I love Nordstrom and even better that they have this cafe. The service is always great and the food is good. I always enjoy whatever I order with each visit. I took off one star because the cafe requires the hard Nordstrom card to use. Although to shop, we can text request the QR code. However to eat, the actual card is required. These days, having the actual card is unnecessary. We have Apple Pay and all cards digital on our phone. This was an inconvenience. Other than that, no other complaints and I will continue to enjoy this cafe.

This is a hidden gem! It's so delicious!! The staff is exceptional and really goes above and beyond. The food quality is stellar. Nordstrom's only problem is they don't market this place and so many don't know about it. Today I had a steak salad and glass of wine. I was so sad when I took my last bite as it melted in my mouth. Raquel took my order and was so pleasant to be around and really listened to all of my dietary restrictions and made sure the kitchen knew. Anthony was my server and continued to ensure I was doing okay. I can't recommend this place more! Don't walk, run to this oasis away from the hustle and bustle.

Love the idea of shopping and eating all in one place. Cute and comfy location on the 2nd floor. Quick casual restaurant where you order at the reception and a server brings your order. Bisque was hot and delicious, not really crabby, but good. We loved the panini and the salad. A lot of crab and mango in the salad. Raquel was our server. She was friendly and checked on us often.

With holiday season having just passed we frequented mall in particular Nordstrom. Luckily for me as my wife shopped I usually tagged along I knew she would get hungry with all that shopping and she would suggest eating here. Really enjoyed the chill vibe, excellent service a the star of the show the food. Everything we have tried has been excellent however with our last visit I tried the seasonal special birria pizza and it was delicious. I would also recommend the burger and the lobster bisque. I usually order my child the Mac and cheese it is also really good. I have tried several dishes here really enjoyed all of them I like how simple and easy to understand menu is not a lot of items but can't go wrong with anything you order. Not in pictures but the French onion soup and the the pesto pasta as well as all deserts are great.

I love cafes inside Nordstrom. Haven't been to this location yet so thought to give it a try. Upon checking in they have you order your food and pay for it first. Thought was very different because you also tip your server before hand. How would you know if service is worth what you tip? After payment you have a choice to sit anywhere you pleased. Luckily, my server Susie was kind and fast with my order. She was worth the tip I gave her. Always checked on me to see everything is good. Really appreciate the manager who also did the same. I'm in love with their Roma tomato basil soup. I was craving it for a while so had to order. It's the best and a must every time I make a visit to a Nordstrom Cafe. With it I was sipping on a glass of Prosecco. Very refreshing and light. Didn't try any other items on the menu because I was getting ready to attend a birthday party so didn't want to overstuffed myself. Next time, will definitely check out other options.

Friendly staff and considering the quality fairly quick service. For the chicken and goat cheese sandwich I got the balsamic vinaigrette on the side since I'm not a big fan of vinaigrette there was some type of mango or mango jam on the sandwich that I was not expecting, but the sandwich itself was very tasty but we warned it is a bit messy! For the kid's chicken breast the green beans were ever so slightly underdone for our liking. However, the rest of the dish was great. Restaurant itself is tucked away and makes you forget you're in a busy mall. The low lightening and spacious seating add to the relaxing experience. Will be back again as food was delicious and slightly on the guilt free side.

Everything we ordered was on point. Pizza is great, French onion soup was the best and prime rib dip was excellent! Very prompt service. Drinks were always filled. Friendly staff. Prices are a bit higher than usual but the quality is higher than average - you get what you pay for here and is totally worth it. Desserts are a pass - don't bother with any of the desserts here.

Also love their beer selection -- it's well curated and rotates often, so there's usually something new to try every time we go. Overall, it's just a super reliable spot with great food, drinks, and chill vibes. Definitely one of our regular date night places.

My friend got there early to put our name on the list. The restaurant appeared empty as there were lots of open seats/tables but it took us 40 minutes to get seated. The hosts were apologetic and we chalked it up to the fact that they were potentially understaffed. But it was definitely a bit frustrating to wait 40 minutes From there, the experience was pretty seamless. The service was generally good! My husband and I ordered Brussels sprouts, truffle fries, and a Bacon Jalapeno Jam Burger. Food was pretty standard! Good but nothing to write home about. The burger patty was cooked well, but the bun was a bit dry/stale. Brussels sprouts were good and the truffle fries were probably the tastiest thing we had. Overall, a mid experience!

