A small shop for these candies, super nice and welcoming. We had come across MexiCali Candy at the 626 Night Market and the service there was great there and here! I believe another of the owners was helping us out there and at this shop, her husband was ringing us up. He was answering all our questions and gave us samples as well along with recommendations. It was a great experience and we will likely be heading back when our candies are out... perhaps to try another flavor alongside Fiesta! Savady, co-owner of MexiCali Candy with her husband, is truly the brain behind the chamoy candies! She's nice and really proud of her products and flavors. I absolutely love the chunky Mango Spicy and the Sting Mango -- they're next level. There are many flavors like spicy starburst, skittle and tamarind and three sizes to choose from. The gushers are okay because I don't like the liquid bust, but those jars? SO cute and totally reusable. Obsessed! read more

It's been a little while since I last visited MexiCali Candy, so I wanted to jump on here with an updated review. I love the Fireballs (tamarind) from here. They are soft, chewy, and packed with flavor. While I have tried other candies and liked it, I only come back for the Fireballs because they are my favorite. Their candy was pretty pricey from what I remembered, but it has gone up and it costs $15 for the large jar and I must say, it's expensive. However, they are the only ones who make them so good, so I'll come back here and there whenever I have a huge craving. Keep in mind that they charge a $1 fee if you want to use a credit card, so bring cash if you want to avoid the fee. read more

Love it!! Stumbled upon this candy store! I wasn't sure what to except really. I told my husband that I want to try some candy lol Long story short, we ended up trying a couple samples, and I wanted the candy wheel. The wheel has gusherz, tamarind fireballz, strawberry beltz, watermelon patch, mango con chile, mango strawz. The gushers and tamarind are my favorite! They are so yummy. The mango is too spicy for me lol I can't handle spice though. My husband and I love the candy. We will be back sometimes sooner for more! I've been buying candy from this business since the very beginning -- back when they were literally selling out of their garage. I have a thing for mexican candy so my husband brought me here. The nice girl let us sample a whole bunch of different goodies. And honestly everything was really good. I like that they had a bunch of different varieties and they sell in many different sizes. They are really nice here and answered all our questions. We went with the pineapple, gushers, and fireballs. The fireballs are my absolute favorite because I like things extra spicy and sour. But I love them all. We got a jar of their small ones which are $6 each. MexiCali takes only debit cards over $20. No credit card. I cannot wait to order from them again. read more

First of all, love the name! Secondly!! Love that there's so many options of chamoy-- they even have a pickle chamoy!?! I'm not a big fan of pickles, but I definitely want to try it. So anyway, it's located in a pretty decent spot! MexCali has their own corner but it's a behind the businesses in the front. Easy to spot and there was of plenty parking spaces on a Friday afternoon. Service was great, but I didn't catch the name of the person who helped us. He was friendly, provided a good number of samples of the batches he had available and was patient while we were letting the flavors marinate in our mouths ahah. The chamoy has good, tarty flavor with a hint of spiciness. I liked that the chamoy candy wasn't gooey and that it didn't stick to my teeth! We ended up getting the strawberry patch (sinklar to the watermelon patch), skittles, mango strip/straw-shaped, sour rings, and tamarind! I really liked their tamarind chamoy and the mango strip/straw-shaped chamoy! (Most popular)! I do want to mention they have dehydrated mangos chamoy, which was also really good! I felt healthy eating it because it was real fruit lmao. If you want to get a variety, they also have the fiesta mix which includes the candy belt, gusher, gummy worms and I think skittles. Will definitely come back and hopefully they have the pickle one!! read more

The pickle is wrapped in fruit by the loop, chamoy and tajin (at the price of $7) The pickle was good, a little bit of sweet, salty and sour. I have been here sporadically since a little after covid era and have never had a bad experience. Depending on how much you like candy, it's worth it!! They're seasoned with care, not overly salty, sour or sweet, and not overly wet and sticky like someone just poured tajin & chamoy on it and called it a day. There was a point I tried recreating these bc I was hooked and I failed. To get it as dry (as it can be) and perfect as these is not something that can be done in a few hours w/ whatever I have at home. The one and only time I have had an issue was with the Gushers - as you see in reviews, the Gushers are fickle and you should keep them chilled. They were nice enough to let me exchange it. I think it'd be helpful if they added disclaimers before or during purchasing certain candies especially with how hot it is lately. I've only ever seen this happen in reviews (and to me) w/ the Gushers and I have not had it w/ the fireballs, strawberry belts, nerds. read more

They have a decent selection of all types of candies. The staff is very friendly and offered us samples of what they had available. I love the selections that they have from the tamarind balls to strawberry strips. Such a large variety list and a small is a decent amount. You get to sample the candy and I feel like I can stand there and eat them all! Definitely a try place to go read more

The plaza has plenty of parking and houses a few other ethnic restaurants and spas, so it's very easy to get to during a Disneyland trip. Inside, there are tons of stuff from the Levant, spices, halal gummies, imported chocolates, homemade Dubai chocolate, and a huge selection of Turkish delights and roasted nuts made by them. They also have a wide variety of baklava and fresh knafeh right there ready to cut, which is a sweet cheese dessert with a fun kataifi crunch. The gentleman who helped me was very kind, though there was a slight language barrier. He let me try a bunch of nuts when I inquired - and I sort of had to, since several varieties were unlabeled, or just had a sign for what they were, or what the flavor was, but not vice versa. The nuts were good and seemed like a good and healthy snack to bring into a theme park or to have at home. I thought the flavors I tried were hard to distinguish from another after a while, and subtle. I had the fresh Dubai chocolate and thought it was pretty nice, distinctly bitter, nutty, moist, with tons of fresh kataifi crunch. You do have to keep it refrigerated though, as I assume it's made with ingredients that wouldn't hold well together at room temperature - typically a better sign in terms of paleo diets if you've ever made paleo chocolates for yourself. It's a bit atypical from other Dubai chocolate as the filling quantity here is uniquely generous. It's very rare to see a cute, almost timeless shop like this, containing lots of traditional and authentic goods. Would enjoy revisiting to try their coffee and the nearby food.

Their customer service has always been the best, they always have unique and tasty treats in abundance but it's the fact that they go above and beyond for their customers that I'm writing this. This past weekend I was in the store just looking around getting some snacks with my girlfriend and sometime later, she realized her keychain had fallen off her bag. I called all the other stores that we had stopped at and it either took 10 minutes just to speak with someone only to be told they didn't have it after many a minute of looking or they simply did not answer. Sweets from Heaven was not only the only store to take down my number and name, but when they find it, they immediately sent me a text letting me know!! I already loved this place for the many great experiences I had here over the years but to take something that would have otherwise be treated with little to no care elsewhere be treated with such importance and care is just special to me, so if you're ever in town and want to support a business that truly care for its customers, have a great atmosphere to it, and genuinely has some of the best variety & quality of treats, please do yourself a favor and stop by here!

She asked the only employee that was there if she can have help because she attempted to bring them out and and they started to go everywhere and tangling, the person replied that they had no one to help.. because the balloons where not done in a timely manner they arrived after our guest had started arriving at the event.
