    Wings w/ Sauce (4pc)
    Katrina C.

Came across this restaurant a couple weeks ago. I was craving Korean fried chicken. Their chicken wings are good but could've used a little more salt. They were kind to throw in an extra wing for free, which was a great surprise. Their fries definitely could've used more salt too. It's unfortunate because they had potential. I had to add ketchup, which is something I do rarely. I only use ketchup when the fries aren't up to par.

Not bad, not bad at all! So, I was bringing my mom to her hair and nail appointment at the salon next door. But when I parked, my eyes looked up, and my mouth dropped. KFC, aww hell yeah! Verified the positive yelp reviews and walked right in. [[HIGHLIGHT]]No one was around, but the dining area appeared clean so I figured I'd chill here before the 5pm dinner rush.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I wasn't too hungry, but I always have room for wings. Since I've never been here, I only ordered the Wing Combo A ($10.49) which comes with four wings, coleslaw, and a drink. Bone-in, sweet spicy was my flavor of choice. And man, I gotta say the four crunchy wings were sauced up just right. Tender and meaty inside and I got lucky spotting a fifth wing in there. The coleslaw was decent tasting as well. Overall, service was helpful. No complaints. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Dining was nothing fancy, and again it felt clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I also noticed the freezers. They sell their wings frozen for you to deep fry at home; Party packs and chicken katsu. I missed out on the free soft serve machine. That's a plus if you ask me. These guys are worth a try if you've never been here.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Small, very clean Mom and Pop store with the wife at the counter and the husband working away at the open kitchen[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] making the best tasting Korean Style Double Fried Chicken with various types of batters and sauce to make you float away from the current world that's gone mad and give you a blissful moment of culinary ecstasy and tasteful Korean Yang Nyum (Spicy Sauce)! The 12 piece whole chicken with two separate Yang Nyum such as Garlic Spice or Soy Sauce are two of the more popular options. They have 15 pieces of chicken wings with one or two different spices. The freshly made hot and crispy crunchy original fried chicken is by far my favorite but maybe you may like one of different spicy or sauces better. Dear Mukbang friends and relatives: Don't waste your time anywhere else like the usual Traditional Franchise fast food outfits with same old fashioned fried chicken. This is the perfect way to enjoy the Fried Chicken!

I saw this place as I was driving by and decided to give it a try. I am so glad that I did! There's a lot of Korean fried chicken places nearby but this has been my favorite so far. Since it was my first time I took my time and staff was very helpful as I was choosing my option. Usually chicken places are more bread than chicken, but this was the perfect ratio. I will definitely be back!

Chicken tenders (Honey Garlic and Sweet Spicy)

When I found out that this place replaced my BBQ gem that was Smokey Teriyaki, I was pretty bummed. But I wouldn't hold it against them and gave them a shot. This is definitely a great KFC (Korean fried chicken) spot. I got the 15 piece chicken tenders with the Honey garlic and sweet spicy flavors. The honey garlic combined the nice sweetness of the honey with the savory-ness of the garlic and chicken. It was delicious. The sweet spicy was also so good because the spiciness mixed with the sweet and savory chicken just made it irresistible. It seems the key to delicious food is mixing up the taste palette. Definite something to try especially if you want some variety in your fried poultry!

Such a pleasant surprise! For $20 you can get a generous portion of fries and half a chicken tossed in sauce with a pop, side of pickled radish and even soft serve icecream!? Not only is this a great deal, it was DELICIOUS. Such a great find, service was friendly and attentive, food came out quick and hot. The batter of the chicken is evenly coated and not too heavy. We opted for soy garlic this visit and really couldn't get enough of it! The pool of sauce on the bottom was just bonus sauce for our fries! The portion of radish to chicken was a bit small, so I'd recommend asking for additional. (Not sure if it's an extra charge?) We ended up taking the chicken to go, so I didn't get to try the soft serve but with this being a take out order and it still being this good- I'll definitely be back to try the other flavors!

A while back, my husband and I took Katella Avenue on both our trips to and from Disneyland, mainly to explore interesting restaurants along the way. Few months ago, we stumbled upon a fried chicken spot with a quirky name. After checking out the reviews (which were excellent), we decided to give it a try. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The owner of this fried chicken place seems to be run by Korean, and the vibe reminded me of those small neighborhood chicken places in Seoul.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered half a chicken (5 pieces) for $14.99, which came with a small side of pickled radish. Although the wait was a bit long, the chicken was fried so well--super crispy and flavorful. We chose the Extra Sweet Spicy sauce, which the staff recommended. It was absolutely delicious and not spicy at all! Surprisingly, they also serve fried rice (with bits of sausage!), and the price is incredibly reasonable. A small portion, which even comes with a side of teriyaki sauce, costs just $5.99. Honestly, that kind of pricing is hard to find in Southern California! They also sell frozen fried chicken (perfect for reheating in an air fryer at home) and Jayone frozen kimbap for $3.99 each, the same price as local Korean supermarkets. If you dine in, there's free soft-serve ice cream (you can refill it yourself, though the container is one of those small sauce cups). They also have a water dispenser for self-service and provide wet wipes, which is always a nice touch. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The only downside? No restroom![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall, we really enjoyed the food and will definitely return for their fried chicken. Crunchicken 11513 Knott Ave, Cypress, CA 90630

    4pc chicken tender combo!

