Always the best food, fresh & absolutely quick!! My son & I come here after a hard workout at EOS! Best protein options for their wraps rather than chugging some nasty powder protein. Friendly service is always a plus!

THE WRAP with steak $14.40 +$3.00. As you can see, it's pretty big comparing it to the plastic fork and knife.

Took advantage of the observed holiday as we cleared out our storage and had the whole family to help. Hard work brings major hunger so we wanted something fast and hoping they weren't crowded. We decided to go to TKS aka The Kebab shop. I've been here once before and remembered it was good, but pricey. I guess it did not bother me as much this time as prices everywhere has been going up. What I really liked here is their sirloin steak kebab wrap with their yogurt dill sauce. The wrap is a very good size, but with all the lifting and moving out of our storage, it was no problem finishing it off.

We love the family pack from the Kebab Shop! It is delicious, with generous portions, and at a reasonable price. One choice of protein (carved lamb beef is our choice), a salad, saffron or brown rice, pita bread (yum!), and the amazing sauces we love. There is plenty for two meals for the 3 of us. We ordered to go, the Service was excellent, the lady confirmed my order at ordering and when I picked up. They also have good quality utensils, we declined since we already have them at home. Plenty of free and convenient parking.

This was the first TKS I went to when they first opened in the area (after San Diego). I was in the area and craving Mediterranean and decided to come here. I routinely go the Seal Beach TKS. You can order in person or use the kiosk. Very simple process. The staff is very friendly and the food is prepared fresh. I ordered a plate, Chicken Sharwarma, salad and fries. It comes with a warm pita. I love their garlic yogurt sauces and they have a few other to select or self serve from containers. There is plenty of tables for dining in. It's located next store to Target with a shared parking lot. Easy parking!

BIRTHDAY MONTH=BIRTHDAY COUPONS=HAPPY RODNEY $5 Birthday Month promo for Rewards members Over the years, I've used the $5 promo for fries, falafel, tabbouleh & salad. This year, I was still full from other birthday promos I redeemed earlier, so decided a prebiotic soda would do the trick. Poppi Punch Pop $3+- Tastes like punch, yet only 5 grams sugar! Yippee! This was my first time trying Poppi, and I became a fan. I stay away from sugary beverages, so 5 grams sugar made me feel better about myself. Service was great. The cashier was quick to scan my app, and I soon was gulping down my cold beverage. Plenty of seating inside, The Kebab Shop is located next to Target, where it occupies the former Garden Center. The Kebab Shop provides fresh & fit Mediterranean food, which I've availed myself of, numerous times. Having the $5 Birthday Month promo is a great excuse to come in, and order whatever tickles the fancy.

I love this place and the food here, but the girl at the cashier has an awful attitude. First, I tried to use my rewards and she looked annoyed by it and even canceled it when I said I wanted to use a reward. Then when I paid for my food I stood there to make another order to use a reward and said I had to purchase something to even use the reward. I ordered the kids meal and she tried to give my mom and I a water cup! Insane! How are you going to give me a water cup when I paid for my whole meal that comes with a drink? She claimed because we're not kids we can't get a drink, but yet SOLD me the kids MEAL?! I then asked for the drinks that I paid for and she gave it to me. Afterwards, she continued to have attitude and saw her also have a problem with another customer. I love this place but she did not make us feel welcomed and tried to scam us from what we paid for. Not sure I will be coming back after this experience!

I had high hopes for this place. Found this spot as I went on a Target run as it's next door to it. I love Mediterranean food so I was pretty excited. I got the San Diego wrap. It's got fries and feta inside. I once ordered a similar wrap at a place in. The Northridge area years ago and I loved it so I was hoping it was going to be just as delicious. It lacked a really flavorful garlic sauce or something because it was a bit bland. They have sauces that you can add to it but maybe my expectations were a little higher. The size of the wrap was pretty big so it's a decent price. I'd probably go back again though to order something else and give them another shot.

This is the second time I've been to this location of the Kebab Shop and I would say that it has consistently been a solid place to grab a quick, healthy ish eat while still being delicious. During my last visit, I ordered the wrap with carved chicken. I forgot to take a picture of it, but trust me when I say that this wrap is HUGE. My husband and I split the wrap as a pre gym snack and we were really satisfied. Make sure that you hit up the sauce bar when you're here because the sauces are DELICIOUS!! My only complaint is that I wish the protein to veggie ratio was a bit better because I had bites that were only veggies, however, they do have an option for extra protein, so that may be the move for me next time. Although this is a casual place, the store itself is on the modern end and is clean, which I appreciated. Service here is minimal, but friendly. The store itself is located in the same plaza as Target so there is plenty of parking.

