I can't express this enough, this place is amazing. I've lived in OC for almost my whole life and it's always sad to see smaller businesses you love slowly disappear so it makes so happy every time I'm in the outlets seeing this sweets shop still open. Their customer service has always been the best, they always have unique and tasty treats in abundance but it's the fact that they go above and beyond for their customers that I'm writing this. This past weekend I was in the store just looking around getting some snacks with my girlfriend and sometime later, she realized her keychain had fallen off her bag. I called all the other stores that we had stopped at and it either took 10 minutes just to speak with someone only to be told they didn't have it after many a minute of looking or they simply did not answer. Sweets from Heaven was not only the only store to take down my number and name, but when they find it, they immediately sent me a text letting me know!! I already loved this place for the many great experiences I had here over the years but to take something that would have otherwise be treated with little to no care elsewhere be treated with such importance and care is just special to me, so if you're ever in town and want to support a business that truly care for its customers, have a great atmosphere to it, and genuinely has some of the best variety & quality of treats, please do yourself a favor and stop by here! read more

I bought a dippin dots for my niece and then my friend proceeded to buy one after and the employee said "that's why i f****** asked before" under her breath. Here's an updated review of Sweets From Heaven, based entirely on my honest opinion, though I was generously gifted some candy, it hasn't influenced my thoughts. The owner, Wynter, kindly reached out after sourcing a new brand for the Sour Cherry Cola gummies. I was gifted both the Sour Cherry Cola gummies and Cherry Sour Balls to try. The new gummies are from Gustaf's, a brand I recently discovered, and they're a big upgrade from the previous ones sold here. The old version wasn't bad, but Gustaf's does the cherry cola flavor and texture much better. I also grabbed some candy Pacifiers, which were just as good as I remembered from the '90s! I used to LOVE Sweets From Heaven! I would come here all the time after high school and get a little bag with mixed sweets. Today I was thinking I wanted to get a nice assortment, and my style is "a little bit of everything". Get a couple gummy sharks, a few sour belts, some chocolate covered things, some jelly beans, etc. For the first time in too long, we made the trip back out for this! Needless to say I was quite disappointed to see they don't have scoopable candy anymore, but instead all of it is pre-portioned into 1/4 cup sized bags. So instead of a variety of things, I was only reasonably going to get maybe 4 different things. The small bags are priced about $4-$8 each but you don't know the exact price until you check out. So my 3 different candies cost $16. I love what I got (pear Jelly Belly, gummy cola bottles, and strawberry cream licorice). But for the price and lack of customizable bags, I've got to dock from the rating. I will find a candy store that still let's me scoop the amount I want. This place is nice if you want one or two things, but if you want a big bag of candy this isn't it. Staff was friendly, service is minimal since they just help you pay, but our cashier was helpful with some questions we had. read more

Staff: Winter helped us and she was great. So nice and welcoming which was very much appreciated. Quality/Quantity: Wow, they have a ton of selection here of various candies! My favorite thing is they have the individual measured bags of candy vs loose candy that you scoop into a bag. I asked Winter and she shared it was done during Covid and maintained. This is brilliant as it minimizes the touching and breathing on of candy. This made me very happy to hear. Value: Fair. We grabbed 2 different candies. I came here because I wanted to go to a candy store where I could select a small amount of different candies. Everything is already packaged out so you cannot choose how much you want. This defeated the purpose of coming to a candy shop vs just going to the grocery store. For being prepackaged it just seems really expensive and not at all nostalgic. read more

