Stumbled upon this place because I was starving so glad i did! Worth it. My favorite was the biscoff one. Want to come back one day!! I think i might like this place more than mochi nit, they seemed similar!
Look at the pictures. Melted plastic on my Crispy Ramen Dog!! Who places a piping hot out of the deep fryer in a plastic container then gives it to a customer?? Well Mochi Lounge does!! I didnt realize until I took the first bite. Something tasted like chemical. Then I noticed grease on my table. Then saw a hole melted through the container from the ramen dog! That is Unsatisfactory!! Can harm someone. I can't give an accurate rating on the donuts. Because I cannot get the chemical taste out of my mouth. The question I have is, if they aren't smart enough to understand that something piping hot out of the oil fryer can melt plastic, then what else do they not understand. When I walked into the place, the owner or employee, was sitting at a table, meant for customers and eating. If you were going to eat on the job, you should eat in the back away from customers! I will not go back to this place, and I do not recommend people go to this place. They have boba and teas but I wont be back to try them. Dont trust them!
This place is cute, but on the smaller side so really only good for grab and go. However, the parking is plentiful, so that is nice. I came at 11am right when they opened and expected to have more options from their main menu. I didn't realize it was only a selection offered from the main menu that's as available to customers. This made my bonus daughter a bit sad, as she really wanted the cookies and cream one, but she got the ube churro and liked that also. There was also going to be a wait for boba, which is something I dislike when stores are opening as this is an easy thing to accommodate for (having boba available when stores open). For those two reasons I knocked off a star, but overall it was great and the mochi donut was good (I got pumpkin with sprinkles). Overall, I'd probably come back to try the hotdog and boba, but today was only a mochinut day.
I love Mochinut because you can get Korean corn dogs, boba, and mochi donuts all in one place. Though their boba isn't the best I've ever had, they come in a cute yet practical plastic bottle with a sealed cover, making it easy to travel with and basically spill-proof. At this location, we ordered the raspberry black tea and an ube milk tea with boba. I wasn't expecting to receive very little boba in my drink, so I was a bit disappointed in that. Otherwise, their drinks are pretty decent. I like their donuts because they aren't dense or too sweet. They're the perfect dessert/snack size and you can easily cut them into smaller pieces to try more flavors. I've yet to visit a Mochinut that makes their donuts fresh & in front of you, which is a bummer. I like the idea about the donut flavors rotating every 3-4 days because they have so many options, but they don't let you know of the upcoming flavors in advance. It'd be great to see a sign that showcases upcoming flavors. My all time favorite from Mochinut is their Korean corn dogs. They're made to order, so they come out piping hot and fresh. The wait time isn't that long, which is also a plus. They have a great selection to choose from, which always makes my decision difficult. We ordered the whole mozzarella and the half sausage, half mozzarella. I love the color code distinctions that they use for the sticks! They provide three sauce options (ketchup, mustard, and spicy Mayo). So good!
Got a Thai tea (without boba) and Ube drink (with boba) and they were both really tasty! I like strong flavors so I liked that the drinks didn't taste watered down. Also was pleasantly surprised that the drinks were sweetened to my liking without adjustment (idk if you can specify a sweetness there) since it tends to be hit or miss for me. Boba was decent overall, I think there were maybe a pearl or two undercooked. They weren't super sweet but not bland, and complimented my drink well. My dad tried some of the thai tea and agreed it was pretty good. Plus the drinks look super cool! The cans may seem a bit small but I think you definitely feel full after one. Price isn't the craziest either at $5.50 each (before tax). Employee working there was very friendly. Greeted me as I entered and left, and had a really positive attitude. Super fast as well, he had my drinks ready before I finished paying. Customers came in before and after me and he was working alone I think so I'm sure he had his hands full. Nonetheless, great service! Based on my experience, would recommend. Only improvement I can suggest is for the boba quality, but it was by no means bad and I happily devoured my drink. Probably 4.75/5 stars, but Yelp only believes in whole numbers so I'll round up to 5, 4 doesn't do it justice :)
Checked this place out after we went to the movies! This place is located in the same complex as Cinema City, McDonald's, Chipotle and Starbucks. We ordered a milk boba (only one size), half a dozen mochi donuts (Ube, Ube churro, match Oreo, original glazed, coffee and raspberry funnel mochi donut. And a hot Cheetos half and half rice hotdog, and a cereal half and half rice hotdog. The milk tea boba was good. The boba was soft and had just the right chewiness. Wished there was something more kid friendly, like a slush or a juice option tho My kids only cared for the original and the Ube churro mochi donut. The mochi donuts didn't seem "fresh" it was a bit firmer than what we're use to. As for taste I personally am not a big fan of these flavors. I'm hoping for better flavors the next time we go. As for the rice hotdog, the hot Cheetos half and half wasn't as spicy as I thought it would be. The cereal half and half was pretty good! It's made to order so it may take a bit. But it's ok. All-in-all...I say this place is pretty good. But I think the mochi donuts are a bit pricey. But would I return? Yes, in hopes there are different flavor donuts !
