BEWARE if you come eat here and pay with card. Make sure to take a picture of your receipt including tip. I came for brunch this past weekend and while I normally don't take pictures of my receipts, best believe I will from now on. My $14 tip was not enough they decided to add another $6. THIS IS FRAUD and I will be disputing this with my bank since I only agreed to pay $94.67 not $100.67. I thought it was strange that none of the receipts they gave me had a signature line, I still signed it. 2 different waitresses served us, Marzjele and Natalie/Natalia. I will be filing a claim with the FTC in the event that this is a reoccurring trend that others have hopefully reported. I went to speak with a GM however there were none available. I was disappointed to hear that they were all aware of this upsetting issue since the morning and nobody bothered to reply to my inquiry which was left on their website. This included my email and phone number. As of today I have yet to hear from a GM or the owners who per the young lady I spoke with yesterday would be very embarrassed to hear what is going on in their establishment. I don't think they care. So this is how Rokka addresses customer issues, ignoring them until the customer comes by in person. I can't wait til this place is replaced by another business.

We chose this spot for Valentines dinner and it did not disappoint. The pre planned menu was absolutely delicious from start to finish, every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The service was amazing, attentive, warm, and perfectly timed without feeling rushed. The ambiance was special that included romantic lighting, great saxophonist, and a lively yet intimate vibe that made the night extra special. If you're looking for a spot that truly delivers on food, service, and atmosphere for a special occasion, this is it! We'll definitely be back!!

Went in for drinks and a bite to eat. In early & on a holiday. Sat at the bar and was greeted right away. Ordered drinks and they were spot on. Ordered apps to eat. They were very good. The place was nice and clean. So we'll be back.

Smoke and mirrors a little sweet to my taste but recommend. Oaxacan old fashioned never disappoints. Here at least

*Late post* Ambiance: Love the decor! Very clean, and welcoming. Service: Greeted upon arrival by the nicest hostess. Our waiter came over promptly to take our order. He gave great meal & drink choice, since it was my first time dining in. The food and drinks were amazing! Cooked well, and serve hot! The flatbread beef pizza was to die for, I could've ate a whole one by myself. The salmon was cooked perfectly, as well as the noodles. I cant remember what drink I had, but it gave me a nice lil buzz! Lol. Next time I'm in town, I'll have to stop by for dessert!

We went on a Friday evening, the restaurant is nice, good lights, comfortable seating, nice waitress at the bar. Food well seasoned. We liked everything tasted and the drinks too. The restroom is clean but once I entered I noticed the restroom doesn't match the theme of the restaurant, it is like I enter to a gas station restroom (but super clean) I recommend the restaurant to add a better warm taste in it. But we will definitely come back.

Nice vibe in Bellflower area. Takes a bit for the food to come out, but I am assuming because they are making the food fresh. We got the Tomahawk Tuesday because of the deal. It came with mash potatoes w/ mushroom brown gravy and vegetables. The meat was presented well but definitely can use some salt. Not bad for a hang out place.

The parking can be a little difficult, but that won't keep me away from great food and a great happy hour This has been on my list for a while. They have two locations. One in bellflower and one in Whittier. I've seen pics of their burgers and knew I had to come in Honestly, I passed this place a couple Times. It does creep up on you and is kind of tucked away. Has a really small sign out front It is street parking and then they do have public parking next door but it does fill up with all the other restaurants in the area I came In and our waitress greeted me. She asked if I wanted a table or a booth. I went with the booth option. The booths are HUGE and comfortable. And kind of tucked away from the bar (there was a bunch of TVs playing sports all around and a bunch of people at the bar cheering for a game) They do have plenty seating, but the planner I am made a reservation. Which was a breeze Our awesome waitress brought out water glasses and a huge pitcher of water for the table. Which I loved. Even though we could of refilled it ourselves everytime she passed us she filled our cups I ended up ordering a drink and the bread basket, both from the HH menu while I waited for my girlfriend. The drink was 10 and the bread basket was 5. I really loved the lighting in here as well, it has a really nice atmosphere. Despite all the TVs with sports on it didn't have a sports bar vibe. I saw a lot of people in here dressed up for date night When my girl, Kara arrived we ordered more drinks and we both got the Lava burger. Which is the same size as the full price one for such a good deal on the happy hour menu. We both ordered sides of fries since the lava burger (has bacon, egg and cheese on it. Along with a delicious sauce) only came with a few yucca fries, which we both have never had before. The food was all amazing. It came out extremely fast as well. They have some cool specials during the week. On Tuesday they have a tomahawk special which I am Definitely coming back for. We ended up ordering dessert. Which was a part of their seasonal spring menu (they had some cute spring cocktails on the menu too) it was this delicious chocolate cake. We asked to add ice cream to it It was definitely a great cheat day for the books and I'll definitely come back With family for the tomahawk special P.S- if you are into whisky, then this is your place. I saw a lot of people ordering their whisky flights

This was my second visit to Rokka. I stopped in for a friend's birthday dinner. It was a nice size party and all of the staff were on top of their game. Service was fast and food was delicious. I had the sweet and spicy ones. They were literally perfect. I've also had the pesto pasta which was really good as well. This place is such a little hidden Jewel. I'll definitely be back

This restaurant has pretty high quality meals . It is a bit pricey however so be ready to spend some money . I ordered the pork belly bites and they were very good . FYI they come with fries . I wish the waitress had mentioned that when we ordered the fries right before she brought us the food but you know severs will rarely ever caution you to order less food lol

Driving home from dining in Long Beach, Yelp put this bar on my radar -- an attractive, warm-&-welcoming, dimly-lit bar, within quaint Downtown Bellflower (a first visit to both the restaurant and the city!)! The bartenders were great: friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and appreciative for us stopping in. What a bonus for us that it was Happy Hour (Monday - Friday, 4-6 PM)! Their Baby Rok Sliders (2/$16) were both attractive in presentation and taste. The side dish of Vegetable Medley ($9) off the regular menu was an attractively colorful plate of nicely prepared vegetables. They offer quite an attractive menu, including weekend brunch. Fun, locals vibe! People seated on both sides of us at the bar top made us feel like local regulars too! Eager to return to experience more off their menu.

