We got this place at random on a Thursday night not originally what we had planed. I enjoyed the quiet and relaxing atmosphere considering it was a game night so there was not sports team hollering or loud rooting for teams. Great drinks and the beef shawarma quesadillas were great.

This speakeasy was such a hidden gem. The ambiance was cozy, moody, and incredibly romantic, making it the perfect spot for a night out. They had the space beautifully set up for Valentine's Day weekend, which was such a thoughtful and charming touch. What truly made the experience unforgettable, though, was the exceptional customer service. I believe we were helped by the owner, and he was beyond kind and accommodating; going above and beyond, even though we arrived after our reservation time during one of the busiest hours. That level of hospitality is rare and so appreciated. Our server was also wonderful, attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming throughout the night. The drinks were pretty good as well and complemented the overall vibe perfectly. Between the atmosphere, the service, and the care put into the experience, this place really stands out. We felt taken care of from start to finish and would absolutely return.

Date night spot! Been here twice on a Friday and love the lay out! Has a mid low lighting with classy but vintage looking furniture gives it a speakeasy look and vibe but have a full bar and live music! Real relaxed welcoming vibe here. Pricing is moderate and reasonable for the location and after you can still visit other local spots after! Service was great real attentive staff! And the food was great good quality!

Tucked inside Les Amis, Chapter 4 has a more upscale lounge feel with a wide whiskey selection. Parking structures are nearby, so it's not hard to find a spot. The vibe inside is very dark, but in a moody, stylish way that fits the space. Our server was friendly and welcoming from the start. I ordered the espresso martini with whiskey--really well balanced, smooth, and not overly sweet. The best part was the presentation: served in a wide, stemless glass that was inserted into a piece of wood. Super unique and fun. I don't remember all the drinks my friends ordered, but everyone enjoyed theirs. They also bring out a complimentary snack mix that was surprisingly good. Drinks are on the pricier side but fair for the ambiance and quality. Definitely a spot I'd come back to and slowly make my way through the rest of the cocktail menu.

DTF isnt what it used to be but it was nice to stumbled upon this cute little craft cocktail bar. It is connected to their sister family restaurant by an archway and can be confusing when looking for bathroom. Inside this quite elegant and classy with low lighting. The are couches and regular table seating. I have done the bar and couch seating. I like the bar better. Easy to see their liquor collection and see the cocktail making in action. The drinks i had were pretty good. My favorite was their version of espresso martini. Service was also attentive. Sad they close early. Overall not bad

Went on a whim and so glad I did. Talk about a hidden gem! I'll get it out of the way and say the drinks are excellent. The bartenders know what they are doing and you can tell they genuinely love and take their time with their craft. You can't go wrong with anything you order. The ambiance is also really nice, it's very intimate and moody, definitely a great place for a date but very much can be for socializing with friends. I'm not sure if they have live music most nights but they had an amazing jazz singer. Just know since it's live music it can get loud but it's an enjoyable loud. The service was excellent too. Genuinely a great place all around and is highly highly recommended.

Great vibe at this place. Emily served us and she was good. She was not only so cute, but very informative. Gave the rundown on the menu for us first timers. We didn't eat because we just came from a restaurant. This is a place where I'll definitely come back to.

Food is great, tasty. The service is 10/10 and the ambiance is exactly how i like. A lil bit of music, not too loud, dark mysterious place inside while cozy and friendly outside. Tried 4 drinks in 2 nights haha. Totally worth it

First off, this is in downtown Fullerton, so make sure you check if you need to pay for parking or not, because I made that mistake and got a ticket. Secondly, make sure you're not the driver to enjoy all the drinks this place has to offer. This charming little speakeasy is nestled right on the corner of a building, and trust me, you can't miss it! It's definitely on the smaller side, which gives it a cozy vibe--perfect for getting to know your date a little better. Don't worry if you prefer some fresh air; they have outside seating too! While reservations are highly recommended, you can still drop by without one. If you're a fan of whiskey, you're in for a treat! Their crafted whiskey drinks are absolutely worth trying, and the food is pretty great as well. The staff is super friendly, and I didn't have to wait long for my orders. Overall, it's a nice place to unwind and enjoy!

Chapter 4 at Les Amis is classified as a speakeasy on Yelp, which I don't agree with at all because a speakeasy implies some secrecy when they had a huge sign saying Chapter 4 outside. They are a quaint upscale bar with lounge-like ambiance and a decent selection of craft cocktails and whiskeys. There is also an outdoor patio with additional seating. When we came it was really busy, so it was a good thing we had a reservation from Open Table. The staff checked if we had a nut allergies, and upon confirmation that we did not, the brought out a complimentary nut assortment. It was nice but nothing amazing. We also decided to order a Hummus ($12) to share for something to munch on. It come with large sheets of pita and house pickles. The hummus had a lot of tahini that was a bit strong for my friend. I thought it was average hummus but I didn't like the pita. For drinks I had the Flowers for Fiona ($16). I can't recall what my friend got. I feel like my drink more than she liked her drink. We had the capacity for more drinks but the other customers here were so loud and rowdy. Considering how small this space is, it was hard to have a conversation with my friend right across from me. Not taking this away from the bar cause they can't control their customers, but it's not my scene. Overall cool to check out but I wouldn't care to revisit.

