This location is located in a big plaza so there's plenty of parking. Came here on Sunday and there was a wait for about 30 minutes and so they get your number down and they text you when your table is ready. Staff was nice and hospitable, and the food came out promptly. We ordered the beef koobideh plate(2 skewers) includes race, grilled vegetables in your choice of salad. The sampler appetizer which comes with three types of hummus, tzatziki, falafel, Caprese salad, and pieces of pita bread, but we also asked for slices of cucumber to dip with as well, which is available upon request. The food is always good and fresh here so if you're looking for a good Mediterranean cuisine, they've got good options here for the whole family to enjoy. They also have another location in downtown Long Beach as well.
I've been to Panini Kebab Grill twice in the last month, even though it's down in Long Beach. That speaks to the variety that is available there and what makes it a good dining option. The first time I went, I went and met up with a former coworker for lunch, and we had a great time. I ordered the strawberry date salad with chicken, which was nice and refreshing. The second time actually took a family member there for a birthday dinner. I ended up getting the chicken shish kebab. That plate came with rice, salad, and several pieces of chicken. It was very, very filling. Additionally, we saw another table having a little birthday celebration. So we requested the same and they came and sang to my family member, which was really nice - and they comped our ice cream sundae. Definitely would recommend, definitely would go back again, when I'm in the Long Beach area. Afterwords, there's plenty of places around for dessert if you are thinking of that too!
Food is delish! Ordered chicken & beef kabob. It comes with salad & rice and yummy sauce. Be careful with the food I encounter with some hard part of the food. I'm not sure if it's bone or rock. Service is good. Adrian is seems like his by himself serving. He has help with water boy. Ambiance is good. I love the outdoor patio. It's a must to try. Thank you!
Panini Kabob is on my top list in terms of service and quality. Before I entered, the outside already looked so modern with an exquisite addition of Mediterranean cuisine style. I waited for the waiter to finish serving the tables. I assume that today was a busy day for the restaurant so I patiently waited for a few seconds. Didn't wait too long and I was immediately seated near the door. The tables are cleaned and the inside ambiance feels like a modern day tavern. From the center, the kitchen is visible, with winery stacked just above the counter. Quite convenient and pleasant. There are tons of paintings all around the inside of the restaurant. Outside, there is a nice patio with little red lights that illuminate the front. Ordered the Chicken Wrap. The food arrived at perfect time, but what made the experience more remarkable was not only the quality of the food, but how kind and respectful the waiter was. He was open to assist to every need and very considerate of the orders. The chefs also did a good job with making the chicken very flavorful and merging the taste of the fresh vegetables with the tenderness of the chicken. Another highly satisfying dinner at Panini Kebab grill. The food is always on point. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. The restaurant is always packed and lively. I Love the music selection that plays in the background. The atmosphere is chill, warm and inviting. The service is excellent and comes with a smile. Today I tried the Lamb Kebab for the first time. It was cooked medium and was super tender. I am a regular here. I Love panini Kebab Grill and I always recommend it.