I was really craving some chicken today and saw this place wasn't really too far from my work so I decided to check this place out. Located in a strip mall there is plenty of parking around so no hassle there. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant and seating area itself is pretty spacious.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I walked up and was debating between a chicken bowl and the tenders and opted to get the 4pc chicken tender combo that came with fries and a drink. Altogether it was around $15. Lady that took the order was nice and food took about 5-10 mins. I decided to get the sauce on the side which was the honey garlic sauce. Opening the box I was surprised that there was more than 4 pieces and was pretty happy about that! The pieces looked absolutely crunchy and the fries looked great but how did it taste?... I am happy to report that this is some pretty damn good chicken! Crunchy to the bite and once dipped in the honey garlic sauce, it was savory and delicious. The fries were crunchy as well and tasted really good! For the price I paid I have to admit with the amount of food received it's almost a steal (even with the hyperinflation... lol) the tenders were delicious and would definitely order again! It looked like this place is family owned so I can't recommend it more if you need a chicken fix! Definitely get it here!!

Found this little gym when I was on my way from a store. I love Korean fried chicken so when I found out that this place is only 10 minutes away. I just placed an order for pick up and never regretted that decision. Parking is plenty in their plaza, and they were able to accommodate fresh food just in time with my eta arrival. Would love to come back next time!

CrunChicken has the crunchiest chicken! They have a variety of sauces. My favorite is the honey soy garlic. I usually get the 4 piece tenders or wings, and have never been able to finish it. The price point is fairly cheap considering the amount of food and quality. The food came out quickly, and best of all, they give you complimentary soft serve ice cream while you wait! The staff are very friendly, and the music is nice also. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Not loud, cozy feeling.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

A chicken lovers gem This place is located in the corner of a little shopping center, you may overlook it when you're passing by. But you shouldn't. Their chicken tasted amazing. Perfectly crusted, juicy and full of flavor. They had reasonable prices and their portion size fit with a charge. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Looks like a small little mom and pop shop, but don't let that dissuade you from their awesome flavors.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The one thing that I did like about them, is that they do sell wings to go. So if you want to look like, just buy some of their wings, fry them up and serve them and let your company be amazed. If I'm in the area, I will definitely revisit this place. Not to mention they give you a free ice cream when you come in. What more do you want?

Nice touch with the positive sticker!

I love that you order off their kiosk which is conveniently located at the table already. The staff was quick to bring out the banchan. To start, we shared their leek pancake and pork blood sausage. For my lunch I went with their cold noodles since it was a cold day. The people I came with had some pork spare ribs, which came with rice and bone knee soup. And a bibimbap. The leek pancake was the best thing there. The pork blood sausage was more of rice noodles rolled up with pork blood flavored. I can't imagine it being much portion. Eveything else was bland which we all agreed to. For my cold noodles I added plenty of vinegar and mustard but it was not it. Still lacked flavor. Also it only had half a boiled egg and two verythin slices of beef. The pork was over cooked, dry, and lacked flavor. The bibimbap was also bland even with their red sauce. We we were all disappointed. The pricing is affordable. The staff was nice and quick. They made sure to check up on us. Parking here is a tough even though it was a weekday. Their lot was full and you can park next door but by the dental office but that was also full. We waited a little and eventually found parking. The restaurant is very casual, clean and spacious. This was just really meh to me.

The stir-fried squid with noodles was delicious and came in a generous portion. The LA Galbi also tasted good, but the portion was disappointing. It looked like we got mostly small leftover pieces with very little meat compared to other Korean restaurants, especially for $33.99. The stir-fried kimchi with tofu was another letdown--the amount of tofu was very small for $36.99. The food overall was tasty, but the service was one of the strangest experiences I've had. Our banchan (side dishes) didn't come until after the appetizer, and only because we asked. We also had to ask for water. Our appetizer arrived without any sauce, and later they brought soy sauce with wasabi, which wasn't even for our seafood pancake or fried dumplings. After all of our food was served, no one came back to check on us--not even once. I'm honestly not exaggerating. The staff kept disappearing, and at one point we saw them all eating lunch together in the dining area, which made us uncomfortable interrupting them. When we were ready to leave, we needed to-go boxes and the check, but no one was around. We finally had to ask a lady who had just clocked in. Our bill was over $300, and honestly, we didn't feel the service deserved a tip. This place is a hit or miss. The food is good, and that's the only reason I'd consider coming back.