I'm a big fan of mochi donuts and normally drive down to South OC for my fix! I've passed by different Mochinut locations over the years, but this was my first time trying it. The staff was really nice and generous, as they let me sample a few different flavors since I was feeling pretty indecisive. I originally wanted to order four donuts, but apparently they only sell them in quantities of three, six and twelve - which is frankly brilliant because I ended up getting more than I had originally planned! My favorite flavors were definitely the matcha oreo and coffee. The ube and guava were just alright. The texture was chewy and on point, but most of the donuts tasted pretty similar - just really sweet. I wish the flavors were more pronounced and distinct, but alas, this is still a great local option for mochi donuts! I paid around $17 for 6, so each donut will cost you a little under $3, which is pretty typical for these places. I would imagine their flavors likely rotate on a daily basis, so I'd be interested in coming back to try more! Definitely glad Mochinut has arrived in the area!
I got to try a dozen mochinut's courtesy of Mochinut Anaheim but I also purchased 2 hotdogs, and a brown sugar ube boba and got an extra mochinut for free for spending over $15. Everything about Mochinut is so cute!!! The packaging and the boba drink cup is so unique. This is definitely a foodie cravings place but I actually think their donuts are better than Krispy Kreme!! That is if you like unique flavors and a donut that is not EXTREMELY sweet. It has the perfect amount of sweetness to the point that I can eat 2-3 in one sitting But I will try not to lol. I especially love the guava and cherry flavors they are currently offering. It was my first time trying Korean corndogs and they were pretty good!! Especially the potato half mozzarella half hot dog. That cheese pull Overall, I would recommend Mochinut Anaheim, they had great service, good location, and a nice amount of seating. Yummy mochinuts, corn dogs, and boba. Not sure if you can adjust the sweetness of the boba but that would be an even better perk !
Great location! They have an extended menu now and offer Korean corn dogs, sandwiches and breakfast items. Decent prices and great customer service. Highly recommended!
This place is tucked away beneath the Imperial Highway near the 91 Foot traffic was pretty slow and the staff taking our order seemed pretty detached, but we had a half & half potato dog each, a Yuzu Mochinut and a Lychee Slush for just $15 Everything was delicious and we'll definitely stop by when we're in the area again!
Super good donuts! They always have an offer going on like buy 6 donuts get one free. The workers are so kind and friendly! Cute little date spot since it's so colorful and fun to look around.
I was so excited to finally try these uniquely shaped donuts! We tried the regular glazed, cookies and cream, and strawberry funnel. At 3$ each I had high hopes! Sadly, my son and I were both disappointed. They taste very much like regular donuts. Maybe I was expecting more of a chewy rice taste? Sorry Mochinut. Not worth the price in my opinion.
Came in because I saw they now offer breakfast items. Unfortunately, the chef was not in and therefore, nothing from the breakfast OR lunch menu was being served. Opted for the Korean hotdogs. Cheez its regular and one half and half. The half and half as my favorite ~ the cheese half was generous and beautifully gooey. The batter was a basic corn dog batter. Sadly, the Cheez its flavor didn't come through, so it was just like an ordinary corn dog with crumbs Service was friendly and quick. Review 30/365 Challenge Came here for the ReGrand Opening/Re Branding for bfast 3.15.25 Didn't realize the event was cancelled due to rain. They are rescheduling it. Met the owner Oz and he was really helpful & nice. What we ordered ~ Mochi Donuts were good but a little on the sweeter side. The icing But a lot of varieties of mochi flavors. ~ Breakfast bowl was really interesting. Definitely an Asian twist to it. ~ Pink lemonade with boba was refreshing. Have a lot of other varieties like breakfast/lunch items, Korean corn dogs, mochi donuts and different varieties of teas, drinks, milk teas with boba. There's seatings outside along w lounging couches inside the shop. With a few games for entertainment. Lots of parking available. In the same plaza as Tesla dealer and Wingstop, Chipotle next to California fish grill. read more
This place is ok. I think this place should just stick to the mochi donuts and the Korean corn dogs cause adding extra food items to the menu ain't it. I got the longaniza breakfast burrito and barely tasted any longaniza in there . It was mostly eggs potatoes and veggies . I also got the mojito mango tea and it was pretty refreshing but not the best . The service here is pretty good tho the gentleman that took my order was pretty nice and they're pretty quick with making your meals . But I do like that they have lounge chairs where you can enjoy your treat and hang with friends. Nice location. I'd come back again but not get their food items . Just going to stick with the dessert items and the Korean corn dogs. read more

