    Pastrami Fries
    Terry M.

Came here on multiple recommendations, was not disappointed. :) My daughter got the Carne Fries, my son the Pancake Combo, and I tried the Pastrami Fries. My Pastrami Fries were spot on! Lots of cheese and well cooked pastrami, and once I added some mustard and salsa it was everything I hoped it would be. The service was quick and friendly, and they serve breakfast all day, that's always a plus! The ambiance is that of a fair sized short order restaurant, clean with a decent amount of seating, OG taqueria feel, but chill. We'll be back, and you should as well. :)

We were looking for some good Mexican breakfast places local to where we were staying and Señor Taco did not disappoint. The service staff was friendly and accommodating to special orders. My wife got the chicken Chiliquiles and also a bowl of Menudo which brought back childhood memories. I had the breakfast burrito with sausage and it was one of the best I have had. The salsa were on fire red was fire and green very nice. If you are in the area this is the place!

Señor Taco is a local fast-casual favorite, and I've been enjoying delicious food here for years. The extensive menu includes Mexican and American breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I usually get burritos, enchilada plates, quesadillas, and, tacos. The food is average to excellent. They also have the standard meat options, including lengua, buche, tripa, and cabeza. Prices are relatively affordable, considering inflation. The special plates and breakfast entrées are nice options. There's a salsa and condiment bar, fountain and bottled drinks, desserts, and much more. The dining area is spacious, with plenty of tables and seats. This place gets busy during peak eating times and on weekends, as there is a swap meet across the street Saturday & Sunday, from morning 'til 3pm. The staff is friendly and gets orders out promptly. You can order food at the cashier, call ahead, or order online through Yelp. When I have a Mexican food craving and am in the area, Señor Taco satisfies.

Not a lot of places were open for Memorial Day and glad we stumbled upon this gem. We were feeling breakfast burritos and decided to give this spot a chance. We dined in and the server was really friendly. I like the salsa bar they had with the variety of salsas and pickled sides. Here's what we ordered: * Ham Breakfast Burrito (5/5): this was on par with some of the other top burrito spots. It consisted of ham, cheese, hash browns, and eggs. What actually set it off was an extremely thin layer of refried beans to give it a touch I haven't had before. * Combination Burrito (5/5): this had eggs, hash browns, cheese, sausage , bacon, and ham inside. The bacon was crispy giving it a crunch in the bites. Paired up with a drizzle of green salsa and red salsa really enhanced the burrito with the spice. I'll definitely be back in hopes that the other dishes in the menu meet the same quality as the breakfast burrito.

Great value, price was reasonable and portions were generous. Small place, family-run. Service was good.

Sausage breakfast burrito with rice instead of beans and add bell peppers
    Diana F.

Still one of the best breakfast burritos...I replace beans for rice and add bell peppers. The toasted tortilla and the egg, cheese, bits of potatoes, meat, rice, and bell peppers melts into total deliciousness. Price has crept up to $12+ but still worth i as it's usually huge. The workers are fast and efficient. Some difficulties experienced with ordering if the person that takes your order doesn't know English well. I've tried to learn how to order my burrito in Spanish and it's helpful for me and the order taker.

    Carnitas plate.
    Wayne T.

Very good Mexican food and seems to be a family run restaurant. Ordered the chile verde plate and the carnitas plate to go. Both were very tasty and would have given them 5 stars except the carnitas had a little too much fat on it compared to other places I've been. The accompanying rice and refried beans were excellent. Will be back to try other items!

A down home, Mom and Pop spot, with good food, friendly service and welcoming ambiance. Prices aren't bad either.

Alberto's Mexican Food - Cypress, CA February 5, 2026…read more First visit This was my first time at Alberto's Mexican Food in Cypress, and I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the beef taco and beef taquitos, and both hit the spot. The beef taco came loaded with lettuce and cheese, and the shell was perfectly cooked--not greasy, not soggy. The beef was nicely seasoned, and the hot sauce served on the side paired with it perfectly, adding just the right amount of kick. The beef taquitos were also very good--crispy, filled generously, topped with plenty of melted cheese, and finished with a guacamole sauce that was especially tasty. The rice and beans were average, nothing bad, just not standout--but everything else more than made up for it. All in all, a very solid experience, especially for a first visit. I'd definitely return and try more items on the menu.

I've never tried it so I don't know how good it is or if it's even worth it. Anyhow, Albertaco's is right at the corner. Bacon breakfast burritos for under $9.00 is the norm. It filled me up. They use French fries instead of potatoes cooked on the flat top or what we got at least were fries. I don't know if I can specify. It did the job and got my morning breakfast burrito cravings fixed. Usually we come here for late night. Their tacos, nachos and Rolled tacos are fire.

I was surprised by the tequila presentation as I only expected shots alone. The presentation of the tequila flight was fun and unexpectedly turned out to be an opportunity to learn about culture. At my second visit, I visited solo and ordered both food and drinks this time. Talia greeted and seated me right away. She and Gustavo were both super nice and made me feel safe and comfortable at the bar. Armando was also very friendly and cordial. The asada taco was surprisingly good. They did not skimp on the meat. Also the chips and salsa are soooo good. My favorite is the red salsa. I love how the chips are thin and crunchy. If you like margaritas, I highly recommend the Lime Margarita. So good! La Huasteca is the type of place where you can visit alone or with friends and have a pleasant time no matter what.
