Decided a blueberry donut was needed to go with my blueberry coffee, so I headed over to the Donut Chain. I must admit, I was lured over by someone else's photo here on Yelp of a blueberry donut, so thank you for that ;) It was mid-morning when I arrived, so the cases reflected that the most popular items had been snatched up by the early birds, but there were still plenty of donuts and bagels to choose from. Best of all, there were still blueberry cake donuts to be had!! Donuts are similar to potato chips in that you can't just get one. I also ended up with a maple old fashioned and a raised that was dipped in maple glaze and further adorned with Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal. I'm saving the old fashioned for tomorrow (I figure of the 3, this one will do best on the second day). The blueberry cake with blueberry glaze was perfect with my morning coffee ~ I'd definitely pair these two together again! The Cinnamon Toast Crunch raised was light and fluffy, the cereal giving it a nice added crunch, and it was a much appreciated afternoon treat. The girl working the front of the store was very friendly and didn't look at me funny as I started snapping pics of the shop to go along with my review. When she finished my transaction, she went over to finish chatting with a customer. When I noticed a few ceramic coffee mugs hanging on the wall, I asked if they belonged to their regular customers. Indeed they were, one of whom she happened to be chatting with. Gotta love that! I left Donut Chain not just pleased to have scored a blueberry glazed donut, but also happy to witness the genuine, easygoing rapport that the employee and customer were enjoying. read more

Not sure if I have ever said this before, but here it goes. These are the best donuts I have ever had! They were so extremely fresh and soft and perfect in every way. They were out of maple bars which are my go to donuts but I tried a few different ones and they were all just so good! The blueberry donut was not too sweet and artificial tasting. Met a gentleman named Noah who helped assist mee. Really kind & personal. I stopped in to pick up a dozen donuts for the office. I thought the price was reasonable at $21.50, or approximately $1.79 each. That's definitely a savings compared to the cost of a single donut. I indulged in the cinnamon crumb variety, and it was so soft and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. It was definitely on the sweeter side of the spectrum, but that didn't stop me from inhaling the entire thing! The coffee was the perfect breakfast blend - so fresh and not bitter in the least. I originally wasn't looking for a donut shop but actually came here for some iced coffee because it was close by, however, they had some interesting donut flavors that you wouldn't find at any other mom and pop shop so I had to buy a couple! The front of house staff working was extremely patient with me and answered any questions I had promptly. I had a few classic donuts but the two that got me interested were the blueberry glaze and cinnamon twist donuts. They were unlike anything I've had at any other donut shop and both were great. Every single donut was fresh and very delicious! I also had a large iced coffee and that was great but a little watered down for my liking. Don't sleep on this location. I normally like this place a lot and the food is always fresh. I was disappointed because I ordered through DoorDash for a pickup and ordered a cronut but only realized it's weekends once inside the store. They cancelled it which was fine but was looking forward to it. Also the gentleman who helped me, once he knew I had a DoorDash order, was a little dismissive. I thanked him and told him to have a great day but he didn't even look at me or respond so that was a bummer. Love this place. Great local spot for donuts and breakfast croissants and sandwiches. They are always greeting you with a smile and free a donut hole for the kids (stickers too for the kiddos). Off The Chain!!! Okay - If anyone has ever read any of my reviews, I'm a donut guy. I travel all over the world and I always make a point of seeking out independent donut shops. It's a hobby and a curse. I'm not on the hunt for the best, but I love to find great spots that are known locally but overlooked by others, in favor of commercial "Big Donut" garbage donuts. When I visit customers/clients, I like to bring in donuts. As I work in manufacturing, I've yet to find a facility that turns away a few boxes of donuts. I also will never bring in the aforementioned garbage that "Big Donut" slings out to the masses. The only thing most of those are good for are slam-dunkin' right into a garbage can. When you seek out a local independent donut shop, and a good one at that, people notice. It may sound silly, but people notice this subtle attention to detail and quality. The Donut Chain was spot on. I didn't try all they had to offer because along with killer donuts, they also offer breakfast. A guy behind me ordered a breakfast sandwich. I couldn't help but think, "why?" Why, while you're in front of this large case of gorgeous delicious donuts, would anyone even think of a breakfast sandwich? I told myself that he had to eat his breakfast before a donut. Fair enough. Me - I'd rather just eat my 3 to 6 donuts and call it breakfast. Fresh and delicious, The Donut Chain did not disappoint. This will now be my go-to place in the Anaheim area. I picked up three dozen donuts for the customer location I was visiting and they loved them. One guy even noted that he was familiar with his place as that's where he and his kids get their donuts. He said that it was a little bit of a drive for them but totally worth it. There wasn't anything wrong on my first visit to this new spot. Located next to a longtime favorite (Rich Farm Ice Cream), I was happy to try out another donut place. A festive display faces the parking lot and the employees greeted me warmly. I tried a bunch of chocolate and standard donut holes. And got a couple of Christmastime donuts. And overall the experience was good. Just fine. Nothing went wrong but I wasn't blown away by the taste. This was 8:30 on a Saturday and the donuts were not especially fresh. It's good. I was looking for a local donut shop that would create a congrats arrangement for my Airbnb guest. I contacted the owners who said they'd never done anything like that but would be willing to try. I had no idea they had literally just opened a week prior. I appreciate the honesty and transparency from them. I especially appreciate the effort and art work they went above and beyond to make it happen. Forever grateful. They came through and I loved how it turned out. My guests loved it and said they were the softest & best donuts they've ever had. :) The arrangement turned out well for being their first time. Thank you Yara and team for going above and beyond. Both Yara and her husband Nathan are very personable and friendly. Their staff are sweet and helpful as well. You'll feel welcomed from the start. These donuts are soft and delicious, I keep coming back. The croissants ham & cheese (also have jalapeño) and coffee are just as good. They have fixed up the place and it looks great. They even added breakfast items to their menu. My husband and I were there on Sunday morning about 10 am and they only had a few donuts and croissants left. I love the decor of this place, it makes it more inviting. How did I not notice that this was a donut store all this time but now it's revamped. I go to Rich Farms all the time but never knew it existed. They sell really pretty customized and decorated cups and shirts here and I definitely got myself a pretty cup. I am currently not eating sugar and cutting back so sadly I wasn't able to enjoy all the things that I was thinking about getting. But good news is that they had a sugar-free donut and it wasn't bad. Cute little shop. Went here with a girlfriend that day they happened to have some super cute Taylor swift bracelet inspired donuts and some swirled heart donuts too. The staff was very welcoming and kind. Not too bad prices, they make a yummy Blueberry donut, definetly the best in this area! Hands down. I usually compare my Blueberry donut to Randy's donuts and this one did not disappoint. We messed up and forgot to try the cronut skewer that we've heard so much about. These are the best donuts around! The cronut taste like a Disneyland churro and the dough nut holes have a sweet almost buttery taste! Everything taste fresh and not oily or fried tasting. I used to love station donuts but I noticed that station has this weird aftertaste almost like baking soda flavor. Donut chain has the best aftertaste which to me is most important! Great service I've instantly become a fan of this place. I was hearing the buzz around this new shop and decided to check it out since it's just down the street. Long story short, I ended up in an elf on the shelf predicament and needed Christmas themed donuts. Unfortuantly, they didn't have any left. I asked the lady working if they had any, she confirmed they didn't, but then immediately offered to make me some. 10 mins later I was leaving with some freshly decorated Christmas themed donuts.
