Yummy pho isn't just in a name, it's actually yummy pho! My fam and I had the pleasure of trying this place out during a Thursday for dinner. I can't help but notice how clean the interior is. As we glanced through the menu, first impression counts and they offered us free hot or cold tea! Mind you it's a small cup but it's the thought that counts. I ended up getting the pho with rare steak and a Vietnamese iced coffee. The staff brought out the goodies like bean sprouts, jalapeños, and lime in a min and the pho noodles in 5 mins. Talk about fast service! The pho was yummy, just the right flavor, and they were very generous with the rare steak slices too. What was the cherry on top was their homemade Vietnamese bbq chili! It's dark red in color and really went well with every bite of pho. I complimented how good it was and the staff brought out a plastic container for us, just so we can bring some of that yummy chili home! I truly appreciate you going the extra mile! My to go chili is running pretty low so we should make a trip back real soon! ;)

Service is awesome, but recipe needs work. We came once, but didn't enjoy the food so we decided to give it another try just in case our first experience was just a fluke. When it comes to phở in the OC, the competition is tough to beat. * Phở Tái, Gân, Bò Viên: 6/10 - broth had a slightly sour aftertaste and meatballs didn't have any tendon The workers were super attentive and friendly which made our experience even better. The place was very spacious and we enjoyed sitting in the booths. They're located in the Catinat Plaza which has plenty of parking, but can crowded at peak times. Overall, not the worst but also not the best.

I came back and wanted to try the beef stew but server said meat would be fatty ( since I asked for lean meat). So I decided to order the chicken pho instead. That was a great decision. It was very good! They served the chicken on a separate plate and it was so tender and juicy. I requested no chicken skin and instructions were followed exactly. Also requested not too much noodles and they gave me about 5 strings of noodles. That was hilarious. :) But it was my fault. Just didn't want to waste their noodles since I can never finish the whole bowl of noodles at any restaurant. Overall, great experience. Dipping sauce for the chicken was also very good.

We ordered the #5 which was the pho with ribeye, lean brisket, and fatty brisket. First off I usually add hoisin and Sriracha to my pho but I thought I'd taste it without and WOW, I definitely did not need to add any as the broth was very flavorful and the meat was super tender. We got the side of beef ribs and unlike at other pho locations, the ribs here were super juicy, tender, and filled with lots of meat. I'm used to other pho spots giving fatty beef ribs so I really enjoyed what this place had to offer. The staff was super friendly, very attentive, and the atmosphere was great. Unfortunately when I came they were sold out of Thai tea, but I don't blame them as everything we ordered was so delicious. I ended up leaving here absolutely stuffed and would 100% come back even though it is a bit of a drive from where I live. Definitely recommending this place to my friends and family, and I look forward to returning. Pro tip: This place is in the back of the plaza so make sure to drive down.

We came here on a Wednesday at 2pm so thankfully there was no wait. The pho is fresh and tasty, I got the ribeye which was so good because there was no fat on it. My mom could t finish her pho because they gave her a lot of meat! Ambiance is fresh and clean. Lots of tables and plenty of parking.

Lots!! $12.99 Pho suon, gau, va bo vien! I asked for tendons instead of fat briskets. Dude ok it then gave me fat briskets -_-

My nephew was craving Pho. I decided to go here because I remembered seeing a review from Vivian C. She mentioned that the quality was good and the portion was reasonable for the price. Thank you, Vivian! You were absolutely right. I was amazed with the amount of meats provided in the bowl. Totally worth it for $12.99. The flavor was great. I esp enjoyed the Pho here. It was really good. Hmm..i wonder what brand they got lol Fresh greens. We were a party of 4. We were only given one plate of greens, which had very little. We asked for more. The waiter did give us an awkward stare, but ended up bringing out more greens. So all good =) Hot tea was free, I believe. Appreciated it. Pho ga was not bad, but the broth was not hot enough. Pho was the better deal =) Will definitely return for pho =)

I came here a few days when their soft opening and I also went to their other Location in FV . Both places I was very satisfied, with the current price increase they sell a bowl of pho like that is very reasonable, very cheap and good quality . The ribs pho is my favorite, Not only beef ribs, they can also add rare meat and beef balls only $12.99 . Fast and very nice service you get free hot tea or iced tea as well. I'm definitely coming back to support them .

