Panera is my favorite place to go to for breakfast sandwiches and salads. My breakfast usual is the egg and cheese ciabatta with spinach, tomatoes and chipotle aioli as a free add on. I usually order from the app for pickup . On the app, you are allowed 3 free customizations on your item for free. I love their rewards. For lunch, I love the green goddess salad. I didn't like ordering my salad on a kiosk because there is no way to tell the cooks that I would like my dressing on the side. It was saturated and not crispy at all! The location that I am referring to is in Whittier. Also, they ran out of chips and baguettes and gave me an apple to eat with my soup and salad?! Not appreciated! The prices are very expensive, and the portion sizes for the soups and salads are too small for the price. read more

The service in Cerritos is the worst of all Panera I have ever been to. The staff has attitude. Especially Guillermo Flores, he needs to go to an anger management class. Yum! My husband and I came here spontaneously for lunch on a cold Thursday. I got half the chipotle chicken sandwich and he got the chicken mushroom soup bread bowl. I loved going to Panera Bread in college for its cozy cafe vibes and glad that things haven't changed. I literally live across the street from this place, I come here frequently throughout the year on occasions with my son's. I would take my young sons here for their birthday breakfast to start off their day or for spring break. Every time that I've been here has been a good experience so far. The only concern that I have is that they're hazelnut coffee is really not that amazing and flavorful. When I tried returning the coffee and substituting it for another one, they gave me a caramel frappuccino in which it was overly too sweet to even ingest. Other than that I love their broccoli, cheddar soup and their goddess salad. My youngest son loves their oatmeal. Just don't get their drinks....too watered down and waste of money. read more

We stopped going to this location 5 years ago because the water from the fountain tasted like they were pumping it right out of a dirty aquarium. After all this time we figured we would give it another try. Sad to report they must be refilling the aquarium because the water is still awful. We won't be back. read more

It is worth signing up for their rewards program. For example, during the month of January you get a free bagel every day and throughout the year their are some good free items or discounted prices. Parking- easy to find parking if you are going here during breakfast hours when most of the places in this shopping center across from the mall are closed but as the day goes it gets much more difficult (especially at night you will probably have to park pretty far away) Bakery- the bread, bagels, muffins, cookies, etc...have all been good Food- the food is on the bland side and small portions for the sizes Staff- all have been friendly and polite...there have been some mistakes with getting a couple orders wrong *there are quite a few places to dine in and a few places outside and it has been fine read more

I went to Panera in Cerritos to order my Grandson's food. The last time I went to get the same order I also ordered for me 1 coconut macaroon $1.99 which was not in the bag. I thought the next time I went I would let the staff know that maybe they would make up for it . As I told Gloria who took my order another staff person said "do you have your receipt Kat was her name ?" I said no which I thought was very rude. I think that unless you have numerous people off the street asking for something that was left out of their order everyday then I don't know what I was treated so rudely over a $1.99 item that was left out of my order . read more

If you place a delivery order for this location make sure you write in the directions to triple check your orders because of your missing something they will only credit you for what was missing and will not even try to replace it. I ordered 2 bagel bakers dozen and 4 tubs of cream cheese and they only put 2 tubs when I called they said I can either pick it up or they will credit me for them. Well the reason I had it delivered is because I can not pick it up. They did not care. That's great customer service to them and corporate even worse no wonder all these chain restaurants are going out of business. So I had to go place another order and you know what they add a tip to an order I want correct because they could not correct it.if it was up to me I would put zero tip at this point ! read more

I've been getting iced coffee from various Panera Bread locations and have never been served an extremely watered down drink with grounds in it. It was so diluted, I thought I was being handed an iced tea at first. I questioned an employee about it and apparently this is normal for their iced coffee now. I used to enjoy coming to this Panera but will sadly avoid this location in the future. read more

I love panera for their buy two soup and salad combo! Love their wild rice chicken soup and you can't go wrong with any of their salads. IMO panera has the best chocolate chip cookies too! Ordered a turkey sandwich to go. Got home, there is one slice of turkey on this 11 dollar sandwich. There is a wad of what should bacon on one side of the sandwich. I say should be, because bacon isn't brown and green from my experience. There is a half slice of cheese and tons of greens. This is nasty. I will never return to this location read more

Stopped by to pick up lunch. They have 'retired " their warm grain bowls, which I loved, and their flatbread pizzas. The closest thing I could find was a "salad grain bowl". Way too much lettuce & not enough of anything else. It was $13. The employees are fine, but whoever decided it was time for a '"New Era" was wrong. Not with replacements like these. read more

