When I'm craving a sandwich and don't feel like making one at home, this is usually one of my go-to spots. I almost always order the Mini Club on herb bread, and the sandwiches are consistently fresh. The ingredients taste fresh, the bread is good, and the restaurant itself is always clean. My biggest complaint is the price. While the food is good, it feels expensive for what you get. My mini sub and a bag of chips came out to over $12, and the sandwich is only about four inches long. Even a bag of chips is around $2.50, so the cost adds up quickly. The other thing I'd like to see improved is hand hygiene. I've noticed employees sometimes go from working the cash register back to making sandwiches. While they may put on a fresh pair of gloves, I'd personally prefer to see handwashing before handling food again. That's just my opinion, but it's something I pay attention to, especially when it comes to food preparation. Overall, the food is fresh, the restaurant is clean, and the sandwiches are consistently good. I was craving a Philly cheesesteak and slightly in a rush so I figured I would try Jersey Mike's version and man I was not disappointed. I went with the giant size #56 which is the Big Kahuna (steak of course) with everything on it and went with the rosemary cheddar bread. The workers kept all the stations super clean and organized which was nice to see. You could smell the onions, peppers, and mushrooms cooking up and had everyone in the establishment wondering what sandwich it was haha. I smashed the whole giant size sandwich but I'm still as I write this and that was about 7 hours ago lol. I'll be back for that sandwich again real soon. read more

Wow! They tackled the hungry lunch rush like a well-oiled machine! Stopping by for dine-in, Jersey Mike's was busy with customers. However, the line sped along rather nicely, and I had my Extra Mike's Way Original Italian in no time, at all. While chowing down on my Giant-sized monstrosity, I noticed customers kept lining up (online orders, too) and the crew of 4 kept getting them on their way with their fat sandwiches. I got an email for my birthday, giving me enough points for a regular sub. I came in today and had a big kahuna. The guy who was working the counter is really nice and friendly. It was no weight. Poor service: 12/10/25, after 11 AM I'm a huge fan of Jersey Mike's b/c I usually receive great service. This location failed to deliver. A heavy set (White or Hispanic) woman assisted me and she had the worst attitude. She was impatient and very disrespectful to the staff and customers. Here's a quick lesson: When a customer does not want their sandwich Mike's Way ... let them tell you what they want on their sandwich. DO NOT bark every ingredient on the line. It's a waste of time. Hello, I had a very upsetting experience at this Jersey Mike's on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at 3:38 PM, involving the general manager, Marissa. When I first walked in, a young lady with glasses was working the register (THE GENERAL MANAGER). A short time later, a homeless gentleman came in and asked a question about his order. As he began to pull out his money to pay, Marissa--who appeared to be the general manager-raised her voice at him and said, "That's not your sub, that's not your order." Her tone was loud, dismissive, and completely uncalled for. Even though he was initially just $0.80 short, he quickly substituted a larger bill to cover it. Despite her attitude, he remained respectful, calm, and didn't cause a scene--and what shocked me most is that he even tipped her after the transaction. That part truly upset me. Even after being treated poorly, he still showed her respect and appreciation. That speaks volumes about his character--and volumes about her lack of professionalism. Marissa continued to act annoyed, rolled her eyes, and bagged the food with visible frustration, making it clear she didn't want to serve him. It was demeaning and uncomfortable to witness. When I asked, "Who is the manager?" another young lady behind Marissa (not the one with glasses) laughed and said, "You're talking to her." I then asked to speak to the general manager, and Marissa responded, "I am the general manager." I requested the store number and a copy of my receipt so l could report this further, which I absolutely intend to do. As someone who used to be a general manager at Pizza Hut starting at 18 and held that position for over five years, I was appalled. This is not how you conduct business. Being a leader means setting the tone for customer service, professionalism, and human decency--and what I witnessed was Sadly, this isn't a one-time issue. Every time l've visited this location, Marissa has shown a pattern of rudeness and an aggressive attitude toward customers. Today just made it impossible to ignore any longer. As someone who currently works directly with the homeless population, I can't stay silent. Being unhoused does not mean someone deserves disrespect--especially not when they're a paying customer and even tipping for service. I strongly urge the store owner or corporate office to review the camera footage from October 12, 2025, at 3:38 PM. It will clearly show what happened. I will be going above and beyond to make sure this situation is addressed, because what happened was completely unacceptable. read more

