Shopping in Fullerton, California... My Los Angeles friends taught me about Five Below because we don't have this store chain in Hawaii. My niece moved to Texas for college, and I was able to take her shopping at Five Below in Houston! The merchandise might be aimed at a younger generation. There are many items for college dorms such as pillows, school supplies, house slippers, and comfy clothing. I was looking for Hello Kitty things because my friend, Mikey, posted photos of cute stickers and mugs from Ventura. Unfortunately, those might have sold out in Fullerton. I did find ukuleles, playing cards, and headphones. I'll have to go back to another Five Below since the headphones fit six-year-olds and are not adjustable... LOL! It was a fun experience! I enjoyed looking at the candy, books, Barbie toys, Funko Pop, and pet supplies! Self checkout went smoothly. I was offered a shopping bag for 35 cents, but I have my own... thanks!

Couldn't resist these beer flavour Jelly Belly jelly beans! Available at "Five Below." :)

While visiting a loved one at nearby St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton, my cell phone's battery was quickly depleting & I suddenly realized I'd forgotten my charger at home during the unplanned rush out the door. At this point, I wasn't choosy --- I just needed a new cell phone charger....."STAT!" After checking Yelp for stores in the local area, I decided to make a quick trip down Harbor Boulevard to "Five Below." Although I had seen posts from a few fellow yelpers about "Five Below," I wasn't really familiar with this not-so-hidden-gem...until now. For the uninitiated, "Five Below" is a chain of discount stores featuring a variety of items including: classic & novelty candies; fitness & yoga gear; tech supplies (e.g., cell phone chargers, accessories, ear buds, etc.); toys; inexpensive beauty supplies; snack foods & drinks; party supplies; clothing; basic household goods; school supplies; seasonal items; and much more. And.....guess what? Practically everything in the store is around $5 & below! I guess that's why they named it "Five Below!" Very clever!!! With its super friendly & helpful associates who are more than happy to help you locate items & even assist you with their self-check-out only concept (if you need it), this new clean well-lit Fullerton location of "Five Below" is a cool place to browse, & a nice alternative to a typical dollar-type store. I ended up getting a reasonably priced cell phone charger that works great, along with a few other surprise treats! If you've never visited "Five Below," be sure to check them out --- you never know what fun items you may find!

I know these stores have been around for a while but I had not stepped foot in any of them until today. As I walked in the store the young girl greeted me. The store is filled with so many things and of course $5 below. They also have a several items that are a little over $5. There are many items that can be stocking stuffers for the children. Definitely impressed! The store itself was clean and neat, no random items everywhere. So this will be your spot to buy some holiday gifts! Highly recommended!!!

Went next door to Amazon Fresh. Receipt showing chips not taxed and hot food taxed in contrary to what staff at five below told me.

I asked the barista for recommendations, and he absolutely delivered. The coffee did not disappoint! My SIL ordered the Spanish Latte, and I went with the Original Jerusalem--both were delicious. We asked how to combine eating knafeh and other delicious food with our coffee and were suggested to buy them first at the bakery and store next door. Our Sada Coffee was full of flavor and a good match with the knafeh... I tried one of the Turkish Delight and that one worked well. 8/10. Pro tip? Come in at around 5 or 6pm when many of the items are still available, including the ice cream. Coffee place is small, the tables and chairs are super practical but small to fit all the goodies. Nice service as well.

As soon as you walk in, the smell with the amazing aroma of freshly made candies and chocolates is fantastic, and, you feel like walking into an old fashioned candy store that has been around for years! Candy Palace and Candy Kitchen offers many types of delicious treats such as fudge, caramel apples, cookies, plus many other candies covered in chocolate. My personal favorite to get is the chocolate covered marshmallow on a stick. It has been a part of my experience for so long that I now find myself stopping before leaving the park to grab one and take back to the hotel for after or to save for later in the evening. When you bite into the marshmallow, it is soft and fluffy on the inside, and when you bite through the chocolate on the outside, it is a deliciously perfect way to finish your day at the Disneyland Resort! I do enjoy visiting Pooh Corner as well, which is another candy store within the park offering a variety of candies and sweet treats as they make them in the store! Together both of these stores provide many options in case you're looking for something sweet while you are visiting the theme park! Candy Palace and Candy Kitchen is one of those classic Disneyland attractions that I always look forward to each time I go to the park! Watching the candy makers prepare their treats behind the counter or simply purchasing a sweet treat before leaving the park is an enjoyable experience and is a amazing way to spend the day at Disneyland!