    Chicken shawarma wrap

Randomly wanted mediterranean food, so decided to goto the kebab shop. Parking lot was packed, I should have parked in the larger parking area by Target instead of going into the small lot where the kebob shop shares with other businesses (that are clearly doing very well!) The kebab shop was luckily pretty empty, so I was able to take my time ordering. I ended up with a chicken shawarma wrap. The wrap was huge and was made fresh! Everything tasted good and somewhat healthy (minus me drenching every bite in their sauces). The only thing I will say is, my wrap had a burnt taste to it. If I wasn't enjoying the wrap as much as I was, I probably would have taken the time out to rip off the burnt parts...but the wrap itself was so good that I ended up scoffing it down and regretting after the wrap ended up inside my belly. Lol. Hopefully next time I won't run into this burnt wrap situation and I can scoff down a wrap that just tastes fresh.

This spot has plenty of seats and great for bigger parties. It's clean and the music was my type of music. I love that they don't play it so loud you have to yell through the music. The service is excellent from the cashier to the man who made the wrap. The cashier was helpful as I figured out what poppi soda to get and he told me to let him know if I didn't like it. And the man who made our wrap was awesome enough to take it to our table. The food is great as always the steak San Diego wrap is great as always. So delicious. I love this location.

Service was interesting as there is not really anyone at the front and basically you order from a computer and then get your food after. I personally prefer a person taking my order v a pc. Now to the food review. I think the grains bowl is Fresh and delicious. The rice was soft and the salad was also fresh and did not get soggy. I also added fries to my bowl and it made it 10x better. Overall it is filling and the ingredients taste fresh. I would def be back. The meat was super flavorful. And I enjoyed the sauces on top of it. They all worked very well together. It is around $20 but worth it in my opinion as you get a lot. There is a bunch of seating everywhere and there are people who bring you your plate when it is ready. Overall cool place would come back again.

    Catherine C.

Got the steak and chicken shawarma wraps. They were very tasty. The only problem is the meat to vegetable ratio is 30:70 That's 30% meat and 70% vegetables which is a big no no for me. When you look at the wrap, you will see that it is fully stuffed with vegetables and barely any meat.

    Carolyn C.

I took updated photos of the menu to share! First you choose between a wrap, bowl, or plate. Next, you choose your sides and protein. Marcello helped me review the updated menu and it's pretty simple. The signature OG garlic sauce and jalapeño cream sauce were delicious to top off my chicken shawarma plate. Was a bit on the dry side but the sauces helped a lot. My daughter ordered the grilled beef kofta bowl and she added hummus along with the OG yogurt sauce, red cabbage slaw, tomato, cucumber, picked onions, and romaine lettuce. She really liked her bowl. The restaurant itself was nicely maintained. Lots of seating and there's a fountain drink station for refills. Lots of pick up orders when I visited. Staff were friendly and helpful. We will visit again and maybe dine in next time. Side note: children 10 and under eat free on Saturdays with the purchase of a regular entree.

Their second location in LA is in Hawaiian Gardens. Gorgeous interior, perfect place for a date or gathering. They have large spaces and private areas inside. The food was delicious and so are their mocktails!! Wowww I was very impressed with the double smoked apple cocktail and highly recommend trying it. All their dishes are made with so much detail. And, many of the dishes have a very visual interactive moment like their table side bhel puri, puri, or their chicken biriyani and smoked beef. From modern authentic dishes to street food they have it all. The sloppy khans were also delicious! I really enjoyed their curry dishes with the garlic naan. They have so many dishes to try! I cannot wait to come back to try their butter chicken and paneer as well! For dessert we tried their rose milk cake and the chocolate samosas. Both were satisfying and the milk cake felt really special. Huge thank you to Ali, who has such a vibrant energy about him!!!!! The larger, open space was a huge plus compared to the more compact Fullerton location, and the new items like chapli kebabs and different karahi variations were refreshing. This easily could have become our favorite location. Unfortunately, since Shor rebranded as Khan Saab, the overall experience seems to have gone downhill. The staff themselves are always nice, genuine, and willing to help, but once the restaurant gets even a little busy, they seem overwhelmed and clearly understaffed. Compared to the original Fullerton location, especially when more of the familiar OG staff were there, the service does not feel as polished or consistent. Our last visit was particularly disappointing. We ordered chicken karahi, chicken tikka masala, biryani, and bhel puri. The bhel puri was extremely dry with very little sauce and tasted poorly balanced. Nearly everything else, including the biryani, karahi, and tikka masala, was overly salty. The chicken karahi was the biggest disappointment. It is usually one of my go-to dishes at Khan Saab, but this time it barely tasted like karahi and was more like a generic curry. I understand this location does not offer boneless karahi, which is completely fine, but the flavor and quality should still be consistent. This location has so much potential because of the space and the Khan Saab name, but the consistency in both food and service just isn't there right now. I'll probably avoid this location for a while and hope ownership and Chef Ali Mookhi take notice and bring the standards back up.

