Hands down my favorite sandwich at Jersey Mike's is the #13 Italian, however, if you want to kick it up a notch, then ask for the "Italian Heatwave" to have it grilled, drizzled in hot honey, and have it Mike's Way! It hits all the notes with the Italian meats, hot honey for that sweet spice, and the crunch of the lettuce that has all the fixings of Mike's Way. My only gripe is sometimes they can be really slow and it doesn't even feel like there's many orders (like delivery or Togo). When I arrived to pick up my order, there was no acknowledgment from the staff at the pickup counter -- not even a simple greeting. I had placed my sub order an hour earlier, and it was already sitting on the counter when I arrived. Despite this, I was ignored by an employee and told, "We're really busy, man," rather than being assisted in a courteous manner. I understand that businesses get busy, but basic customer service -- such as acknowledging customers and maintaining a respectful attitude -- should not be overlooked. I waited an additional ten minutes for an order that was already prepared, and even after the experience, I still left a tip. I'm shocked at how little meat they put in my sandwich. I ordered the "Giant" size Italian sandwich and it was mostly lettuce and the fat airy bread. The meat stack was paper thin and the cheese was so thin that it was transparent. It wasn't like this before, even at this location. No wonder I don't see that many customers here. I pay the exact same amount for Italian sub at a local deli and they fill it with meats and beyond just lettuce and thin slices of tomatoes. Just can't come here anymore. read more

First rude lady to greet you will be the one rolling her eyes at the sound of your order, and the passive aggressive attitude she'll continue to deliver throughout the preparation of your sandwich. No offer for any alternatives or concern for allergy or diet restrictions. Not required? But still, I was prepared to exchange the bread for the rosemary one instead. No opportunity arose until I decided to attempt to get the swap done, and the amount of looks and eye rolls I noticed was absurd. I ordered 2 giant sandwiches, the largest ones the offer, that are cut into 4 pieces per. I asked for a side of 6 banana peppers as per usual, and he offered me one container. I asked for 5 more feeling i required more for the amount of food I ordered, and the dude had really said to me "I believe that to be more on the excessive side," and stared at me blankly. Usually, the parking is very difficult to come by, as the small private lot is usually occupied, with double parking often being an issue, due to Chipotle. Surprisingly, parking wasn't an issue when I arrived. Perhaps, due to current events? On previous occasions when I patronized Chipotle, I'd park in the residential area directly south. Can't complain about free Jersey Mike's! The Original Italian curbed my sub appetite, and my visit was quick and hassle-free. This location is inconsistent. I like the Big Kahuna.. sometimes it's amazing; the meat is chopped and the cheese is melted. Sometimes it's terrible; dry sandwich with chunky cold meat and cheese isn't melted.. I think it just depends on who's making it and if they actually care about the quality. Just did a pick up order and was surprised at the employees working at this location. There are two other locations near by and had great experiences at them. The two employees working the counter were engaged in their own conversation that I had to ask for help. Told that they were working on my order. Watched one employee throw my last two sandwiches across to the other counter so that they could bag them. Later as I suspected, the sandwich was crushed up on one side and condiments were messed. Asked if I could have some napkins and all I received was a point to the napkin dispenser. It seems they did not want me to interrupt their conversation they were having. A solid sandwich that does the trick when you're hungry for one. Located on the corner of Artesia and Bloomfield on a small lot shared with Chipotle, the parking can be impossible at times (no street parking) but I recently stopped in between the normal lunch and dinner hours so there was no problem. The interior is tiny yet they somehow squeezed five tables inside and there are a couple outside too. There was one employee working when I arrived. She was helping a customer and immediately said hello and let me know she'd be with me as quickly as possible (she was). I ordered a club supreme on rosemary bread, "Mike's Way" (minus onions). It took a few minutes for her to slice the deli meat and cheese (turkey, roast beef, swiss) and pile all the ingredients (including bacon, lettuce & tomato) together. I took it to go and ate it at work an hour later. Fresh bread, plenty of meat and good seasoning made it an enjoyable sandwich. Although it can't compete with, say, a legit Italian deli, I'd choose Jersey Mike's over other sandwich chains or a typical grocery store deli counter. 3.5 but I'll round it up. read more

