This is a "3XL". It's just a regular with an extra half-order of noodles.

Liars and skimpers. They are charging $6 for the 3XL version. All you get is a half-order of extra noodles. They still only gave 3 slices of brisket. They still skimped on the soup; container was filled up to maybe 70%.

Do you have a late night craving for some Pho? I did, and this is where we went. Small business feeling, with great customer service and speedy delivery to my table. Definitely recommend coming here. Everything I ordered tasted fresh, authentic and home made.

Came in with my family to enjoy some pho. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious! We also loved watching the videos showing how the dishes are made.

#9 and don't forget that pickled garlic! Yummy!

This is my first time coming to this place and when I say delicious, I mean it. We got the beef pho ( #9) , the chicken pho and a small side of rice and chicken for the little one. They also had eggrolls, which were delicious a must when you go there. The Thai tea was very delicious. Also, the sparkling lemonade was very refreshing. They also have a bunch of condiments on the side that you can add to your bowl, but when I tell you, you don't need it you don't lol. The broth was beyond delicious and flavorful for both items. They have pickled garlic, which was so good. I actually was eating it just by itself. The service was fast and nice. The inside gave you a very mom and Pop vibes which I loved. On the weekends, they stay open to midnight so it's a perfect go to spot if you're looking for some comfort food at a late hour. Definitely will recommend this to other people and definitely will be back.

We love it here ! The nature sounds made the ambiance feel warm and comfortable ! Kelly was amazing ! Very alert and friendly! She made us feel comfortable and welcomed. She was very kind to our toddler Food was beyond delicious ! Portions were great ! We had extra to take home ! The broth is rich and savory!! Plus the fact they are open late night makes it even better

Been coming here when it was Pho 86 The meatballs are always the highlight of the meal. Plenty of protein packed in a medium sized bowl. Definitely good place for soup and without the long lines .

Came here for dinner on a weekday with my son. He ordered the vegetarian phở and I ordered chicken with the glass noodles to have something different. Phở was good and our server was nice but after bringing the food she never once came to our table. We were the only ones sitting in there. Basically if I wanted more water or something I'd have it get up and ask. I guess. Other than that it was fine but I'd might as well get take out and bring it home.

Food came out super fast which was great because I was starving. The broth is decent and there was ample meat, but I felt like the portion of noodles was less than other Pho restaurants. Still, it's a good spot for a quick lunch!

This is my fav late night pho spot !! Their house sauce is must try also . Friendly staff and my order always arrives hot and fresh . I order here probably once a week . My order tonight had the awesome surprise of free eggrolls which are my favorite thing there too ! Highly recommend !

Amazing broth very flavorful. The noodle was a little overcooked so it was kinda clumpy. But it was super hot eating into it which is good. The bowl remained piping hot throughout the meal. Napkins and many condiments are on the table so you can help yourselves instead of keep asking for the staff for extras like other joints. They also accept credit card which is great!

Our flight from Maui landed at Long Beach Airport at 9:00 pm and we wanted to pick up some comfort food on the way back to Orange County. Pho 88 is open until late so we headed there to check it out. Heard they were known for their chicken pho. So we ordered a bowl of chicken pho and beef pho along with an order of shrimp spring rolls. The beef pho was a bit too rich for our liking but even the small portion had a good amount noodles and meat. But the chicken pho was light yet flavorful with mix of chicken and onions with the sweet and sour sauce on the side rounded the meal out very well. The shrimp egg rolls were tasty but it was pretty standard to other Vietnamese restaurants. Couple things we wished was that there are more items in the appetizer section and slightly better service. Overall: 6/10

Mai Phat still exceeded them! It has since become our go-to lunch spot, as well as a local favorite for my wife's family. They specialize in egg noodles - served either dry (with broth and main protein on the side) or wet like a conventional soup bowl. My personal go-to is the dry mì sủi cảo - egg noodles with sliced / ground pork, huge wonton dumplings, a shrimp cracker, and broth on the side. The wontons come in a super rich and delicious sauce that I actually got scolded for pouring over my noodles lol. The light and clear broth is very refreshing and well-seasoned. Excellent mix of perfectly balanced flavors from every component. Add chili crisp for extra oomph. My wife loves the mì gà quay - fried chicken leg & thigh with the signature egg noodles. This is honestly one of the most perfectly seasoned and cooked fried chicken I've ever had, and I've had a LOT of fried chicken. Service was prompt, friendly, and attentive Highly recommend Mai Phat for hearty, expertly crafted, and relatively guilt free Vietnamese comfort food

I noticed another gentleman by himself at a table for four people. Hmmmm. Anyhow, there were about five tables total inside or maybe six. It was very warm inside since there is no AC. This is a type of life where you eat and leave as quickly because it's a no-frills no ambience type of place. That's fine with me except it was pretty hot. They charge you a dollar for a little tiny paper cup of water. I ordered the number one since this is their specialty or what they're known for. My mom had the bun thit nuong cha gio. My noodle soup had a good amount of crab pieces and shrimp. It seemed like there was not a lot of noodles though. I thought the broth was a little bland. I guess I'm just not a big fan of this type of soup. If there is a next time, I'll try the bun rieu. My mother was not that crazy about her dish. She said she didn't really like the egg rolls that much. For the price, the wait and the taste of the food, I likely will not be returning when there are so many other places in the area. I try to support various mom and pop restaurants, but for the previous stated reasons, I don't think we'll be back.

They have so many other options on the menu like chow fun, hainan chicken, and a ton of other noodle soup dishes. The last two times I came here was on a weekday during lunch so there was plenty of parking. However, I'm sure it gets packed on the weekend since it is located right next to the Asian Garden Mall. I showed him & everything & he was apologetic & asked what they could do to fix the situation. So I asked for a refund. And the other cashier said in Vietnamese something about me, like "Con nhỏ này" & I thought maybe he's talking about something else-but then when he gave me the receipt of my refund, he said "and I don't want you to be a customer here anymore." I was very appalled and I stood there wondering if he really just said that to me after I had an experience. I asked him why he didn't want me to be a customer anymore. And he turns to a customer to ring them out, ignoring me. So I waited til he was done with that transaction & repeated my question. He flat out said "because you're annoying." WOW. That's just so rude. And unfortunate bc I thought the food was really good & wanted to come back for the clam & the sweet corn milk. So I definitely wouldn't want to be a customer anyways with that kind of attitude towards a customer. Btw they give you plastic utensils here even for dining in which is a con.
