The one I look forward to most, would be a free pastry/bakery item. It's distributed various times of the year, but none more valid, than the birthday month of Rewards members Kitchen Sink Cookie- Milk & semi-sweet chocolate, caramel pieces, pretzels, topped with flake salt. At a whopping 100 grams of carbs, including 56 grams of sugar per cookie, the Kitchen Sink Cookie is quite literally "the kitchen sink" of cookies. Sometimes I'll veer off and order a pecan braid or chocolate croissant, but being how the Kitchen Sink Cookie is the most expensive, and arguably best tasting, I keep ordering that, suffering the caloric consequences, later. Service has been good. I usually order via kiosk, and the wait hasn't been substantial. Parking can be challenging during prime hours, with additional parking available at the closed Amazon Fresh. Kitchen Sink Cookie means more HIIT and reps at the gym. I look forward to my free birthday month pastry/bakery item, and hope they never alter it to "minimum purchase required". read more

Why did Panera have to close the Lakewood location instead of this one?! Well, maybe I should voice my grievance somewhere else instead of here, but with the recent closure of the Lakewood cafe at the end of last month, I might have to make more visits to this cafe at Landmark Square whenever I have rewards to redeem. Last week, Panera was celebrating National Sandwich Month by offering $2 off a whole sandwich to rewards members. I was originally intent on getting a Bagel Stack, which is their cheapest sandwich at $7.99, but unfortunately, the Bagel Stacks were excluded from this promotion. Luckily, there was another sandwich that with the $2 off, would be even cheaper: Mediterranean Veggie. Actually, they have the Grilled Cheese Sandwich at the same price, but since I wanted more veggies for lunch, I went with the Mediterranean Veggie. As with all Panera orders I place online, I recommend adding extra vegetables and sauce to your order since they won't charge you more for doing so; you're allowed up to five. In my case, I requested extras of caramelized onions, arugula, romaine lettuce, and roasted corn to supplement the other vegetables in the Mediterranean Veggie sandwich; I also requested basil pesto spread. I also had a reward for a free bakery treat, and since Panera allows you to redeem multiple rewards and even a promo code all in the same order, I was able to strike two birds with one stone. Their most expensive bakery treat is the Kitchen Sink Cookie, normally priced at $5.29, so that's what I got. Knowing that Panera Bread likes to finish online orders well before the scheduled pickup time, I made it a point to actually wait until I parked my car in the parking lot to place my order. And good thing I did because literally just three minutes later, I got a notification that my order was ready! I was actually on the opposite corner of Landmark Square exploring the other businesses, so I raced back (not via hypotenuse, iykyk) and tried to find my order on the pickup shelves. Actually, I tried to find the pickup shelves, but turns out they kept my order in the kitchen behind the pickup counter, a stark contrast from the Lakewood cafe where they'd leave the bags on the pickup counter for anyone to take. I asked for a water cup, but they were on the side of the pickup counter where anyone could just grab one. After grabbing a cup and some water, I took my order to a table in the far corner of the cafe. I was pleased they stuffed my sandwich with virtually all the vegetables in their kitchen, and they also included the signature pickle spear that normally comes with every sandwich. Everything tasted fresh and quite good, though I did find it a little sour for my liking. However, the sticker that kept the wrapping in place around my Mediterranean Veggie sandwich wasn't actually labeled as such, so it's very possible that any two customers who ordered a sandwich could get each other's order. As for the Kitchen Sink Cookie, it made for a nice treat after a long day of volunteering, but I would not recommend finishing it all in one day unless you're sharing with a friend. That cookie is so thick and inundated with many a sugar that eating it whole at once may give you quite a sugar rush. I had kept the cookie in my car throughout the afternoon, and when I took it out of the bag, it softened up so much that it came close to breaking in half on its own. I was disappointed they didn't include a sticker to close the bag that held my Kitchen Sink Cookie, but the wrapping around the sandwich was held by a sticker. I simply reused the sticker from the sandwich for the cookie. With a sandwich, you