Having lived in Beijing and eaten Uyghur-style food out in the streets and in established…read morerestaurants as I traveled around, I was unbelievably excited to find this restaurant near home. However, it left me wanting more. I do wonder about the plethora of high reviews, because from my standpoint of having had a lot of Uyghur-style food abroad and my husband who had never had any, this place disappointed in taste. Ambiance (3/5): It was large, brightly lit and clean, but being so empty, it felt kind of sterile in there due to the lack of air flow and a TV blaring Spanish infomercials. I think it would add to the mood if they played some light instrumental music. Service (3/5): There was one waitress the whole time we were there and other than taking our order, she didn't come by much. I had to go to her twice to ask for things, including asking about rice. It was weird that she let us order without letting us know that we had to order rice separately. Yes...unlike most Chinese restaurants that automatically serve complimentary rice with main course dishes, you have to order rice and it's charged per bowl. Yikes. Food (3/5): We ordered the spicy Sichuanese boiled fish, lamb skewers and popcorn chicken. Admittedly, the fish and chicken dish aren't very Uyghur, and for that, it's our fault. However, the fish just was not close to anything I've had elsewhere, and not in a good way. It wasn't that spicy and it didn't have that signature mala kick. It was also salty. This was probably the most disappointing. The popcorn chicken was called something else on the menu, but it was essentially a big order of what you'd get at a Taiwanese boba shop. My kids loved it but I questioned why we ordered boba shop food on a dish. If anything were to right the wrongs, I expected the lamb skewers to be perfect at the price for four and it being a major Uyghur specialty. While the smell of the spices was accurate, the chunks of lamb were dry and tough that even my husband who had zero expectations mentioned what I noticed. I'm giving this place 3 stars for it being a unique restaurant that tries, but at the price point and quality of food, we both didn't feel that it would be a place we would visit again. The empty restaurant during peak dinner hours might have been a hint. But if you have restrictions such as needing to eat Halal food, then this restaurant offers some different dishes, so that may be its huge plus.

I don't come to this location much because it's not as convenient for me, but I've noticed that it's not busy here at all. There was only one other table besides ours during peak lunch time 12:30 pm on a tuesday. That's the perk of it, but there are other small details I've noticed that are different from other locations, one of them being the thickness of the green onions. I usually love how thinly sliced they are at Mokkoji but this location has them very big, coarsely chopped. Also the toro we got today was very fatty, a plus for those who enjoy fatty meats. I prefer the flat iron more lately bc of how lean yet flavorful it is. I noticed there were multiple tv's on the wall so it's nice to have and watch any games going on if you happen to need to. anyways, ultimately, mokkoji is my fave shabu of all time and this location is closest to home (but still kinda far) when i'm at my bf's i go to the irvine location more ~ Wanted to give a shoutout to the friendly and helpful server Caitlyn who helped me refill my kale multiple times throughout the meal! loved her attitude :)

My go to order is to get a "special for 2" of their "share beef set" to share with my wife. She likes the Spicy Pork Broth and I like the Spicy Sukiyaki. It's Japanese spicy, so it's more flavorful than spicy. If you want real spice, then you could ask the server for extra spice and they'll use a medicine dropper to add a few drops of serious heat into your sauces. In our shared meal, we prefer their marinated "toro fatty belly" and it comes with a huge order of meat, 2 pints of draft beer, an appetizer, and ice cream ($87 for two persons). If you choose a nice, fatty cut, then you will be pretty satisfied with the meat quality. My reasoning for this being 4 stars rather than 5 stars is that if you were to choose the wrong type of meat or if you don't order enough meat, then your experience will likely be suboptimal. Apparently, you can get refills on the veggies, so I'll try to ask for that next time! What I love about Mokkoji, however, is that the quality and value that I get with the special is ample for two and it's delicious!

