I wanted to recognize Donna at Yogurtland in Cypress because she consistently provides outstanding customer service. Every time I visit, she greets everyone who walks through the door with a warm smile and a friendly attitude that makes you feel welcome right away. The store is always exceptionally clean and well organized when she's working. She clearly takes pride in keeping everything neat and making sure customers have a great experience. Donna is always cheerful, helpful, and genuinely kind, and her positive attitude never seems to change, even when the store is busy. I've been to other Yogurtland locations, but this is the only one I choose to visit because of the excellent customer service I receive. This spot is located at the corner of a plaza tucked away. There's plenty of parking. The store is clean, but there's times the chairs all over the place due to customers moving them. The past few times I came, they had 2-4 flavors that were unavailable. That was unfortunate. The toppings area tends to be a bit messy. This is probably the best priced location around OC at 65¢/ounce. The staff are all super friendly and welcoming. It's my favorite location to go to. read more

I'm pregnant and wanted a late night sweet treat and so I came here and the line was out the door and even though they had 15 mins until they closed when I arrived they refused to serve us by putting a sign on someone's back directly in front of us and that's how the cut the line off. Came here yesterday after running afternoon errands and school must be done for the day as kids started to come. They have a few machine that's not working but not labeled as such. Also, there's quite a lot of yogurt on the bottom of the machine and looks totally gross. Some of the toppings were scattered outside of the containers and looked very unappealing. There were 2 people working but nobody seemed to care to clean out the yogurt on the bottom of the machine and the fruit toppings as well. When getting my regular YL cravings, I tend to forget about this one when I am working in the Cypress/La Palma area. I feel its one of their smaller locations, but it delivers well. Google saves me every time.. The machines seem to work well, the consistency is there, and the facility has always been clean when I visit. Oddly enough the staff can sometimes be missing in back for a minute when trying to pay, but I assume they are doing upkeep on the machines to keep them purring. In my opinion they seem to run the same flavors longer than other locations, but there may be an algorithm to this that I am unaware of.. Pretty much just come to this one if I am in the area and have a mad hankering. for some reason they seem to be out a bit more than other locations and the staff here just always seem to be kids that are just playing around. Selection is not that bad they have the standard flavors but like I mentioned before, the seem to be out of stock more often then I would like to see. I had a very disappointing experience at this yogurt shop. My sister, our two friends, and I came in and asked for sample cups before deciding what to order. As I was filling my cup and getting ready to pay, the manager (a hispanic woman) looked at my sister and said, "Are you going to give me a dollar for the samples that you stole?" I was shocked and asked, "Is that a joke?" She then responded, "I just love when teenagers come into the store and steal." I explained that I was actively getting yogurt and was planning to pay, so I asked how that was considered stealing. Instead of clarifying or apologizing, she continued to be rude and made us feel like we were being accused simply because we were teenagers. Being treated with disrespect and accused of stealing when we were paying customers was embarrassing and completely unprofessional. If there was a misunderstanding about the sample policy, it could have been explained politely instead of making assumptions and insulting us. I went into Yogurtland last Friday afternoon, and I was really disappointed with my experience. The store was very messy when I walked in, and it didn't seem like it had been cleaned. When I politely brought up the condition of the store, the employee responded rudely instead of addressing my concern. I noticed her name tag said Vienlini. While I was waiting at the register, she was on her phone before finally helping me. The customer service felt unprofessional, and the overall experience left a bad impression. The best Yogurtland in the area - by far. They always have a large variety of flavors and the staff keeps the counters clean. For me it's worth driving a few extra miles to this location although the Lakewood store and the Spring Street store are much closer. Those stores aren't kept as clean nor do they offer as many flavors as the Cypress store. read more