Ambiance: Moderate noise, colorful picture frames inside, patio tables & heaters for outside vibe (1 star). Service: Outstanding service! I arrived in the late evening and upon entering I was about to sit down at a table, and the hostess stated if you sit here the air from the door can be really cold. This may not seem like much but to me it meant a lot, because I can stand being cold Waitress was efficient and quick (2 stars). Food: For a starter, the FALAFEL COMBO APPETIZER was freshly made. For Entrees, Strawberry Date Salad with added salmon and CHICKEN PESTO PANINI (a must try) was sooo delicious!! For dessert, Baclava for the win (3 stars)! Today, my family and I had lunch at Panini Kabob Grill for the first time. It's actually funny that it took me this long to try it, especially knowing how many people love this place. But today was finally the day and it did not disappoint. From the moment we sat down, we were blown away by the wonderful service. Our waitress, Celeste, was truly the highlight of our visit. She was so attentive and had that rare, comforting presence...like someone you've known for years, even though you just met. We had a few questions about the menu, and she confidently walked us through everything, offering thoughtful recommendations that we all ended up loving. We ordered the Atlantic salmon kabob plate, the flat iron kabob plate, and the meat lovers kabob plate. Every dish was cooked to perfection. The meats were incredibly moist and flavorful, with a beautiful char from the grill on the outside while staying tender and juicy inside. The basmati rice was absolutely delicious...fluffy, buttery, and a perfect complement to the plates. Definitely a 10/10. My mom ordered the strawberry date salad and couldn't stop raving about it. Another 10/10. I also tried the trio of hummus with pita. The hummus itself was great, but I'd give this dish a 7/10 because the pita wasn't anything special. It was a bit cold and tasted store-bought. That said, I have to circle back to Celeste because she truly made our experience exceptional. She is hands-down a star server...the kind of person who makes you want to come back. You just wish there were more people like her. We'll definitely be returning.
GOOD DEAL Mediterranean food is always a bit different. This one is Turkish/ Italian inspired. You got the usual hummus and kabobs. Falafels all around and all that. This review is for the family style. It's 54.99 and it's enough food for 3-4 people. Comes with two salads ( but extra for the strawberry date salad ) and a whole bunch of chicken kabobs on a platter of rice. Check out the photos. It was lacking sauces, or maybe they didn't ask. Fortunately we also ordered the falafel combo and that came with tzatziki and hummus. Service is okay.
The food is alway good. Service was a little all over the place. This was my first time at this location. I've been to plenty of the others scattered throughout. Location wise, it's great as it's literally in the middle of everything. Part of the Long Beach Exchange and right across the street from The Hanger. They have outdoor patio seating but there was construction going on so it wasn't utilized. Let me say, it was busy. Good for them. It was just after 12 when we walked in. The whole restaurants was packed on both side. It seemed like there was only one person working when we arrived. We got seated as there was an open table but one of the booth was emptied. Asked the waiter if we could have that instead but she said it was for 5 people so we couldn't have it. It was basically you sit where you're told. Anyways, the menu is great. We always start off with the hummus trio. Three massive scoops of hummus with slices of pitas. Each one was excellent in its own way. We had to order extra pita as it was a good amount left over. Entrees, we shared the meat lover, chicken skewers with grilled veggies and a beef skewers. Served with two items which we went with the Greek salad and basmati rice. Meat was tender and juicy. Flavored and seasoned well. It's alway between this dish and the salmon skewers. Food is alway great. It was quite busy when we walked in so seating was basically not an option but towards the end of our meal, people were pretty much sitting wherever as it started to die down. It's prime location at this spot which was quite nice.
I love panini kabob... this is my favorite location. Everything is so fresh and you can tell. If I'm ever craving Mediterranean food, I will be here. Parking is easy to find, always find it near the location. I always order the entree which comes with your choice of rice and salad. My go to is the beef koobideh skewers (I get two because I share this plate with my husband because it comes with a lot of food!) but they also offer 1 skewer which is enough in my opinion. They are very generous when it comes to portion sizes, they do not skimp out on the rice or salad. It also comes with grilled vegetables and side of tzatziki. I'm not vegetarian or anything but I get the Vegetable Kabob which comes with hummus but I switch it for tzatziki. This comes with zucchini, mushroom, squash, and the traditional tomato, onion, and bell peppers that comes with every kabob entree. My mom enjoys the salmon kabob and like I said they are very generous with the portions... my mom always to gos because it's a lot of food. I love the pita as well, they have appetizers that have more pita/hummus/tzatziki but I just like a small portion and they have if you ask for just a small side of the pita (picture shown). I also always get their strawberry lemonade too. I always recommend this place to everyone. Service is always great, and very clean. It's gets a lot of light indoors but they also have outside seating. Once you try this place, you'll be a fan like me.
