Me and my wife ate here yesterday 5/1. I was craving wings and this was the closest spot to the mall. We got greeted sat down and they gave us menus. Took about 15mins for them to take our order. I was already looking around for another wing spot cause it was taking to long. I guess they noticed us getting bothered so finally someone comes to take our order. We ordered at 7:23pm and we didnt get our food till 8:03pm. The wait time was ridiculous. The wings were good but thats way to long to be waiting in a room that probably had about 12 people when we got there. Sure people started coming in but my order was placed way before anyone else showed up.

The music playing here is like soft rock in Spanish. I might catch a word now and then but the melody is very nice and it's very pleasant to listen to. I was going to do takeout, but it was so nice inside that I stayed to eat my little pizza here. Service is excellent as always, and the staff are so nice. I ate half of my pizza and I'm bringing the rest home for later. I eat everything, but I just don't need it all at once.

REALLY nice restaurant and clean, loved the art work. Customer service was A1 really nice, very friendly. Got chicken, carne asada tacos, and asada fries. The Chicken tacos were really good, I actually don't even really care for chicken BUT it was season really well. The carne asada tacos were my favorite. The carne asada was season SO WELL and it was SO FLAVORFUL, extra tasty. I ate it cold and it was BOMB I know it would have been that much more better hot! Definitely got to go back soon! Definitely recommend.

As good as I remembered! Chili cheese pastrami is sublime, I'll die on this hill! :P Picked up some chicken clubs and a chicken strip meal for the fam, and an order of chili cheese pastrami fries for myself! The service was on point, they're quick, friendly, and keep your water filled (or beer) while you're waiting. :) The place is set up like a restaurant/bar, lots of TV's and a chill atmosphere. Beer on tap, and a solid menu of food. This isn't a fancy affair, but I promise you won't leave disappointed. ;)

Tried this place for a quick girls night and catch up. It's a small location, but we were greeted and the waitress was chatty and made a laugh. There was a DJ playing music and karaoke going too, if you're into that! The girls and I all got wings and fries. We tried mild buffalo, lemon pepper wet, mango habanero, and the street garlic. Everyone seemed to like their food! The flavors were nice and had a little bit of a spice. We got a giant mozzarella stick to share, which is why I originally had wanted to try this place! It did not disappoint LOL. Would definitely come again and try more wing flavors or some of their other offerings.

I live only 2 miles away from this establishment and today was my first time dining here and I'm mad at myself for not coming sooner. From the moment I walked in, the place was super clean, lots of tv showing all kinds of sports, awesome mural on the wall of all the LA sports teams, and service from Norma was great. We asked Norma for some suggestions so we went with a mixture of things off the menu. Wings, DUI fries, quesabirria tacos, and a Tóxica chicken sandwich. Portions were very proper! Wings were on the larger side and cooked to a crispy perfection. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu.

I've come here a few times already, once for their Friday night karaoke which was super fun, and a couple of times for their weekly promotions ($1 wings, etc). I love this spot so much, it's close to my place, family-owned, and the workers are always so very nice and accommodating. The food itself is very good, they're always highlighting different menu items on their social media, and the food we've had delivered on our cravings. Also, their value is really good as their prices are not as crazy as many other places here in OC. Reasonable prices, great food, amazing service, and ambience/vibe insight is fantastic. Highly recommend checking them out if you haven't already done so!

I got the Caesar salad with chicken and it's verryyyy good! I barely ate it so I hope that didn't cause the servers to assume I don't like it, but I loved it! Wait isn't long either.

Chili cheese, pastrami, pizza just OK not enough pastrami or chili just a regular pizza with toppings what I've seen from previous pictures they used to give you a lot of pastrami, tonight. They definitely did not. Could be due to the customization of our pizza telling them we wanted for the pastrami crispy , but still not enough pastrami. I don't even taste the chili just a pizza with minimum pastrami and pickles and maximum cheese.

Honestly, I wasn't a fan of anything here. I ordered two pizzas and the giant cheese stick. The pizza reminded me of typical diver bar pizza and that giant cheese stick was underwhelming. I ordered everything online and picked it up the lady at the counter was very friendly and helpful. I'm still not quite sure what the place really is inside, but it was clean and super busy, so they have a following. For me it was overpriced for what it was and I won't be coming back..

