken care of. However, a small line started to form and there were only two registers. I think they should consider getting three. At least keep an extra for those "just in case." SEATS / BATHROOM There were a few tables, bar seats and a large sofa for seats. This place is a simple grab and go. Most of the people that did sit down to eat were families with small children or the elderly. The whole seating area was clean the first time I was here, but today was just messy. It makes me sad that a new place like this can get messy and quick! There is bathroom here, but I did not check it out. All I know is that there was a bathroom sign. PARKING Horrendous! No matter what time of day or night you're there, you'll always look for parking. The parking lot is big, but too many people and too many cars. Good luck in finding one! read more

We came in during their soft opening and I personally found this to be the nicest TLJ location I've visited. This Brea location had a great selection of savory and sweet pastries and I especially liked the ambiance of the indoor seating area which was modern and spacious. I was only planning on grabbing a couple pastries as we had just finished lunch but ended up leaving with more as everything looked yummy. I opted for the "flat croissant" ($3.75), a crookie ($4.95), red bean donut ($2.95), and a chocolate pretzel pastry ($3.75), as well as a macaron from the counter. All the pastries tasted fresh and I especially enjoyed the red bean donut which had a good amount of red bean filling. The donut itself was sweet and airy. The flat croissant was my second favorite as it was flaky, slightly sweet and perfectly crispy. Service was friendly and there was ample indoor seating available. The ambiance was relaxing and inviting but the tables did seem a bit dirty from crumbs left from previous patrons, but as it's only in its soft opening stage, I'm sure they are still working out the kinks. The selection is amazing, with everything from bread to pastries. cakes to madelines. On Saturday I ordered a Starbucks and was curious to check this place. I decided to walk in and was pleasantly surprised. It reminded me of Paris Baguette or 85 degrees. They were both really tasty! The croquette was filled with what looked like glass noodles, some vegetables and not sure what else since I didn't read ingredients. Regardless, it was very big and tasted good. The blueberry cream cheese was sweet but not too sweet, the perfect balance. The location was very clean and they had the trays, papers, and tongs to use for your pastries. I live around the area and charge my car here.