Hubby was so excited to see this candy shop still at this outlet. He's had very fond memories from his high school days picking up candy from here. We decided to pick up some treats since we didn't want to leave the outlet empty-handed. All of the candy are now pre-packaged, but you still pay by weight. We picked up a small pack of the Cheeto Asteroids (since I haven't had the chance to try it since it discontinued 2 decades ago), blue sour belts, and chili mango. Our total came out to be about $14, which is pricey. Upon tasting the items, we were very disappointed. The chili mango did not taste fresh. The mango was tough to the bite and the chili powder used tasted like it was left out longer than it should. As for the blue sour belts, they were a bit more redeeming. The texture of the sour belt was good, and the blue raspberry flavor was there, but it was just a bit too sweet than it is sour. We had to shake off some of the excess sugar in order to enjoy the sour belt. Overall, our experience here was okay. Quality of the candy was not the best, but we enjoyed the experience of picking out our candy and letting hubby live out his childhood for a bit. read more

There's something about candy stores that instantly takes me back to my youth, and Sweets from Heaven really captures that magic. I was at the outlets for a different event with some friends, but I had to stop by this shop once I saw it. I had the chance to speak with the owner, and she was really kind, welcoming, and helpful. I was on a mission to find my sour cherry coke bottles and I was happy to learn that they carried that. All of the candy is individually bundled, which keeps things clean. Candy shops like this are such a treat (pun intended) and I always do what I can to support them. I haven't been inside this store in forever. The last time I came in here I believe I was still in high school. I'm so glad that this place is still open, it's a pretty huge candy store for being at the block. I came in here yesterday needing to complete my sweet tooth for some popcorn jelly beans my favorite of all time and I had grabbed so much. I'm such a sucker for it most people don't like it but I love it so much ! In here you can find whatever candy you want they have everything from jelly beans, to gummies , anything that is chocolate covered or chocolate by itself & they have jaw breakers which I'll never eat but there's just so much different kind of candies to choose from ! They also carry little cute stuff dolls and peez I believe they have some teeny babies as well for whoever that loves teeny babies. Sweet treats. Lots of flavors and selections. Kid paradise. Every popular candy or sweet filling you can think of. Hygenically super clean. Wiping handles and signs "not" to take samples on every nook and cranny of this place helps. Attendants rotating the gummy candy because of the weather and to keep it from sticking to each other. Location is bright and colorful. They have it themed in areas of the store almost like Disney does theirs. Candy is organized by group and colors by the rainbow pattern. Great and beautiful well thought of planning and structure. Makes for a seamless shopping experience. The eyes and wonder alone from shoppers was great to see. Candy stores should learn from this place. And model after it. Kudos for a great experience in a beautiful and well kept mall. Rude staff. We are ADULTS. We asked if we could sample some thing a because we hadn't tasted them before or wanted to know if things were fresh and the employee said just to let her know whatever we wanted to try. We each tried one, but wanted to try something else and she now decided to add tat it was one sample per person. I would understand if it was some kids just trying to get free candy, but we were clearly buying candy. The prices are clearly meant to be misleading, sign says 7.99 in large print, and half a pound in small print. I wouldn't mind the price if I was allowed to sample, like a normal candy shop, and if they staff wasn't rude and clearly more interested with the conversation they were having with their coworker before. Won't be a customer again. Movie theater candy is a better buy here, or go to a candy shop in downtown Disney where they care about your business. read more

Horrible --- rude staff -- very arrogant and mean -- my son wanted a stuffed animal that was marked $6.99 but rang up for $7.99 -- the cashier (I believe her name was Liberty) was rude and pompous -- she would not honor the $1 difference!! I asked for the manager who was even more rude than the cashier!! Eventually I got my $1 back but with so much attitude! How does the owner hire these horrible employees to work a candy shop that caters to kids??? Ild rather go buy candy from Walgreens then deal with these 2 horrid and wretched "women" EVER again!!!!!!! This place is better than Sweet Factory. If you like Jelly Beans, they have a huge selection!! My favorites are the special edition gummi bears. They have rare flavors like pineapple, peach, etc. Get the pineapple ones, they're amazing. They also make it pretty obvious that they don't tolerate sampling. The place is plastered with 'please do not sample' signs everywhere. The staff is not very professional; they're these i-hate-the-world type of teenage girls. Oh well.