I honestly can't believe this place doesn't have a line out the door: everyone is sleeping on Alas Toxicas. The staff is so friendly I'm happy I live around the corner. We haven't had anything we haven't loved. I'm obsessed with the DUI fries, and the pizza crust is so good so far I've had 3 different pizzas and the pepperoni is my favorite you can taste how good the dough and cheese are. Another perk is they always play the Dodger games, watching the boys in blue with a michie and great food is the perfect night.

We wanted pizza and wings and stumbled across Alas Toxicas. Started off with the Hazy IPAs and wings, For flavors I got spicy honey BBQ and street garlic wings. The spicy honey BBQ was too saucy but it had a nice crisp and flavor. We ordered Carne Asada pizza and it did not disappoint. I liked the ambiance and the server was nice!

FOOD (4/5): This is a SPORTS BAR and the food is as such! It's amazingly cheap for the quality they provide. They have specials everyday and the absolute COLDEST BEER IN TOWN! $18 BUFFALO DRUMETTES: I should've read the menu better, I'm a flats girl! Perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. $8 SEASONED THIN FRIES: also delicious! Just depends what you're in the mood for. I honestly liked the steak cut fries better. Both are amazing. AMBIANCE (4/5): This seems more like a family bar. Earlier in the daytime people bring their kids, which is a nice option. A lot of locals and repeat customers. I don't remember our server's name but she did an awesome job! However, food, the main reason you go to a restaurant, right? They have daily specials (we went on burger day) and if not for that, the food is very overpriced. Yes it's a half-pound burger, but fries are almost FOUR DOLLARS EXTRA! On top of a regularly priced $16 burger. My husband said the chips used to be made in-house but mine came as just a regular bag of Lay's - good but nothing special. Brewed root beer was right around $6. Burger more or less just looked like it was thrown on the bun. I guess people aren't as picky about their food when they're watching sports. Heck, if there had been a Green Bay game on, I probably wouldn't have cared either!

We had a reservation for six and the hostess greeted us and sat us right away. Our server, Nate, was fantastic. He knew the menu and answered all of our questions. He even explained how some of the drinks were made. Later we found out he was actually one of the bartenders helping out as a server for the night. Which made sense considering how well he knew how the drinks were made. He was attentive and checked on us often to make sure everything was going well. One thing that made him stand out was, he actually conversed with us rather than just asking if we needed anything and then leaving. The Old Fashioned was one of the smoothest and best I've probably ever had. My nephew ordered the Ube Painkiller after Nate described how it was made. I had a sip, and the ube flavor really came through without overpowering the drink and it was perfectly matched with the dark rum, which Nate said came from the Caribbean. The Brussels sprouts had a nice mix of tender and crispy pieces that gave additional texture. The calamari was tender and the pesto style sauce paired real good with it. The Thai curry sea bass was flavorful, flaky, and had the right amount of spice. The cioppino had a rich shellfish flavor in the broth and I appreciated that the tomato base didn't have such an acidic taste. We also shared the tomahawk, which was juicy, cooked perfectly, and had a sprinkle of coarse salt that really brought out the flavor. Overall, we had a great experience. The food was excellent, but Nate's service really made our night special, making us feel right at home.

The hostess was quite sweet when we walked in. As we had our little fur baby with us, we were seated at one of the tables on the patio. It was still early and that in-between time so it was pretty quiet. A large party was set up next to us. Melinda took care of us and she was the sweetest. Happy hour was happening which we took advantage of. It was 4.00 off appetizer, 2.00 off draft wine and beer. Also, they made sure that our little pup was well taken care of as well. Food wise, an order of the poke wrap. Nice chunks of ahi with a scoop of rice, lettuce, avocado and wasabi sauce. It was good but a little messy. As it would be with all of the lettuce wraps. The steamed mussels which is a must. The broth was delicious and served with two nice thick slices of toasted bread. Decent size mussels cooked deliciously in the broth. A must try. Lastly the calamari which was tossed with jalapeños. Both deep fried and quite tasty. Nice crunch to it but not overly cooked. That was also served with two dipping sauce. Everything was delicious. Towards the end of the meal, Melinda noticed that a bug was in my wine which she was very sweet about and made sure to take care of it. The simple little gesture was greatly appreciative. The whole experience was excellent. Everyone was the sweetest and friendliest. Will definitely be back.
