Julia is an outstanding bartender! My husband and I are regulars, and she always goes above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She consistently provides exceptional service and is happy to let us sample different beers before we decide, which we really appreciate. The only downside is that they're closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. We often shop nearby on those days and would love to stop in for a drink, so we'd be thrilled if those hours changed in the future. This small restaurant and bar is in Whole Foods Brea. The food menu is very small but the items look healthy. They have happy hour and specials throughout the week. We usually sit at the bar to hang out a bit before our Whole Foods run. The Buffalo wings are one of the best and the sauces are so yummy. I also enjoyed nachos and Beyond burger. The crew loves coming here on a Friday night and enjoying a few cold ones before heading home. The guys usually invite the wives and we all hang out and drink. The beauty of drinking in a grocery store is that there are plenty of options to choose from. The bar specials are always delicious such as a healthy portion of fish and chips with a beer, $1 oysters that they shuck fresh, pizza right out of the oven or the endless options of Whole Foods. The beers are always cold and the staff is always friendly. Plenty of space for the kids to run around outside when they get the wiggles and it's always a beautiful scene around the fountain. We love Erika, Julia and crystal. A-1 service. We slowed down because Taco Tuesday or carnitas were removed from menu. We average about $65 every visit some times twice a week. We would take our dog and sit in patio. We made a visit after a month and to our amazement at the direction of Grisela, the manager. There are no more dogs allowed...employees have been told keep dogs out and away. No mention of service dogs welcome, no longer dog patties, were told if you want a dog patty you can buy a $14 hamburger. Everything is an up charge, $2 for cheese and many other up charges. With tough competition nearby the NOOC no longer a friendly place. The employees are looking over there shoulder and being bound by the rules of a power hungry tirant. We now go to Julips where we are accommodated. Previous NOOC employee Adrianna had so many ideas and visions but we're probably all shut down because she left, we were told. Am I the only one that thinks a beer bar inside my grocery store is the greatest idea ever? I love this bar! It's located right next to the entrance inside Whole Foods, so even if you didn't have plans to grocery shop, You don't have to walk around the whole store to find it! They have a few tvs playing whatever sports is on, and they offer a good variety of local brews on tap. They offer specials throughout the week in addition to their happy hour specials, Mon-fri 4pm-6pm. The bartenders are always so pleasant and great at suggesting a beer you might like, if you aren't sure of what to order they do offer tiny tastings of any beer. We have been coming to this location for years and appreciated the walk with our dog, sitting in the patio and enjoying a drink and the weekly special. Not sure if under new management, but the decline in options has been gradual. From fully stock bar to just beer and wine, to removing specials that included a drink and now we are told no dogs are allowed and not to sell individual beef patties, if we ordered for our dog. I want to know if No Dogs is even legal for service dogs? I believe the bar manager is named Griselda, and so this review is for you... You need to improve your policies and bring back the type of options and services that will bring business in and not drive away. I have made a lot of visits to this Whole Foods but today was the first time I ordered from the restaurant inside the store. Order and pay at the bar, seat yourself, and food is brought out to your table. Seating options are in the bar, at the tables near the registers, upstairs, or outside, just let your order taker know where you will be. Other than bringing out your order, there is no real "table service". 5 stars for the "Pub Style" Burger w fries $12 The burger itself was better than expected. Note: I ordered a smaller kid size version $5 because I did not want to eat a huge burger, but next visit I would order the regular size. The reasons I liked the burger: the meat is grassfed and fresly ground every day, it has a great charbroiled flavor and all the toppings work together such as butter lettuce, tomato, pickled red onion, garlic aioli, bacon jam, and a locally made bun delivered daily. 2 stars for the fries: I was expecting fresh (one gal told me they were) but they were frozen and salty on the inside even though I ordered them unsalted they were still inedible for me due to the saltiness. Personally, I can't understand why they dont serve fresh but I have noticed this is common with most Whole Foods restaurants I have visited-this should be changed. They were nice enough to let me try a side salad or vegetable instead of the fries which came with my kids burger, I opted for: 4 stars brussel sprouts: which were deliciously crispy and fresh tasting but on the oily side due to them being deep fried...but they were good! It was late and wanted a quick bite and decided to try the bar/restaurant inside of the Whole Foods Market in Brea. Ordered fried calamari, Caesar salad, and some beef nachos. The calamari was