Great spot for non chain options. Great broth. Service was excellent. Great menu variety and super affordable pricing

first spoon-full: soup base, noodles, veggies and steak, with some spiced up vinegar onion. Mmmmmm

Clean, airy, a nice view of the park, diner style building surrounded by windows! I love that when I asked for water, I was immediately met with "hot or cold," so I took hot. Salmon rolls Pho Tai with wide noodles (Northern Style!) and white onions with vinegar (free at any Pho place, but I like that they out them on the menu). I was surprised by the silkiness of the noodles; while I usually prefer al dente, the grew on me, so smooth and delicatein the rich, robust soup. The broth was light enough for me to regret ordering the salmon rolls, because otherwise Ibmay have drained the bowl. The salmon rolls came 10min after the pho, and so worth the wait: I ordered the full order (3pc), and one would have been enough: the salmon perfectly cooked (made me wish my father could have been here), with surprise crunchiness inside. (I'll be taking two home, yum!) I'll be coming back in a couple weeks: it's kitty-corner from my ENT, the fabulous Dr. Thanh Can Nguyen!

Good rib bone

Updated - Value is still good as you get options with rib bones, fatty brisket, and meatballs. Prices are bumped up as no longer 12.99, but proteins found are slightly bumped up to keep up with price adjustments. Service - 5/5 Did get a second refill of iced tea, which is a great feature as most places don't accommodate the beverage areas. Portions- justified as there is potential to split the meal into later halves and pack the left over broth and meats home.

Let's pho!

Oh no...not sure why the pho's broth was so salty at this location? I tried the other location and everything was good. I liked that the menu was simple and you can build your own bowl for a decent price. They allow you to choose any 3 items. The meats were ok. The tendons were cleaned well and not so hard. Overall, the pho was ok. Service was ok. RR avail Parking avail

Monday, Nov. 10, 2025 Approx. 1 PM Every time I drove past this place on Euclid St. and looked at the restaurant window, the inside was was filled with customers, so today I decided to go inside and give it a try together with my wife I and ordered the, "Special Combo Noodle Soup". Our experience was as follows: My wife: (She's Chinese) 價格實惠 店面亮堂乾淨 服務不錯 推薦! Me: (Born & raised in NorCal) They focus on one product only, which is making delicious and affordable Pho soup. They've got a couple appetizers, but the main character here is their soup. The essence of Pho is the beef broth, and the broth here is definitely homemade and not from a can, hence the delicious and authentic taste. I was really impressed with the amount of protein volume. (steak, lean & fat brisket, tendon & beef balls) included in the soup. The entry itself is $14.95, but the volume alone seems to be worth much more greater than the cost. And the meat selections were definitely fresh & tender. Lots of local Vietnamese customers here as well, which adds to the authenticity of the venue. My wife said that the waitstaff was very professional and were smiling while they worked. CONCLUSION: In this era of high inflation, if you want a delicious Pho soup at an attractive price, this is a definite go-to restaurant.

Pho bo kho

The bowls were a bit smaller in size for the price of $15.50. The pho was tasty. I had bo kho, the broth was on the sweeter side

For the price, location, and quality of food, it's pretty decent. Located right across from Miles square park, the restaurant is spacious. The outside looks American. Inside is clean and modern-plenty of seats. Ordered their beef stew and pho. Price has increased but it's still decent for the amount of meat they offered. For pho, there's two choice of noodle-flat and fresh or the skinny more chewy type. Broth is not as bold or rich as the more traditional pho restaurants but it's still good. They also offer their Yummy desserts like flan and tofu which is amazing. Service is mediocre-there's only one person that takes order but plenty of people to clean the tables and provide other services.

Pho was not bad, but nothing crazy good. I did get take out, so i can't rate the service or inside. However if you're looking for decent pho to go this is not a bad choice.

Pho Tai Bo Vien, soup had a weird taste, March 2025.

Came here because it was on the way home from a trip but instantly regretted our decision after receiving our food. There's only one size and not many options, so yelpers be warn. Pho quality is not that great when comparing to so many other well known places in OC. I ordered the pho tai bo vien and husband had th dac biet. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. The flavor of the broth had a weird smell and aroma, not like your typical pho. It's like bo kho mixed with pho, super weird. We're pretty sure whoever the chef is was cross contaminating because right after eating, we both got a tummy ache. For the quality pho options you have in OC, especially neighboring city like Westminster, so no spend your money here for low quality food! Their meat quality was not great, especially their bo vien (meat ball). Definitely NOT recommending this business for pho when there's so many other higher quality options.

I have been here before it was called pho Kim quy in the past but changed to yummy pho. Today, I went here with my dad since my dad took me here and told me that this pho place is good. I got pho tai bo vien and it was delicious, yummy, and great aromatics of pho. I love how they put a lot of green onion and offered pickled onion vinegar alongside with bean sprouts. The pho noodles were chewy, bouncy, and soft. The meat was tender, soft, and chewy. I would give this a 5/5 best pho I ever had. The service was fast & employee is very nice and friendly. The store has a great atmosphere, spacious, and clean. There is plenty of parking. I would definitely come back here to try their other pho options.

