We've been here a good five times and I'm finally writing a review--better late than never. Parking is easy and there's a decent amount of seating both inside and outside. Ambience-wise, it's your typical fast-casual, in-and-out vibe. Nothing fancy and not super pretty inside, but don't let that fool you. Once the food hits your tongue, it's game over. Hubby and I are creatures of habit and always order our usual plates. He gets the beef and lamb kebabs, and honestly the portion sizes are so generous that our plates are interchangeable every single visit. A must-have side is their Mediterranean salad--get the large so you can save some for leftovers the next day. For my plate, I always order the red cabbage, hummus, sumac onions, and of course the Mediterranean salad, and it is always absolutely delicious. For the entrée, I go with the chicken and beef shawarma. The meat is perfectly shredded and pairs so well with their fluffy rice, plus the generous amount of garlic and tahini sauce. The only downside I would say is the pita bread. I personally don't care for how dry it can be, but to be fair, the best pita bread I've ever had was in Athens, Greece, so it's very hard to compare when most pita breads here are premade. This is one of my favorite Mediterranean restaurants. They have a whole page of sides to choose from. I had the Mediterranean salad and the Mediterranean potato salad with rice and chicken. I didn't specify chicken kebab and they gave me a different chicken and I didn't like it. It was my fault. They were nice enough to cook me chicken kebabs to replace the other ones. It was totally delicious. Everything here is so good. The people are really nice and they go out of their way to make sure that you're happy with your meal. As much as I want this place to be authentic I am having doubts, their portion is good and definitely on the pricey side for a take out place. I also feel their meat is too saucy and always drenched too much in humus or that tangy sauce which you can't take the grilling or charbroiled taste anymore. I really liked it and i wrote a review about it. I am back this time for some Kabab. We were a party of 3. It is customary in the middle eastern culture to always share food with friends and family. So, i ordered a few things to share. To start with. I ordered a plate of hummus with beef. This dish is eaten with Pita Bread. The dish was good but it is disappointing that they only give you 1 pita bread. Which is hardly enough for half the size of the dish. So, more pita bread please. Then i ordered a Fatoush salad which is a traditional middle eastern salad. This one was made with tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, green bell pepper and topped with fried pita chips. The dressing is a lemony vinaigrette. I also ordered some skewers of chicken, beef and kafta kabab. The Kafta is ground beef mixed with parsley, onions and various spices and then grilled. Ordered the veggie entree with hummus and beet salad and subbed out my pita for some dolmas (thanks for letting me do that!). The dolmas were a bit too oily for me and somewhat tart; they were not my favorite. The veggies were cooked well, the hummus was smooth, and the beet salad was super tasty (I would have also maybe added some nice spice/seasoning to it instead of what just felt like plain beets). I used to get this kind of food from my local Zankou Chicken but lately they have not been very consistent, but this place was Reffered to by a co-worker and I have to say it is currently our favorite go to at this time. I used GrubHub and ordered 3 skewers - lamb, beef & shrimp. Buba ganush and Mediterranean salad. I forgot to order medium rare which I always prefer but even not cooked to my liking, the lamb & beaf surprisingly had no chewy gristle and were probably the least gamey tasting that I have ever had. I eat a lot of lamb too. Can't wait to order it medium rare next time. Obviously the shrimp was good, I dont believe I have ever had bad shrimp, as well as the Mediterranean salad.
