This location is always busy, the workers work hard. Place is reasonably clean given how busy they are. I appreciate the dedicated 20 minute rapid pick up parking spots given how busy this plaza gets. The most recent thing I tried is the dubai cookie. It was priced the same as their chocolate chip cookie. I'm glad I tried it, but I will be sticking to the classic chocolate chip cookie if I ever go in for their cookies. My home Panera! Idk why this place has only 3 stars but they deserve more!! Parking is super easy out front with even pick up spots. There are two kiosks if you don't want to order in person. It's always missing the number tabs that vibrate when the food is ready. But they always have your name on the screen when your food is ordered and getting prepared. They always have one person working the front cashier. The ambiance is spacious with lots of seatings inside and they also have outdoor seatings. Sometimes it gets dirty but they also don't have that many people working the back so I assume not many for the front end either, not their fault for staffing. It's usually pretty empty and lots of booths, some people pull out their laptops and study here. I love this Panera and I will always pick up food here :) read more

This location is exceptional! It's located right off the freeway right across from the mall! It's perfect because you don't have to get in the mall traffic! It's huge inside! Quiet, friendly, the bakery is larger than normal! I had oatmeal and the portion was bigger than normal! Panera Bread as a whole is like mid at best. But I do like some of their desserts and bagels. If you're coming for their coffee, its not that good, I was in the coffee club and even though it was free, I didn't like it. But they have been raising prices over the years and its not that good of a value anymore, they also have had less deals over the years, otherwise previously the Panera app would regularly have deals. I usually have only tried the bagels, chocolate chip cookie, kitchen sink cookie, and the tuna sandwich and would only come back for bagels, kitchen sink cookie and tuna sandwich only when there is a deal. Panera is a great spot for a quick bite, great for lunch to be able to sit down and get some work done or just relax while enjoying a nice meal. This location is great, lots of parking, private lot,clean and lots of seating inside and outside as well. The Cerritos area is nice in general. Used the app as always for quick pickup. Also, typically can get some coupons based on visits and promos using the app as well, so worth signing up. Been looking for coupon codes recently, but unfortunately, have not been able to find any online lately. I am also a member of the sip club. I highly recommend joining, you can get as many drinks as you want every two hours each day. They do a pretty good job with the food, service, and baked goods but there are quite a few other things that might make your experience poor. One, the WiFi is terribly slow. Like 150 Mb download and 5Mb upload. That's worse than any public WiFi I've seen anywhere, but this is technically private so it should be at least as good. There are only 3 power outlets in the entire restaurant (most Panera have 4-5) and one of them barely works. So this is really hard for anyone who goes there to study or get any work done. I now only go here in a pinch or if I'm not planning to be working for more than a few minutes - but it's still frustrating at those times also. A lot of the tables are constantly dirty or never wiped down. I have to wipe down myself. Bathrooms are also ugh Other than that I enjoy visiting Panera whenever I can especially to get my drink and bagel or pastry on. And the coupons they add to my account are pretty handy too. read more

Was craving some Panera one night! Ordered on Uber Eats. That was nice and easy. My order came quick! And the food was good. I ordered the Mediterranean sandwich (whole) with chips and an oatmeal raisin cookie. Maaaaan, I love those oatmeal raisin cookies! They are so soft and flavorful. My sandwich was just okay though. The bread was a little soggy. Maybe that's what I get for ordering late at night and via uber eats deliver. I picked all the fixings out of the sandwich and just ate that. I tossed the bread in the trash. It was just soggy and nasty. My cookie and chips were good though lol I am a huge Panera fan. I just think Panera is best when you dine-in. Even with my expectations tempered, the Cerritos Panera Bread still found ways to not meet my expectations lol. I usually go to the Lakewood Panera Bread, but since I was planning to do some shopping nearby on a Thursday evening, I decided to try this Panera Bread to see how good (or bad) it really is. Since I had already tried the Spicy Take Chicken Sandwich from the Long Beach Panera Bread, it only made sense to try the Signature Take Chicken Sandwich from the Cerritos Panera Bread. In spite of the hot chicken sandwich craze that has been taking over SoCal, I knew not to set my expectations too high since I wasn't too big on Panera's Spicy Take. But maybe the Signature Take would be better? Some may say yes. I say no. The Cerritos Panera Bread is located in Landmark Square on the south side of South just south of Los Cerritos. It's in the very far corner of the square. The storefront is pretty small from the parking lot's point of view; in fact, there are only two parking spots directly in front, and both are for handicapped parking. Since this Panera Bread shares the same lot as a dozen other businesses, don't be surprised if you find yourself struggling to park your car. Luckily, when I went, there were a couple of open spots just steps away from the aforementioned handicapped parking spots. I ordered the Signature Take Chicken Sandwich in the app and made some customizations. I recommend doing it this way so that you can add extra ingredients like sliced tomatoes, onions, peppers, and even some extra greens at no additional cost. Some upgrades do cost extra, and you're only allowed to make a maximum of 5 different customizations, so don't get too crazy lol. I arrived about 10-15 minutes earlier than my scheduled pickup time, so I decided to kill a little time by taking a walk around. The outdoor patio is on the south side of the restaurant closest to South street, but there was an additional walkway around the corner. I walked along said walkway only to find myself at a dead end well within earshot of the neighboring neighborhood. I circled back around and walked past the dozen businesses at the L-shaped plaza. Once I reached the opposite end of that L, I got a text saying my order was ready for pickup. It was 5 minutes before my scheduled pickup time, so I had to book it to Panera. As I raced towards the Rapid Pick-up, I glanced at the order screen, but I didn't see my name under either column. However, I saw my takeout bag there for the taking, so I grabbed it and headed towards one of the dining tables on the far end of the cafe. It was a pretty empty cafe, so I got to enjoy my dinner in privacy for the most part. Unfortunately, I didn't really enjoy the chicken sandwich. Even though I liked how the chicken was bigger than expected, the taste wasn't there at all. One bite, and the chicken tasted odd, like it was plant-based. From the Panera Bread website, the Signature Take Sandwich is "seasoned and seared chicken raised without antibiotics, parmesan crisps, emerald greens and garlic aioli on a brioche roll." Or is that how chicken sandwiches are supposed to taste when the chicken is seared? In any event, it didn't even compare at all to the Spicy Take Chicken Sandwich I had from the Long Beach location. But maybe the rest of the sandwich would taste good? Unfortunately, I can't agree with that either. Even though my requested toppings were there like the tomatoes and the onions, the taste still missed the mark for me. I barely tasted any flavor at all, and the sandwich actually got soggy enough that the bottom bun was tearing apart with each bite I took. No joke, even though the sandwich is supposed to come with garlic aioli, I didn't taste any until my second or third to last bite, and on those last bites, I tasted quite a lot of aioli. I might have given one additional star if the aioli was spread around more evenly, but even so, I still do not recommend either of Panera's chicken sandwiches whatsoever. For the side, you could choose the baguette, chips, or the apple. I've had the baguette several times before, and I tried the chips at the Long Beach location, which weren't anything out of the ordinary, so I went with the apple. Even though the apple was juicy and delicious, I was disappointed at how small it was. The size of my apple was pretty miniscule, like a single gala apple you could get at Superior Grocers. I was expecting the apple to be at least 1.5 times larger than what I actually got. It will be a while before I get another apple from Panera, at least as my side. If I make a return visit to this Panera Bread, it certainly won't be for their chicken sandwiches. I might try their bread bowl soups or even a salad if there's a nice promo going on, but like I alluded to earlier, definitely do NOT come in with high expectations. read more