This location really needs to work on management. This update is due to the reply the business owner responded with to try to solve matters from my last visit. So they include an email to reply to, which I sent a follow up email and they don't reply. I think they reply on Yelp just to save face that they try to solve their issues, but it's just a front. Jersey Mike's had this cool promo where if you download their app, create a MyMike's account, and order a sandwich using the app, you can get a free giant sub...or two free regular subs...or three free mini subs...or maybe I should just say 144 Shore points. Having already had (and enjoyed) the #56 Big Kahuna Cheese Steak sandwich at the Jersey Mike's by LBX, I decided to try another hot sub at a different Jersey Mike's. Either I got the wrong sandwich, or they made my sandwich wrong, or I chose the wrong Jersey Mike's, or I'm just crazy. Or all of the above. After perusing the app for some time, I learned more about their rewards program. You get a certain number of points for your meal as follows: Kid's Meal: 3 points Mini Sub: 4 points Regular Sub: 6 points Giant Sub: 12 points While looking through all the subs on the app, I noticed that the giant subs were always less than twice the price of a regular sub and less than thrice the price of a mini sub. Therefore, I came to the conclusion that if you want to earn the most points while spending the least amount of money, Giant subs are the way to go. A Giant sub is twice as big as a regular sub, and so if a regular sub is filling enough for one meal, a Giant sub will fill you up for two meals. Shore points can be redeemed for free sub sandwiches as follows: Free mini sub: 48 points Free regular sub: 72 points Free giant sub: 144 points And you can't spend more than 144 Shore points in one transaction. Okay enough about their rewards program. Time to talk about the food! I looked over all the subs and decided on the #20 Grilled Pastrami Reuben. I hadn't had pastrami in who knows how long, so I figured this would be a nice change of scenery for my taste buds. Unfortunately, my taste buds didn't seem to agree. More on that later. I arrived at the Plaza 183 Jersey Mike's just north of Los Cerritos Center one minute before my scheduled pickup time on a Friday evening. There were a couple customers in line, but I initially didn't see where the online pickup station was. A few seconds after entering, a team member asked if I was here for pickup, to which I answered affirmatively. He directed me to my giant sub, which was in a giant paper bag. Stapled on the bag was a bump ticket infested with grease. Not exactly the best first impression for this Jersey Mike's, but I figured that was going to be the only blemish on this trip. I grabbed a few napkins from the nearby napkin dispenser and headed home. When I got home, I noticed that the sandwich wasn't hot even though it was supposed to be a hot sub. Okay well maybe it might still taste good? I opened the sandwich, and I saw 95% pastrami and 5% everything else even though the sandwich was also supposed to consist of swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and thousand island dressing. I saw tidbits of the three, but by no means did I taste any of them. It felt like I was eating dry pastrami on dry bread! Not particularly appetizing I know, so I ended up getting mustard from my fridge and dousing the sandwich with a ton of the yellow stuff. Needless to say, the sandwich tasted MUCH better with all that yellow stuff, but I was hoping for more Thousand Island in my sandwich. My Giant sub was cut into two halves, and I ate one half for dinner that night, leaving the other half in my fridge for lunch the next day. Strangely enough, my lunch the next day tasted better than my dinner that night after nuking the (half-Giant) sandwich for a good one minute. Still, I could only taste the pastrami, bread, my mustard, and the newly-added BBQ sauce, also from my fridge. Will I return to this Jersey Mike's? I might give them another shot, but I definitely will NOT be ordering the #20 Grilled Pastrami Reuben again as it was a disappointing way to end a busy week. Since I mentioned I enjoyed the #56 Big Kahuna Cheese Steak from the Jersey Mike's by LBX, I'm almost certain my next sub at Jersey Mike's will be a Cheese Steak as well, but a different one. I just hope that their lackluster Grilled Pastrami Reuben isn't indicative of this Jersey Mike's as a whole. I generally like Jersey Mike's better than Subway, but my last visit almost makes me want to go back to Subway just so I could forget about the Grilled Pastrami Reuben. read more

Went here to grab some dinner for my guys at the shop. Wound up getting two Phillies with mayo and two cold subs. Midway through eating the philly I felt something sharp cut my mouth and it turns out its shards of plastic along with a plastic tip that I can only assume was from them adding the mayo to the sandwich.