Pho tai bo vien and brisket

Revisited Yummy Pho because I was craving some delicious pho. Once again they were on point with their pho broth, rich beefy pho flavors, broth was bursting with flavors. I ordered the rare beef and brisket with thin noodles and it didn't disappoint! The bowl came out piping hot as it should and the aromas were amazing! The condiments were fresh and plentiful. If you need more limes, bean sprouts, basil, etc. they are so accommodating. I got extra lime because I like my pho sour. Staff members were all very nice, tentative, helpful, and efficient. Ambiance is nice, they have the holiday decorations up so it's nice and festive. Clean, lots of seating and lots of natural lighting which I like!

Feeling a little under the weather and wanted to try a new pho spot. The restaurant is spacious, clean, and has a clear view of Miles Square Park. The pricing is very reasonable - $12.99 for a a pho bowl with a variety of meats to choose from. Highly recommend getting the tender beef bone pho! Typically this would be more expensive but it is included with the bowl that includes fatty brisket and beef meatballs. Unfortunately the broth fell a little short for me. The soup was oily and a bit bland; lacking the aroma of pho spices and complexity. Overall a decent pho spot with great pricing and quick service.

First time here and got the special pho dac biet and it only comes in one size. Big enough to share and also tried their salmon spring roll. Pho soup wasn't burning hot how we like it but it tasted good. They do surcharge for credit card transaction so if you wanna avoid the fee pay in cash. They do offer either free water or tea!

Mai Phat still exceeded them! It has since become our go-to lunch spot, as well as a local favorite for my wife's family. They specialize in egg noodles - served either dry (with broth and main protein on the side) or wet like a conventional soup bowl. My personal go-to is the dry mì sủi cảo - egg noodles with sliced / ground pork, huge wonton dumplings, a shrimp cracker, and broth on the side. The wontons come in a super rich and delicious sauce that I actually got scolded for pouring over my noodles lol. The light and clear broth is very refreshing and well-seasoned. Excellent mix of perfectly balanced flavors from every component. Add chili crisp for extra oomph. My wife loves the mì gà quay - fried chicken leg & thigh with the signature egg noodles. This is honestly one of the most perfectly seasoned and cooked fried chicken I've ever had, and I've had a LOT of fried chicken. Service was prompt, friendly, and attentive Highly recommend Mai Phat for hearty, expertly crafted, and relatively guilt free Vietnamese comfort food

Yet, we were seated right away. We ordered two types of ramen and the ramen flavors are similar, with slight variations. I loved the melt-in-your-mouth pork, the broth was hearty, and the noodles were slurpable. We even enjoyed their spiked Japanese selzters. When we wanted to go, we did have to track down a waitress for our check, but, honestly how welcoming they were were and how cool the ambiance was made us look past this.

[Missing noodles, expensive ramen, bad customer service, and no reason to come back.]…read more I visited this restaurant to place a to-go order and picked up my food during a late lunch around 1:40 p.m. I ordered two items, including a bowl of tonkotsu ramen. When I got back to work in Santa Ana and opened my bag around 2:30 p.m., my ramen had NO NOODLES. It was literally just broth and toppings. I called the restaurant expecting a simple apology and a reasonable solution. Instead, the manager would not even speak to me directly and chose to communicate through a waiter the entire time, which made the situation even more frustrating. We went back and forth multiple times with the waiter acting as the middleman. First, they told me I could come back and pick up the missing noodles. That was not realistic. I was already back at work, and it takes me about 25 minutes to get from Fountain Valley to Santa Ana. Driving all the way back for a side of noodles made no sense. So I asked for what seemed like the easiest and most reasonable solution: a complimentary bowl of ramen on my next visit. Instead, I was told no, but they could give me "extra noodles" next time. Extra noodles next time? What exactly was that supposed to do for me when I was sitting there hungry with no actual ramen to eat that day? Then the manager, again through the waiter, said she would personally drive noodles to my job. I even told them that did not make sense because by the time she got there, it would be around 4:30 p.m. At that point, my lunch break would be long over, the ramen would be cold, and all of it would be a waste of my time, her time, restaurant resources, and gas. But I agreed, because at that point it was obvious they really did not want to simply offer me a free bowl of ramen on my next visit. And to be clear, I was not asking for some huge free meal. I was asking to be compensated for the ramen I already paid good money for and did not even receive correctly. For how expensive ramen is, that should not have been a difficult ask. About 10 minutes later, the waiter called back and said the manager would give me a free bowl of ramen next time I came in, which was the exact solution I had suggested from the start. I can only assume she realized how far the drive was and how unnecessary and impractical that solution would have been. Mistakes happen. Forgetting the noodles was one thing. But the way this was handled was unnecessarily difficult, inconvenient, and honestly kind of absurd. I did not ask for a refund. I was looking for an apology and some common-sense customer service. Instead, I got a lot of back-and-forth and a manager who would not even speak to me directly. Kudos to the waiter for doing their best to mediate the situation. Even they thought the situation could of been handled differently by the manager. Very disappointing experience. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this place to others based on how this situation was handled.
