I've had good service there and have been ignored there. It's a hit or miss. I guess this is a sign I shouldn't be eating a donut.

She rang my order up and went into the back to prepare the bacon, egg, and cheese croissant. It was ready a few minutes. The croissant breakfast was very good. I quickly polished it off. Followed by the maple bar. It was tasty as well. Prices were reasonable. My only complaint, if you could call it that, was the lack of selection for the donuts. But to be fair at noon a donut shop isn't likely to sell enough more in the afternoon to justify making up any additional batches. Id return, especially for the croissant breakfast sandwich.

The blueberry cake with blueberry glaze was perfect with my morning coffee ~ I'd definitely pair these two together again! The Cinnamon Toast Crunch raised was light and fluffy, the cereal giving it a nice added crunch, and it was a much appreciated afternoon treat. The girl working the front of the store was very friendly and didn't look at me funny as I started snapping pics of the shop to go along with my review. When she finished my transaction, she went over to finish chatting with a customer. When I noticed a few ceramic coffee mugs hanging on the wall, I asked if they belonged to their regular customers. Indeed they were, one of whom she happened to be chatting with. Gotta love that! I left Donut Chain not just pleased to have scored a blueberry glazed donut, but also happy to witness the genuine, easygoing rapport that the employee and customer were enjoying.

And the service seems to be pretty amazing as I wrote down the types of donuts I would like and not like so when I got the box, it was pretty spot on. Each box also came with 7 instead of 6 donuts and then a few donut holes. Gave them a call, Judy answered all my questions. Informed me if i wanted the donut the next day, deadline to order was the day b4 they close at 1 p.m. Took my payment over the phone and it was a breeze. Sierra donut only offered one size # donuts. It was really affordable too. $ 40 for the # 10 donut. If you're just needing 1 # it's $ 25. The donut was good. Fluffy, I'd probably next time request lighter on the icing. The Birthday girl was really happy w our gift to her. Something she wanted too and glad i was able to pull thru. I'll definitely return here for my # cake donuts. It's a nice simple donut shop. Unfortunately, when I got there (about mid-morning) most of the better donuts were gone. I did get a crumb donut that was very good, and a chocolate filled which also was good. I guess my problem was paying nearly $5.00 for 2 donuts, and it was at a walk up window. Coming from Oregon, and paying about $3.50 for 2 donuts, I can see why people are leaving California. Now as an adult I still stop here when in town just to taste the sweet memories. That is exactly what my wife and I did last week. I picked out a Apple Fritter that I ate so fast, I never even got a picture lol. As always there was apples in every bite. I also had to get a cinnamon roll because they are the best. The cinnamon rolls here are coated with a good amount of glaze but it isn't overly sweet so it is good. They don't skimp on the cinnamon either. My wife had a Bear Claw (her fav here) and could only eat half so I had to do my duty and finish it. The thing melts in your hand when you even pick it up. The bear claw looks big and heavy but it is light, soft, and just plain good. The apples inside are just a bonus. Prices range from .80 cents, .85 cents, .95 cents, and $1.25 for donuts. You make your purchase at the window (no inside entry) and they clearly display all the fresh donuts they have at the moment in the window. There is some seating outside if you are lucky enough to grab a spot from one of the regulars but I have eaten most of my fair share right in my own car in the parking lot.