Service is excellent. I am not sure why this place only has 3 stars. The people are extremely friendly, and when I wait for rapid express orders, I usually don't have to wait very long for my order to come out. There is something to be measured if food is actually good. Is it consistent? I give the bread about a B+ rating. It isn't the best bread I have ever had like at a boulangerie, a.k.a french bakery, however the bread is fresh and most times when I order delivered as a sandwich which I devour graciously. With the unlimited Sip Club, I go in almost daily if not several times to get my beverage of my choice. There is always an option to get food with it as well. Yeah .. too smart a business model. :) read more

Came todAy with my coworker. Had half a turkey sandwich and the creamy chicken soup. Sandwich was decent but soup tasted like out of a can. Wasn't impressed. Outdoor seating is nice. Hibiscus tea seemed watered down. Pastries looked good but I did not partake. Plenty of seating inside and out. Many other options in the center to eat at. Not sure I'd come again. read more

I asked the girl expediting (didn't catch her name) and we realized that someone ended up taking my order when it came out :( thankfully my order was remade in a hurry. Placed an order online of half sandwich of Chipotle Chicken Avocado Melt and cup of Creamy Tomato Soup for lunch. I probably will never here eat again. 1/5 Service The online order was placed on 11:20am. I put in the pick-up time for 11:45am. When I was arriving, I got an email that my order was ready. But when I tried to pick it up, they said that they haven't even started. Excuse me?? Why did you send me an email saying it was ready but haven't even started it? I finally picked it up at 12:05pm. 1/5 Chipotle Chicken Avocado Melt Looking the pictures, the sandwich looks appetizing. TWO slices of cheese between avocado, a decent amount of chicken, splashing of red peppers. The actually sandwich was abysmal. A small smear of gouda (no two slices), two tiny slices avocado, a few peppers, zero chipotle sauce, a thin layer of chicken, no cilantro to speak of, no taste either. The picture looked amazing with overflowing of ingredients between the bread: ratio of bread to ingredients = 1:1 Instead, I got this trainwreck: ratio of bread to ingredients = 2:1. Oh, and this half sandwich was over $6. 1/5 "Creamy" Tomato Soup There was nothing creamy about this tomato soup. Looked like someone threw in some pureed tomato, some salt, and diluted it with water. That was it. I tried to salvage it with shredded cheese at home, but no amount of cheese was going to save this. I am SUPER DISAPPOINTED!!! I literally asked the cashier... how good is your grill cheese? She said get the 4 cheese it's cheesy and so good. That exactly what I wanted. Then I said I want the tomato soup bowl. But I want a large. So she I get the bowl with the bread on side. She said if you want more soup than what the bowl comes with. Get the bread bowl on side and order the bowl portion. I said okay, I'm going to take your word. I don't want to be disappointed! Sure enough. Picked up my food from the rapid pick up. Noticed by bag wasn't there nore my name on the qued list. I was given my bag with the seal open. I don't know the policy but, already a red flag. You guys have cameras so I'm pretty sure you can recall that since y'all called me a liar. I even tipped you ladies. Get rid of the rapid pick up container and start having your workers issue out the food. Y'all have too much trust in humanity. We use Panera for catering quite a bit . Spending thousands of dollars frequently. Today I ordered delivery of some bagels for our office staff and was really disappointed that the bagels were all cold like they just came out of the fridge . They were even hard to slice . I ordered them sliced and of course they weren't . Time to look for a new caterer ! read more

I am so DISGUSTED. I'm at Panera, ordering some breakfast, when I witness a cashier not only sneeze but rub her nose, touch the register, CONTINUE to rub her nose and then touch other surfaces. She never even washed her hands! It's about to be flu season, I'm about seven months pregnant and get this? SHE WAS THE SUPERVISOR ON DUTY. Her name is apparently Santa. I'm furious and so grossed out and made sure to report this to corporate. Makes me wonder what else they do out of plain site. Smh, you'd think infection control was a priority in food services but hey, guess you can't make assumptions. I hope to God management addresses this read more

Bathrooms are clean and accessible. Parking lot is small though, so it may be more convenient to park on the lot next to the Filipino market next door and just walk if you can't find any parking.

Their chicken katsu was nice and crispy. The price is reasonable for this spot and food is great!