This bar is a great place to have late night amazing drinks and to listen to jazzy, vibey music. Very nice set up inside too. Almost like a speakeasy.

Decor: Perfect for spooky lovers Ambiance: Could use some music to match the theme Service: good & attentive waitress I actually ended up here by accident. I was trying to go to Villains Brewery. I didn't realize I was at the wrong place until I looked at the menu. The two spots are right next to each other, have similar aesthetics, and are easy to mix up. Since I was already there (and starving), I decided to stay. The spooky decor is totally my vibe, so I was happy to give it a shot. The food was decent not bad by any means, but it didn't have that wow factor. I've definitely had better steaks and mac & cheese, but everything was cooked fine and tasted good. The drinks were solid, and I liked the cocktail selection. What really impressed me was the happy hour. BOGO drinks plus two free sides with the steak is a pretty great deal these days. The steak was a little pricey for the quality, but honestly, what isn't expensive anymore.... Service was good. My waitress was attentive, though to be fair I was the only customer there at the time. My only real complaint is that the place felt a little quiet. With the spooky theme, some music would really help set the mood and elevate the atmosphere. Overall, this ended up being a pleasant surprise. I'd recommend it for food and drinks, and I personally enjoyed it much more than Villains Brewery (you can read my review on that one... no bueno). Not sure if the two businesses are connected, but I had a good experience at one and a bad experience at the other. ‍

(The Anaheim packing district has private parking and it's easy to find a spot during the week. On the weekend, it's another story) You basically run right into the hammer bar when you enter from the main entrance. It's nothing fancy, gives off hipster vibes and is cool without trying to be cool. The two bartenders Josh and Xavier were amazing I came here around prime lunch time. I went and asked one of the bartenders, since they do not serve food if it was ok to bring some pastries inside and eat them with my drink. (There's a pastry place right next to the hammer bar) They said since it was a weekday and not busy I could bring something in. So I went and grabbed some food and sat there while drinking my drinks. They have bar seating and then they have hightop tables as well I asked them for some recommendations. Josh and Xavier both recommended The zombie (kept warning me that it was extremely strong. So I stayed away from that. Even though I'm confident I could handle it) The banana clip The pool noodle (I told them I needed it to be pretty / cool looking too, lol) I went with the pool noodle -Plantaray Pineapple Rum, Rhum J.M. AND, let me tell you, this was delicious AND looked amazing 10/10 Then I went with the banana clip- Old Forester 100 Proof Bourbon, banana, mandarine, cinnamon, pineapple and lemon. 10/10, I loved it To be honest all the drinks sounded great. Their front of house focus is the wine bar, but they also have a good cocktail and martini menu, as well as a nice selection of food items. The interior is warm and cozy with two different seating areas. The larger front area has bar seating, quite a few tables, and a lounge area in the back corner with several couches. There is another area in the back which is smaller, and houses their cocktail bar and a number of two seat high top tables. You can order anything on the menu from either area. We sat at the bar in front for some Sunday evening cocktails and small bites. We started out with the spinach & artichoke dip ($15). The dip came out very hot, was a big portion, and was very good. However, the menu said it came with toast points, but instead it was served with tortilla chips which were just ok. The advertised toast points or fresher tortilla chips would have made this appetizer better. My first cocktail was the Limoncello Martini (vodka, fresh Limoncello, lemon juice, $15). I usually love anything lemon and this was a good martini with light lemon flavor. She started with the Purple Martin Martini (vodka, raspberry puree, pineapple, $15). This was another good martini with light sweetness from the raspberry and pineapple, not a sugar bomb. We wanted a little more food, so we ordered the Caprese flatbread ($18). It was a good size, and the dough was great. It had a good amount of cheese and tomatoes, and I really liked the balsamic drizzle on top. However, it did not come with the basil that was listed on the menu. Next, I tried the Peperoncino Martini (vodka, Italian Peperoncino brine, black pepper, extra virgin olive oil, $15). I loved this, one of the more unique martinis I've had. She liked her sip so much, she ordered her own for number three. Her second cocktail was the Carmel Apple Martini (carmel apple vodka, Licor 43, lemon, star anise, caramel cube garnish, $15). Most of the time, you would expect a caramel apple martini to be a sugar bomb, but not this one. The flavors were great with a light sweetness. And who doesn't like a caramel square treat? For my last one, I had the Cinnamon Sleigh (bourbon, cinnamon spice, maple, orange twist, $15). This was a good sipping finisher with light cinnamon notes and those great orange aromatics. KJ was our server, and she was very sweet and friendly. We came early in the evening and it was a little slow, so we chatting with her quite a bit. I'd take a half point off for the two food items not coming with the listed items, but rounded up to five stars overall. The bill had a 3% charge added for using a credit card. They have a music trivia night on Thursdays which would be fun to try. We enjoyed our first visit here, and will definitely return again.
