AMAZING chicken, value and service! Highly recommend 92 Chicken, it is my new go to. The Korean fried chicken was perfectly crispy, even after I had to drive over 30 minutes before eating it. Honey garlic sauce was really good. Comes with pickled radishes. Great specials: currently a deal for two whole chickens for $42! Very clean interior with plenty of seating. The lady working the front was so sweet. She greeted me, even brought me a cold water bottle while I waited and helped me with the door as I left with all my goodies. Definitely will be coming back.

Mom and pop shop. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The chicken was crispy to our liking but it lacks a bit of flavor and the selections are limited compared to some of the other Korean fried chicken establishments.

Tried their free-range chicken and corn cheese, and wow,it was so good! The chicken was flavorful, juicy, and not greasy at all. I loved that it felt lighter and didn't leave me feeling bloated like BBQ chicken. The corn cheese was perfectly cooked with cheese and it was not overly rich. You can really taste the quality of the food. Plus, the auntie who helped us was super sweet and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Definitely one of my new favorite, highly recommend!

I think we've found our new KFC - Korean fried chicken - spot. The whole chicken is plentiful for the 4 of us - light, crispy and juicy pieces. You can also get sides of spicy sauce to dip. Sweet potato pizza is huge and weighty. It's surprisingly filling with large chunks of sweet potato, pineapple, generous cheese atop a chewy crust. The tteokbokki has a good spicy yet sweet flavor and is cooked to perfection. Might try it with the cheese next time! Sides of slaw and radish round out the meal. Customer service is spot on.

Ordered bulgogi pizza and honey garlic wings. The auntie was extremely nice. Inside is small but cozy. Food overall is a 10/10 for me. The wings were tender and crunchy while the pizza was both sweet and salty. Definitely will come again!

One of the best spots for korean pizza and chicken! Came here on a Friday night and I got seated right away. The owner lady here is extremely hardworking and kind! She was attentive our needs the while we were dining here. I got half sweet potato and half bulgogi pizza with sweet/spicy chicken. Ugh, they are really good!!!! They also give you extra radish if you ask. This place has now become my go-to spot for Korean style pizza and chicken.

Craving for fried chicken and this place happened to next to the Hmart market. Great, crispy, tasty, moist and perfectly seasoned and with a side of salad and a beer to cool down the craving. Service is great (think family run, husband & wife). Once you placed the ordered, it may take awhile for the foods to cook. But it's aok, just kick back & relax in the small but clean, airy, minimal decor and with tv. Overall, I enjoyed this this place a lot.

Continuing my KFC kick brought me here. Impressive customer service by the waitress. She was very friendly, engaged with us every step of the way with our meal, and stayed on top of the order pick up customers all the same. There were no other dine in customers during our visit, seems (or we just hope that) this location has not been discovered yet. Sadly, the chicken choices were nothing special with flavor or quality. Certainly not bad by any means - cooked well, a healthy balance of crisp and moist feels to each bite. They just all lacked flavor very heavily. The flavor for the original wings came off old and expired, if that makes sense. The little salad they give at the start came with an awkward aftertaste as well.. The menu offers other selections beyond chicken, these may be worth looking into.

Whenever I want fried chicken, this is the place. No one does flavor like they do. Honey garlic is my top pick, and the chicken is always extra crispy outside and super juicy inside. A solid 10/10.

TL;DR - solid korean spot, feels authentic & simple classic chicken wings: 10/10 tteokbokki: 10/10 mozzarella sticks: 7/10 - the seating was nice, since i went with a group of 5 friends our server was a really nice older woman, very sweet & friendly!

My friend and I originally came to this plaza to have Kaju but then we changed our mind because we didn't want tofu soup anymore. I yelped this place and decided to check them out because of the good reviews! The lady who runs the restaurant was super nice and sweet! We really liked her! She was so attentive to us and made sure we never needed to ask her for anything! We weren't that hungry so we just got beer, fried chicken and teobeokki! I think we got the garlic soy sauce friend chicken and although it was good and crispy as well as juicy, it was really salty to us. So I didn't eat a lot of it. What I really liked was the teobeokki! I think this place has one of the best home-made feel kind of teobeokki! The rice cake was so delicious and tender as well as soft and chewy, the chili sauce was so flavorful and just right with the spiciness, and the fish cake and everything else in it. This was definitely my favorite! I would come back or just get the teobeokki to go! So yummy!

    Bulgogi pizza

We've eaten here a few times, both inside and takeout. Each time the food has been delicious! We usually get the bulgogi pizza and some wings. The lady working the counter and serving the food is super nice and is like a mother making sure you're taken care of. I always try to get some food here when I'm in the area and highly recommend it!

We got the 8pc fried Pepper Soy wings and the Large Dubboki with cheese. The wings are always so good here. They're humongous, crispy, and sauced to perfection. The Pepper Soy flavor was so yummy and umami.   The trick is to get the dubboki so that you can dip the chicken in the sauce. The rice cakes are soft, and the sauce is sweet and spicy. The table also gets sat with a free side salad and pickled radishes, which is a great way to cut the richness of everything. A bite of chicken, a sip of beer, some rice cakes, and a bite of cold radishes really makes the night. Come out to Koko's for a drink, some eats, and a good casual time.

