Including all of the food,.. two whole chickens as well as two pizzas along with salads and breadsticks and brisket as well as ribs and some other stuff and drinks we paid under $400 for everyone. When I tell you by the time we got to the outside patio to sit down the gentleman at the front was all ready bringing out the appetizers. He was so kind and friendly. I wish I could remember his name... Really nice guy. We had several kids there and no one complained about the noise or kids running around a little bit outside. Though National Pulled Pork Day isn't until October 12, Stonefire Grill is celebrating it a little early by offering their pulled pork sandwiches for half off. Or better yet, they brought back July's 25th anniversary special, though the price for this year is a little higher than last year, but still not a bad deal. And just like last year, rewards members could get the pulled pork sandwich for half off once per day from Friday to Sunday of that weekend. I went on Saturday at about 11:30 AM, and there wasn't a long line to order, but Juan was the only employee ringing up customers at the register. It took several minutes since the customers in front needed plenty of time to place their orders. During my wait, I saw the menu had a section for Wood Fired Grill, where Pulled Pork was an option for a personal meal. Actually, they had two options for the pulled pork: a 6 oz serving for $15 and a 10 oz serving for $20. However, neither option would qualify for the half off as there is already an option for pulled pork sandwich under the Burgers, Sandwiches & Tenders section of the menu. Based on the price tag, I'm guessing that sandwich is equivalent to the 6 oz serving, but the personal meal would also include two breadsticks on top of a side. The sandwich that is half off would only come with one side. With the exception of Stonefire's Beans, all of their sides are vegetarian. Wait, beans aren't vegetarian? Not here! When I asked Juan to remind me what Stonefire's Beans were, he mentioned there was tri-tip inside, and I was immediately sold! It's also their most expensive side, at least for personal size, so unless you're vegetarian, I would highly recommend selecting Stonefire's Beans as your side. I also did ask Juan about the Cornbread Casserole since I didn't recall seeing that on a prior visit. He said that they honestly should have removed the word "casserole" as it's pretty much just cornbread, but with serrano and some other ingredient that I can't quite remember what it was. Could be worth trying in the near future, but I really wanted the Stonefire's Beans now that I know it contains tri-tip! I also asked for a water cup to finish off my meal. I sat at the table closest to the rear for easy access to the BBQ sauce dispenser as well as the water. Well, almost. When I tried to get water, the beverage dispenser starting rumbling as if to make me think it was going to explode any second! I ended up getting Vitaminwater in my cup instead. And I also made sure to get not one, but two cups of BBQ sauce for my sandwich and beans. There was an employee who was on break sitting directly across from me, but he should have been in the break area instead, which is just a little further to the back. On top of that, I had to hear him watch a soccer game on his phone during the 7-minute wait for my order. After dropping my order off in front of me, the employee asked if he could get anything else. I didn't see any utensils on the tray, so I asked if there were utensils. He spoke so fast, but was looking in the direction of the counter I was just at minutes ago getting BBQ sauce. Turns out the utensils were on the other side of that counter, and I should have gotten them first, though without a plate at the time, they really expected me to set the utensils directly on the table? Anyways, I did like the presentation of the Pulled Pork Sandwich as it seemed like a mountain of slow-cooked goodness waiting to be devoured! The Stonefire's Beans were a pretty good portion size too, like a $10 serving of soup at any other eatery. Knowing that the Pulled Pork Sandwich could use some BBQ sauce from the getgo, I poured the sauce in the sandwich, which immediately boosted the flavor profile by quite a wide margin! The cole slaw, unfortunately, was not an asset to the sandwich as it fell flat in taste and didn't supplement the pulled pork or the BBQ sauce very well. But the Stonefire's Beans? Oh yes, remember when I said I'd recommend choosing that as your side, assuming you are not vegetarian? Knowing that there was tri-tip in the beans really made the beans that much better than those from, say, a Tex-Mex spot. They could have used more flavor, so I added some more BBQ sauce to the beans. Mmmmmmm...BBQ Baked Beans with some tri-tip! Oh yes, I'm sure Homer Simpson's mouth would be salivating if he were reading this review lol. Unfortunately, the pickle slices were placed directly on the tray as opposed to the paper that was supposed to cover the tray. Why don't they just use a small cup for the pickle slices instead? Juan seemed like a pretty cool employee, even making sure that the half off reward was on my account and that it applied to my order before requesting payment. Overall, I'm still giving 3 stars for this experience, but there's some improvement I can see from my last visit; there's just not enough for me to give 4 as there were several shortcomings that I really needed to put out there in this review. read more

I had a combo lunch. There was a good size portion of pulled pork, mixed vegetables, a breadstick, a big piece of cheesecake with blueberry sauce in a cup, and refillable drink. Everything was very good. You order at the counter and they bring you your food. I took some of that home because I couldn't eat at all. The cheesecake was so delicious. Quick service and good food. My parents love to come here often and we dined in today. You get up and get your own plate cutlery and soda situation which I love because you don't have to wait for people to ask. Me and my family shared the whole roasted cauliflower and I believe the dressing is tahini which I typically don't like but theirs is delicious! We shared a Nashville hot chicken pizza and it was very balanced and not too spicy. Their pizza crust is really tasty too. First time at Stonefire grill was pretty good. I like the chill vibes and the prices were really good. They have lunch specials. Salsa , Guacamole & Chips was TOP TIER. The pasta was good wish there was more sauce but there was a good amount of cheese. I like that most meals come with breadsticks cause the breadsticks are pretty good. For my meal I got the tri tip. I didn't not like it at all ; it was too chewy and unseasoned. I would come back and order something different because you can't beat the prices and they have seltzers and beer and wine. read more