Service was great! We loved the food. We got the Lotus mochinut and the Ube Mochidounut. They were soft and a right amount of moist. We got Hot Cheetos 1/2 & 1/2 Hotdog. Biting into the cheese with the spice of the cheetos was very phenomenal. read more

We visited because it's new and we didn't know anything about Mochinut. We were given one sample each, it was warm and chewy. We selected three to take home. It was Halloween and the cakes were nicely decorated. The texture is chewy but the downside is that it is very greasy. At $3 each its more expensive than a donut from elsewhere. read more

When I first came here I was a little skeptical because I love mochi donuts but WOW I'm glad I came here. When we entered the person who greeted us immediately acknowledged us as soon as we walked in. They don't only have donuts they also have the TikTok famous Hot Cheetos mozzarella sticks. (Definitely must try at least once) They have a pretty good selection of things to try so I have to come back! I would say their location is in a pretty good spot and their hours are pretty reasonable. The boba cups are meant for you to keep I think which I think is a nice touch! read more

I love donuts and mochi so this place is always a go-to when the cravings hit. They have a huge variety of flavors that are in circulation so not all flavors are there everyday; it changes every 4 days. I got 4 different flavors: glazed, cookies n cream, churro and raspberry funnel cake. They were all good, but the classic glazed was the best. The cookies n cream was maybe a little too much for me -- this could definitely be shared. The churro had a hint of churro flavor and it wasn't enough but still good. And the raspberry funnel cake was a bit dry and airy but also still good. I also ordered an Ube Brown sugar drink and it was just alright -- maybe next time I'll just get the ube drink. read more

OMG I'm rating this place 5 stars for numerous reasons. Mind you, I'm not big on sweets and I don't like donuts. But if they have lychee teas and HOT CHEETOS I'm there. 1-The young lady (didn't get her name) I was there on 6/16/23 @ 7:30pm if you can look back at your schedule to see what associate it was. She had black hair and had her hair in a ponytail. She was extremely sweet. BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! I hope she gets recognized. Especially for someone her age! I was shocked. She answered ALL my questions, even let my friend taste the donuts. 2-we ordered Hot Cheetos Half & Half. Which was delicious. 3-LOVED the vibe 4-LOVED the packaging of my drink. I will definitely be back & will recommend. read more
In short, Great donut shop and worth a try. With a few more details, Loved this spot. Rotating flavors but you'll always find something you like. Packaging is great and staff were nice. Seems like people rush to it at the same time bec it can get busy. The dough light and fluffy and flavors come through nicely. read more