My husband picked me up after a flight and the Long Beach Exchange is near by. He'd been before and wanted me to try it. I ordered the Shrimp Kabob plate with Strawberry Date salad. ($22.98) He got the Flat Iron Kabob plate with the same salad. ($22.98) I was hard pressed to find the dates in my salad, my husband faired better. The shrimp were fine, my husband enjoyed his Flat Iron kabob. For me the meal was okay and the total was $50.79 pre-tip. We only had water, just the two entrees.
Whenever my family and I cannot decide on what to eat when we want to skip making a mess in our own kitchen and also avoid fast food drive throughs, this is our go to choice. The family platters are always a hit and I feel good about feeding my family a balanced meal that I didn't have to cook myself. Their choice of two salads - we usually go with the Mediterranean salad and the Caesar salad to satisfy our veggie needs. Then it's the perfect basmati rice and the chicken skewers that are perfect... especially alongside the grilled vegetables that go with it. Just... perfect! If you like spicy though, the hot sauce that they offer just doesn't do it enough for me. If I know that I'm coming here, I just throw a bottle of hot sauce in my purse and problem solved! Oh... and the breakfast family style is always a good choice too! Huge variety and just perfect for a family of 4! Overall, solid choice!

Man, Panini Kabob Grill just never disappoints. Every time I come here, I'm reminded why it's one of my favorite Mediterranean spots. There are so many different kebabs to choose from, and I've yet to have one that wasn't delicious. My personal favorites are the steak and the chicken--both are incredibly tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients in every bite. One thing you absolutely cannot skip is the edamame hummus. I had never even heard of edamame hummus before coming here, and now I can't believe I went so long without trying it. It was smooth, fresh, and full of flavor while putting such a unique twist on traditional hummus. It's one of those dishes that completely changes your expectations and has you thinking about it long after you've left the restaurant. On top of the amazing food, the service was outstanding. Everyone made us feel genuinely welcome, and the atmosphere was warm, relaxing, and perfect whether you're grabbing a casual lunch or having dinner with friends or family. The menu is packed with so many dishes that I still want to try, which just gives me another reason to keep coming back. Panini Kabob Grill continues to deliver an incredible experience, and I can't recommend it enough. read more

I was craving Mediterranean food, so my husband ordered dinner here via third party app. It was easy to order thru the third party app. You choose your meal. My husband ordered Jumbo Shrimp Ka-Box. The description read "4 charbroiled jumbo prawns with grilled vegetables, broccoli, and pita bread. Served with your choice of rice and spread. The vegetables in his order looks over charred and He did not get broccoli in his order. And the shrimp did not look jumbo and it was overcooked. I ordered the Falafel Ka-Box. The description reads "Six falafels, traditional garbanzo hummus and tzatziki. Served with warm pita bread." On the app You choose your rice - I choose basmati rice. Not sure why they let you choose your spread when the description reads you get hummus and tzatziki. I just selected hummus. My order was missing the hummus and tzatziki. I wish they would have given me my spreads cos my meal would have been dry without it (imo). Since I had no spread, my husband ended giving me his which meant he had no spread for his meal. I wish they would have done better because I was craving food from here for so long and other locations I have been to, I have never had this problem. read more

First time trying Panini Kabob Grill. I ordered the Tuna Panini with a Greek salad for pickup, and both were fresh and delicious. The tuna panini was generously filled and flavorful, while the Greek salad was crisp with plenty of feta and a tasty dressing. My order was ready on time and packaged well. Panini Grill at the LBX is a great option for lunch on Sunday after church. The family meal is our favorite meal to choose. The mixed bread basket is a good way to start your feast. We decided to add a linguine Alfredo to our meal and it was simply delicious. The service and atmosphere is great. read more