get a side, which is typically one of French Baguette, Apple, or Chips. If I'm not getting a sandwich or a salad stuffer, the latter of which is a recent addition to Panera's menu, I usually get the French Baguette. Otherwise, I'd get an apple, like in this case. The $2 off a sandwich reward actually remained on my account after my order, implying that it could have been used more than once that week. The free bakery treat reward did not, understandably. One thing I do want to mention, if you're driving westbound on South St, make a left on Gridley before turning into Landmark Square because you're not allowed to make a left turn into the entryway by Lucille's Smokehouse BBQ. If you miss the left on Gridley, you may find yourself making multiple left turns since you can't U turn on Studebaker for whatever reason. Overall, a decent enough lunch that I'll give one additional star to the Cerritos Panera Bread. Also, they recently revamped their rewards program to be on a points system rather than by visit; this eliminates the advantage of getting credit for one visit after making a small purchase, which used to be my strategy to getting rewards while minimizing the amount I spend. read more

Our visit at this location was a bit disappointing. We couldn't swap out our bread selection from a French baguette to a slice of sourdough bread with our soup. Instead we were given no choice but to buy additional bread which was unnecessary. So the service for this time was poor. The areas of the restaurant is not well maintained. There is a lack of larger tables to accommodate families. We may never come back to this location. read more

This location is always busy, the workers work hard. Place is reasonably clean given how busy they are. I appreciate the dedicated 20 minute rapid pick up parking spots given how busy this plaza gets. The most recent thing I tried is the dubai cookie. It was priced the same as their chocolate chip cookie. I'm glad I tried it, but I will be sticking to the classic chocolate chip cookie if I ever go in for their cookies. My home Panera! Idk why this place has only 3 stars but they deserve more!! Parking is super easy out front with even pick up spots. There are two kiosks if you don't want to order in person. It's always missing the number tabs that vibrate when the food is ready. But they always have your name on the screen when your food is ordered and getting prepared. They always have one person working the front cashier. The ambiance is spacious with lots of seatings inside and they also have outdoor seatings. Sometimes it gets dirty but they also don't have that many people working the back so I assume not many for the front end either, not their fault for staffing. Panera Bread as a whole is like mid at best. But I do like some of their desserts and bagels. If you're coming for their coffee, its not that good, I was in the coffee club and even though it was free, I didn't like it. But they have been raising prices over the years and its not that good of a value anymore, they also have had less deals over the years, otherwise previously the Panera app would regularly have deals. I usually have only tried the bagels, chocolate chip cookie, kitchen sink cookie, and the tuna sandwich and would only come back for bagels, kitchen sink cookie and tuna sandwich only when there is a deal. Panera is a great spot for a quick bite, great for lunch to be able to sit down and get some work done or just relax while enjoying a nice meal. This location is great, lots of parking, private lot,clean and lots of seating inside and outside as well. The Cerritos area is nice in general. Used the app as always for quick pickup. Also, typically can get some coupons based on visits and promos using the app as well, so worth signing up. Been looking for coupon codes recently, but unfortunately, have not been able to find any online lately. I am also a member of the sip club. I highly recommend joining, you can get as many drinks as you want every two hours each day. They do a pretty good job with the food, service, and baked goods but there are quite a few other things that might make your experience poor. One, the WiFi is terribly slow. Like 150 Mb download and 5Mb upload. That's worse than any public WiFi I've seen anywhere, but this is technically private so it should be at least as good. There are only 3 power outlets in the entire restaurant (most Panera have 4-5) and one of them barely works. So this is really hard for anyone who goes there to study or get any work done. I now only go here in a pinch or if I'm not planning to be working for more than a few minutes - but it's still frustrating at those