Lomo saltado with rice
Joyce A.

Drive thru service might seem a little slow but it's because the food is not really fast food! Exterior is clean and the drive thru can hold a lot of cars. You can place your order online or by calling ahead. Chicken comes out still hot off the rotisserie. My favorite sides are fried plantains or cilantro rice. Both have an up charge. I like the ceviche mixto here: a nice citrus dressing cut by the sweet potatoes included .

For a fast food type of setting and the fact that you're getting peruvian food which usually you can only get from restaurants. It's a very convenient location. I'm happy that I'm not too far from this place so I can get Lomo Saltado and Soup whenever I want. The service is pretty good and You get basically what you would want from the Pollo Inka restaurant as you do here at the express location. I'd recommend this location to anyone especially if it's your first time trying peruvian cuisine and if you really like it then I'd recommend their restaurant to dine in and get a nicer experience. Ambience is amazing.

If you want a quick and healthy meal, look no further! This place has roasted chicken that is so flavorful and juicy that you'd want to buy extra chicken to go to eat for later! The beans were delicious and so was the rice. The green salsa is spicy and delicious! Also the cilantro soup really hit the spot! The flavors and seasonings were an excellent symphony of flavors in my mouth! I've been craving some fried plantains and lo and behold they have them too! I ordered them and they were sweet a little bit crunchy on the outside and soft and delicious on the inside!! I need more!! Staff were very friendly and attentive and the restaurant is clean. I'll definitely be coming back for more! Totally recommend!

My absolute favorite fast food. The saltado de pollo is especially good when the fries are fried to order and they're extra crispy in that yummy sauce. This spot is a must when I'm in the area.

Stopped by after job interview to pollo inka express. 2nd time here, this meal I'm having their Chicken Salad with ranch dressing! It's huge! Music is lively good atmosphere here. Service fast and friendly. Here's a photo of the salad. Does this look good or what? Love the portion size of this! Yes da! Stop by this place had great food!

Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 3/5 Parking: 3/5 Family friendly: 3/5 Stroller friendly: 4/5 ADA accessible: 4/5 This is my first time at any Pollo Inka Express and I was definitely impressed. I wasn't sure if this was going to be a fair quality food place due to it being a "fast" casual spot. Got the Soltado's lomo and saltado de mariscos. Highly recommend both as flavors were on point and very similar to what I had in Lima, Peru. I think the next time I drop by I will definitely try another Peruvian staple: tallarines verde. The process was quick for ordering and there are plenty of seats. Highly recommend this Pollo Inka Express! I'm

Passing by and decided to give it a try! :) I picked up 2x Inka Combos and a Salchipapas. I wasn't sure if it would be enough for three of us, but they don't hold back on the serving size - we're all full and there's still a ton to save for later! The chicken and rice is seasoned and cooked proper, the beans are good, the cilantro soup is delicious, the sauce is wonderful, there's still a salad - and I ordered Salchipapas so we had huge pile of dressed fries with sliced hotdogs. The ambiance was that of a clean fast food setup, bright and plenty of seating. In all I enjoyed it; if you're hungry then this is a place to keep on your radar as you will not leave hungry. :)

Came here because the Gardena location too far and not sure if still open. Came here ate here and I got a bit sick to my stomach. The soup was a little cold and had too much of that thick greasy texture. Beef not cooked well couldn't eat. Then I look up at the soda station and it was disgusting . So I stopped eating and sipping on the drink. Dinning area dirty and register girls seemed uninterested in checking the lobby. I was unimpressed, Gardena location please teach these novice how it's done.... I haven't been there in years....

This is one of my favorite spots for a drive through meal. Lomo Saltado is one of my ultimate comfort foods as it has stir fried aromatics, french fries, rice, and steak, then you top it off with the flavor bomb green aji sauce. I wanted a little more spice, so I paid an extra dollar for their red aji sauce, which reminded me of sambal oelek. For me, the green sauce is the sauce to get. Their lomo saltados come with a side of cilantro soup, which I also enjoy. Though the wait can be about 10-20 minutes for your meal, I always appreciate it's hot and fresh. At a cost of about $18, it's a satisfying meal to go.

Incredible value for the Pollo Inka special plate. I think it's called Combo Inka. It came with chicken, rice, beans (the best), salad, soup, sauce, and a can of cola. It wasn't too expensive and the people working were nice and got us through the drive thru quickly.

I absolutely love this location Every-time we go in it's busy and everyone is very friendly Food is always delicious and they give good portions are not stingy with the salsa Soup is always perfect and flavorful I'm never disappointed I recommend this location to everyone

Rony Q.

Got the Lomo Saltado and thought that the price was good for the value. The lomo had some of the most tender meat I've ever had for this dish and tasted great! The only downsides were that it was quite greasy and the aji verde wasn't that spicy.

Inka cola which tastes a bit like chicle

Man oh man..I've never had Peruvian food before and this was nothing short but excellent! The shrimp was nice and plump, rice was fluffy, and we were surprised they gave us soup with our orders. So good! Everything was piping hot and fresh. The portions were nice and large too. The workers here are also cheery and friendly. Definitely would recommend this place if you want to try something new. Good stuff!

They do take phone orders and online orders but you might as well just order from drive thru because nothing is ever ready. They're customer service has gone downhill even pre Covid.