Grand Opening! Have to take the long drive! Lol

Came here on an early Saturday morning for Yummy Pho's Grand Opening Day! Parking was survival of the fittest and we survived! : ) It was located inside a Vietnamese Food/Cafe Plaza so it definitely got busy. We put our name on the waitlist with staff at the entrance. It was a wait but expected due to Grand Opening. We were given a table number and walked over. Staff came to take order. Then pay at the register. Prices here are also very reasonable comparable to portion sizes. Pho Ga/Chicken Pho - definitely recommended. If you're an American eater, you're in luck because their breast meats are cheaper than dark meats here but it's bone-in so get those 10 soldiers ready! Chicken meats (breast) were tender and well marinated where I did not smell the "meat smell" and dipped in ginger sauce! Broth was light and tasty. Beef Pho - rare steak, tendon, tripe. It was okay. I probably order Pho Ga when I return. Rich beef broth and tender meats/tendon. Staff was very fast with services today. Nobody checked in on us but it was very very busy so I understood - whatever we needed was brought to us within minutes. Staff was smiling, serving, constantly on their feet, checking on potential hangry customers waiting outside. Gift Box: every table receive a gift box with desserts inside. They smelled so good with all my favorite Vietnamese desserts! A must-have! Raffle: They also have tickets for raffle at the cashier for Grand Opening day. One negative thing though was that there are two Cafes on both ends and I could smell the cigarette smokes while waiting outside. only 2 seats for waiting inside. Surprisingly, restroom was very clean so that was a plus.

I've been to Yummy Pho before, but the soft opening of this new location brings pho ga/ chicken pho to the table and god damn it's pretty good. The kicker is the meat is salted steamed, while a lot of places will just boil it forever. Man this is some of the most tender chicken I've ever had with pho. I will say it does sell out pretty quickly for now, so if it's gone their regular pho is still pretty solid. But they even have a dry style too with soup on the side that I'm a fan of with mi! But place is clean and staff is friendly, can't honestly complain at all. I went 3 times in two days LOL

    Connie T.

They're known for their Pho Ga, which is what I'd return for. My husband had the Beef Pho--it was a bit different from the traditional style but still enjoyable. We also got an egg roll on the side; it came with three pieces. Service was decent, though you do have to pay at the register. The place is new with nice, modern decor. Overall, a good spot, especially for Pho Ga.

The broth is clean and they pack their meats. Such an affordable price for a big bowl

    Melody G.

The chicken pho was good. I prefer the chicken already in the soup and not having to cut it up. We did not care for the egg rolls. Very limited menu, but they are newer so I'm sure they will expand in time.

    Nice decor

Yummy Pho is located in the far back of the plaza, so don't miss the turn since there are no signs from the street. Service is great and plenty of seating. I think they specialize Salted chicken pho and it was delicious. I had the special combo pho and it was ok. I'd come back just for the chicken pho

The banchan was simple but solid too, especially the big slices of cucumber and daikon, along with pieces of pancake on the side. The stone pot rice situation was an adventure on its own. They ask you if you want them to pour hot water into the bowl to loosen the crispy rice stuck to the sides. I tried it. Felt very authentic. Still not fully convinced my rookie self handled it correctly, but we survived. What I liked most was the atmosphere and adventure. You can tell this place has a loyal following and there's a reason Yelp absolutely loves it. It feels authentic without being intimidating, and the portions are no joke. And the other cashier said in Vietnamese something about me, like "Con nhỏ này" & I thought maybe he's talking about something else-but then when he gave me the receipt of my refund, he said "and I don't want you to be a customer here anymore." I was very appalled and I stood there wondering if he really just said that to me after I had an experience. I asked him why he didn't want me to be a customer anymore. And he turns to a customer to ring them out, ignoring me. So I waited til he was done with that transaction & repeated my question. He flat out said "because you're annoying." WOW. That's just so rude. And unfortunate bc I thought the food was really good & wanted to come back for the clam & the sweet corn milk. So I definitely wouldn't want to be a customer anyways with that kind of attitude towards a customer. Btw they give you plastic utensils here even for dining in which is a con.

Really great individual hot pot deal for weekday lunch. It's $14.99 for the pot and a kumquat drink…read moreso it's such a good deal, especially in comparison to Boiling Point which the prices for have gone up recently and there's always a long line there. I also love the unique flavor options here! I really enjoyed the Mongolian lamb pot, the flavor of the broth was good and the lamb wasn't too gamey. The Thai style one was like a tom yum soup base. Both pots came with endless amounts of toppings and a choice of vermicelli or rice. I love individual hot pot because you can try a little bit of a lot of different things. Service was fast and efficient and the interior is spacious and clean. I'll definitely be back when I get my next hot pot craving!

Two strikes so I've got to write. :(…read more First incident: I had a good experience the first time I came here so I brought my husband and my sister back. Hubby ordered the salmon rice. The picture on the menu shows a piece of grilled salmon but what they brought out was totally different. Thank god, it was good anyway. Sister and I trying to order the same hot pot I ordered before and owner told us no, we cannot swap the pork belly out on the Thai hotpot. Told him I was able to do that before. He said "I'm not sure who let you do that but no, we do not allow that." I told him "you did, you let me swap the pork belly for the lean beef the previous time. I still have a picture of it on Yelp". Anyhow, he insisted No. We went ahead and ordered two beef hotpot's and the broth was salty. We had to pour some water in the hotpot to soften up the saltiness. Second incident: I came here on Thursday evening. Walked in that door at 9:10 pm and the server quickly told me: "No, we already had our last call!" Say what? the sign on the door says open til 10:00 pm and it is only 9:10 pm? If you don't want to serve late, then change your hours listed on the door and close those doors at 9:00 pm instead. Not good!!!
