They also have happy hour Tuesdays-Thursday from 2:00-5:30pm, where they offer house wines for $5 and personal cheese board for $10. For boards, I usually get the Goldilocks specialty board, which comes with 3 cheeses ranging in texture from soft to hard. For an additional cost, you can add meat: prosciutto, salami, Spanish chorizo, or half & half of any two. For paninis, everything I've tried was very good. I've had the Signature which has a double-cream brie, pear slices, mixed greens, and fig jam. Lib Grilled Cheese comes with three premium cheese blend, grilled with olive oil, and minced garlic. I really want to like this restaurant. I have been following them on social media since the pandemic, I try to support local small businesses. My first visit was a few months ago, and I felt like I was bothering our server for water refills, napkins and other things. It was a Saturday night and while it was not packed, it took about an hour to get 2 panini's. Went today for my birthday, and my adult son told the server that the three of us were sitting on patio. Server shows up with 2 menus and 2 glasses for water. Sees me and scolds my son for not telling her that there was a third person. She brings a 3rd glass but never a 3rd menu. I specifically mention that we are here for happy hour specials. There is only 1 other table occupied, otherwise it's empty. We wait over 20 minutes to place our order. 1 personal board supposed to be $10. Plus (2) panini's. Wait another 30+ minutes... get our food and that's it. No check in - no water refills. My son goes and gets the server for a box and to order another personal board. We wait another long period to get it. I go inside to taste some cheese. We add on something to our bill. It was $104... I do some quick math and assume the price is because of the cheese I added to the bill. I add a tip on the lowish side, because we didn't really get any "service" to be worth the $18 I added onto it. I get home to review the receipt... and was charged $20 for the personal boards + the add ons... I am so let down. I spent $130 and didn't get awesome service or the happy hour discount. I was expecting to pay $50-$60 ish, and this caught me off guard. I have learned my lesson and won't be going back. The baked brie is honestly one of the best I've ever had, and I don't say that lightly. The truffle gouda is a must, and you really can't go wrong with any of the sandwiches either. I love the overall ambiance of the restaurant everything is thoughtfully designed with a charcuterie-forward aesthetic that really works. The cheeses and prosciutto were good, but the salami was a huge miss, it had a really odd, pungent aftertaste I wasn't a fan of, and never experienced that with salami in the past. It was pretty gross to be honest. Presentation was cute (loved that they packed the bread and crackers separately), but the taste overall felt pretty standard. Also, not a huge deal, but the strawberries still had their leaves on, which was kind of unappetizing. Overall, it was fine. I wanted to get a charcuterie board for Valentine's Day and after finding a few possible shops, I went with Let It Brie in downtown Fullerton. I called ahead and they said it takes about 20 minutes to make a custom order so I decided to use their online ordering system and pick it up at my leisure. A custom board starts at $19 to get the basics and then you add the meats, cheeses, and extras that you would like for $6.00 each. I went with Brie cheese, soft goat cheese, salami, Spanish chorizo, the premium honeycomb, and extra bread and crackers. It was easy to order online and I received a text message that my order was received and another when it was ready to pick up roughly 20 minutes later. Parking in DTF is often a challenge but I was able to find a spot pretty close. I walked in the front entrance and was greeted immediately. There is a big refrigerated cheese display in front along with some other products and a wine rack along the side counter. There are about four or five tables inside and a spacious outdoor patio with lots of seating in the rear. I was able to quickly pick up my order and went on my way. All of the staff had smiles on their faces and were very friendly on such a busy day. I exited out the rear door and even the gentleman on the patio said thank you. We enjoyed the custom charcuterie board and there was a lot of variety. The basics included figs & fig jam, blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, grapes, dried apricots, pickles, green olives, strawberry yogurt pretzels, and a nice assortment of nuts. The portions of cheese were reasonable as well as the amount of meat. The salami slices still had the skin on the outside which was a little inconvenient to peel off, especially on Valentine's Day. The bread and crackers come in a separate brown bag and I would definitely recommend ordering the extra size. This board as ordered was $55. It wasn't a bargain but it wasn't outrageously expensive either. I would order from here again. Let me start off by saying the food and cheese are absolutely amazing here. I've been going here since I found out it existed in 2019. I recommend everyone who tells me they love cheese to come here. That being said yesterday night I had the worst experience here. I brought two of my friends who had never been here before expecting an amazing experience only for us to be ignored the majority of the night. I had to go up to the register to order and our water was empty our entire visit. We kept seeing the waitress' serve every other table and talk to every other table except for us. My friend even asked her if she could come take our drink order and she never came. I also saw the hostess/cashier give attitude to a customer that was asking a simple question if he could sit anywhere. We sat on the back patio and ordered The Offering -- a charcuterie board for four with your choice of red wine, white wine, or beer.
