As for the food it's pretty darn good. I had a roasted turkey BLT full size for just under $12.00 after tax. The portion was quite big so I saved some for after. I ordered rapid pick up for lunch time because I knew it was going to be busy. I grabbed the bag and headed back to work. Then when I got to work I reached in the bag for my sliced apple. And it was black and starting to rot. Instead of going back to this Panera I will stay going to the one located at the Lakewood mall. So I came here a second time and ordered rapid pick up again to be disappointed... my Tuscan grilled chicken did not come with chicken and I took it back up and they gave me the chicken. Then when I got home ready to eat my sandwich they put the wrong tomatoes in the bread as weel so instead of the sweet sun dried tomatoes I got regular tomato slices. Service is great (which is why I decided on four stars as opposed to three) and the self-serve kiosks make it easy to order and get your food/drinks quickly. Also, there is plenty of seating so that you can practice social distancing indoors. Ultimately though, the food wasn't all that great. The cinnamon roll I ordered wasn't warm at all and very crumbly. My mom ordered an avocado, egg, and spinach sandwich which I thought was mediocre (it needed more flavor). The Vanilla Cream Cold Brew was extremely watered down and could have been sweeter. The only highlight might have been the blueberry scone. If I could leave negative stars I would. My cousin and I just grabbed a quick dinner to go and while she was eating her broccoli cheddar soup she found a maggot in the soup. We called and came back for a refund. The manager tried to act like it wasn't a big deal and only refund the broccoli cheddar soup (even though it was $27 purchase). He only gave me a full refund after he was called out on trying to only refund the soup. He then had the audacity to try and offer me more food. The free coffee promotion or covid has their customer service creating horrible experiences. Here's that pst experiences I've had. 1. Curbside pick up - I've done this MANY times and it's always been a long wait. Today was no different, except I had to go into the store after waiting 15 minutes with no one outside waiting curbside. Asked for my order and they said is that it behind you on the shelf? As if I'm the dummy... so I pick my order up that was made 15 minutes ago and take it home. Sure enough it's missing entrees! I don't have time to deal with this crap. Please don't offer curbside pick up and in store pick up if you're going to just leave everything in store. Is it my fault for not checking my order before leaving? Sure, but the added bs of not doing curbside contributed to my flustered state of being late for a meeting because they can't do what they advertise. 2. Separate occasion, ordered dinner. One of our meals was canceled when we were waiting outside in our car (curbside again for it). It was the end of the day for them, they close quite early. Instead of letting us know they went about cleaning and going home. This was AFTER they dropped off one order and we inquired about the other, delivery person said let me check for you, they never came back. We had to bang on the window like crazy people to finally be told the ordered was cancel, whole ordeal took 45 minutes. Surprise your order is canceled, have fun with dinner... oh and the food we did get was the worst Panera I've ever had the salad was so soggy and old. I get it covid is beating us all up. But if you look at other places that know customer service ... it's not an issue. Try chick fil a and tell me if the experience is different. Typically Panera's food is good. I never had an issue with this Panera's until recently. First I went to this location 3 times within two weeks and they either run out of the egg soufflé or they aren't making it. Which was quite disappointing. And this was before 8 or at 8 am. Then when I got my soufflé today it was literally half the size it normally is. Unfortunately I couldn't bring it up to the manager since I had already left for work. Although it taste great it just didn't feel it was worth the price I payed for how small it was. I didn't think I'd care for Panera since I'm not too big on sandwiches but I started coming here recently for their soups ever since I got my wisdom teeth pulled and had to go on a liquid diet. To my surprise I actually liked it more than I thought I would. Their seasonal autumn squash soup was perfect when I just had my teeth pulled because it was creamy and sweet. My taste buds were numb too so the extra sweetness helped, although I think it would be too sweet after a while. It's almost like eating a dessert. As my teeth healed I switched over to their chicken noodle soup because I needed some protein to expedite healing. There's nothing quite like chicken noodle soup when you are sick. The chicken pieces are pretty good size and tastes very homemade. I like it so much I rarely order anything but the chicken noodle soup when I visit. On my most recent visit I switched up a bit and ordered the country mushroom soup and asiago steak sandwich using the You Pick 2 option. The mushroom soup was somewhat salty and very pungent but not bad. I'd still stick with the chicken noodle soup. The asiago sandwich has seared top sirloin, smoked cheddar, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and horseradish sauce. The flavor combination was great, especially because I like horseradish. Only thing I didn't like was the bread. It was too hard and chewy. All entrees come with your choice of chips, apple, or bread. I usually just order a bowl of soup and soak the bread in the soup. It's quite a satisfying meal. If you visit frequently, pick up a My Panera Member Card at the register so you can start earning points and rewards with each purchase. Not everyone is welcome at Panera in Cerritos. Just one day after this location had announced that its dining room reopened, I came in, got a coffee, and sat down at a table to work on my laptop. While working, with my coffee still half full, a Panera associate approached me and communicated that I needed to leave. She said that I had "no reason to be here" and was not allowed to "linger" according to a new policy. This Panera has posters outside its windows that read, "Welcome Back Home." What does that even mean if you're going to tell a customer to leave? I had followed the posted instructions to wear a mask coming in and social distance in a nearly empty room. There were no signs that indicated any limitations on sitting inside, yet she told me that I could not stay. I felt shocked, insulted, and humiliated. I reported this incident to Panera Customer Support. I thank the agent who empathized with me and was confused about which policy this Panera associate was trying to enforce. read more

I have been to the Panera in Whittier Norwalk Downey and Lakewood for the brew coffee I can conclude Cerritos is the one that makes it properly. I've always enjoyed this Panera because it's close to my house and convenient to get to. As a coffee lover, I got the unlimited coffee pass. As one of the reviewers below mentioned, the coffee is very watered down. I know this because I just visited the Brea Panera yesterday and tried their iced coffee and it was fantastic so it isn't all Panera locations. I have tried the hot brew here and the iced coffee now and they are both watered down. The iced coffee, it appears to me they fill the cup with ice and pour their hot coffee in it and it's all melted. There is absolutely no ice left to enjoy. I hope a manager will see this review and improve how they brew their coffee. I enjoy the soup and salads at Panera and I like that this location is local, but PLEASE fix the coffee or I will start to avoid this location. read more

Every time I ordered sliced bread, it never failed to keep me waiting forever. Today, I ordered flat bread pizza and sliced baguette to go. My pizza got ready, but I hadn't had my sliced baguette yet. So I asked the cashier girl where's my baguette, and she said she would do it now with a little annoyance. And she still kept me waiting for good 10mins after that. By the time I got home , the pizza was cold and hard. I was disgusted and threw it away after 2 bites. The customer service here is pretty good but with that said, they mess up my online order at least 30% of the time. If you can remember to double check your "to-go" order before you leave then you're good but it's pretty inconvenient. They are small mistakes like giving you the wrong side or dressing. I'm so done with this place. I've spent my precious minutes before work -- on multiple occasions -- to get 3 bacon souffles. I tried six times, and I was only able to get one souffle, another flavor, or nothing at all. I was told they didn't want to make too many for fear that they would make too many and would have to throw them away. What is going on with this situation if that they can't figure out to make enough food within the first hour of business? They have plenty of customers dining and people working. I estimated that they lost multiple sales from me, because I just decided to go to Marie Callendar's and buy a quiche. They sell it all day too, so I don't have to hustle before work in hopes to buy something that isn't there. read more