The bartender acknowledged us right away and brought us menus. They had the hockey playoffs on the TV which was great cause we've been tuning in lately too! My fiancé decided on the house margarita and said it was delicious. Even though it was a "small" (they also come in "large") it was a very reasonably sized marg. She said it was pretty strong, so props for that haha. We stuck to the appetizer menu and went with a steak quesadilla and a shrimp ceviche. The Quesadilla was amazing: tons of queso, poblano chilis, and the steak was so juicy. You could really taste every ingredient in this thing. If we go back, I would definitely order it again. The ceviche was my fiancé's favorite, tasty shrimp, peppers, and avocado in a bomb orange/lime juice. I had to stop her from straight up slurping it up like a soup. She was a big fan, and she orders ceviche often. This was our first visit to Cha Cha's and we really enjoyed it. We've seen it a bunch of times while in downtown Brea, so we thought we'd give it a try, and I guess we've been missing out! The ambience was nice: not too loud, strong drinks, long menu, friendly staff, sports on the tv, and I was shocked when I saw the bill, very reasonably priced. We'll be back, for sure!

It also smells like amazing meat which is a huge plus for me. We didn't have reservations so had to sit in the bar area which did include high top booths thankfully. It was our first time and happened to dine during one of their collab nights. We were disappointed at first because we were craving Colombian food. But the limited menu looked promising so we gave it a go. It turned out that everything was delicious. The spare rib was fall off the bone tender and had great smoky flavor. The beans were surprisingly tasty too. (I always find beans an unnecessary and bland accompaniment). I absolutely loved the brisket stir fry. The flavors blended well and it had a nice kick. The meat was so tender and I appreciated the meat to noodle ratio. The chicken inside the empanada was deliciously smoky but not overly so and the crust was the right consistency and crisp. It came with 3 sauces which were good but would have like a more spicier option. I tried two cocktails that were in the collab menu. The black old fashioned was too strong for me. I definitely preferred the buffalo soldier which was tasty and refreshing. My favorite dessert was the Natilla. It was like a flan mousse and so good. The toasted coconut flakes added a nice texture. The oblea was fun to eat. That cream and jam were a great combo. Overall a worthwhile experience. I hope to come back to try their regular menu items.

We had a 1:00 PM reservation and were told after checking in that the wait would only be 20-30 minutes. We ended up waiting about 40 minutes and were then seated at a tiny table for six people with the sun directly hitting us the entire time. Our waitress greeted us with only one menu and said she didn't have any more. We asked about bottomless mimosas and she responded, "I don't know, I saw one person doing it but I don't think so." How does a server not know whether the restaurant offers bottomless mimosas? We ordered drinks almost immediately after being seated, but they didn't arrive until 2:10 PM. It is over an hour later , while tables seated after us already had theirs. The food service was even worse: 2:09 PM: only 1 out of 6 meals arrived No silverware or napkins were provided We had to ask another server, who placed loose forks and knives directly on the table and said he only had 3 napkins 2:30 pm only 2 more plates came out Another plate arrived later by 2:33pm while 2 people still had no food at all By the time my food arrived, the waffle was dry and stiff, and the "chicken and waffles" looked like one chicken strip cut into four tiny pieces. And was $22. My son's burger came out much later, and my husband's food didn't arrive until 2:50 PM which was another $22 dry chicken and waffle plate. At that point we asked for the manager because our entire Mother's Day brunch had been spent waiting while everyone ate separately. The manager seemed completely unconcerned and said someone would handle it only after my mom asked what was he planning on doing besides apologizing as we were still missing a plate. Meanwhile, our waitress barely checked on us unless we flagged her down ourselves. No refills, no silverware, no urgency, and constant "your food is coming in two seconds" excuses. The food itself was disappointing too. Chicken and waffle Portions were tiny, flavors were off, and even the horchata colada tasted nothing like horchata. This was actually our second bad experience here. We previously came for Taco Tuesday and experienced similar disorganization, but decided to give the restaurant another chance. Huge mistake. Parking is terrible, the waiting area is overcrowded, and the restaurant felt completely unprepared and understaffed for a holiday they should have planned for. But we were sitting waiting for a drink. I heard other waitresses freaking out telling people Dont Give Out lunch menus sad that they can't even handle brunch. Honestly, you're better off going somewhere like The Broken Yolk Cafe if you want decent brunch service and to actually enjoy your meal together. Sad that a place trying to present itself as high-end. If you're gonna boast about being the first rooftop in Rancho, your service and your food and your drinks better be good. Completely ruined our Mother's Day. We will never return! The 20% off a $220 bill was paid right back at the waitress tip which, if my family hadn't paid, I would've gave her nothing. Isn't your waitress supposed to see your table that one person has food for half an hour shouldn't she go back and ask shouldn't your waitress see if you have your drinks within 40 minutes shouldn't your waitress know what you serve there shouldn't your waitress check on her tables completely ridiculous. A single rose does not make up for horrible service. I included pictures with time stamps

Definitely a must-try if you like cerviche! The soup (Chupe De Camarones) has a thick and creamy (shrimp chowder) texture, with plenty of peas/carrots pieces, fried fish, and a scrambled egg on top. Very hearty and just perfectly seasoned. We ordered the regular size and the portion is plenty enough even for two people to share. The specialty courses Arroz con pollo (rice cooked with cilantro sauce with chicken) and the Tallarín Verde (pesto spaghetti/parmesan cheese with breaded beef steak) are just as delicious as all the other dishes. The pesto spaghetti is al dente, and the pesto flavor is just devine! If you like cilantro, you cannot go wrong with the Arroz con pollo.
