I live nearby and always want to support the nearest local donut shop. Unfortunately, their donuts are stale and the icing on the donut is just poorly done. When you bite into a donut, you expect the initial crunch from the breaking of the icing, and then a pillow soft chewy texture for the rest of the bite. All I get is a crunch from the stale bread and a horrible oil after taste. read more

Open from 4am-8pm!!! I like that they are open later than other donut shops in the area. That means I can still pick up donuts after dinner. The service is great. A man greeted me with a smile and gladly answered all my questions about their flavors. I got 6 kinds donuts for $6.70 (including $0.50 charge for using credit card) plus the man gave me 1 extra donut or FREE ^_^. They were all delicious. My favs were the chocolate long johns and orange donut. Next time I wanna try their smoothies and maybe a scratcher or two. They have a wall filled with winning scratchers. read more

This place won my business when the boba place was closed. At World Donut I got an ice blended Taro tea. It was SOOO good. Since I was already getting a sugar rush, I figured I might as well try their donuts. I got an old fashioned Blueberry and the donut holes. They were delicious! Mind you it was 3pm, so I can only imagine how much yummiest they will be when they're especially fresh (in the morning). To top it off, they sell lottery tickits and appear to be a "Lucky Retailer" with winning tickets all over their wall. So, I got some of those too. Haha. There are also drinks, ice cream bars, and other snacks available here. It's like a cute, clean, traditional donut shop with so much to offer. They take cash and card, although charge a fee to use your card, so I would bring cash. I will be back and recommend you try them too. read more

DONUTS AND LOTTO!! Two of my favorite words! Somehow my sister found it on Yelp but we weren't too sure where in YL it was located, its in a shopping center that is very tucked away along La Palma Ave! They have strange hours (5:30AM to 8PM) we came in around 6ish and they still had a good amount of donuts (donuts that were AMAZING!) Also the nice little woman that runs this store is so friendly and had a wall of scratcher winners! Then a huge selection of scratchers! Immediately my eyes got so WIDE! I finally have a lotto spot that is local! My mom really liked the bran donut and said it was quite fresh and so was my twist donut! I'm definitely coming back! ^__^ read more

Hands Down, the Best Donuts I've ever had. These donuts blow away any premium donut place in Newport and such. The breading of each donut is fantastic. It's not dry. You don't need any type of liquid to drink afterwards because of the moistness of the donut. The chocolate used tastes great. A lot of Places use some cheap mix for the chocolate; not this place. Family owned mom & pop doughnut shop. This place has a large variety of doughnuts and pastries. The prices are very fair here. I have been a regular of this place sporadically for years (sporadic because there were periods were I was away for college and grad school). Even with not having been in the shop for over a year, the family who runs this place remembers me and exactly what I always order (chocolate twist). They even remember what I order for my brother! One time I walked in and before I said anything, the owner apologized for running out of chocolate buttermilk doughnuts for my brother. You can't get this kind of service at the big chain doughnut shops! Also, if you are a regular, sometimes you'll notice a couple of extra doughnut holes tucked into your order! I love the donuts here! The owners make them, and they'll tell you which donuts are still warm. Try the cronuts. Nowhere near healthy, but deliciously buttery and wonderful. Just walked in at 5:05 AM and I can't believe what the quality looks like. It honestly appears that they don't even know how to frost a donut, as well as making the dough presentable. I am a donut connoisseur! The donuts here are excellent. The owners are wonderful and kind people. My favorite is a glazed cruller and the owners always remember that. I have never liked buttermilk bars donuts. However their buttermilks are soooo good that it has become my second favorite. All kinds of coffee are available.
