I got the sweet corn latte with oat milk -- had a great subtle flavor of corn milk which highlighted the espresso, which was the star. Texture of the drink was silky and smooth, not watery at all. Met the owner-- who was super engaging and kind. Their menu is extensive but with so many options-- everyone found something they liked!! Thee Americano with cold foam 1/2 sweet, was the perfect amount of sweetness. The roast was delicious bonus points that they roast in house!! Initial plan was to have lunch at Carrot & Daikon on NYE, but it was closed! Luckily this cafe was open and got our business instead. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Orders came out pretty quick, within 10 min, after ordering (given it was not really busy with only a handful of patrons dining in). I got a delicious ham & cheese croissant that was pressed like a panini! Very tasty. I was not expecting the croissant to be toasted like that. My husband got the lox bagel and it was filling. I ordered the Rhapsody hot coffee, which is basically a raspberry latte, along with a custom turkey sausage, egg, and pepper jack cheese sandwich on a jalapeño-cheese bagel. The bagel itself was great, but I wasn't a fan of how the egg was prepared on the sandwich, so I'd probably try something different next time. This place has the largest menu of drinks I've ever seen for a coffee shop. I was overwhelmed at the selection but ultimately went with the Tiramisu, whole milk and light ice. I stopped here for some coffee late one afternoon. I appreciate that this is one of the few coffee cafes that have late hours...and plenty of parking. The interior is spacious with a lot of tables and there is also some patio seating. I ordered a hot vanilla latte and chose a key lime tart from the abundance of pastry options. I took a seat at a single table between a couple of students who were busy on their laptops and my order was soon brought to my table. The vanilla latte was superb! The coffee was great quality and was the forefront of flavor while the vanilla was vibrant in the background. The slight bitterness of the coffee and the mild sweetness of the vanilla were blended at a perfect ratio. The tart had a great crust and the key lime was good but lacking the bold, tart, lime flavor one expects from anything claiming to be key lime. Which brings me to this yelp question: While many pastries sold here (including my tart) are actually made at La Mousse bakery in Carson rather than in-house, should my minor disappointment be reflected in my rating of the business that just sells it? Their grand opening was yesterday and it was slammed, but I came in the morning after and it was empty. Upon entering, I was enthusiastically welcomed. I ordered a caramel latte and a blueberry muffin. The owner told me that she forgot to order the baked goods for today. So no muffin for me. My latte was fine. Served in a generic white to go cup without any latte art. Ample parking in a plaza with the very popular Tony's and Crunch Fitness. The space is chocolate brown and white with cute decorative accents. Big communal table in the back, directly in front of the area they roast their beans. Since it's just day 2 that they've been open, I can hope that they'll get better with some experience. Crossing my fingers for them! There have been many coffeehouses that have opened in the area this year, right now I prefer Made and Reborn (or Bag of Cakes which is within walking distance). read more

Lovely shop. Prices are higher than I'd like, but the drink I ordered and service I received were great. I tried the iced raspberry rhapsody after seeing other reviews. I asked for it less sweet and opted to have both the mocha and raspberry parts less sweet. The barista said to try it and if needed she will add more raspberry flavoring. She was right, it needed more of the raspberry flavoring. So next time, when I ask for it to be less sweet, I'll know just to ask to get the mocha less sweet.
