I came back for the Bacon-Jalapeño Jam Burger. To my pleasant surprise, it was during Hoppy Hour (3-6 PM, 9-close daily). Daisy did a phenomenal job with my order while being very friendly & attentive. Kinda reminds me of Finney's and I need to try the Bison burger!

Came to enjoy different types of burgers and loved my experience . Service was friendly and the ambience was very chill. I will definitely return to try more

Just making my timely updated review. The lights were still dimmed, which brought a great ambiance to the dinner experience. It was very relaxed and just had chill vibes. The evening started off strong, as we stopped by during Hoppy Hour (around 9ish). There wasn't a wait, and it wasn't too busy, so we were seated right away. The front staff was nice and polite. She gave us the option of either a tall round table or a shorter rectangular table. We of course, opted for the slightly shorter (height-wise) rectangular table. Once we were seated, we were given the menu, and the waitress told us that we would be right with us. She stopped by to ask about drinks, and we opted for water. She dropped off water and came back with perfect timing because by then we were ready to order. I also love the simplicity of the menu. There really aren't too many options where you feel overwhelmed, but there are still enough choices to pick from. Shout out to the pastrami quesadilla, I didn't realize it had been swapped for a new menu item until I asked about it this time around, but I'll be waiting for its comeback! We ordered a few items: the mac and cheese balls, the Wagyu bone marrow burger with truffle fries, and a double smash burger with ribbed finger potatoes. We had to get the mac and cheese balls since it was Hoppy Hour! I also didn't realize that on Wednesdays, the double smash burgers are half off. I'll definitely remember that for next time. After we ordered, the food came out quicker than I expected. It was a nice surprise. I think the first item came out about 10 minutes after our initial order. The mac and cheese balls came out hot, which was great. The breading made them super crispy and gave a nice crunch that balanced really well with the softer, chewier mac and cheese inside. I was glad the inside wasn't too runny since that would have made it like lava! I didn't see a cheese pull this time, but next time I'll try again to see if I can catch one. It was a great start to the meal. The burgers came out shortly after we finished the mac and cheese balls. I totally forgot that the truffle fries came with sauce. I should have asked for the sauce on the side, but it wasn't a problem that it was added on top of the fries. It just made them get soggy a bit faster, but that's no problem; it just means I've got to work faster! The burger was good and came out super juicy. I asked for it medium, and it looked about medium, so no complaints here! I never realized before, but the bread was so fluffy... it was a super pillowy bun with a nice bounce to it. It definitely helped balance out the meatiness of the patty. The hint of tomato gave it a nice, refreshing bite and really helped cut through the richness of the meat. The onions also added a nice sweetness to the burger, which was appreciated. I also snuck a bite of the ribbed potatoes, and they were good as well. They were a bit crispy on the outside and nice and soft on the inside, with just a touch of saltiness. I also stole a pickle from the double smash and realized I probably should have asked for pickles on my burger, but I'll remember that for my next visit!

Had an okay experience! The wait was long, our server was great, and the food was okay We came on a Sunday a little before 6pm with a party of 4. My friend got there early to put our name on the list. The restaurant appeared empty as there were lots of open seats/tables but it took us 40 minutes to get seated. The hosts were apologetic and we chalked it up to the fact that they were potentially understaffed. But it was definitely a bit frustrating to wait 40 minutes From there, the experience was pretty seamless. The service was generally good! My husband and I ordered Brussels sprouts, truffle fries, and a Bacon Jalapeno Jam Burger. Food was pretty standard! Good but nothing to write home about. The burger patty was cooked well, but the bun was a bit dry/stale. Brussels sprouts were good and the truffle fries were probably the tastiest thing we had. Overall, a mid experience!

Tried out the umami burger, with mushrooms and pickled onions, it was pretty solid! Unfortunately, the Fresno fig came out cold and the fries were overcooked/too hard. Almost like both were just left out for 30 minutes before they were put on the table. Service was fantastic, always someone coming to check on us every 15 or so minutes! Love this place for its outdoor seating, it makes for a very relaxing eating environment.

It's been almost a year I think since I've dined at this establishment and today we had a party of 5. Service from the hostess and waiter Joseph was on point from start to finish. For the food, we were able to catch the last of the happy hour so we started with some wings, mac n cheese balls, and my favorite fried pickles. For the entrees, I went with trying the Philly cheesesteak for the first time with onion rings as an upgraded side. I was very shocked at the quality and would definitely order it again. We had a couple of black n blue mushroom burgers, a jalapeño egg burger w/ no bun, and fish n chips (forgot to take a picture). I tried the non boozy flight which was excellent. One of my people got a lychee martini, another got a mocktail, and one got one of theirs energy refreshers. The surprise of the night was the delicious carrot cake and cheesecake. I would come here for a late night snack just for the desserts.

