Nice interior and free parking available. Wonky online ordering system. It wouldn't let me use the coupons or order anything even without the use of any. I have also actually ordered a few times from this location previously and didn't have issues like this. Even when placing the order in-person, the coupons didn't work. It actually ended up costing more money trying to redeem a free burger coupon, for example. The cashier decided to charge the burger toppings individually so it ended up costing way more than me ordering a burger without the use of coupon. As in a $10.99 burger ending up being $19. Outrageous. The wait time can be awhile and the food was soggy and tepid. As in oil soaked through the bag, buns are soggy, and the food itself being tepid in temperature. Did I mention it was missing toppings I got charged individually for? Including tomatoes and cheese? I wouldn't recommend or return again to my own friends. My last visit was a disappointment and left a literal bad taste in my mouth.

Quality of food is good and so are the fries. Fries are on the thicker side but have a real potato taste. Portion can seem a bit small but it is filling enough and the prices are fair. Not my cup of tea but burger enthusiasts may enjoy this place more than me. I was glad to come with a friend to share all the food with. -MDC: Their classic burger. Get this if it's your first time -Mushroom Swiss Burger: A solid pick for mushroom lovers. -Shareable Fries: Fries with stuff on top always looks tempting, but the toppings here feel like they just sit there. Jalapenos help give some flavor but the queso tastes bland so I would just get the fries solo next time. Inside is a casual atmosphere. Food didnt take too long to make, but we also came on a near empty day. The service is nice but not always attentive. They were hanging around in the back a lot so we just ordered from the kiosk a few times. I appreciated that we could request they cut the burger in half for us! Lifestyle burger is good for a protein-friendly option if you want to skip the carbs. This is normally a secret menu item at in-n-out but they advertise and make clear hear what it's all about. This place overall reminds me of The Stand in long beach. Prices and quality are similar, except The Stand has a much larger space. The interior of this shop is small, but plenty of seating outside as it's in a small plaza in line with a bunch of other shops. Shakes are vanilla base and then they add flavor I think (it's what I saw happened with the mint flavor) but the chips in mint chip are thin and fun to eat.

Always great eating here. MDC x two today with a kids meal. Awesome service and tasty burgers

Stayed at a hotel nearby and walked here. I love this location, many different places to eat and you can eat outside. Gives you the option for folks to eat at different places yet still sit together. It was very good. I got the double Diablo burger lettuce wrap style. And fries. They get bonus points for having malt vinegar available for my fries and seasoning salt. Both were delicious. A little messy but it should be right? Service was quick and friendly and the place looked very clean and in order. I'll be back.

I've grabbed food from here a few times, and it's been delicious. The menu features a variety of unique burgers, shakes, and sides. The Build Your Own option is a great way to customize a perfect burger, and includes a wide selection of ingredients to choose from. Order through the mobile app, self-serve kiosk, or at the cashier's counter. The burgers I enjoyed were the Cheeseburger, Mushroom Swiss, and the Diablo Burger, which I made a single instead of a double. Both were flavorful, and the Diablo burger has a nice spicy kick. They also offer lifestyle burgers to cater to those seeking healthier options, including Keto, Vegetarian, and paleo burgers, among others. The kids' menu, designed for children 10 and under, offers a variety of options for the little ones, including a little burger, hot dog, chicken tenders, and grilled cheese. The staff is friendly, and the orders were promptly made. The parking can be a challenge, especially during peak dining hours (lunch and dinner). There's indoor and outdoor seating, as well as take-out. You can build points, get rewards, and deals through the mobile app. I'll be back!

I've been eating at the location in Irvine for many years. When I want a fast, top-quality burger I tend to rotate between 3 or 4 places and Mooyah is one of them. Recently I was hungry while in Cypress one afternoon and saw this location close by so I zipped over for a late lunch. This location is in a small plaza. It's tiny with only 5 indoor tables. There are several outdoor tables but the small umbrellas were not shading the 90 degree sun very well so I was lucky to grab the last vacant table inside. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger, an order of fries and a mint chocolate chip shake. They had a happy hour price for the milkshake which was a pleasant surprise. In general, I find their prices easy on the wallet. My order was ready in less than five minutes. The thin smash burger was delicious with bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and their special mooyah sauce all between a potato bun. The fries were excellent, hot and crispy outside. The milkshake was creamy and thick, but immediately suckable through the straw. The mint flavor was lighter than I expected but I loved the plentiful chocolate chips which sipped easily up the straw. Mooyah continues to get my love.

