Their front of house focus is the wine bar, but they also have a good cocktail and martini menu, as well as a nice selection of food items. The interior is warm and cozy with two different seating areas. The larger front area has bar seating, quite a few tables, and a lounge area in the back corner with several couches. There is another area in the back which is smaller, and houses their cocktail bar and a number of two seat high top tables. You can order anything on the menu from either area. We sat at the bar in front for some Sunday evening cocktails and small bites. We started out with the spinach & artichoke dip ($15). The dip came out very hot, was a big portion, and was very good. However, the menu said it came with toast points, but instead it was served with tortilla chips which were just ok. The advertised toast points or fresher tortilla chips would have made this appetizer better. My first cocktail was the Limoncello Martini (vodka, fresh Limoncello, lemon juice, $15). I usually love anything lemon and this was a good martini with light lemon flavor. She started with the Purple Martin Martini (vodka, raspberry puree, pineapple, $15). This was another good martini with light sweetness from the raspberry and pineapple, not a sugar bomb. We wanted a little more food, so we ordered the Caprese flatbread ($18). It was a good size, and the dough was great. It had a good amount of cheese and tomatoes, and I really liked the balsamic drizzle on top. However, it did not come with the basil that was listed on the menu. Next, I tried the Peperoncino Martini (vodka, Italian Peperoncino brine, black pepper, extra virgin olive oil, $15). I loved this, one of the more unique martinis I've had. She liked her sip so much, she ordered her own for number three. Her second cocktail was the Carmel Apple Martini (carmel apple vodka, Licor 43, lemon, star anise, caramel cube garnish, $15). Most of the time, you would expect a caramel apple martini to be a sugar bomb, but not this one. The flavors were great with a light sweetness. And who doesn't like a caramel square treat? For my last one, I had the Cinnamon Sleigh (bourbon, cinnamon spice, maple, orange twist, $15). This was a good sipping finisher with light cinnamon notes and those great orange aromatics. KJ was our server, and she was very sweet and friendly. We came early in the evening and it was a little slow, so we chatting with her quite a bit. I'd take a half point off for the two food items not coming with the listed items, but rounded up to five stars overall. The bill had a 3% charge added for using a credit card. They have a music trivia night on Thursdays which would be fun to try. We enjoyed our first visit here, and will definitely return again.

They outsource so they have a variety of wines. We all loved it and had a great time. There was a barbecue place next door with plenty of seating and we were able to take our drinks there and enjoy some food which was also delicious. There are seats along the bar, tables for group settings and smaller round tables for more intimate gathering while sipping wine. The atmosphere is relaxed and simple not stuffy. This place offers small bites like cheese and crackers. This particular Saturday evening is open mic with local musician, Hillary, singing her best out to the crowd. The nice "impromptu song sets" really added good casual vibes to the venue. The owner is so nice and friendly--she enjoys conversing with the regular patrons. I had a good time to wind down an evening and look forward to returning to support Winery at Main Street.

Ever since then, it's become a regular spot for us. The owners Sonya and Mike are truly what make Colony special -- but so does their incredible staff. I can't say enough good things about Shalene, Molly, Camille... anyone we come in contact with is always so sweet and attentive. The wine selection speaks for itself. Sonya does a great job at bringing a rotating selection that we always enjoy. There is always a featured flight that, a great selection of white, red, and bubbles, and they even have some craft beers available as well. There is also a great selection of wine to purchase to take home with you after. But the food. Oh my, you don't just go to Colony for the wine because their food is absolutely FANTASTIC. You can't go wrong with their charcuterie, and let me tell you they have the BEST french fries in Orange County. The daily specials have never disappointed and on Tuesday nights you can't get one of the best grilled cheese around. We love visiting on Thursday nights because the owner Mike does live music on Thursdays where he sings and plays the guitar. This last year, my husband got us their wine membership which we have really enjoyed. Every other month you get a curated four wine selection and you get to come during a window to pick up your wine and you get two free flights to enjoy when you pick up. The soup had the perfect consistency of creaminess followed by savory tomato flavor. The bread was beautifully crunchy and the meat with all its toppings inside couldn't have been any better. For our drinks, we opted to do a tasting of whites and reds. The wines were selected by our host (if I recall) and remember enjoying them all. It was fun to taste not only different varietals, but wines from different parts of the world. I was especially excited to see they had a really great selection of wine bottles to purchase in their wine shop. I happened to see one of my favorite ones there. The main concept behind the bar is that sound waves are played while the whiskey ages in barrels, with each bottled whiskey supposedly differing based on the sounds used during the aging process. It is a cool story and an interesting marketing concept, but personally, it felt a little gimmicky to me. Overall, Stone Groove has a fun theme and a memorable atmosphere, but the experience itself was just okay.