Went here for lunch today (5/30/25). Had my eye set on one of their Value Duets. I didn't see an option to customize the sandwich, I wanted no mayo. So I went to the counter to order. The employee straight up told me she couldn't make any changes to the sandwich and that's why it's cheap, then proceeded to give me other options. I find it ridiculous that this can't be an option to hold the mayo. It's not like I'm asking them to substitute the sandwich for something else. read more

Surprisingly, it was several people waiting in line and their tables were packed and it was only 9:30am. Sigh! It's one of those weekends that I'm not in the mood to cook. As a result, I ordered a breakfast sandwich, a salad for lunch, and a bagel for tomorrow's breakfast. Breakfast: Bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. I usually order their sausage sandwich and decided to try something different. It taste fine but it's not fulfilling as their sausage sandwich. I will definitely stick to their sausage sandwich. Additionally, I ordered my favorite cinnamon raisin swirl bagel with cream cheese. I usually put a little butter on it and throw it in my air fryer for a couple minutes until the edges are nice and crispy. Put a dab of cream cheese while it's warm so it spreads easily... So good! Lunch: I ordered my favorite salad: Fuji Apple Chicken Salad. I love the crunch from the apple chips, crumbled cheese, and long sliced onions. I absolutely love this salad. I tried making it home a couple times but doesn't taste as good as Panera Bread. The dressing is irreplaceable. Desert: I ordered a chocolate chip cookie. I warmed it up for a few seconds and it melts in my mouth. When I'm not in the mood for cooking and want a healthy meal, I always head to Panera Bread. read more

I usually don't come here because it can be pricey for a family of four. However, I saw they have a family meal that includes 3 flatbread pizzas, 2 salads and 4 cinnamon rolls for a good deal. I tried to order on the app but it didn't allow me to add it to the basket because there was an item that was "unavailable " but didn't state which item. I called the store and shout-out to DANTE cus he went above and beyond to make me a happy customer!! I explained to him what was happening and he was able to tell me that it was the cinnamon rolls. However, he saw that they DID have 4 cinnamon rolls so he made sure I was able to purchase my meal and made sure he held my cinnamon rolls!! These little things make a big difference and go a long way! Thank you Dante for your awesome customer service!!! The food: I ordered the pepperoni, pepperoni and sauce , & chicken chipotle flatbreads w/ Greek and Cesar salads. The kids love the full size thin crust pizza and mac and grilled cheese sammie. I've never been a huge fan of Panera Bread before - not because the food is not good, but because I always thought it was slightly overpriced for what it is when I was younger w/less of a budget lol. However, after deciding to try it again when they had their unlimited coffee plan $(8.99/mo for unlimited coffee with a 3-mo free trial period), the frequency of my visits increased for my coffee orders, and with some of those visits, I ordered an accompaniment of lunch or a baked good. Slowly, my appreciation for the freshness and flavors of their items increased as I explored and tried new menu items. I enjoy the variety offered by the "You Pick Two" deal and usually get a salad and a half-sandwich, with my favorites being the Fuji Apple Salad w/Chicken and the Napa Almond Chicken Salad Sandwich (but really, all their sandwiches are pretty good). My favorite baked good is either the chocolate croissant or the pecan braid. So in the end, a sandwich and salad is pricier than what you would get elsewhere, but you do get some freshness, flavors, and variety from Panera...not to mention a crapload of coffee if you so choose. There are no plugs for my laptop, and it looks like there were plugs before, but they have been closed off.