Outside of Restaurant. Mooyah - Cypress

Most likely a ONE AND DONE. This was my first time eating at Mooyah's. I ordered a single cheeseburger, fries and a soda. The meat on the burger was so thin, I could hardly taste it. Whenever I took a bite, I tasted the bun, the sauce and the lettuce. If, I ever go back, I will definitely order the double burger. The hamburger bread was soft and fluffy; it tasted fresh. The Mooyah sauce tasted weak; I hardly noticed it. It did not impact the burger one way or another. The fries were so soft, dark and oily that I could not get myself to finish them. Mentally, all I could think of was how these oily fries were clogging my arteries, with each and every bite. A would say, a single order of fries is enough to share. On the positive end the restaurant was clean. The interior tables were also clean, but the outside ones needed to be wiped down; not sure who is responsible for this. I wanted to love this place, but I just couldn't.

I got a lettuce wrapped burger with fries. It was super messy and hard to eat so I ended up using utensils. Luckily it tasted good. The fries were the regular order and way too much for one person. I will head back again to try a different burger and their sweet potato fries. FYI the MOOYAH sauce is basically thousand island dressing for those that are curious. I couldn't find a description of it anywhere.

AMAZING burgers!!!! I LOVE how fresh everything came out and tasted great! I got the Mushroom Swiss Burger and they did not hold back on all the ingredients too! The service was nice and friendly as well and the interior was very clean and not bland. I would definitely recommend this to someone who loves good quality burgers!!!

5 stars for Edgar! I found this place after a doctors appointment, this place is in an area with a bunch of other places with up close parking. I've never been to a mooyah burger but I've seen tons of people post about it. When I came in, Edgar immediately greeted me. They have a simple menu, but they have a whole section on it how you can customize your burger with a bunch of different toppings. We got two bacon burgers, a family size fry and then a strawberry shake and coffee shake. The shakes are half off for their shake happy hour which is just during the week from 2-5 You order at the counter and then they call your name. Only a minute went by after we started eating and Edgar had already came out and asked how everything was. He kept going around to all the tables asking how everything was and if they needed anything just to yell for him. He truly went above and beyond The burger was delicious i absolutely loved it. And I loved how seasoned the fries were. You can also get the fries loaded with cheese, jalapeños and bacon. Which, I HAVE to do next time. The shakes though! They are real ice cream shakes and they were so thick. The coffee one was delicious and didn't have an overpowering fake coffee taste. And I absolutely loved the strawberry one. They offer a variety of flavors. Not just the regular chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. I highly recommend them They also offer lifestyle burgers. Which include a vegan veggie burger, a paleo burger and a keto one. All wrapped in lettuce. They also offer an app. So if you come here often, download the app! They offer outdoor seating and inside seating

Mooyah Burgers is, in one word, "ok". Unfortunately, nothing really stands out here to warrant a return visit and with better burger places in the area, you'd be better off going to Habit Burger, In-N-Out, or Paul's Place. The burger is tasty but quite small for the price. With a single patty burger combo, with fries and drink, you might not be full. The workers also seem really nice but need more focus. There was two of us and we asked about the shareable fries vs family sized fries. We were told in-depth about the differences, small talked about it, and got an audible confirmation when we ordered the shareable for two. When the order came, it was just a single fry added to one of the orders.

Mushroom Swiss Burger
John D.

Good smash burger and fries. I got the mushroom swiss burger combo. The patty was smashed, but not too thin so it was still meaty and juicy. Really liked the mushrooms and fried onion strings. They could elevate the food a bit more if they toasted the buns on both sides, maybe even butter the bun. The patty was slightly on the under-salted side, but I still enjoyed it. I'll add bacon next time for the salt boost. Maybe the burger could use more sauce to liven it up. I've definitely had overly salty smashburgers before, which is not pleasant and so I normally avoid bacon on burgers. The fries were perfectly fried. Ate them plain, but it would've been nice to have an aioli dipping sauce. Overall, this is a solid burger joint with a ton of potential. If they perfected a few things, this could easily be the best burger joint in the area.

Heard this place's was finally open so we decided to come in and give it a try. Very clean, welcoming as we came in, good atmosphere (small dining area) No complaints food was alright not good or bad. Would I be back? Probably not (unless my son wanted to try on today's visit it was the hubby and I) It was just a one time for me and the hubby agreed

I ordered the curry chicken sandwich and wow... it was packed with layers of flavor! A perfectly spicy kick, a big juicy chicken breast, crispy fried onions, basil for and added layer, and the most delicious curry sauce. So good. I can't wait to come back and try more items on the menu. The guy at the counter was super friendly and helpful. I was a little hesitant about the spice level, but he reassured me I'd like it -- and he was absolutely right. Plenty of seating both inside and outside, with a relaxed, casual dining vibe. Definitely looking forward to my next visit!

