Pho Shrimp + Broccoli and Pho Brisket and Thai Tea

I can confidently say Pho Lab has become one of my favorite spots, and it absolutely deserves all the hype. From the moment you walk in, you can tell this place is on a different level. The restaurant is spotless, the ambiance is clean, modern, and honestly feels a bit upscale without being intimidating. It strikes that perfect balance between casual comfort and a more elegant dining experience. Now the food... seriously incredible. The pho is rich, flavorful, and clearly made with care. You can taste the depth in the broth right away, and everything from the noodles to the meats is fresh and perfectly prepared. Every bite feels satisfying, and it's one of those meals where you don't want it to end. What really stood out to me though is the service. Even when it gets busy, the staff stays super friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. You never feel ignored or rushed, which makes a huge difference. They genuinely seem to care about your experience, and it shows. My friend and I actually came here to celebrate a new car purchase because this place is just that good, it's our go to and favorite spot. It felt like the perfect place to celebrate something special, and it did not disappoint at all. On top of all that, the pricing is very reasonable, especially considering the quality and portion sizes. You're getting a lot of food, and it feels like great value for what you're paying. Overall, Pho Lab just does everything right. Amazing food, great service, fair prices, and a clean, beautiful space. And I have to give a special shoutout to Tiffany, she is seriously amazing. She is so kind, welcoming, and attentive, and you can tell she genuinely cares about every customer who walks in. She made our experience even better and went above and beyond to make us feel taken care of. Tiffany is truly one of the sweetest people and such a huge part of what makes this place so special.

OC is the best place in the world for Pho and I'm a pho fanatic. PHO LAB is one of my favorites! The beef bone is top notch. The meat is tender and falls right off the bone. The broth is nice and savory. Not too thick but robust. Service is great. You may expect a wait but worth it and never too too long. There's a sign in paper wait list in the lobby.

Ordered the combination pho which came with all the meats (Except the rib), but it was excellent! Loved the broth and the meats were very tender! Not sure what type of grade the brisket was (Wagyu?) but it was so buttery soft! Best brisket i have had! Also ordered the garlic noodles with shaken beef. I thought this dish was just decent. The noodles weren't as garlicky and tender, and the beef was a little too chewy tough. The green aji sauce didn't have that nice kick. I would definitely come back for the pho!

Rating: 7.5/10 First time trying Pho Lab in Huntington Beach. Interior is on the smaller side with limited seating. Clean and simple setup, but not a ton of space. Service was okay - took a bit longer than expected to get our order in. Combination Pho Pretty solid. Broth was flavorful and the variety of meats were all well prepared. Nothing standout, but a good, solid bowl of pho. Garlic Noodles with Shrimp Best dish of the meal. The shrimp were excellent - cooked really well, shell-on, and packed with flavor. Garlic noodles were also very tasty and paired well with the shrimp. Egg Rolls Pretty mid. Not bad, but nothing memorable. Overall, solid food with a standout shrimp dish. Service could be quicker, but still a decent spot to check out.

Oxtail pho, egg rolls, side of steamed veggies, ribeye pho

Came after a show at the observatory. I had the ribeye pho and it was really tasty. I like that they don't overfill the bowl with noodles and give a decent amount of meat. Also got a side of steamed veggies and it was a huge portion. Bf got the oxtail pho and thought the broth wasn't as good as mine. The oxtails were hard to eat and pull apart and were did not fall off the bone. Crispy egg rolls were so good! Just wish they served them with lettuce and mint to roll them up with.

    Yay, 15%-off coupon.

Had this placed bookmarked for a while now to take my parents since they had 5 stars and was not disappointed, cute little mom and pop restaurant, I believe it was the owner that served us and she was very kind. We all ordered the build your own bowl of pho and a couple of our proteins were mixed up, but it was quickly reconciled and the meat we actually ordered was brought on a separate plate. Can't complain about having extra! On that note, I would've been upset if our orders were wrong and the food was bad too but everything we got was really good!! Rare steak, flank, tendon all tender, meatballs could've been a little fresher but not off-putting at all. Noodles were cooked perfectly and side veggies all super fresh. They also give you the option of raw or blanched bean sprouts without you needing to ask. We also got the pork rolls which were also pretty good given that the pork patties were nice and soft as well They tried to make up for the mistake by constantly making sure we had our waters refilled and were attended to, very grateful for the amazing service!

Having been to my fair share of pho restaurants, I was pleasantly surprised to find one that I liked in affluent area like Huntington Beach. Others that I have tried in nice areas are usually average at best and terrible at worst. But this place is legit. Definitely run by people who know how to make good pho. I also like that that they have vegetarian pho for those that don't eat meat. I've had the Pho Tai as well as oxtail pho and both were delicious. Also the lychee tea was refreshing!I will definitely be back!

Love that this spot opens late at night!! Plenty of parking, but the spot is a little small. We waited around 30 minutes for a table. Once seated, service was super quick! They got our order right away and our food was brought out shortly after. I got a bowl with the combination meats and it was soooo yummy! They do not skimp out on the meats at all! All the meats were tender and had such a yummy bite. The broth tasted soooo clean, I loved every bite. We also got the egg rolls to share with the table which was super yummy.