I was highly disappointed in my restaurant experience at Panini Kabob Grill. So there was no hostess at the entrance to greet any patrons entering the restaurant. So I entered inside of the restaurant and the area where you place an order, there was no employee available to take my order. Mind you, there were 3 employees walking back and forth, each of them making eye contact with me. But never acknowledging me, nor telling me they would or someone would be right with me. So finally I asked one of them, if I could be taken to my table, to order. The female that escorted me, gave a look at me, like I did something wrong and it made her frustrated for having to walk me over. So then the waiter approached my table and introduced himself to me. Took my beverage and entree order. It was brought out pretty quickly. Although the panini I ordered was rushed in preparation. There was barely any Mediterranean chicken, a few slithers of artichokes and it was drowned in pesto sauce. So I are half of the sandwich, and the other half I only ate the chicken and cheese. So the runner who brought my food out, I asked for additional napkins, yet the runner never brought them out. The original server never refilled my drink order, and never brought my napkins. Dessert time. Okay so I ordered baklava. The pieces of baklava were so small, it was a joke and not worth $9.00. The server lacked customer service, and the food was lack luster. Its disappointing, because Ive had food from this location as my job is local and Ive never had a bad experience. It will be a long time before I go back to this location again read more
I like the food, service is decent and I like the LBC center but I wouldnt come here just to eat at PKG. It's not that anything is wrong, but it's pretty generic when it comes to "Mediterranean" - Especially in Long Beach that is thriving with so much diversity and authenticity when it comes to food. It's a pretty cookie cutter experience and if you're not well versed in authentic flavors, well then, you'll be quite satisfied here and will return again and again. For me, I prefer more authentic flavors and appreciate pita & a little dipping on the side... for free- and you won't get that here! read more
Can't believe I've been sleeping on this place! I got here early (4:30) and there wasn't a wait at all-BEWARE** by the time i left, there was a wait. The staff was suuuuper friendly from the moment I walked in! It has a very casual vibe-good for families. I got the salmon kabob-I was apprehensive since salmon can dry out quickly- but I was assured it wasn't going to be dry. OMG-it was sooooo gooooooood!!! Soft and flavorful- flaky and delicious!! I also choose the brown rice and avocado salad. The rice had so much flavor (maybe a tad salty but so so good, especially for brown rice...) and the salad was fresh and delicious. It was a big portion on an oversized plate for $20.99. Amazing price for the huge portion-I took some home. read more

The food was delicious and clearly made from scratch. I ordered the Pesto Chicken Linguine with a Romaine avocado side salad, and my niece had the chicken kabob with rice and salad -- both meals were flavorful and fresh. Unfortunately, the service was lacking. I'm not sure if they were short-staffed, but our waitress seemed overwhelmed and was constantly running around. It took quite a while to get our drinks, and she forgot the basket of bread we ordered as an appetizer. Ironically, our meals arrived before the bread did. At the end of the meal, we asked for a to-go box and reminded her about the to-go order we had placed earlier, but it appeared she had forgotten that as well. Overall, the food was excellent, but the service experience definitely needs improvement. read more

Lauro was our server. He was friendly and checked on us often. The food was delicious. It leaves you full without feeling weighted down and groggy. Not at all greasy and very flavorful. It's a family restaurant so it has a relaxed vibe. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. Their coffee and strawberry lemonade are exceptional! We will be back! read more

This place is my go-to when I want to eat like royalty and still have enough leftovers to feed a small army (or myself for the next three meals--no shame). The family-style meals here? Absolute legends. Massive portions, endless kabob platters, and rice so fluffy and saffrony it probably dreams of being on a cooking show. We're talking lamb, chicken, beef skewers--tender, juicy, and seasoned like someone's grandma whispered secret spices into them. Oh, and the family meals come with two salads! Listen, I get that it's mother day weekend but please DO NOT TAKE MORE ORDERS THAN YOU CAN HANDLE....my order was promised at 11:28am and I arrived at 11:38am, I did not get my items till 12:20pm....this was bad execution.