times also. A lot of the tables are constantly dirty or never wiped down. I have to wipe down myself. Bathrooms are also ugh Other than that I enjoy visiting Panera whenever I can especially to get my drink and bagel or pastry on. Was craving some Panera one night! Ordered on Uber Eats. That was nice and easy. My order came quick! And the food was good. I ordered the Mediterranean sandwich (whole) with chips and an oatmeal raisin cookie. Maaaaan, I love those oatmeal raisin cookies! They are so soft and flavorful. My sandwich was just okay though. The bread was a little soggy. Maybe that's what I get for ordering late at night and via uber eats deliver. I picked all the fixings out of the sandwich and just ate that. I tossed the bread in the trash. It was just soggy and nasty. My cookie and chips were good though lol I am a huge Panera fan. I just think Panera is best when you dine-in. Surprisingly, it was several people waiting in line and their tables were packed and it was only 9:30am. Sigh! It's one of those weekends that I'm not in the mood to cook. As a result, I ordered a breakfast sandwich, a salad for lunch, and a bagel for tomorrow's breakfast. Breakfast: Bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. I usually order their sausage sandwich and decided to try something different. It taste fine but it's not fulfilling as their sausage sandwich. I will definitely stick to their sausage sandwich. Additionally, I ordered my favorite cinnamon raisin swirl bagel with cream cheese. I usually put a little butter on it and throw it in my air fryer for a couple minutes until the edges are nice and crispy. Put a dab of cream cheese while it's warm so it spreads easily... So good! Lunch: I ordered my favorite salad: Fuji Apple Chicken Salad. I love the crunch from the apple chips, crumbled cheese, and long sliced onions. I absolutely love this salad. I tried making it home a couple times but doesn't taste as good as Panera Bread. The dressing is irreplaceable. Desert: I ordered a chocolate chip cookie. I warmed it up for a few seconds and it melts in my mouth. When I'm not in the mood for cooking and want a healthy meal, I always head to Panera Bread. read more

Went here for lunch today (5/30/25). Had my eye set on one of their Value Duets. I didn't see an option to customize the sandwich, I wanted no mayo. So I went to the counter to order. The employee straight up told me she couldn't make any changes to the sandwich and that's why it's cheap, then proceeded to give me other options. I usually don't come here because it can be pricey for a family of four. However, I saw they have a family meal that includes 3 flatbread pizzas, 2 salads and 4 cinnamon rolls for a good deal. I tried to order on the app but it didn't allow me to add it to the basket because there was an item that was "unavailable " but didn't state which item. I called the store and shout-out to DANTE cus he went above and beyond to make me a happy customer!! I explained to him what was happening and he was able to tell me that it was the cinnamon rolls. I've only been to this location a few times just for online orders. Never actually sat and ate in here. I had an e-gift card to use up, so thought intake my kids here. The kids love the full size thin crust pizza and mac and grilled cheese sammie. I've had their salads before and this visit I really did enjoy the caesar salad with chicken along side with a steak sandwich. The bread is yummy since I love toasted bread. I've never been a huge fan of Panera Bread before - not because the food is not good, but because I always thought it was slightly overpriced for what it is when I was younger w/less of a budget lol. However, after deciding to try it again when they had their unlimited coffee plan $(8.99/mo for unlimited coffee with a 3-mo free trial period), the frequency of my visits increased for my coffee orders, and with some of those visits, I ordered an accompaniment of lunch or a baked good. Slowly, my appreciation for the freshness and flavors of their items increased as I explored and tried new menu items. I enjoy the variety offered by the "You Pick Two" deal and usually get a salad and a half-sandwich, with my favorites being the Fuji Apple Salad w/Chicken and the Napa Almond Chicken Salad Sandwich (but really, all their sandwiches are pretty good). My favorite baked good is either the chocolate croissant or the pecan braid. So in the end, a sandwich and salad is pricier than what you would get elsewhere, but you do get some freshness, flavors, and variety from Panera...not to mention a crapload of coffee if you so choose. I definitely enjoy Panera a lot more now! read more