I am not new to Panera Bread. I like everything that I've had there. So why the 1 star? Poor customer service and lack of consistency with sandwich preparations. I've been bragging to my coworkers about one of the sandwiches that I get on a regular basis. Today's sandwich had NO PESTO and 2 little tomato pieces. I called because I really did not want to drive back today. I called 4 times and got no answer so I had to go. Especially, since I had bragged about the sandwich and purchased one for my coworker. I explained that there was NO PESTO SAUCE and very little tomato on the sandwich. I got a "sorry we'll make you fresh ones". As an after thought I was offered a small coffee. SMALL? When I got the new sandwiches, they had a dab of pesto in the center of the bread. You would think that they would've spread it all over (LIKE IN THE PICTURE) especially when that was the complaint. I also informed them that I had called several times. "Oh, what happened?" What do you think happened? Obviously no one answered the phone. "Oh, I'll make sure they know." ?? Then as I walk to my car, still unhappy and vowing not to return to this location, I notice the employee taking several large take out bags to her car, a delivery perhaps? Could it be that my 2 little sandwiches didn't warrant their full attention? This is not the only Panera where great customer service is lacking. read more

I dropped off my dog at the groomer so I thought I'd get in a little work as I waited. Panera is usually a good choice as it is quiet and the food is decent. They've also got booths with outlets, so that's a plus. Being that it is the lunch hour I realize that there'd be a possibility that the place would be busy..... but the place ended up being really busy. Moreover, it's not the most accessible. If you are not going west on South you'd never know that it was there until you passed it by and by then you wouldn't be able to u-turn until half a mile down. It's hard to give chains anything more than 3 stars, because by definition they are all alike. As long as they meet their standards they should get their 3 stars. Anything above that depends on the locations accessibility, staff, and comfort level. Being that I've been to some really great Paneras, I can only compare them to each other. This place meets the standards, but nothing more. Still, a nice and quiet place to work. Bring a sweater if you plan to work at any Panera. It gets chilly. read more

