I recently went to Baskin-Robbins, and it was about $8 for 2 scoops of ice cream. Here are Brusters, it was $8 for 3 scoops of ice cream, and the ice cream and flavor variety is much better at Brusters! It's much more richer, and you can tell that it's homemade. We ordered the peanut butter crunch, rocky road, and cookies & cream. I don't know why anyone would go to Baskin Robbins when you have Brusters around. Service was pretty fast. No line in the later afternoon, and the worker scooped our ice cream within 2 minutes of us ordering and paying. There are a few plastic chairs on the side, so you can sit and enjoy your ice cream in the shade. I'd definitely come back to try more flavors. read more

When I went to order, the guy at the counter let me know that his card reader wasn't working, so it was cash only. I ended up paying $8 cash for a single scoop, which already felt a bit pricey, but what really got me was how small the scoop was. It didn't even look like a full scoop, which left me a bit bummed. I tried the Oreo coffee flavor, and while it wasn't bad, it also didn't blow me away. The texture was fine, but the flavor didn't pop as much as I expected, especially for the price. I do like the atmosphere of Bruster's and the variety of flavors they usually have, so I am thinking this might have just been an off day. I will probably give it another shot when it is busier, since that might mean fresher batches and maybe a bit more energy behind the counter. However, be aware that the posted hours are not accurate. If you show up in the evening, you run the risk of finding out that they are closed hours before the posted closing time. We went to the Cypress location on May 13, 2025 at 8:30PM, based on the Yelp business hours information, and found that they were already closed. Also, their app is inaccurate, displays outdated information, drops orders, and is prone to malfunctioning so, best to order in person or your order may wind up in data heaven. I have been coming to this Brusters for a while now and never had a bad experience until last night. They have teenagers with no customer service training or skills working there. I ordered the strawberry cheesecake ice cream and I was not a fan. When I went back to the counter to tell the young man working that I didn't like the taste after one bite he just looked at me and said what do you want me to do. I asked if I could switch to another flavor and he said that they don't do that and even if he did switch he couldn't give me much. If that's true company policy that's trash! You charge $5.95 for a small and if someone doesn't like the flavor then oh well?! Horrible customer service, horrible policy if true and I won't be back to this Brusters location . I downloaded their App from iTunes and simply inputted a few pieces of info to sign up for their Brusters app. I ordered a single scoop waffle cone and only had to pay ¢.75 cents out of pocket and let me yell you it was delicious! I ordered the mint n chip and it was so soft and creamy, it literally melted in my mouth. Even though it was dark out, it was a great night for ice cream! This location is an order at the window kinda place and they were very efficient. Multiple windows were open taking orders and the young lady that assisted me was as sweet as the ice cream. You can also order pints to go as well as order ice cream birthday cakes according to my friend. I had never heard of Brusters before, but apparently they have several locations.
