    Taquitos plate
    Joyce A.

I just needs a quick meal and decided on the drive through: I got three items : Orange Bang easy ice medium - sweetened and creamy like I remembered- 8/10 Taquitos plate - with a side of refried beens plus Mexican rice and chopped lettuce, tomatoes topped with four cream and a side of guacamole cream sauce - 6/10 because the taquitos stayed crunchy! Mystery meat might have been shredded beef but not great taste. The asada burrito was just sad : I got the carne asada with rice and beans : 4/10 - it was sizable but the meat was so dry and chewy that I had to give up on eating it at all. Takeout was under 10 minutes but no one was in the lot or behind me. I probably should try coming earlier rather than for dinner time because the meat sure seemed like it might have been sitting in a warmer or heat lamp all day. I might give them another try sometime.

Jr burger but I told them I just wanted chili and cheese

All of the time I asked for a junior burger I tell them just to add chili and cheese only I keep getting a burger with lettuce, tomato, onion, and that secret sauce. I don't like it as much that way they only got it right one time out of like the 5 times I have gone there

No longer a full chicken and rice. Only half and half

This place has fallen off. A worker has gotten mad because I sent back two orders of fries cause they were burnt twice. For years they've done their full teriyaki plates with salad in the side and with no notice or letting any one know they now make it only half with half salad in the same tray Wait times have increased

    Bacon hamburger combo
    Kristen A.

Late night munchie trip led us here. We arrived right before they closed the deive thru 945pm Ordered 2 - bacon hamburger combos Hamburgers were good, fry portion is huge. Fries were super over salted but I would go back. (We just shook them out in a strainer lol ) If you're looking for a quick 10$ combo try flames. We have also tried their breakfast burritos and they were good.

I love flames! My favorite dishes have to be the chicken nachos and fries. They always give you a massive bag of fries and they're so fresh.

Good food and fast service. The best noon rings are fresh and not overcooked. Patty melt and fries were also very good

Chili cheese and bacon cheeseburger cant go wrong with this combo.

I ordered the curry chicken sandwich and wow... it was packed with layers of flavor! A perfectly spicy kick, a big juicy chicken breast, crispy fried onions, basil for and added layer, and the most delicious curry sauce. So good. I can't wait to come back and try more items on the menu. The guy at the counter was super friendly and helpful. I was a little hesitant about the spice level, but he reassured me I'd like it -- and he was absolutely right. Plenty of seating both inside and outside, with a relaxed, casual dining vibe. Definitely looking forward to my next visit!

Not wanting to choose one of the two eateries I chose each of the past two years, I went with The Stand to see if I can give them the 4th star that I've been trying to give them for the past year or two. The final verdict? No, unfortunately. This year, I was in a rather unique situation where I also had the option to double my party size, and The Stand had catering packages that would feed both party sizes: The Feast for 10 to 20 people, and The Big Feast for 20 to 40 people. But don't think The Big Feast is twice the size of The Feast; rather, the only difference is an additional platter of 20 half sandwiches/wraps. Otherwise, both will have a platter of 20 half sandwiches/wraps, a large gourmet salad, a large side, and a cookie/brownie platter. After much deliberation, I went with The Feast with Meyer Lemon Broccolini and a Sidekick of Chinese Chicken Chop Salad with Chips & Guac. I chose all this to avoid the need for flameless heating kits since I wasn't sure how they'd work. I was drafting an email to the catering team to add some supplementary instructions I overlooked initially, but after the FIRST15 to 20 minutes following submission of my order, Sydney from the Catering team gave me a call to ask for clarification on some details based on my email communication. Really appreciate how punctual she was at this, and she was happy enough to send out an updated invoice. However, I learned from Sydney that the Meyer Lemon Broccolini would need a flameless heating kit even though the catering website did not mention that. In fact, during my email communication prior to placing my order, I pointed out that the Meyer Lemon Broccolini and Red Ginger Green Beans weren't listed as vegetarian despite being vegetables, and they confirmed they were indeed vegetarian, but not vegan. I noticed these oversights were immediately addressed after I brought them to their attention. However, their website still indicates their cookies are vegan when they are not; I'm not going to bother with another email at this point lol. I had given them two weeks' notice for my order, knowing that the catering team can change it on their end. I didn't want just one flameless heating kit, so I decided to switch out the Chips & Guac for the Mac & Cheese, which is about $13 more. I arrived about 10 minutes before my scheduled pickup time, and I saw my catering order out in the open on a table where any customer could just grab it and go. Luckily, there were only a few customers inside, and when I stopped by my order, Kim came out to greet me. We recognized each other even 8 to 9 months after those technical difficulties spelled out in my last review update. I asked her to review my order with me before leaving, but when she said "Chips & Guac", the abstract record in my mind came to a screeching halt. I asked to see the invoice, and it was the older version from before I made the switch. I later found out they had printed my invoice too early even though their catering team said I could decide as late as the day before. Luckily, Kim checked the kitchen and needed only about 5 more minutes for the side of mac & cheese to be ready. She also let me keep the chips & guac even though she initially said she could swap it out, so that was nice at least. I also appreciate how they waited until my arrival to make a custom grilled cheese sandwich for my vegetarian guest, who enjoyed said sandwich. I also asked to put that guest's name on the box so I could tell easily. However, my abstract record cacophonously halted again when Kim asked me to pull up to the front door so they could load my order into my car. I had parked close by and previously requested for at least one employee to help me carry my order to my car. Also, I didn't want to block the right lane of the frontage road through the town center, so Kim and a team member helped carry the order to my car. My guests enjoyed the food for the most part, and I used this opportunity to invite them to visit The Stand with their family/friends on their own time (and dime lol). My order included an abundance of sauces and dressings, and I also appreciate how there were label stickers on each half sandwich/wrap in the platter. However, I would highly recommend a different means of labeling these sandwiches/wraps. As an example, I tried to grab a Chimichurri Steak Wrap only to find out it was actually a Falafel Wrap, which was the only vegetarian option in the platter. Good thing I got my vegetarian guest that grilled cheese sandwich! Lastly, if you've managed to make it to the end of this review, I'll let you know there's a discount code for customers placing a catering order for the first time. You actually read it in this review somewhere. Missed it? Sorry, I'm not giving it out like that. You'll have to re-read the review :)

