This store is just fun. They have such cute items and the prices are cheappp. It seems like they have a random selection of things. You just have to go and see what they have. I like that it's themed. There's themed areas. And lots of seasonal items. I've found so many adorable things at this store. Not necessarily things I was looking for, but rather seeing things and wanting them lol The value is great! You can buy a lot and not spend that much money. The store is always clean and well stocked. They have more cute stuff than nearby Five Below stores at reasonable prices. 1000 am, Saturday, December 20, 2025 First timer to this store Five Below! I walked in and paused to scan the store for gift bags... Yes I saw the jumbo sized ones immediately but I asked the greeter for other options. He said there were more just beyond on the left side and some on the right side... What?! That's intentional store planning to keep you wandering the store and intice shoppers to buy unintended items. Kudos to their business strategy. Not me, I'm here for only gift bags and tissue paper for the gift wrapping. I bought an assortment of bag sizes and several different style tissue papers. I think the store manager or lead was up front training-advising her employee on procedures while I approached to self checkout. There were no manned cash registers. I was out of there with only what I needed. Friendly employees at the front of the store but no interaction with those on the floor stocking items. They're not interacting with intention. Gift bags and tissue paper for gifts! Mission accomplished. The have helium balloons. Saw this as I was walking out. read more

The price and the quality of the products are reasonable and better than dollar stores. You won't be able to resist to buy at least one item before you leave the store because it is that good. For candy lovers, this is your spot. From thick hard candies to colorful powder candies, you will feel like a kid at a candy shop again. If you like home decor, they also have cute plates, candle holders, rugs, vase, etc. You're also a tech savvy? No worries, they have you covered with eye catching headphones to Bluetooth speakers. Shopping in Fullerton, California... My Los Angeles friends taught me about Five Below because we don't have this store chain in Hawaii. My niece moved to Texas for college, and I was able to take her shopping at Five Below in Houston! The merchandise might be aimed at a younger generation. There are many items for college dorms such as pillows, school supplies, house slippers, and comfy clothing. I was looking for Hello Kitty things because my friend, Mikey, posted photos of cute stickers and mugs from Ventura. Unfortunately, those might have sold out in Fullerton. I did find ukuleles, playing cards, and headphones. I'll have to go back to another Five Below since the headphones fit six-year-olds and are not adjustable... LOL! It was a fun experience! I enjoyed looking at the candy, books, Barbie toys, Funko Pop, and pet supplies! Self checkout went smoothly. I was offered a shopping bag for 35 cents, but I have my own... thanks! read more

First time checking out this store; very impressed by the selections and staff here are friendly. There are some interesting individuals, but it's not the store's fault. There is plenty of parking in the plaza and the store is open and organized. We got some Christmas presents here; some of the items are in good quality but with much less cost. And.....guess what? Practically everything in the store is around $5 & below! I guess that's why they named it "Five Below!" Very clever!!! I know these stores have been around for a while but I had not stepped foot in any of them until today. As I walked in the store the young girl greeted me. The store is filled with so many things and of course $5 below. They also have a several items that are a little over $5. There are many items that can be stocking stuffers for the children. I've never heard of Five Below until they opened this location up after tearing down the local Chuck E. Cheese. This is your typical discount store with most items under $5 besides some of the tech items that may be around $6 or $7. They have things from basic household appliances, pool floaties, board games, clothes, candy, and more. You'll receive better service here over your competitors like The Dollar Tree, 99 Cent Store, and the rest. Place just opened up but it's really clean and fairly spacious. I came to buy the 6-inch disco balls as a part of a centerpiece decoration for my husband's birthday. I was warmly greeted by Selah immediately when I walked in and she brought me to where they were displayed when I asked where I could find them. She asked if I would like a basket and would get me one if needed. She helped me at check-out and even turned-around to give me privacy so I could enter the PIN number when I paid with my card! Manager(Maybe?)was surprisingly so rude when I made a return. She got upset because people buy from other five below and return at her store which brings their ratings? Down or something. It was just a very weird thing to bring up to a customer. Like ok lady I'm sorry that I was close by and wanted to return my items here. I've never had a store tell me this before and frankly it was so unprofessional. It's like she wanted me to feel bad? I try to avoid this five below especially since they lock their items and it takes 20 minutes to get help because they can't leave the self check out area. First visiting one of these stores. Didn't find what I was looking for. But then again, considering it's an item that blew up on Tiktok I should have known better. However, we did find several other items that were decently priced. And I have to say....the Best part was once we got to the registers to pay. Incorrectly taxed on food items. Purchased two items dog dental spray and a bag of chips. Went to the self check out and scanned in my items. Noticed after getting my receipt that the bag of chips was taxed with the dog dental spray. Food items are typically not taxed in California so I brought it up to the two ladies that were working near the register. Told them food items should not be taxed and the only item that should be taxed is the dental spray. One of the ladies said all items are taxed even food. I told her mainly hot cooked prepared food is taxed not things like chips. Told them I guarantee that if I go to Amazon fresh next door and bought chips I would not be taxed. One of the ladies kept saying food it taxed. The other lady said cant take it off as the system is set up to tax food items. So I returned the chips and walked next door Amazon fresh to buy a bag of chips and one hot food item. And there the receipt correct shows only the hot-food item was taxed (sandwich) and the Aplenty chips was not. The math should be at five below should be as follows: $3 (dental spray) X 1.0775 (sales tax) = $3.23 + $3.50 (food item chips) for a total of $6.73. I was charged $7 which is incorrect. This is exactly how Amazon fresh system correctly charged me by only charge tax on the one hot food item and not the chips. Buyer beware when buying food items at five below you should not be charged for tax on them you are being over taxed for your items. Gave them two stars as the ladies were very nice amd professional but not quite informed as what should and should not be taxed. read more