Great food, good vibes! When I walked into this place, I was greeted with somewhat of an attitude, though I understand as I went with a little under than an hour left before closing. I ordered a burger, fries, Coke Zero, some lettuce wraps and wings. All great, especially the lettuce wraps highly recommend. I will be back here for sure as the person who took my order was on top of it when refilling my Coke Zero, didn't have to ask. Well deserved tip.

I went to Eureka! for the first time the other night with one mission: a sweet treat with family. The vibe was very chill for a Monday night. Just a few people at the bar watching the game and the restaurant has a cozy feel with the low lighting and warm wood interior. I could see out to the outdoor fireplace and kept thinking that would be such a cute date vibe. Just drinks by the fire where it's quiet enough to actually hear each other talk. I thought it was interesting that the waitress brought out a kids snack plate with carrots and oranges. I've never seen that before. Our server, Malia, was nice and attentive overall. For dessert we ordered the Bourbon Barrel Cake and the Turtle Pie à la mode. The Barrel Cake wasn't too sweet and the flavor was good, but the texture was a little grainy. The turtle pie was very sweet, but my son loved it so clearly it did its job. Overall it was a good little dessert stop. Next time I might come back and actually try the food.

Great food and drinks. Stopped in for new $13 lunch specials. Also joined the loyalty club and got $2 off a seasonal beer. Service was fast, food delicious.

Tried this place out in the City of Cerritos CA. Place is modern and somewhat fancy. The ambiance was warm with great décor. We made our order for a Party of 6. Mostly hamburgers and salads. The food was good, but the price doesn't match up with the burger. The burger I ordered was $21 plus, comes with small fries and optional to upgrade for sweet potato fries, onion rings etc for an additional $3 more. The burger was small as well as the fries. I felt cheated paying for this type of meal. The service could of been a better. Our waitress would come and go, disappearing 15-20 mins at a time. Our total stay was close to 2hrs. Overall, it's an okay place for drinks but not so much for the food. They need to work on their service. Maybe I will give it another try in the future. This experience was just Meh.

Seared Salmon: Seasoned to perfection, tender, and just downright delicious! Potato Fingerlings: Beyond delicious and I highly recommend! Every single bite was full of flavor! These potatoes are something special! Green Beans: Charred perfection, and really tasty! They definitely know how to make green beans extra tasty! Surprise: Wow! It also happened to be Trivia/Game Night! You simply scan the card at your table to participate, so cool! Really cool crowd here as well! Plus, the restaurant is surrounded by a number of other restaurants and stores to go shopping, including plenty of free parking shared by all! Strawberry Lychee Martini: The moment I saw lychee, knew I had to try it & glad I did! Decor: Lots beautiful greenery & wooden surroundings! Customer Service: Friendly, attentive & helpful with the menu! Overall: Yes, please! Plus, the name Eureka! is super cute! I enjoyed every single bite of my meal and I will happily return!

If you are looking for a good selection of beers, try this place. IPAs are pretty good. Place isn't crowded even on a weekend. They have an enclosed patio with heater and fire pit.

Do you have vegan option? Thanks!

    Yes

Is your patio open to host events?

I think in the past my friend tried to have her wedding rehearsal dinner here but this was during the pandemic, and there was a limit on how many ppl it would be, so it didn't work out. I'm hoping someone from the restaurant gets back to you on this…

Do you take reservations for patio seating?

Was always told patio was first come, first served no reservations. Imagine my surprise when I walked in to try to snag the fireplace, only to be told that the seats were being held for reservations. Please clarify for future reference.

Is the patio area dog friendly?

Yes! Our patio is dog friendly.

Do you have any happy hour specials for take out or delivery?

We do not have happy hour specials but we do have good deals on our wild child, industry margarita and Beer bags if you order on our website. Thank you!

Are guests able to dine-in? I know there's an outdoor patio with seating at this location.

At this moment our patio is open for you to enjoy your takeout food.

Do u have happy hour on the weekends?

We do! We offer our hoppy hour 7 days a week. 2-6pm and 9-close.

Could we change the French fries to something else?

They all can:). Or we can make it “naked”, which is the burger/sandwich on top of a bed of arugula topped with a lemon vinaigrette drizzle.

Do u have anything for birthdays?

They gave my friend a choice of dessert. Large parties are welcome here too.

I see that you don't take reservations. Is there usually a wait on Sunday around 11am?

Every time we have come there has never been a wait.

Do you guys happy hours on sat?