Randomly tried this place by downtown Bellflower. The restaurant itself is spacious, clean and beautiful. They have an outside seating with heating during the cold weather. Went on a Saturday but not much people. There's a guy playing acoustic guitar. Food is ok, nothing exceptional but overall decent. Our server, Michael was great and attentive. Would recommend this place if you're in the area.

Honestly thought it was the bar that we came inside. First impression, why did we need reservations.... Since we didn't know the hidden entrance. Well, it's a cool concept once we entered. There's a dress code so be advised. What I found out was the entrance of the speakeasy was through a phone booth that next to the pool table of Roxanne's bar. Once reservations is made, you'll received an email with a password to enter. Enter phone booth and to connect to the inside and they'll open the door for you. We had the first reservations I believe they opened at 7pm. We were the first group to arrive. As it was my first time, we had ordered bar food and were waiting for it inside the main bar. So half an hour was used from our time limit. The speakeasy, dark and moody but perfect for the place. Special crafted cocktails by the bartenders which were great. They also have food as well, found out later. We did try the meat pie, which it was just ok. Basically an empanadas, the pickle veggies accompanied it was my favorite. It was good but nothing major to rave about. The drinks were quite nice and tasty. What they offered on the menu did have a load of good choices. Tables scattered throughout as well as bar seating. There's a piano which maybe used for live music. Overall, the moody speakeasy vibe was great. Friendly staff and bartender made some great drinks. What we had to snack on, the meat pie was just ok. They're very strict with the time limits. Once it's reached they'll let you know.

This place instantly became one of my favorites after just one visit. From the moment you walk in, the whole vibe hits you--the moody, neon-lit ambiance sets the tone perfectly. Not too loud, not too mellow--just the right balance where you can vibe, have a conversation, and still feel the energy of the room. You can tell they actually care about the experience, not just throwing a playlist together. Now let's talk about the drinks... because that's really where they shine. Every cocktail feels intentional and crafted with care. You can taste the quality immediately--nothing watered down, nothing basic. They have a really cool mix of classic cocktails and modern twists, and even the familiar drinks feel elevated. It's the kind of place where you want to try something new every round because you trust the bartenders know exactly what they're doing. Service was on point too. The place comfy, the ambience is dark and bar-like, the drink vibes look chill, I have no complaints about the service. The service was good and the staff was nice. All this makes the steak disappointment that much worse for me. We ordered Ribeye and Shrimp Salmon Lobster Mac and Cheese Asparagus Lobster Roll (Sushi) A drink from the bar The Steak.. The steak came served on a cast-iron skillet. I ordered it medium-well. It arrived a little more medium than usual, but that was not an issue. What disappointed me was the puddle the steak was sitting in. Traditionally said puddle is a mixture of butter, thyme, and whatever seasonings you used on the steak when cooking it. In this case, that puddle was flavorless. It really tasted like the steak was just sitting in a flavorless oil. The steak was very bland, very difficult to think someone could send out a piece of meat out like that, especially when you find out what it costs. It was not worth it and not worth the final tab unfortunately. Really wanted to find a steak W for Downey but I don't see myself being interested in this place again.

The cocktail program here is absolutely phenomenal. I am pretty picky when it comes to whiskey, and since Manhattans are my absolute favorite, my expectations were high. They mixed an incredible Manhattan that was perfectly balanced with the right sweet vermouth, and their Old Fashioneds are crafted with an attention to detail that really lets the spirits shine through. We also ordered a few Paper Planes, and they were dangerously good, hitting that perfect sweet and sour note that makes you want to immediately order another round. Having been here many times over the past decade, I've discovered some great bourbons, scotches, and had some great cocktails. But those days are unfortunately in years past. In a place that prides itself in its whisky, the bartenders are sorely lacking in their knowledge around their own bar. With an extensive selection, I don't expect them to know everything, but bartenders not knowing what is meant by a neat pour (straight out of the bottle into the glassware, no ice, and not mixed) was unexpected. I'm getting the impression that while they still mix old fashioneds, a scotch such as Ardbeg is now an unusual and baffling request. For starters, we got the Parker House Rolls, which comes with truffle butter, local citrus honey, and grana padano cheese. These rolls were so fluffy and flavorful. We also ordered the hummus, which was so rich and creamy, and the oysters from the raw bar. For the main, we ordered the Smoked & Glazed Pork Chop, Fish & Chips, and the Wedge salad to share. And let me tell you, that everything was so good. The Smoked & Glazed Pork Chop came with a whole show, where staff would bring out the dish in a smoke-infused glass dome and open the dome when presented on the table so we can smell and see all the smoke. Not only was it beautiful to look at, but it tasted just as beautifully. The meat was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the rainbow swiss chard, cheddar grits, candied pecans, and avocado honey helped balance out all the juiciness from the meat. They use haddock fillet for the Fish & Chips, which was fried to perfection. The Wedge Salad is what actually knocked my socks off! This was one of the best wedge salads that I've ever had.