My experience at Panera Bread in Cerritos, California, has been inconsistent. On my latest visit, I ordered the tuna salad sandwich, which was mediocre and unfortunately caused stomach discomfort. The cheddar broccoli soup was also disappointing due to its watery consistency, earning it a 4 out of 10. However, the customer service was exceptional, always friendly, deserving a perfect score. The cleanliness was somewhat satisfactory, rated 7 out of 10, with ample seating available. The atmosphere was pleasant, with many patrons working on their laptops, contributing to a cool vibe, scored 9 out of 10. Big fan of this place. The employees are very nice and always ask how you are doing. I usually go for the "you pick 2" with a half sandwich and caesar salad. The food is very consistent and always tastes delicious. The last time I was there the cashier mistakenly ordered me the wrong sandwich so when they delivered it I told them I wanted another sandwich and they said no problem and took that sandwich away and quickly brought me the correct sandwich. Panera Bread always delivers great quality, and this location is no exception! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a smile, and the service was outstanding. I ordered the Bacon Turkey Bravo Sandwich with a side of Autumn Squash Soup, and it was absolutely delicious! I like this location the most out of all the ones Ive been to.The parking is easy and there's a lot to do around and all within walking distnace. I like Cerritos anyways , very family-oriented. What can you say about Panera bread, its great. I love the cherry pastry! Thats what got me into P.B. Besides that, The Mediterranean Veggie Sandwich is amazing. This is a nice hangout spot to meet up with friends. A girl by the name of Roxy was very helpful and made me feel comfortable while there for a buisness meeting. I been to other Panera but this one really stands up with prompt service and nice area to do either work for school. As alluded to in my initial review, Chick-fil-A rewards members in the Greater LA area can get a free chicken sandwich anytime within the next 3-4 days after an LAFC home win as long as they open the app that same evening. There was also a promo involving the LA Angels, but it seems to have changed so that you'd actually have to go to their home games to be eligible. Not with LAFC, who just recently played their last home game of the year, at least for the regular season, so I figured in preparation for the season of thanks, I'll put out this review update as a thank you to both LAFC and Chick-fil-A for the partnership over the past few years. My last visit was on Saturday, the last day the reward could be redeemed, and I was planning to attend a community event nearby. It had been a pretty hectic day and even week for that matter, so I figured making Chick-fil-A my last stop before said event would make for a nice break from everything that was going on this past week. I arrived at about 4 PM, and there were a handful of employees behind the counter chatting with each other, yet no customer was in line. It took about a minute before one of those employees, Arem I believe, came over to the register to assist me. I feel at this location, the employees aren't as punctual at serving the customer, but once they do, their good service commences. However, good service may also accompany slow service, and in this case, it felt a little slower than the Lakewood location, which would normally be my go-to. Here, it took about 7 minutes, which may not seem that long, but I've usually gotten my sandwich a few minutes quicker at other locations, especially Lakewood. It wasn't even that busy inside, especially since it was an hour that's too late to be called lunch, but too early to be called dinner, so at peak hours, I would expect a longer wait for your meal, especially for a whole family. However, there was plenty of Halloween decor around the restaurant that made the wait more than manageable. The skeleton by the restrooms with a Krispy Kreme style hat and an orange "Chick-or-Treat" shirt was a really nice touch. Say hi to Bone-ita on your next visit this month, and she'll give you a mint (or two) in a bucket! If you're really nice, she'll also let you tap a special button on the bucket that will make the handle light up. The tables have been maintained pretty well with flower vases on most of them inside the restaurant. It might have been a thing even before my initial review, but you can actually order from your table on your mobile device, and then they'd bring your order out to you. With how slow they've been on my recent visits, I may have to try that next time I visit this location. Something different between this year and last is that for the sauces that come in rectangular tubs, you have to request them at the register when you place your order. In the past, anybody could just grab any number of them at the counter across from the register, but now, that counter will only have the more common condiments like mayo, mustard, ketchup, and Honey Roasted BBQ sauce. The Lakewood location did the same thing too, and I wouldn't be surprised if other locations followed suit as well. The chicken sandwich tasted just like how it should taste like, with pickles underneath the chicken to further enhance the taste profile of the sandwich. It's certainly not the best tasting chicken sandwich, but unless you hate pickles or meat in general, you just can't go wrong with the original since 1964, as stated on their insulated bags. This probably won't make a "It's the Little Things" segment on their website, but when I went to toss my trash into the trash bin, I saw there were two holes: one for regular waste, and one for green waste. I get befuddled at times deciding the type of waste between the two, but one of the nice employees told me it didn't matter. So I just tossed the waste through the regular waste hole, and he pulled out just one trash bin that was underneath both holes. Turns out they separate the trash in the back, which made me wonder why we'd even be asked to separate the two up front if they were going to do so later? We were both confused by this and shared a few laughs, which did ease up the tension that had been building up in my system this past week. Service was overall good nonetheless. I still recommend patronizing this Chick-fil-A in Cerritos, but do hope they can be more punctual and provide faster service on my next visits.

My biggest complaint is the price. While the food is good, it feels expensive for what you get. My mini sub and a bag of chips came out to over $12, and the sandwich is only about four inches long. Even a bag of chips is around $2.50, so the cost adds up quickly. The other thing I'd like to see improved is hand hygiene. I've noticed employees sometimes go from working the cash register back to making sandwiches. While they may put on a fresh pair of gloves, I'd personally prefer to see handwashing before handling food again. That's just my opinion, but it's something I pay attention to, especially when it comes to food preparation. Overall, the food is fresh, the restaurant is clean, and the sandwiches are consistently good. I just wish the prices were a little more reasonable and that there was a stronger emphasis on hand hygiene.

