Donut selection is sparse, always picked through no matter what time you go. If you go early around 6am, the "donuts aren't ready". If you go at 7am, 8am, 9am, the favorites are gone. The frosted cake-style donuts are sitting there. But the glazed, the donut holes, fritters, cinnamon rolls, cronuts, chocolate twists, devils food.....already gone or not ready. I bring donuts to work sometimes and used to switch between several donut shops but I started getting requests that I bring donuts from K&M only. Of course I had to comply. The quality of the donuts is really good. The donuts are exactly how they're supposed to be, every time. The raised donuts are always light and fluffy. The old fashions are flaky and not doughey. The glaze is the right amount, vs some places that use too light of a touch. The service is always very friendly. In the morning, everyone there seems to be regular customers. Not many donuts were left at 9:30am on that Saturday morning I dropped by. Lucky for me, they had my favorite kind of donut still available. Custard filled Chocolate donuts are normally the one I choose when visiting a donut shop for the first time. Their version did not disappoint. It tasted excellent. Perfect ratio of delicious custard to donut. I hate it when shops hardly put any custard. Thoroughly enjoyed this donut. Ate it at their shop which was clean and tidy. Chances of return visits are good whenever I go to one of my favorite shops that is located in the same strip mall. I've dropped by here several times, but they've only been open the one time. No frills donut shop tucked away next to Tony's Little Italy. Looks very similar to other donut shops and prices are in the same range. Their jelly donut is a bit too tart and their crumb twist falls apart easily. Otherwise, the donuts taste pretty standard. One dozen donuts for $12 if it is a mixed variety. The special donuts like apple fritter, cinnamon bun, or bear claw are HUGE! I tried a glazed donut as soon as I came home and it was melt in your mouth, close your eyes and savor moment for me lol The sugar glaze was perfect as I hate super sweet or overly sugar donuts. Great donuts and excellent prices and great customer service ! I come here every so often to pick up donuts for work. I highly recommend this donut shop with only 1 exception. Every time I come here there are a group of old men smoking cigarettes at the table outside right next to the front door! It's disgusting to have to walk up to the front door of this establishment and go thru a cloud of cigarette smoke at 7am. Great basic donuts I love this place. They make and sell great basic donuts. Nothing overly fancy - just simple delicious donuts. I've had a few different types of donuts here and everyone has been good. But I'll be honest - it's the pink donut. Many donut shops have done away with the pink donut, but it's alive and well at K&M. Service is fine - pretty much on par with what you'd expect from a place like this and the prices seem on par with other shops around the area. Legit donut shop. I showed up around 10 am and they were almost sold out of donuts. That alone told me how good this place is. I bought 3 donuts and they were only $1 each. The guy even threw in a free donut which was a huge apple fritter. I shared a chocolate sprinkle donut with my baby and it literally melted in my mouth. This doughnut shop is a semi-hidden gem in the middle of a residential area, located in a tiny strip mall tucked behind an auto repair shop. It is on the way to work, so I stop here often, much to the chagrin of my pro-health bosses :D. The lady who runs the place is friendly and the donuts are fresh and delicious. I come here mainly for the doughnut holes, they are little bits of melt-in-your-mouth heaven! I come so often that when I walk in she asks "how many dozen?" One day they were behind and the doughnut holes were still in the fryer, they were still hot when I got to work, I got 'office hero' recognition that day. Nice! Ok their chocolate bars are bomb. Someone brought them into work and I couldn't believe how good they were. It had a really solid chocolate taste instead of those less flavorful sugary watered down chocolate bars. I went by the shop myself to get one again and it was just as good as I remembered it!! The inside breading is super soft with a good taste that complements the chocolate perfectly!! I'm usually not that into donuts but that one is such good quality!! After tax it was $1.15 for my chocolate bar. They are open 4:30am - 12pm. It seems like they sell out of certain donuts early. read more

Love stopping by K&M, which is across from Sierra Vista Elementary, and next to Tony's Pizza (Chicago style). The owners are awesome - friendly service and occasionally throw in a few donut holes with my chocolate bar. Items are made fresh and we especially like the cronuts. YUM! The premium Apple Fritters and Bear Claws are consistently good. Sometimes,I'll have a chocolate bar as well. I would assume the glazed, pershings, et. al. are also good.