We were in the area and craving some tacos…read more Wow! I was pleasantly surprised by how great our experience was. We ordered the O.G. Burrito with carne asada ($13.99) and the O.G. Plate with beef birria ($18.99). While the food took a little while to come out, it was absolutely worth the wait. The O.G. Burrito was generously filled with cheese, rice, beans, and tender carne asada, all wrapped in a perfectly toasted tortilla. The meat had a wonderful smoky flavor, and the burrito itself was huge, making it a filling and satisfying meal for the price. The highlight for me was the O.G. Plate, which came with a taco, quesataco, mulita, and quesadilla. Everything was loaded with meat and toppings, served piping hot, and cooked to crispy perfection. Every single item on the plate was delicious! I also loved that both entrées came with pickled radishes, red and green salsa, and plenty of lime wedges. The service was excellent as well. The staff was attentive and quick to accommodate anything we needed. The restaurant is located in a strip mall with plenty of parking. While indoor seating is limited, there is ample outdoor seating. Overall, Papis Tacos and Churros was an unexpected gem that delivered on great food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I've been thinking about this meal ever since, and I can't wait to come back!

From the moment you arrive, the vibe is lively and welcoming--perfect for grabbing a quick bite or sitting down to enjoy a full meal. Let's talk about the star of the show: the birria tacos... these are straight fire . The tortillas are perfectly crisped on the outside, soaked in rich, flavorful consommé, and packed with tender, juicy meat that's seasoned to perfection. Every bite is loaded with savory goodness, and dipping them into that deep, flavorful broth just takes it to another level. Easily some of the best birria tacos around. And you cannot leave without trying the churros. Fresh, warm, and coated in just the right amount of cinnamon sugar, they're the perfect sweet ending to an already amazing meal. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside--exactly how churros should be. Overall, Papi Tacos & Churros delivers on flavor, quality, and experience. Whether you're going for the hype or just looking for legit, delicious food, this spot does not disappoint. Definitely coming back for more!

Recently rediscovered Dimassi's earlier this year after I forgot about it and went to visit their…read moreAnaheim Hills location which has since closed (RIP). Not sure if they've improved or what, but it was really tasty by buffet standards and I instantly became a fan of Dimassi's despite my 2 star review from 3 years ago. Since then I've been coming here every other week lol I'm such a huge fan of the large selection of salads and vegetables they have to choose from. I love the parsley salad, cabbage, roasted vegetables, the vegetable soup, and all the onions/tomatoes they have in some of the dishes on the buffet line. I LOVE rice (wow what a surprise) but here? It's such an afterthought for me. I will gladly eat all the roasted chicken, lamb shank, kofta, etc. with all the salads and veggies. It's the healthiest buffet I've ever been to. Sure, I might finish with a few bites of rice or a falafel or two, but I always leave here feeling healthy which is crazy to say after eating a buffet. No one is getting fat off vegetables and braised lamb and chicken. Well, maybe if you eat enough of the fried chicken (which is great by the way). I'm really bummed the Anaheim Hills location closed down, but I have no problems driving over here instead! I think after my next visit I'll finally get $15 off lmao. I told you I come here way too much.

There is a bell that you have to ring in order to get one. Remember to get it! It's very tender. The salad section was great. It had a good variety of greens, and they were all dressed and seasoned very well. I liked the big cucumber salad and the kale with pita chip salad the most. The pita chips as croutons were very nice and crispy. The hummus section was awesome. My favorite one is the green one. I think it's avocado? You should try them all! Don't get filled up on it, though--save room for the meats! Besides the lamb shank, I liked the kofta and the gyro. The first batch of kofta I had was very juicy, and the second was more on the drier side. Same goes for the gyro. It was cut kind of thick and was a little dry. The garlic sauce they have went very well with it! I also got the beets, and they were my favorite item. They were sweet and tender, cooked to perfection. The cantaloupe and honeydew were both very sweet. I think that's kind of hard to come by these days. Their pudding was okay, not my favorite. I also tried the baklava, and it is definitely one of the better ones I have ever had. Definitely recommend this place, and I will come back.