After partaking in each week's deals, I was able to score this free regular bowl, which was actually loaded onto my account after the third week, giving me an extra week to redeem my free bowl. I had known about this location for a while since I pass by the area from time to time. However, since it wasn't the closest location to me, I hadn't bothered to go. That is, until I was doing some shopping in the area and needed to get lunch. This Flame Broiler is in Cerritos on the northeast corner of Pioneer and Del Amo. It's in the same plaza as 7 Leaves, Caesar's Mongolian, Dollar Tree, and Crunch Fitness. Flame Broiler is on the east end of the lot, closest to the gym, perhaps strategically placed there so that gym-goers can simply walk over for some healthy eats after a tough workout. First and foremost, don't assume that this Flame Broiler is similar to its neighboring locations. That's because at this location, you're supposed to head to the right to start building your bowl, and then you pay for your order, kind of like Subway, Chipotle, Pieology, etc. At the Lakewood and Long Beach locations, you simply walk up to the counter to place your order, and that's pretty much what I did at this location since there wasn't anybody in line when I went after 2 PM on a Saturday. I strategically waited until 2 PM because that's when Flame Broiler's Happy Hour usually starts, at least on weekdays. However, the Happy Hour deals are different from location to location. I was hoping this location would have a Happy Hour deal that could get me a free drink with my free bowl, but no such deal can be found at this location. Instead, the Happy Hour deal here is a mini chicken/tofu veggie bowl and a regular fountain drink for only $7.99 + tax. And actually, the deal works all day Saturday and Sunday, so I wouldn't have needed to wait anyways for their Happy Hour deal, which unfortunately wouldn't be compatible with my free bowl reward. I went up to the cashier to let her know my intent to get the free bowl, and she rang me up similar to how I'd get rung up at the neighboring locations. White or brown rice? Vegetables and green onions? The free bowl could have been any protein, and I chose the Steak Bulgogi. It took her a minute to build my bowl, insert it into a plastic bag, and hand me my bag. Except for a few things. I didn't get any sauces, utensils, or napkins! I made sure to ask for them after I asked for a water cup, and she directed me to a nearby counter that has sauce pumps, small cups for the sauces, napkins, and forks. Even more of a deviation from the norm because I'm used to getting pre-filled cups of sauce to go with my order, but here, I had to get the sauces myself. Plus a fork and napkins, which could have been touched by other customers, certainly a hindrance to germaphobes as I'll allude to in the following paragraph. When I went up to get sauces, I noticed the cups on one side of the counter had drops of sauce on them, indicative of the lack of care from the employees here. None of them, not even the cashier who built my bowl, bothered to walk over there to inspect it for cleanliness. While I appreciate how we could have gotten as much sauce as we wanted for our orders, the carelessness of others keeping that counter clean was quite a turnoff. Like I had to grab a clean cup from one side of the counter before going to the other side to get a sauce I wanted. Plus, those cups are pretty small, so you may need to make a second trip to get more sauce(s) for your bowl. The bowl I had was on par with what they should taste like. In fact, I might even say the steak bulgogi was of better quality than when I tried it at the Long Beach location! However, I felt the cashier could have added a little more of the protein, vegetables, or the brown rice before placing a lid on top of my bowl. Minor complaint, though. I had parked my car at a spot right in front of next door Caribbean Juice & Mexican Food; that spot was a 30-minute only spot, but I only needed about 20 to eat my lunch. At the register, they have punch cards, which the cashier told me was more for customers who don't have the app. I was also wondering if my free bowl would count as a stamp, but she said it did not. The punch card is only good at this location, and you can only get a stamp when you pay full price for a regular bowl or plate. After 5 stamps, you get a free 20 oz drink; after 10 stamps, you get a free chicken bowl. Overall, not a bad location to go to, but that drink dispenser was kind of haunted! While I was eating, it randomly spit out ice when nobody was there. Celebrating Halloween a little early I see lol

The dressing is citrusy and sweet with a little kick. I love this combination. Staff is friendly esp Lauren, who serves us with a smile even when we become demanding seniors, sometimes. You know a caring server when you ask Lauren to take a group photo and she makes sure that everyone's face is seen and not blocked by another. She's a 10/10. The place is clean with tables wiped and servings set. Ambiance is bright, open, and quiet enough that a group of 8-10 seniors can carry on conversations and hear each other without screaming. The prices and portions are just right, esp the Lunch Duo menu. Needless to say, we're coming back here AGAIN for our next birthday group lunch.

The first time I had food from here was sometime back in 2012. The garlic bread was so flavorful and the pizza subs were stuffed. I'd had it several times since that first time and it never seemed to disappoint. Well fast forward to 2026 and something has changed. We had family in town, (the ones who introduced me to this place), and we decided to revisit an old favorite and made our way here. Maybe I should have been more worried when there was no one else in the restaurant besides the employees. We waited around 20-30 minutes for our food and no one else came in while we were there. I don't know what it was, but the food tasted nothing like I remember; both the pizza sub and garlic bread lacked major flavor and the bread seemed a bit hard. From what I can remember from the last time I had it, they've changed up the bread (which seems narrower now), the sauce (which seems like it packs less of a flavor punch) and the garlic seasoning (which seems a bit tame). The best thing we had from here was the fried zucchini. Everyone was so disappointed with the new flavors, that we had SO much of the garlic bread left and it only got eaten after I'd toasted, seasoned, and added cheese to it. Would I come back? Not sure. Maybe if I'm in the area, and craving some good fried zucchini, but to make a 30+ minute drive out here...I don't think so.
