Stumbled on M J's Donuts while grabbing coffee at Better Buzz. There was still a good variety of pastries available when I stopped by around 9 a.m. on a Thursday. I ordered a ham and cheese croissant ($5), a jalapeño ham and cheese croissant ($5), and a maple bar ($1.50), for a total of $11.50. They offer to warm up the croissants, which makes them perfect to enjoy right away--highly recommend! The gentleman at the counter even added a donut hole to each croissant bag. It appears to be a husband-and-wife team running the shop, and they mentioned they've been in business for 30 years! I later realized the maple bar wasn't included in my bag, but it's not a big deal--I'll just have to return and try a few more items next time. Few parking spots available right up front specific to donut shop customers only. Otherwise, there is ample parking in the shared lot. read more

Every time I'm in the area I always stop by ! The lady in the front is so welcoming and generous. She always throws me extra donuts holes with my order and their savory items are huge and SO worth it for the price. I'm leaving 1 star off because they used to always have the best marble donuts but lately the marble donuts have been very subpar. It used to be a white vanilla glaze with decent amount of chocolate frosting parts and was always soft and fresh but also light and somewhat hollow inside which made them fluffy and good. Now they are more heavy and taste a tad stale and more hard, and the white vanilla glaze is now barely there and is like a light regular glaze with a little less chocolate on it too, it's too dense and not fluffy or soft. It just seems less fresh and less flavorful than it used to be. I'm not sure what changed but it was better before. read more

I went here one time and will never go back. The lady working there put two donut holes in my donut box even though I didn't ask for them and then charged me for them before I could even say anything. Yes, they were only 50 cents more; she put them in to make my total an even $9 instead of $8.50. Still, I was very upset about that. I'm unsure if she's too lazy to give me change/quarters, greedy, or both, but that left a very sour taste in my mouth, which is saying something considering how sweet donuts are. Stay clear of this dump; I will gladly go out of my way to go somewhere else, even if it's much farther, more expensive, and doesn't taste as good, because customer service matters. Located in same plaza as Carl's Jr. Literally right behind the restaurant and also same plaza as Paul's Kitchen & my waxing place, Nena's Waxing. Lots of parking right in the front or in the plaza. The owners are really social. Love how they were both out there serving their customers and engaging. Lina had a regular customer in there enjoying his coffee along w his donuts. There are a few tables inside to enjoy your sweet treats. The donut shop is a bit old fashion. Donuts are soft & good. Even a few days afterwards. Pricing is great. However, it is only the regular donuts and you don't get the cream and jelly filled donuts. The menu did say big donuts are $16/dozen, so I assume you'll get them if you order those. All of them were good, but a bit more dense than other places. The prices are extremely reasonable at $1.25 per donut, but note there is a credit card fee regardless of how much you spend, so it's best to bring cash if possible! As others mentioned, the owner is really sweet and generous, as she usually throws in extra donut holes in each bag and one time also gave me an entire donut for free!
