Recently, I realized I had left my purse there and was so relieved to learn that it had been safely kept for nearly two weeks!!! When I picked it up, everything was still inside. I'm not really a soccer fan, but if I were, LAFC would likely be my favorite team only because of Chick-fil-A. Sorry LA Galaxy fans lol. As alluded to in my initial review, Chick-fil-A rewards members in the Greater LA area can get a free chicken sandwich anytime within the next 3-4 days after an LAFC home win as long as they open the app that same evening. There was also a promo involving the LA Angels, but it seems to have changed so that you'd actually have to go to their home games to be eligible. Not with LAFC, who just recently played their last home game of the year, at least for the regular season, so I figured in preparation for the season of thanks, I'll put out this review update as a thank you to both LAFC and Chick-fil-A for the partnership over the past few years. My last visit was on Saturday, the last day the reward could be redeemed, and I was planning to attend a community event nearby. It had been a pretty hectic day and even week for that matter, so I figured making Chick-fil-A my last stop before said event would make for a nice break from everything that was going on this past week. I arrived at about 4 PM, and there were a handful of employees behind the counter chatting with each other, yet no customer was in line. It took about a minute before one of those employees, Arem I believe, came over to the register to assist me. I feel at this location, the employees aren't as punctual at serving the customer, but once they do, their good service commences. However, good service may also accompany slow service, and in this case, it felt a little slower than the Lakewood location, which would normally be my go-to. Here, it took about 7 minutes, which may not seem that long, but I've usually gotten my sandwich a few minutes quicker at other locations, especially Lakewood. It wasn't even that busy inside, especially since it was an hour that's too late to be called lunch, but too early to be called dinner, so at peak hours, I would expect a longer wait for your meal, especially for a whole family. However, there was plenty of Halloween decor around the restaurant that made the wait more than manageable. The skeleton by the restrooms with a Krispy Kreme style hat and an orange "Chick-or-Treat" shirt was a really nice touch. Say hi to Bone-ita on your next visit this month, and she'll give you a mint (or two) in a bucket! If you're really nice, she'll also let you tap a special button on the bucket that will make the handle light up. The tables have been maintained pretty well with flower vases on most of them inside the restaurant. It might have been a thing even before my initial review, but you can actually order from your table on your mobile device, and then they'd bring your order out to you. With how slow they've been on my recent visits, I may have to try that next time I visit this location. Something different between this year and last is that for the sauces that come in rectangular tubs, you have to request them at the register when you place your order. In the past, anybody could just grab any number of them at the counter across from the register, but now, that counter will only have the more common condiments like mayo, mustard, ketchup, and Honey Roasted BBQ sauce. The Lakewood location did the same thing too, and I wouldn't be surprised if other locations followed suit as well. The chicken sandwich tasted just like how it should taste like, with pickles underneath the chicken to further enhance the taste profile of the sandwich. It's certainly not the best tasting chicken sandwich, but unless you hate pickles or meat in general, you just can't go wrong with the original since 1964, as stated on their insulated bags. This probably won't make a "It's the Little Things" segment on their website, but when I went to toss my trash into the trash bin, I saw there were two holes: one for regular waste, and one for green waste. I get befuddled at times deciding the type of waste between the two, but one of the nice employees told me it didn't matter. So I just tossed the waste through the regular waste hole, and he pulled out just one trash bin that was underneath both holes. Turns out they separate the trash in the back, which made me wonder why we'd even be asked to separate the two up front if they were going to do so later? We were both confused by this and shared a few laughs, which did ease up the tension that had been building up in my system this past week. Service was overall good nonetheless. I still recommend patronizing this Chick-fil-A in Cerritos, but do hope they can be more punctual and provide faster service on my next visits. read more

Very rare that I write a 1-star review. I was charging my Tesla and walked over to grab a salad from this place. I brought it back to the office, and while I usually don't mind the occasional wilted leaf, this was unacceptable. I had to stop eating and dig through the entire salad to remove the bad lettuce--about a quarter of it was inedible. These greens looked like they were at least a week old. Our family went for an event for dad and daughter(s) date night. It was really fun! We ordered via the app and took a seat. The kids were able to take photos, make a bracelet, and get a caricature. They had so much fun! They love the food of course and the kids meal was perfect for them. This place is usually really good with orders but today the lady assisting me was off. I could tell from her initial asking me for my order. I ordered a #3 spicy chicken biscuit ENTREE with a diet lemonade. I said that 3 times. Well, gifts the window. The gentleman that handed me my order was very nice and chipper, which is nice on the morning. I went to pull out my food and no hash browns. We went here on Veteran's Day and I was surprised to see that they had some festivities going on like balloon animal making. The cashier was friendly though seemed confused by our order and ended up forgetting our fries so we had to order that separately. Everything was very organized like the sauce packets where you could grab your own ketchup and hot sauce. They kept the chik fil a sauces behind the counter. If you don't want to wait in line you can also order via your phone at your table which is cool. Someone even came by and asked if we wanted a refill on our drinks and took our trash for us. We love chick fil a and the food here is good. But my issue with this specific location is that they can NEVER get my order right when I order via drive thru. The last 4 times I have ordered they have messed up my order and it's becoming very frustrating. I have toddle and I'm pregnant and I don't have the time to get back in the car and drive all the way back to submit a complaint. The second reason why this bothers me is because I pay for the extra items and when I don't get them it's very frustrating. The person attending to us through the drive-through was so busy doing other things that really didn't even take the time to put in the order right. Additionally, when we went to pay for it. I ordered my usual order on the app. Part of the order was a cob salad. Got the order home and discovered that they had forgotten the salad dressing. I called the restaurant and spoke with the manager. She said "I guess you don't want to come back here for the dressing. I will credit your rewards so you can get one free the next time you order." This time I changed my order to the cobb salad. I feel like the wrap seems to have gotten smaller over the years and for the increased price for it, not worth it. I come here at least twice a week because they have a Tesla supercharging station nearby and it's walking distance. The service is normal and the food is slightly below other Chik. My biggest gripe is about two things and they are significant to me. First is no internet. Every other location has internet whether it be chik or not. Second is that they only have one toilet. Don't serve breakfast and expect people not to take shit. There is always a god damn line for use of toilet because we all have to take a shit after we eat your god damn food !!!!!! read more

Please do not eat here. Yesterday 12/8/2024 my husband and I shared a 4 tender box. We bit into a tender and the center of it was a dark green/ black color. It was absolutely disgusting and made us both sick to our stomachs. I'm not talking about even a spot of green and black like the whole center of the chicken strip was an olive green black color. I will never eat chik fila again in my life. I googled it and it said that happens when the chicken has green muscle disease which is a disease that happens when there's a bunch of chickens raised in a small space.