For the third consecutive year, I've been put into a position where I've had to organize a catered…read morelunch for a group of 10 to 20 people at work. Not wanting to choose one of the two eateries I chose each of the past two years, I went with The Stand to see if I can give them the 4th star that I've been trying to give them for the past year or two. The final verdict? No, unfortunately. This year, I was in a rather unique situation where I also had the option to double my party size, and The Stand had catering packages that would feed both party sizes: The Feast for 10 to 20 people, and The Big Feast for 20 to 40 people. But don't think The Big Feast is twice the size of The Feast; rather, the only difference is an additional platter of 20 half sandwiches/wraps. Otherwise, both will have a platter of 20 half sandwiches/wraps, a large gourmet salad, a large side, and a cookie/brownie platter. After much deliberation, I went with The Feast with Meyer Lemon Broccolini and a Sidekick of Chinese Chicken Chop Salad with Chips & Guac. I chose all this to avoid the need for flameless heating kits since I wasn't sure how they'd work. I was drafting an email to the catering team to add some supplementary instructions I overlooked initially, but after the FIRST15 to 20 minutes following submission of my order, Sydney from the Catering team gave me a call to ask for clarification on some details based on my email communication. Really appreciate how punctual she was at this, and she was happy enough to send out an updated invoice. However, I learned from Sydney that the Meyer Lemon Broccolini would need a flameless heating kit even though the catering website did not mention that. In fact, during my email communication prior to placing my order, I pointed out that the Meyer Lemon Broccolini and Red Ginger Green Beans weren't listed as vegetarian despite being vegetables, and they confirmed they were indeed vegetarian, but not vegan. I noticed these oversights were immediately addressed after I brought them to their attention. However, their website still indicates their cookies are vegan when they are not; I'm not going to bother with another email at this point lol. I had given them two weeks' notice for my order, knowing that the catering team can change it on their end. I didn't want just one flameless heating kit, so I decided to switch out the Chips & Guac for the Mac & Cheese, which is about $13 more. I arrived about 10 minutes before my scheduled pickup time, and I saw my catering order out in the open on a table where any customer could just grab it and go. Luckily, there were only a few customers inside, and when I stopped by my order, Kim came out to greet me. We recognized each other even 8 to 9 months after those technical difficulties spelled out in my last review update. I asked her to review my order with me before leaving, but when she said "Chips & Guac", the abstract record in my mind came to a screeching halt. I asked to see the invoice, and it was the older version from before I made the switch. I later found out they had printed my invoice too early even though their catering team said I could decide as late as the day before. Luckily, Kim checked the kitchen and needed only about 5 more minutes for the side of mac & cheese to be ready. She also let me keep the chips & guac even though she initially said she could swap it out, so that was nice at least. I also appreciate how they waited until my arrival to make a custom grilled cheese sandwich for my vegetarian guest, who enjoyed said sandwich. I also asked to put that guest's name on the box so I could tell easily. However, my abstract record cacophonously halted again when Kim asked me to pull up to the front door so they could load my order into my car. I had parked close by and previously requested for at least one employee to help me carry my order to my car. Also, I didn't want to block the right lane of the frontage road through the town center, so Kim and a team member helped carry the order to my car. My guests enjoyed the food for the most part, and I used this opportunity to invite them to visit The Stand with their family/friends on their own time (and dime lol). My order included an abundance of sauces and dressings, and I also appreciate how there were label stickers on each half sandwich/wrap in the platter. However, I would highly recommend a different means of labeling these sandwiches/wraps. As an example, I tried to grab a Chimichurri Steak Wrap only to find out it was actually a Falafel Wrap, which was the only vegetarian option in the platter. Good thing I got my vegetarian guest that grilled cheese sandwich! Lastly, if you've managed to make it to the end of this review, I'll let you know there's a discount code for customers placing a catering order for the first time. You actually read it in this review somewhere. Missed it? Sorry, I'm not giving it out like that. You'll have to re-read the review :)

I ordered two smash burgers that included three patties each, which cost $15 per burger. They included caramelized onions and jalapenos, which were a delightful surprise. The patties were a little salty, but upon reading the other reviews, I see that the owner pre-marinates the patty meat. The prices were also steep for just the burger, and I thought my order would come with fries on the side, but that doesn't take away from the quality of the food. The owner is super responsive, and you can tell he wants to provide the best service possible. During this special pop-up event, they were serving two's a tango that features their warm brioche bun along with two halal patties smashed with cheese and carmelized onions on top. The burger itself was massive, with one being more than enough to feed a hungry person. After talking to the owner, he mentioned he pre-marinates his meat, so that could be the reason why the taste was a little salty for us. The sauce is awesome and complimentary, so when ordering, if you don't plan on eating the burger right away, to prevent sogginess, ask for extra on the side. I know some people prefer the meatiness, but I am a sauce type of girl. Overall, the flavors of the burger meshed well! Thank you for adding another place for halal goodness. I'm hoping you guys do well and keep quality up.