This used to be one of my favorite spots, so it honestly makes me sad to write this…read more They've made a few changes to the menu and pricing. The dukbokki can only have ramen when it's a large. On top of that, cheese is now $4 extra and ramen is $3, which feels a bit steep for add-ons. They also changed the salad sauce--it used to be more on the sweeter side, but now it leans spicier (around a 3/10 spice level, still good), which may or may not be your preference. The biggest issue, though, was the food safety concern. Our order included 8 pieces of fried chicken (4 drumsticks and 4 wings). The drumsticks were fully cooked and fine. However, the first wing piece I bit into was clearly undercooked. Because of that, we did not continue eating the remaining wings--the other three were set aside and later on, discarded into the small trash bin they keep at the table. When I brought it to the staff's attention, they told me the redness was from bone marrow due to a broken bone and that the chicken was fully cooked. However, the bone only broke because I bit into it, and the meat itself was visibly pink. Not just near the bone where bone marrow would be. The actual MEAT was red and pink all throughout. This was not just "marrow." Even zooming into the picture, you can see the meat on both the plate and in my hand was still red and pink. Additionally, the remaining wings were only visually checked by the waiter and were not opened or inspected internally, which would not confirm whether they were fully cooked. This is concerning, as a visual check alone doesn't accurately assess doneness. It also concerns me that, despite not being present, the owner claims his servers point of view as factual, including the claim that all the wings were eaten, which is not accurate. We did not consume the remaining wings after the first one I bit into. Unfortunately, there was no apology from my perspective, simply an "explanation" stating it was bone marrow. And the situation wasn't handled with much concern. I ended up feeling sick and had to go to the bathroom to throw up, which completely ruined the rest of the experience. Overall, I'm really disappointed. Between the price changes, the food safety issue, and the owner's response focusing more on defending the situation rather than acknowledging the concern, I don't feel comfortable coming back.

The wings were all naked wings with crispy skin and really tender and juicy inside. I really appreciated the sides of pickled daikon and Serrano peppers to go along with the wings. The little potatoes that came with the wings were a nice surprise and were decent. I also got a side of macaroni which was just okay. I wasn't sure if the ham were onions at first cause I tasted no hint of saltiness. My favorite sauce was the mango habanero which I dipped with the ranch. I found the chicken to be good relative to all fried chicken, but average/ok in relation to KFC around the SoCal area. Furai Chicken-Irvine appeared on the 15 essential Korean restaurants in Eater for Orange County, so made a note of it if I was ever nearby any of their locations. So after picking up some great kimchi from the close-by Seoul Do Soon Yi, we stopped by for carry-out around lunchtime. It's a fast food set-up, ordering/paying first and then taking it back to your table or carrying it out. The two page menu consisted of chicken, sandwiches, and sides. They do offer alcohol, both draft and bottled. It was empty when I got in, but the ringing of the doorbell let the front-of-house to come to the front. The cashier was helpful, answering my questions. The meal was for three, so got a Half&Half ($31.98) with Original Furai Chicken (comes with one sauce) and Soy Garlic. Added an order of beer-battered fries ($5.98)...which turned out to be a decent amount of really thick sidewinder fries. It took about 20 minutes for the made-to-order to be prepared, and it was packaged so the steam could be released. KFC has 10 pieces for a whole bone-in chicken, which I prefer since the large breast piece gets broken into two. The original is meant to be dipped in the accompanying sweet/spicy, which I really liked: not hot at all but still maintained that sweet/spicy flavor of a good Jang. The soy-garlic was lightly sauced, maybe trying to maintain that crunchiness. But it certainly didn't have the crazy crunch that really good KFC has, even when not eaten right away. It also came with small ramekins of peppers and pickled radish (which strangely were a bit mushy). With the fries, it was enough for the three of us for lunch, but for me, nothing really stood out to make me want to choose it vs the many other choices for Asian-inspired fried chicken in my area.

Buffalo Wild Wings does a good job of coating the sauce in their chicken. This time I ordered the chicken strips, mango habanero and Lakers Garlic. The Lakers garlic was a little below average, it's a dry seasoning of what seems like a garlic powder. The mango habanero was pretty flavorful and spicy, but sauce was really wet. *** SCAM ALERT *** I…read moredon't use the word "SCAM" lightly, but that's what this was. My adult son called in a $281.62 order off the menu for Mother's Day. They would not accept the order or payment over the phone because the order was "too big." They asked that someone go there and pay up front for the entire order. Since it was the evening before Mother's Day, I drove to them and paid for the order. Yes, I was also presented with a minumum 20% TIP screen, which I declined. When I got there at pickup time (4:00pm) on Mother's Day, the price changed to $325.51. I was told that, for some reason, they had cut about 50% larger portions than the menu specified (see the line items, which should have been 1 lb. each), so they charged me for the difference ($325.51 - $281.62) which was $43.89 (about 50% more for the 2 items they cut heavier). No, there was no mention when I placed the order that the total cost might change due to extra meat. Neither is it shown on their web site or printed menus. When I protested, there was no option. If I don't pay the $43.89 difference, I don't get the Mother's Day food. After about 20 minutes of bickering at the counter with two different clerks (note the time stamp differences on the credit card slips), I was given my original order, with a net price reduction of ($281.62 - $254.93) $26.69. My persistence had paid off. On a positive note, the cook did, twice, walk up to me and quietly apologize for what was going on. I know many folks would have folded in this situation, but that's not my nature. I don't stand for dishonesty. Yes, it was embarrassing, other clients in line were not happy (I let them skip ahead of me so as not to inconvenience them). None of them had price increases. I don't know if the clerks wanted a tip because the management doesn't pay them much, or it this goes deeper and is standard operating procedure that assumes most clients will simply approve of the overage and pay up. In any case, from this client's point of view, this is a SCAM! When it was all over, I took my 11 and 12 year old grandsons (who had been sitting patiently waiting for grandpa to pay) and my food package to the car, drove home and proudly presented the meat to my family. After all, I am a hunter-gatherer; and the food was great!
