This store is always great to kill time, buy party gifts and grab snacks whenever you are around this area. Conveniently located next to Costco, Amazon Fresh and AMC theater, many people including myself enjoy exploring fun and fresh new items that you will not find anywhere else. The price and the quality of the products are reasonable and better than dollar stores. You won't be able to resist to buy at least one item before you leave the store because it is that good. For candy lovers, this is your spot. From thick hard candies to colorful powder candies, you will feel like a kid at a candy shop again. If you like home decor, they also have cute plates, candle holders, rugs, vase, etc. You're also a tech savvy? No worries, they have you covered with eye catching headphones to Bluetooth speakers. Did you say make-up? Brushes, hair blow dryers, eyeshadows, mascaras, etc., they have it all. All the products are organized and displayed very well and the shelves are clean. Their customer service is excellent and they offer self check-out so don't miss this cool store.

Shopping in Fullerton, California... My Los Angeles friends taught me about Five Below because we don't have this store chain in Hawaii. My niece moved to Texas for college, and I was able to take her shopping at Five Below in Houston! The merchandise might be aimed at a younger generation. There are many items for college dorms such as pillows, school supplies, house slippers, and comfy clothing. I was looking for Hello Kitty things because my friend, Mikey, posted photos of cute stickers and mugs from Ventura. Unfortunately, those might have sold out in Fullerton. I did find ukuleles, playing cards, and headphones. I'll have to go back to another Five Below since the headphones fit six-year-olds and are not adjustable... LOL! It was a fun experience! I enjoyed looking at the candy, books, Barbie toys, Funko Pop, and pet supplies! Self checkout went smoothly. I was offered a shopping bag for 35 cents, but I have my own... thanks!

Couldn't resist these beer flavour Jelly Belly jelly beans! Available at "Five Below." :)

While visiting a loved one at nearby St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton, my cell phone's battery was quickly depleting & I suddenly realized I'd forgotten my charger at home during the unplanned rush out the door. At this point, I wasn't choosy --- I just needed a new cell phone charger....."STAT!" After checking Yelp for stores in the local area, I decided to make a quick trip down Harbor Boulevard to "Five Below." Although I had seen posts from a few fellow yelpers about "Five Below," I wasn't really familiar with this not-so-hidden-gem...until now. For the uninitiated, "Five Below" is a chain of discount stores featuring a variety of items including: classic & novelty candies; fitness & yoga gear; tech supplies (e.g., cell phone chargers, accessories, ear buds, etc.); toys; inexpensive beauty supplies; snack foods & drinks; party supplies; clothing; basic household goods; school supplies; seasonal items; and much more. And.....guess what? Practically everything in the store is around $5 & below! I guess that's why they named it "Five Below!" Very clever!!! With its super friendly & helpful associates who are more than happy to help you locate items & even assist you with their self-check-out only concept (if you need it), this new clean well-lit Fullerton location of "Five Below" is a cool place to browse, & a nice alternative to a typical dollar-type store. I ended up getting a reasonably priced cell phone charger that works great, along with a few other surprise treats! If you've never visited "Five Below," be sure to check them out --- you never know what fun items you may find!

I know these stores have been around for a while but I had not stepped foot in any of them until today. As I walked in the store the young girl greeted me. The store is filled with so many things and of course $5 below. They also have a several items that are a little over $5. There are many items that can be stocking stuffers for the children. Definitely impressed! The store itself was clean and neat, no random items everywhere. So this will be your spot to buy some holiday gifts! Highly recommended!!!

Went next door to Amazon Fresh. Receipt showing chips not taxed and hot food taxed in contrary to what staff at five below told me.

The plaza has plenty of parking and houses a few other ethnic restaurants and spas, so it's very easy to get to during a Disneyland trip. Inside, there are tons of stuff from the Levant, spices, halal gummies, imported chocolates, homemade Dubai chocolate, and a huge selection of Turkish delights and roasted nuts made by them. They also have a wide variety of baklava and fresh knafeh right there ready to cut, which is a sweet cheese dessert with a fun kataifi crunch. The gentleman who helped me was very kind, though there was a slight language barrier. He let me try a bunch of nuts when I inquired - and I sort of had to, since several varieties were unlabeled, or just had a sign for what they were, or what the flavor was, but not vice versa. The nuts were good and seemed like a good and healthy snack to bring into a theme park or to have at home. I thought the flavors I tried were hard to distinguish from another after a while, and subtle. I had the fresh Dubai chocolate and thought it was pretty nice, distinctly bitter, nutty, moist, with tons of fresh kataifi crunch. You do have to keep it refrigerated though, as I assume it's made with ingredients that wouldn't hold well together at room temperature - typically a better sign in terms of paleo diets if you've ever made paleo chocolates for yourself. It's a bit atypical from other Dubai chocolate as the filling quantity here is uniquely generous. It's very rare to see a cute, almost timeless shop like this, containing lots of traditional and authentic goods. Would enjoy revisiting to try their coffee and the nearby food.

Bonus fun - they have glass walls so you can see the candy makers working their magic. Although I don't eat them, I love the Disneyland caramel apples and watching them being decorated. The inventive themes of caramel apples over the years have been awe inspiring! Creative ideas come out in their culinary art, for sure. Cupcakes, toffee, cake pops, bags of popcorn and so many other treats are available here. Theme goods change with the seasons and events so it's fun keeping an eye on what's new & fun at the Candy Palace. The Churro Toffee is viral and hot, but it's honestly not one of my favorites, sorry internets. I loveeeeee their cake pops though and they're way more kawaii. You can also give me one of their themed cupcakes any day and I'll chomp those things up. Also love their decorated sugar cookies which can also be super cute depending on the season!