It reminds me of my childhood in the best way. There's just something about a classic burger with that Thousand Island spread that you don't find everywhere anymore. My go-to order is the bacon cheeseburger with chili cheese fries, and it never disappoints. The flavors are exactly what you want, simple, satisfying, and consistently good. I always get a side of ranch too, which just takes everything up a notch. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. If I'm taking it to go, I like to get the lettuce and tomato on the side so the burger doesn't get soggy, I definitely recommend doing that. Price-wise, it is a little on the higher side for a burger and fries combo, but honestly, the quality and taste make it worth it. According to their website, they also make appearances at Breweries and Food events, so you may see them out and about. It popped up on my radar through yelp and I wanted to check it out as a local. I had their "black market burger", which was a double smash burger on a grill top with grilled onions and on a potato bun. They mentioned that their fries are cooked in duck fat, which typically gives a savory flavor to fries that you don't get in seed oils. They also mentioned their "new school american cheese" is new school because it's real cheese, but it tastes and melts like the American cheese. They were friendly and they brought it to my car as soon as my order was ready. I think that this burger would be nice with a beer at a brewery and, if you check out their website, then you could see when/where that happens. As it stands, I enjoyed their namesake burger and fries; however, I'd probably want to go with one of their more dressed up burgers or chili fries and I'd BYOB if I were to come back to see them at LB Towne Center, which has no less than a half dozen options for burgers. I definitely respect the grind. If you do come to check it out, check their hours before you head over to the gas station or check their website to go to their appearances at local breweries (which is probably how I'd rather have it). I hope they consider going to busier food events where their offerings can be paired with other food experiences. Soft drink options would also be nice. Again - I respect the grind and think that if you want to try a double smash burger on a potato bun, then you should consider giving it a shot.

(My boyfriend is one of the founders of the team so when I sent him a photo of the menu, I realized he won't reply til he has time & the game had just ended and he has to help take down everything.) We ordered the black market burger, the shady Swiss, and the bootlegger fries. Everything was phenomenal! I actually ordered my Swiss burger mainly for my boyfriend to try, because he likes mushrooms and I do not, but to my surprise I scarfed down the burger within minutes! That potato bun, the garlic aioli, the patty itself-oh my goodness-heaven. The burger was packed plenty with mushrooms & I enjoyed it all. I ordered the fries because I saw that they were thick cut and after hearing they were cooked in duck fat made me intrigued to see what the difference in taste would be & I was beyond impressed. They were just cooked to perfection with the perfect ratio from crispy crunchy goodness to the soft potato filling. My initial plan on the fries was to share half with my boyfriend (he only ordered the burger anyway), but my lack of discipline left him with just 1/4 of the fries He finally was able to eat 30 minutes after I received the food and his immediate reaction to biting into the burger was that it was really good! When he tried the fries he was impressed that they were still crispy and enjoyed the fries as much as I did. I wish they were coming back to next week's game, but I will definitely be there for every game they're popping up at (and to support my bf's team ofc ) .
