They barely put any chicken or meat in the bowls now I think Corporate needs to do a follow up on the store branch and Work on portion size. The customer in front of me had the same complaint

Indian girl who took my order was extremely rude to me and the staff behind her. I will not be coming back to this location again. How hard is it to be nice and take my chicken bowl order. Owner of this establishment should look for better attitudes to hire. Thanks

WaBa that for lunch? https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=gwZ8towI3tzgIJ1joVWbmA&userid=xsT4KZTu_KnOVavtuXn4RA Buy One, Get One Chicken Bowl promo Free dumplings w/ first order from the app *Social Distancing review* Never wasting a good promo when I see one, WaBa Grill takes the place of a forgotten & short-lived teriyaki place. Similar to Flame Broiler, complete with skinless chicken (because that's supposedly "healthier"), I knew what to expect prior to ordering a chicken bowl. Chicken bowl- https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=JDSP4gEbWb2tNLKgQ9VsyA&userid=xsT4KZTu_KnOVavtuXn4RA Diced, white meat chicken over a bed of white rice, with a slathering of the signature WaBa sauce. On the bright side, the bowl will fill you up. However, coming from a big Yoshinoya fan, the WaBa sauce is required to add flavor tootherwise dry cuts of meat. The rice was fluffy, though. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=zhYmsAEj6FzNbFAwD8V1pQ&userid=xsT4KZTu_KnOVavtuXn4RA Service was good. On my first visit, I ordered in person. The second, I ordered via the app, both with minimal wait. Parking is via a small private lot, shared by Popeye's Chicken. More available at the adjacent Food 4 Less lot. To-go & delivery are the only available options, due to current events. Maybe if I paid extra for the ribeye, wild caught salmon or shrimp (tofu available, too), the term "meh" wouldn't have popped into my head while eating WaBa Grill's chicken bowl. Fat is flavor, and is good for you. The chicken bowl does provide calories & a substantial meal, but without a promo available, I don't think I'd be a frequent customer.

Found this mom and pop resto and it BLEW US AWAY! It's a small resto and even their restroom is all the way to the back and you go thru the kitchen. It's truly like being in someone's house. But don't let it fool you coz their food is freakin' delish!! I love love garlic noodles and crispy pork belly by itself and lo and behold, they had garlic noodles with crispy pork belly. BOMB!! The garlic noodles were so tasty but not overpowering and the pork belly was crispy fried to perfection. It was homey simple and freshly made. TOTAL OUT OF BOUNDS. I can honestly say, that this dish was worth a Michelin star!! And I got my self a cucumber lemonade and it came with a big plastic container and it was so refreshing! I told Lily, the owner, that she is doing something special with her food and I will come back here soon to try their other offering. If u haven't been to this place, do me a favor and stop what you're doing and if you're not even that hungry, come to this place and try it. And kindly tell me what you think!! Thanks

Visited Coconut Rabbit on a Friday evening with my family and mom. We originally chose this place…read morebecause of the great reviews, and I have to say--it definitely lived up to the hype! Service was fast and efficient. Ambiance was great, clean and friendly. This is easily one of the best Thai restaurants I've tried. The flavors are bold, savory, and packed with umami. From the first bite, you get this delicious combination of tamarind and savory flavors that really stands out. What we ordered: * Pad Thai: By far my favorite. Easily one of the best Pad Thai dishes I've had--so flavorful and well-balanced. * Blue Crab Fried Rice: Great flavor and really enjoyable. * Pad See Ew: Good, especially if you're craving thick, chewy noodles, although it was a little on the salty side. * Tom Yum Chicken Wings: My least favorite. They were still tasty, but honestly tasted more like fried chicken with herbs and a side of sweet & sour sauce. I didn't really get any tom yum flavor, so the dish didn't quite live up to its name. Overall, everything was delicious aside from the wings not being what I expected. Definitely recommend giving Coconut Rabbit a try, and I'm already looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu!