Hi there. We offer our hoppy hour 7 days a week. It is from 2:00-6:00 pm and then from 9:00-closing.

Do you guys have happy hour on friday's?

Absolutely, come early to get a good spot.

Helllo, I'm looking for a restaurant to invite my friends over for my birthday dinner . Do you make reservations for a group of 30 adults?

Good evening Omar. Thank you very much for considering us to host your birthday dinner! We do take reservations and can host a party of 30 depending on day and time. Please give me a call at the restaurant to discuss further.…

It was extremely affordable, considering how many people we had. Including all of the food,.. two whole chickens as well as two pizzas along with salads and breadsticks and brisket as well as ribs and some other stuff and drinks we paid under $400 for everyone. When I tell you by the time we got to the outside patio to sit down the gentleman at the front was all ready bringing out the appetizers. He was so kind and friendly. Though National Pulled Pork Day isn't until October 12, Stonefire Grill is celebrating it a little…read moreearly by offering their pulled pork sandwiches for half off. Or better yet, they brought back July's 25th anniversary special, though the price for this year is a little higher than last year, but still not a bad deal. And just like last year, rewards members could get the pulled pork sandwich for half off once per day from Friday to Sunday of that weekend. I went on Saturday at about 11:30 AM, and there wasn't a long line to order, but Juan was the only employee ringing up customers at the register. It took several minutes since the customers in front needed plenty of time to place their orders. During my wait, I saw the menu had a section for Wood Fired Grill, where Pulled Pork was an option for a personal meal. Actually, they had two options for the pulled pork: a 6 oz serving for $15 and a 10 oz serving for $20. However, neither option would qualify for the half off as there is already an option for pulled pork sandwich under the Burgers, Sandwiches & Tenders section of the menu. Based on the price tag, I'm guessing that sandwich is equivalent to the 6 oz serving, but the personal meal would also include two breadsticks on top of a side. The sandwich that is half off would only come with one side. With the exception of Stonefire's Beans, all of their sides are vegetarian. Wait, beans aren't vegetarian? Not here! When I asked Juan to remind me what Stonefire's Beans were, he mentioned there was tri-tip inside, and I was immediately sold! It's also their most expensive side, at least for personal size, so unless you're vegetarian, I would highly recommend selecting Stonefire's Beans as your side. I also did ask Juan about the Cornbread Casserole since I didn't recall seeing that on a prior visit. He said that they honestly should have removed the word "casserole" as it's pretty much just cornbread, but with serrano and some other ingredient that I can't quite remember what it was. Could be worth trying in the near future, but I really wanted the Stonefire's Beans now that I know it contains tri-tip! I also asked for a water cup to finish off my meal. I sat at the table closest to the rear for easy access to the BBQ sauce dispenser as well as the water. Well, almost. When I tried to get water, the beverage dispenser starting rumbling as if to make me think it was going to explode any second! I ended up getting Vitaminwater in my cup instead. And I also made sure to get not one, but two cups of BBQ sauce for my sandwich and beans. There was an employee who was on break sitting directly across from me, but he should have been in the break area instead, which is just a little further to the back. On top of that, I had to hear him watch a soccer game on his phone during the 7-minute wait for my order. After dropping my order off in front of me, the employee asked if he could get anything else. I didn't see any utensils on the tray, so I asked if there were utensils. He spoke so fast, but was looking in the direction of the counter I was just at minutes ago getting BBQ sauce. Turns out the utensils were on the other side of that counter, and I should have gotten them first, though without a plate at the time, they really expected me to set the utensils directly on the table? Anyways, I did like the presentation of the Pulled Pork Sandwich as it seemed like a mountain of slow-cooked goodness waiting to be devoured! The Stonefire's Beans were a pretty good portion size too, like a $10 serving of soup at any other eatery. Knowing that the Pulled Pork Sandwich could use some BBQ sauce from the getgo, I poured the sauce in the sandwich, which immediately boosted the flavor profile by quite a wide margin! The cole slaw, unfortunately, was not an asset to the sandwich as it fell flat in taste and didn't supplement the pulled pork or the BBQ sauce very well. But the Stonefire's Beans? Oh yes, remember when I said I'd recommend choosing that as your side, assuming you are not vegetarian? Knowing that there was tri-tip in the beans really made the beans that much better than those from, say, a Tex-Mex spot. They could have used more flavor, so I added some more BBQ sauce to the beans. Mmmmmmm...BBQ Baked Beans with some tri-tip! Oh yes, I'm sure Homer Simpson's mouth would be salivating if he were reading this review lol. Unfortunately, the pickle slices were placed directly on the tray as opposed to the paper that was supposed to cover the tray. Why don't they just use a small cup for the pickle slices instead? