Located in a run down strip mall, Cask & Hammer is a little divey bar where locals go for a drink. They have an extensive beer menu but surprisingly no Golden Road on the menu the day I went. It's a bit dark in here but that's okay for the vibe it's going for. Definitely not a first date kind of place. They have pool table in the back and beer is cold. All in all, not a bad place to grab a beer and relax on a weekday. read more

This is a great local spot. They have a respectable selection of brews. From sours to IPAs. They have snack food options, I have not tried them. I usually end up there AFTER I've had dinner. The bartenders are nice and serve well. Our favorite is Amy, because she gives off a groovy Goth feel. Also, when she is there, the music is very aligned to my tastes. I recently visited Cask & Hammer to watch a Lakers game and had a very enjoyable experience. It was a quiet night with only one bartender but he was quick and friendly with everyone. They didn't have the wings, but the fries and tater tots were good. They seem to offers various specials and hosts a trivia night on Tuesdays, which adds to its appeal. The ambiance is nice, the lighting is dark, and there are plenty of seats inside and a small outdoor seating in the front. read more

Local dive meets Taproom. If you want a draft craft beer this is the spot to go to. This bar is in a strip mall however has a small outdoor patio on the parking lot (reminiscent of the pandemic when everyone did outdoor dining). The outdoor patio is great as inside is not that big. Probably was a dive bar in its past life with mostly bar seating and high tables along the wall. There is a decent pool table in the bag and a few TVs. The Beer: as discussed this is more of a taproom for craft beer which I enjoy. There craft beer selection features shy under 30 beers including a few non craft options such as Michelob, Pacifico, modelo. Options rotate a lot! So much so that once I find something I like it's gone when I return in a week. A lot of IPAs and Seltzer options given the trends these days. Personally I like wheat and light beers but feel those options are slightly limited here. They do have house beers that do get a happy hour special. Unfortunately I do not know when that is, hope another review has it. It is a nice clean space perfect for hanging out with friends. Service here is fair. When it's slow it does feel very slow but then again it's more of a taproom vibe than a dive bar for me. You can always count on another drink whenever you need it though. read more

Came here for a date night last Sunday, and we had a lot of fun! It's not too busy on Sundays, so it feels like we have the place for ourselves. We ordered 2 Moscow mules (perfectly mixed), and we played Jenga and pool. It's $2.00 to play pool, and you can get change from the bartender. The bathroom is small but clean; tables are clean; music plays all night, but you can also pay to choose your own song. They have an outdoor patio and free parking. I'm not a beer person but my boyfriend is so this place is perfect for us. Came during a Friday night and it wasn't too pack but a good amount of people. There's outdoor patio and inside bars and tables. They also have a pool table which is pretty cool. My boyfriend got a light beer called radiant so clear and pure and I got a black cherry sour. The bartender recommended the black cherry because it is sweet and tart. The sour was not bad it was pretty good even my boyfriend liked it as well. I wasn't fan of his beer since I'm not really a beer drinker. My drink was 9$ and his drink was 7$ Overall this place is not bad to come, chat, chill and get a drink. We were able to have a conversation since the music wasn't too loud. The only downside was that it gets pretty hot in there like there's no ac and the front door entrance is open. read more

I remember we stopped by once at this local beer bar long time ago. We came in on a Sunday afternoon and it was just one bartender and another customer at the bar. The beer selections were huge and a lot of Stouts and IPAs to choose from. Hubby had a coffee Stout as usual and I chose a hoppy IPA. Both brews were tasty. They are serving snack food now cause it was the only way to stay open during pandemic. I tried jalapeño poppers which were really good. Our bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable about the beers they served. I had a hazy triple IPA later which was fantastic. I think I will always order this whenever we come here. Place was starting to get crowded late Sunday afternoon. They have some games and pool table to play so it was good for groups. Had a visit today to pass the time will waiting to get my nails done. I usually enjoy the experience but the last few times I have gone in here I have had a negative experience with the bartender. She just seems really angry and does not seem to enjoy her job. Today, she was too busy talking to her friend, so she had me doing her job. To place my order, I had to go down to the far end of the bar so she could take my order and told me to clean up my own table after I finished eating. She never left her spot where she stood talking to her friend. When I made a comment about after she demanded I bus my own table, she was very quick to loudly ask me what did I say like she was going to bully me into apologizing or backing down. Yes, I'm sorry I interrupted your hang out time with your friend while you were at work. It's really unfortunate because I really do enjoy this bar. It usually has a really laid back atmosphere, but anytime I see that bartender, I become uncomfortable and don't want to stay because I'm not sure what new way she will be rude for no reason. Thank you Pauline for ensuring that when people see you we want to walk right back out. I can see this isn't the only complaint received about you. I really hope something is done as some point because she is single handedly scaring away patrons. read more

I lived about 1 mile away from here, so I would very much frequent here, multiple times a week, with friends, coworkers, loved ones, etc. It was always a good time here, and you will always catch me sitting at the bar!