Customer service was nice, good array of flavors, they were out of oreos and a few toppings but refilled when my son asked for one of the missing items. Came specifically for the Thai tea which didn't hit the taste buds the way I expected. Thankful for the free sample cups or I would've bought a cup brimming with it! The mango strawberry sorbet was the flavor I thought would be icy and so so but came out tasting like a gelato. Tangy and sweet with a punch of mango. I hope it stays through the Summer! This location does not have pre packed pints which is a nice grab and go option in the Seal Beach location. All in all still a solid 4 stars. They kept the store spotless, made sure everything was stocked, and treated every customer with real care and attention. I've frequented the Lakewood Yogurtland numerous times ever since a Yelp Elite Experience (YEE) at about this time last year, and I've enjoyed all the froyo I've had there. I recently earned a $5 off $8+ reward after visiting that Yogurtland three times last month, and when I was planning on eating at Egg N Bird, that's when I learned about this Yogurtland location at Cypress Plaza Shopping Center on the southwest corner of Katella and Knott. Egg N Bird and Yogurtland are in the same building. And it makes perfect sense too because Egg N Bird was established early last year by the founders of Yogurtland. I had just eaten a Nashville *nowhere close to Hot* chicken sandwich at Egg N Bird, so I just had to treat myself to a *cold or at least a cooler* treat at Yogurtland on this hot summer day! At Yogurtland, I used to do the self-serve where you would grab a bowl, fill it with a froyo flavor (or two), add your desired toppings, weigh them on a scale, and pay based on your custom froyo's weight. I was starting to get a little unhappy with this because I would not have a clue as to how many ounces my froyo is, and taking toppings off wouldn't be practical. That's when I decided that the pre-packed swirls were the way to go :) However, this time, I reverted back to the self-serve for the first time in quite some time, and now I can safely say I'm going back to the pre-packed swirls lol. Not that the froyo was bad, but my subtotal had to be at least $8 before the $5 off reward could be applied. I grossly overestimated the weight of my froyo bowl, and so when I scanned my Yogurtland barcode, the cashier couldn't see a reward on my account. When I looked at the scale, I asked her how much it was per oz. It was actually less than at the Lakewood location, so I had to go back and add more toppings to try to meet the $8 minimum. When I returned to the cashier, the weight increased, but not enough to make $8! I had grabbed a smaller bowl the first time thinking it would be enough, and not wanting to waste a perfectly good bowl of froyo with toppings already on, I grabbed a larger bowl, dumped everything into that bowl, and added more froyo and toppings. Needless to say, it did not look as pretty as before, but I could care less about looks if it tasted good. While the froyo tasted good, a lot of the toppings were so firm that I almost thought I was going to break my teeth trying to finish the bowl! I was already fuming after my visit to Egg N Bird (see my review to find out why), and if I wasn't careful enough with my bites, I could have hurt my teeth. At least it forced me to slow down and actually savor every spoonful of froyo in this hot weather. Nevertheless, the toppings still tasted good, but they certainly didn't taste fresh. I think they were still thawing after being previously frozen? At least that's what it felt like to me. I really didn't like the setup of this Yogurtland because there isn't as much open space in filling your froyo bowls. The self-serve machines are lined up against the left wall, and if you pass the flavor you actually want, you have to go backwards in line, and depending on how many other customers are in line, you might be better off going back to the end of the line. Same ordeal with the toppings. When I returned for more toppings, one of the customers seemed annoyed with me, but believe me, I was just as annoyed that I had to get more just so I could use the reward. Before stepping in line, I highly recommend looking at all the flavors and toppings (*without* cutting, of course), so you can prepare and minimize the chances of having to go backwards in line. Which flavor did I choose? I actually chose a mixture of two: Cotton Candy and Watermelon Sorbet. At each machine, there are two flavors, but three levers. The middle lever is a mixture of the two flavors, so if you can't decide between two, get the best of both worlds! Their selection of froyo flavors isn't as expansive, especially if you want a fruity flavor like I did, but I'm glad they had those two flavors since they don't seem as heavy as the sweeter, more decadent flavors. As for the toppings, they have quite a wide selection of fruits and sweets. I'm glad they have a good selection of fruits because I'm not sure Butterfingers and Reese's would go well with Cotton Candy and Watermelon Sorbet lol. Service was friendly. I almost feared that the cashier would accidentally apply my reward to another customer, but luckily, that wasn't the case. I almost wanted to give two stars, but I think my unhappiness from Egg N Bird carried into my Yogurtland visit, and it wouldn't be fair to give a lower rating to Yogurtland as well for something (or some things) Egg N Bird did even if they're under the same ownership. Nevertheless, I see no reason to return to this Yogurtland, especially since there are a handful of other Yogurtlands closer to me. But if you frequent this area and need to cool down like I did, it's a good spot. read more

This store is the WORST. It is the only Yogurtland that I have been to that is filthy. The machines have a lot of spilled yogurt on the trays below. The add on's are mixed and spilled out side the container. One of the most popular flavors, plain tart. has been down for a month now. The explanation I received from the employee is that flavor is too thick and the machine can not tolerate it. Every other Yogurtland I have been to can tolerate the thickness of plain tart.