Not wanting to choose one of the two eateries I chose each of the past two years, I went with The Stand to see if I can give them the 4th star that I've been trying to give them for the past year or two. The final verdict? No, unfortunately. This year, I was in a rather unique situation where I also had the option to double my party size, and The Stand had catering packages that would feed both party sizes: The Feast for 10 to 20 people, and The Big Feast for 20 to 40 people. But don't think The Big Feast is twice the size of The Feast; rather, the only difference is an additional platter of 20 half sandwiches/wraps. Otherwise, both will have a platter of 20 half sandwiches/wraps, a large gourmet salad, a large side, and a cookie/brownie platter. After much deliberation, I went with The Feast with Meyer Lemon Broccolini and a Sidekick of Chinese Chicken Chop Salad with Chips & Guac. I chose all this to avoid the need for flameless heating kits since I wasn't sure how they'd work. I was drafting an email to the catering team to add some supplementary instructions I overlooked initially, but after the FIRST15 to 20 minutes following submission of my order, Sydney from the Catering team gave me a call to ask for clarification on some details based on my email communication. Really appreciate how punctual she was at this, and she was happy enough to send out an updated invoice. However, I learned from Sydney that the Meyer Lemon Broccolini would need a flameless heating kit even though the catering website did not mention that. In fact, during my email communication prior to placing my order, I pointed out that the Meyer Lemon Broccolini and Red Ginger Green Beans weren't listed as vegetarian despite being vegetables, and they confirmed they were indeed vegetarian, but not vegan. I noticed these oversights were immediately addressed after I brought them to their attention. However, their website still indicates their cookies are vegan when they are not; I'm not going to bother with another email at this point lol. I had given them two weeks' notice for my order, knowing that the catering team can change it on their end. I didn't want just one flameless heating kit, so I decided to switch out the Chips & Guac for the Mac & Cheese, which is about $13 more. I arrived about 10 minutes before my scheduled pickup time, and I saw my catering order out in the open on a table where any customer could just grab it and go. Luckily, there were only a few customers inside, and when I stopped by my order, Kim came out to greet me. We recognized each other even 8 to 9 months after those technical difficulties spelled out in my last review update. I asked her to review my order with me before leaving, but when she said "Chips & Guac", the abstract record in my mind came to a screeching halt. I asked to see the invoice, and it was the older version from before I made the switch. I later found out they had printed my invoice too early even though their catering team said I could decide as late as the day before. Luckily, Kim checked the kitchen and needed only about 5 more minutes for the side of mac & cheese to be ready. She also let me keep the chips & guac even though she initially said she could swap it out, so that was nice at least. I also appreciate how they waited until my arrival to make a custom grilled cheese sandwich for my vegetarian guest, who enjoyed said sandwich. I also asked to put that guest's name on the box so I could tell easily. However, my abstract record cacophonously halted again when Kim asked me to pull up to the front door so they could load my order into my car. I had parked close by and previously requested for at least one employee to help me carry my order to my car. Also, I didn't want to block the right lane of the frontage road through the town center, so Kim and a team member helped carry the order to my car. My guests enjoyed the food for the most part, and I used this opportunity to invite them to visit The Stand with their family/friends on their own time (and dime lol). My order included an abundance of sauces and dressings, and I also appreciate how there were label stickers on each half sandwich/wrap in the platter. However, I would highly recommend a different means of labeling these sandwiches/wraps. As an example, I tried to grab a Chimichurri Steak Wrap only to find out it was actually a Falafel Wrap, which was the only vegetarian option in the platter. Good thing I got my vegetarian guest that grilled cheese sandwich! Lastly, if you've managed to make it to the end of this review, I'll let you know there's a discount code for customers placing a catering order for the first time. You actually read it in this review somewhere. Missed it? Sorry, I'm not giving it out like that. You'll have to re-read the review :)

I understand it was Mother's Day, but the service was still incredibly disappointing. I ordered the Steak Frites; the steak was tiny and hidden under a mountain of fries. They give you a microscopic container of ketchup, and I had to beg the waiter for more every time I ran out. My wife ordered a tequila drink, and they didn't even bring water to the table. We also had to constantly ask for refills, other restaurants usually bring a fresh glass before yours is even empty. Our waiter (Allan H.) brought a bottle of Tabasco and then came back just 5 minutes later asking to take it back. Even at Denny's, they leave the condiments on the table! Despite the poor service, I still tipped 20% because I believe in taking care of staff, but between the pushy service and the mediocre portions, it's not worth the price. We'll stick to Chili's from now on, better food and a much better experience.

We both got the personal 8" sizes, with his coming in at almost $20, and mine only being $12. I was BEYOND starving so after we ordered my husband got up and asked for an order of chips and salsa. Well, that never arrived. After 30 minutes she brought our pizzas and said the chips & salsa were coming next, I told her to forget it. I'm not sure why she thought we wanted it after our pizzas? Oh well. Pizzas were good! Mine was a typical supreme pizza with LOADS of cheese, tasty marinara, mushrooms, onions, olives, bell peppers, fresh tomatoes and a small amount of sausage and pepperoni. It's a very veggie forward pizza, which I was fine with. I was full after two slices. I thought his pizza would be super heavy, but is was not! The base was chili that tasted a LOT like Tommy's, so we were happy with it. There is a layer of cheddar cheese, some pastrami, and lots of pickles. I picked up on the chili flavor more than anything. Lunch was $40 for the two pizzas, a beer, and an iced tea. If we lived closer I am sure we would have them again, but it wasn't great enough to make a trip out to Cerritos again.