First time here, we passed by many times and was curious. Today the hubby and I came in, was a surprised that we had to order first, pay and then sit. Nothing wrong with that we were just not ready right away. The cashier was very friendly no issues.....we went with the small portion of pizza and a salad. Tropical Iced Tea was good and I came with a group that sat out on the patio... they had on the AC with fans so I pretty much froze out there. Parking lot was small but this place is located next to the mall so you can always park next door and walk over. There are no allegations, this is fact. We were served literally bloody chicken , if my 7 week pregnant wife would have ate that it could have caused her to have SEVERE health complications and harm our baby!! It is no JOKE, and I'm very sad to see the business in its current state. I've probably been to 3 different stonefires close to 100 times, and I will never be back again. We have passed by this place numerous times and it is always packed. Because we were int he area on a Friday night, we decided to stop. It was an hour before closing so we were hesitant to stop but we did anyways. Our waitress who took our order was helpful but you can tell she was tired from the long day. She was able to get our order quickly and we found a place to sit. I must say, this place is huge. There are so many tables to sit at and it is private and has a romantic ambience because it is so dim in there. We ordered a bottle of wine with our dinner and it was delicious. We got the Cabernet Sauvignon and it was good and paired well with our Meat Lover's pizza. Everything was delicious and paired well with our wine. Plus, the total for our meal came out to $60 which was a plus. There is a location close to home so I am sure I will try it out soon. read more

Not a bad place to get away from the ordinary. The one time bank has been converted. Ample parking in front of the restaurant or in the JCPenny next door. The menu has something for everyone. Amazing service at the Lakewood Stonefire Grill. When our order was not quite right the server was very apologetic and offered a free dessert to make up for the error. Our soft drinks were also comped. Our salad was bursting with chicken and fresh greens. Very tasty. Our Works Pizza was baked just right. Well it's been a long time coming, everytime we eat on that side of town we pass this spot and say, we got to try it. Today was the day, Saturday eve. We were going to meet up some friends and then they couldn't make it, glad they didn't. As soon as we're walking up we hesitated going in bcs it looked like there was a long wait. Then we realized that we have to order at the entrance before sitting. I was bummed there was no fries to go with the cheeseburger. Was craving a Philly cheese steak so the closest to that was the BBQ tri tip sandwich. Mash potatoes since there was no fries. Right off the bat food temperature was not acceptable. Spinach dip went room temp quickly, it was ok. When I picked up my tri tip sandwich, it wasn't hot, like the bread wasn't warmed up meat was luke warm ...I liked the pickles on the side and the mini caesar salad. My friend on the other hand, didn't enjoy his burger at all, temperature was the same as mine, he even said I think I just ate a frozen piece lol! I freaked out and said stop eating it... He kept eating it and mash potatoes were dry and luke warm. My friend did note, perhaps we ordered the wrong food, he said I see a lot of pizza and salad. I took my boyfriend tonight for his birthday, ordered tri-tip and chicken. The tri-tip was disgusting. It was like eating beef jerky, and the chicken was raw in spots. I told our server about it, he brought us a new tri-tip. It wasn't any better. The sad thing is, the manager didn't even bother to come over the table.to see us and apologize. While waiting, pick up your plates, utensils, napkins, drinks and bbq sauce. By the time you find your way to the table, it's a short wait for the food. I have tried most items on the menu and everything is great. All my faves below: Stonefire BBQ Chopped - My fave salad with Tri Tip or Avocado as the protein, depending on what other items we get. It come with greens, roasted corn, cheese, tomatoes, shredded carrots, red cabbage tossed with ranch with drizzle of BBQ sauce and topped with tortilla strips. Breadsticks - always fresh baked and delicious! Tri Tip - juicy & perfect, we like the butter sauce instead of the BBQ sauce Chicken Breast - juicy with crispy skin and love the lemon garlic sauce The Favorite Pizza - pesto, avocado, red onion, feta, mozzarella and fresh basil - LOVE THIS! We got food to go here. It's very near our house and I wanted a salad and my wife wanted chicken. I got the BBQ chicken chopped salad and my wife got the grilled chicken. The salad was just ok. I got it without tortilla chips, the absence of which was not the reason it was just ok. There was not nearly enough dressing to just use the dressing on the salad. I assembled bites and dipped them in dressing until the dressing ran out. The ingredients did not taste especially fresh. The tomato texture was that of tomatoes chopped and waiting for a while. The corn tasted like frozen corn that had been thawed out and refreezed. This lack of freshness, combined with not nearly enough dressing made the salad just ok. My wife liked her grilled chicken meal a bit more. She liked the chicken, but didn't really like the sides. Between the two of us, this is a 3. We may try this place again because it's so close. I think the best thing here is there Stimulus package. For $41.99, you get a selection of three items. First it's a choice of Chicken or Tri Tip. Second, it's a choice of Pasta or a Pizza. Third choice is between their delicious Caesars Salad or green salad. The package comes with garlic herb breadsticks. This visit we went with Tri-Tip prepared medium rare, Alfresto Pasta, which is a mix of Alfredo sauce and Pesto on Rigatoni Pasta. Of course the Caesar's Salad.