Good Thai Food, Service Could Be More Attentive…read more Visited: August 4, 2026 Location: Coconut Rabbit Thai Bistro, 4280 Katella Ave., Los Alamitos, CA 90720 We recently had dinner at Coconut Rabbit Thai Bistro and overall had a decent experience. The Pad Thai with chicken ($17) was one of the better dishes we tried--good flavor and nicely prepared. The cream cheese wontons ($11) were also very good and probably one of the highlights of the meal. We also tried the coconut dumplings ($14), spicy edamame ($7), pineapple fried rice ($19), garlic pepper beef ($19), and pumpkin curry with shrimp ($22). Everything else was okay, but nothing really stood out as exceptional. We also had two Thai iced teas ($12 total). The biggest drawback was the service. It wasn't bad, but it was definitely not very attentive. We would have appreciated the server checking on the table more often, especially during the meal. Our total was $121 before tax, plus $11.19 tax, bringing the bill to $132.19 before tip. Overall, I'd give Coconut Rabbit 3.5 stars. The Pad Thai and cream cheese wontons were the standouts, while the rest of the food was average. With more attentive service and a little more consistency across the dishes, this could easily be a four-star experience.

I really enjoyed the Japanese-Italian fusion concept--creative, but the flavors still worked really well together. We tried several dishes, including the steak, seafood pasta, scallops, pork with steamed buns, and a variety of desserts. The seafood was fresh, the meats were tender and flavorful, and the pasta dishes were rich without being too heavy. Dessert was a great way to finish the meal. The omakase menu was perfect for our group because we got to try a little bit of everything instead of ordering just one entrée. We ended up getting Mango Grahams, Pancit, Siomai and Popcorn Chicken. Before we placed the order, it was communicated clearly from the staff that there would be a wait (there were 3 parties ahead of us, and one of them was huge, so we kinda expected a wait anyways.) We also weren't in a rush and were willing to wait regardless, so that didn't really bother us. The Mango Grahams were exactly and more than we expected; definitely satiated my cravings. The food was also good and arrived in a reasonable manner. Again, we only wanted to check this place out because of the Mango Grahams, but we were surprised at how many other options they had for desserts, appetizers, food, and drinks. It's a bit of a drive for me, but I wouldn't mind the distance knowing the quality and options they have. Also, I briefly looked into this place before driving here, and I was expecting like a quick "boba store" environment, but it also has a sit down ambiance. Great for quick hang outs with friends or sit down meals with your family. Also, I'm specifically writing this review because of the staff. Given how busy they were, I want to recognize how friendly and welcoming they were. There were lots of orders, but they came out in an understandable amount of time, and the person in the front always had a smile of her face. She always communicated clearly and warmly about the waits, and was very accommodating to the customers. I can't wait to go back for more Mango Grahams (and also check out their other menu items!)

Pineapple Fried Rice- Flavorful rice and the contrast of the pineapple pieces was bright and refreshing. They gave us a generous portion. Longanisa- This was served silog style with garlic rice and fried egg. Longanisa was sweet and meaty and paired well with rhe rice and egg. A breakfast classic you can eat any time of the day. Lumpia- This is always a favorite. Fried to perfection so you get a crisp exterior and a juicy interior. Paired well with sweet chili dipping sauce. Good experience but service could be improved.

The decor is modern fast-casual with a bold orange-and-black look, a ribbed black wall with the logo, and orange metal chairs. They had K-pop playing, which was fun while I waited. Service was fine overall, but the greeting felt a little flat, and the cashier assumed my order was to go, saying, "I'm guessing your order is to go, right?" It wasn't a huge deal, but it set a tone that wasn't very welcoming. I ordered the sesame chicken bowl. Presentation was decent at first and I had hope, but the texture and flavor didn't work for me. The breaded chicken was dry and chewy instead of crispy, and the sauce didn't taste like a sesame sauce. A little fresh garnish or actual sesame seeds could have helped, but as-is it felt pretty bland. I took a couple bites and couldn't finish it. I don't mind paying around $10 for lunch when it hits, but this one didn't. I'm glad I tried it, but it wasn't for me and I won't be returning.