So I went here last weekend and they told me if I donate 5.00 I could get a free sub next time I came in. I even clarified that it was for a regular size and they said yes. I came back a week later and they wouldn't let me use the card as they said I must buy a sub first to get the free one. Been togo-ing here since they first opened in Cerritos. And I absolutely love--love the texture of their French roll bread, quality of the meat, and flavor of "Mike's Way." My ultimate favorite sub is the turkey breast with provolone cheese (Mike's Way). You can never go wrong with that! "Mike's Way" is their speciality seasoning of vinegar and pepper and probable some magic that makes the sub that much more extra special! I suggest that you get your subs "Mike's Way"! I have also tried the Chicken Philly Cheesesteak on wheat wrap which was also good, but I still like to stick with my usual sub. I don't know what it is-- but their bread--the French Roll is super chewy and fresh and delicious! It makes the sub all the more--more enjoyable and delicious! Love this place, use to go to Subway's haven't stepped foot in a Subways since. Sliced and grilled or cold right in front of you, not heated up in a hotbox. Makes a world of difference. Came here at about 810 on a Saturday night. Found parking very easily, and made my way in without any hassle, although one does wonder why the property owners decided that putting the entrances to this restaurant and the one adjoining it on the opposite side of the building from the parking area. I was expecting a long wait for my order, but left about 15 minutes later! The staff is very friendly and patient, as well as obviously fast with your food prep. When you enter, you need to go to the far end of the counter to place your order, and they don't ring you up until your order is ready. The food is good, but not blow you out of the park good. I know that Jersey Mike's is a chain, and should not be compared to Hoagie and Cheese Steak delis and restaurants from the east coast.....but I just can't help it. Absolutely love Jersey Mike's, but don't go to this location. The EE gives you half the meat. Go to the location next to Broth, you get so much for giant sub of almost $20 bucks. Took my kid here for Father's Day because she is a huge fan of jersey mikes. After we got our food, we noticed two employees getting into a heated argument. Then the male employee used the f word out loud to make his point to the other employee. I was shocked to hear this from a family restaurant. The guy didn't seem to have any remorse of his actions considering there were customers in the restaurant. Not even oops sorry kind of thing. Second, there was another employee talking loudly behind us with a random customer about life while we were ordering our food, that was distracting because I couldn't hear the girl in front of us behind the counter to take our order. All I could hear is the guy and the girl talking the whole time right behind us, they were extremely loud. This will be the last time we eat at jersey mikes. Very unprofessional, the whole time we are eating I hear the employees complaining about their schedules, it ruined the dining experience and they were extremely loud. Its 8/7/2023 and I just watched the 12:45-1:20pm lunch rush and this team did a GREAT job. Four employees, all working in unison to take orders, make sandwiches, ring people up and fulfill online orders. No one needed to wait for too long and the crowd was taken care of in a very timely manner. My sandwich was made with care despite the line in front and behind me. The thing I like about Jersey mikes is the freshness. When you order cold sub they slice the deli meat when you order. Same for most hot sandwiches.. they grill the meat and veggies right when you order, unlike other sandwich shops that have preprocessed food and microwaves. I am sad to see the location has only 3 stars because my interaction today was superb. I placed a mobile order today and unfortunately, my order was made incorrectly. I made sure to check the sandwich before I left (which we dont always have time to do) but found out the sauces I asked for on the side were put onto the sandwich. The young man kindly explained that their ticket system prints the order in a certain way that sometimes the special request can be missed. However, he immediately offered to remake the sandwich for me. I have worked in Foodservice previously, so I understand that sometimes these errors happen, but I believe it is how you respond to the situation that matters. Adrian was the one who helped me. He was kind, helpful, and very friendly throughout the interaction, even though he had other customers that he was dealing with simultaneously! Love Jersey Mikes! I used to drive to the one on 183rd but miraculously this one is a 10 min walk from my place so I could order online, pay and immediately start walking. I usually get the club sub or club supreme but recently tried the #4 and always get it Mikes Way with a cookie. Mikes Way honestly revolutionized how I think of sandwiches and I don't settle for Panera or Subway anymore because of it. It's acidic (I think it's like a red wine vinaigrette mixture) and just ties the entire sandwich together. Service-wise this location is pretty quick about making sure you're greeted, helped, and served. No complaints here. read more

i give up on this location. the two random times ive placed an online order & they still make it incorrect. this was a recent event but the first time it happened, it was pretty much the same thing. my order was pretty simple, rosemary bread & the mikes way on a #8. This is my usual order at the Cerritos location. I redeemed a giant sub from points on the mobile app. they DID NOT inform me at least the change of my bread. I got white bread instead. i also did not get the Mike's Way like i stated on my order. what baffles me is the order is on text via app. so you couldnt get that wrong. but if there was not the product available, why wasnt I informed but they made the decision to what kind of bread i should have lol Mikes way is the way to go when you get a sub, so this was suuuper disappointing :( oh well. i didnt even want to make the hassle to go back to get it fixed, im just very over this location messing up my orders p.s. i urge everyone to go to the cerritos, theyre always on point with customer service & quality of care to their subs read more