a little cold but it was surprisingly still crispy. I was caught off guard with the pepperoncinis. Still Ate them. A little on the salty side but offset with the marinara sauce. The nachos were ok. The amount of meat was a tad meager for my liking. The Caesar salad was my favorite dish. The croutons were not good but my favorite part was the poached egg on top of the salad. Different. The guy working the register was nice but to get billed he has to walk to a grocery register. Sucks that he has to walk more. It was a light day so not much people around. Checked out NOOC when Whole Foods opened last Wednesday. We figured a drink and app was in order to brave the crazy crowd and that turned out to be a great idea! The NOOC is located towards the front behind the juice bar of the brand spankin' gorgeous Whole Foods. There you'll find cute little tables, comfy booths and a sexy bar. This is an order at the front kind of establishment where they give you a number that you take to your table while you anxiously wait for your food to arrive. We ordered Roasted Beet dip which was roasted scarlet beets pureed with Kite Hill chive cheese, toasted hazelnuts, Greek yogurt and za'atar spice. It was served with warm pita and tasted ummmmmmm healthy. Not sure if I would get that again. The cauliflower nachos on the other hand did not taste healthy and I would totally get those things again (as a treat since it's fried). Those puppies are billed as fried cauliflower with chiles, pico de gallo, cilantro, lime and avocado lime crema.......it's brilliant. It was Wednesday so we also got their Wednesday special which was a glass of house wine and 2 cheeses or 2 meats. That was fine. A friend that we ran into was eating the Citrus & Avocado Salad and that looked fantastic so I think next time that is what I'm going to try. I've only had their kid's cheeseburger. It's a steal at $5! It even comes with fries. The burger is no thrills, it's a nice size even for an adult. It has nice chargrilled flavor. The new Whole Foods in Brea is gorgeous! Finally, a location somewhat closer to home. My running mates and I decided to stop in for a couple of well-deserved brews after the Brea 8k. Just for being inside a grocery store, the NOOC automatically gets 4 stars from me! It's a great bar/restaurant setup with a great selection of local craft beers on tap, some special limited releases too. I had the Stone Pataskala Red IPA and Anderson Valley Blood Orange Gose. Delicious and refreshing! At $8 though, I thought was a little expensive. But hey, that's Whole Foods for ya, everything is expensive in here. I would definitely come back for their happy hour. Mon - Fri from 3pm - 6pm, and beers are only $5. Food specials too! The bartenders were awesome! Sonny, and a blonde gal were serving us that day. Both super friendly and knowledgeable about the beers they had on hand. They even offered us a few tasters to try. Great service all around. If you can't find an empty seat or table at the NOOC, you can take your beer and grub out onto the patio area or to the 2nd floor upstairs mezzanine where the wine bar is at. So ever since Whole Foods opened in Brea, the husband and I have frequented NOOC. This bar is located inside of Whole Foods where you can try an assortment of beer wine and cool bar foods. So...to order you walk up to the cashier and they'll take your order and usually get your drink to you right then. If you order food...they'll hand you a number and you can find a place to eat/drink. The super awesome part of drinking at NOOC is that you can go purchase your alcohol inside of Whole Foods (grocery store area)...such as sake...and open it up and drink it at NOOC. The vibe is chill and the servers are really nice. I have never been able to go during a happy hour but those deals look pretty awesome to me. With regards to the food choices available...I know my favorite dish to date is the Cauliflower nachos - $7 Fried cauliflower with chilis, pico de gallo, cilantro, lime, avocado lime crema. YUM YUM YUM. I haven't actually tried any of their actual plates or dishes because I always am at NOOC for just drinks and appetizers. read more

Came here for a couple beers with my brother-in-law. This place is located inside the Whole foods market immediately to the left as you enter. They have approximately 10-12 (didn't get an exact count) handles of which a good majority are sourced from local breweries. I had a couple STONE PATASKALA RED IPAs (released early February). They were great!! They are responsible here meaning, they will serve you from 8-16 ounces depending on the ABV of each beer. Great atmosphere and fun place to hang around. They also serve food here but we didn't order any food. Looking around I saw sushi being served and other appetizers but we had prior lunch plans. Would definitely stop by here without hesitation again. Sorry in advance for not posting any pictures of this place but I totally forgot to snap some while I was there. Was one of a handful of people in NOCC for the last two hours. Only after approximately one hour did someone ask me if I wanted something to eat or drink. I ordered a beer and continued to sit for another hour where I eventually paid and left. I wasn't sitting way over in the corner I was sitting in a booth immediately adjacent to the bar. On my way out I told the girl who was "working " that if someone would've simply asked me if I wanted something else to drink I would have ordered more.