I probably had this place on my Yelp bookmark due to 4.8-star average rating with over 1,300 reviews. Pho Lab serves classic and traditional Vietnamese cuisine in Huntington Beach and the restaurant has another location in Lake Forest. [Parking]: No issue finding an open spot within the plaza parking lot. [Atmosphere]: Casual dining atmosphere. I wrote my name on the waitlist and only waited about 5 minutes on Saturday at 6 PM. The restaurant opens until midnight. [Menu]: The top two Yelp highlights are Pho Rib Bones and Crispy Egg Rolls. They also serve appetizers like Golden Pork Bao, Spring Rolls, and Popcorn Chicken. No pho? Other options include banh mi, vermicelli, rice plates, house fried rice, and garlic noodles. *** Pho Rib Bone (10-hour plus simmered beef bone broth, rice noodles topped with green onions, white onions, & cilantro - served with bean sprouts, basil, culantro, lime & jalapeno - $14.95): The rib bone was slow cooked in special broth for 4+ hours. It was a massive bowl with excellent savory broth. I was surprised to see 3 GIANT ribs! Noodle was a bit firmer than I would like, but absolutely great value for this bowl. Crispy Egg Rolls (mixture of shrimp, pork & vegetables fried to crispy to perfection - 2 pieces - $5.45): The description was right ... these egg rolls had perfect crispiness - not too crunchy and soft enough not to have too much flakes. Delicious fillings and definitely a must order *** Personally this is one of the best value pho spots in Orange County & I had a super satisfying dinner. Highly recommend this spot in Huntington Beach for anyone who doesn't want to drive to Little Saigon & still craves for some excellent pho.

Pholab is hands-down one of the best spots I've hit up in Orange County. Their broth!!! Ridiculously good. It's rich, savory, and just... comforting in that way that makes cold days feel instantly warmer. Honestly, it's the kind of bowl that hits you right in the soul. I've tried a bunch of their dishes and they've all been consistently delicious -- no misses so far. The customer service is always on point too; everyone's friendly, fast, and actually seems to care that you're having a good time. It does get busy (because everyone and their cousin knows it's good), but the wait moves super quick, so you're never stuck standing around for long. If you're in Orange County, do yourself a favor and check out PhoLab. Totally worth the hype, totally worth the stop. Highly recommend!!!

    Veggie Pho - 10/10 delicious!
    Jessica R.

After a long workday and some much-needed rain, I was craving a comforting bowl of Pho and decided to try a new spot since my usual go-to closed. After seeing Pho Lab repeatedly recommended in a local community Facebook group, and finding they were one of the few that also offered Veggie Pho on their menu and with an actual photo (which looked amazing!), I decided to give them a try. I'm so glad I did! Pho Lab was one of the few top-recommended spots that also offered delivery options (DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub), which made my decision even easier. My order arrived well packaged, and the vegetarian broth was still hot. The presentation looked just like the photo--fresh, colorful, and definitely made with care. The Veggie Pho itself was fantastic. Generous portions of bok choy, broccoli, carrots, baby corn, tofu, and noodles made every bite satisfying. The flavors were clean, comforting, and honestly 10/10 delicious--one of the best bowls of veggie pho I've had. Their menu has a great variety, and I appreciated seeing tofu spring rolls as an option. I'd love to also see them add a vegetarian and a chicken egg roll (no pork or shrimp) option as well as a vegan Pho option in the future--it would give them an even stronger edge. Another huge win: they're open late, 7 days a week from 11:00 AM to 12:00 AM. My previous spot closed early, so finding a place with great food AND late hours is a major bonus. I'll definitely be ordering from Pho Lab again. Highly recommend if you're looking for flavorful, fresh, and well-made

Everything about this place ... 10/10 Food is great, place is clean and staff friendly. I love coming here. The broth is so savory compared to the many places I've been to. Today, I ordered the Shaken Filet Mignon Garlic Noodles and they did not disappoint. Pho soups, Fried rice, spring rolls, that's usually what I order. All PHOfkn bomb

Mai Phat still exceeded them! It has since become our go-to lunch spot, as well as a local favorite for my wife's family. They specialize in egg noodles - served either dry (with broth and main protein on the side) or wet like a conventional soup bowl. My personal go-to is the dry mì sủi cảo - egg noodles with sliced / ground pork, huge wonton dumplings, a shrimp cracker, and broth on the side. The wontons come in a super rich and delicious sauce that I actually got scolded for pouring over my noodles lol. The light and clear broth is very refreshing and well-seasoned. Excellent mix of perfectly balanced flavors from every component. Add chili crisp for extra oomph. My wife loves the mì gà quay - fried chicken leg & thigh with the signature egg noodles. This is honestly one of the most perfectly seasoned and cooked fried chicken I've ever had, and I've had a LOT of fried chicken. We had asked for assistance because there wasn't any boxes for additional toppings for our ramen. She asked for spice level and went off to input our order. After a short time, our ramen arrived. We were surprised how quickly the ramen came out. My friend was curious about our other orders and we inquired with our waitress. By mistake, our waitress did not place the order for the other items. She apologized and inputted the rest of our orders. The ramen looked great! However, one of the disappointments was that the ramen broth was not spicy at all. The ramen itself and broth was a 3/5.
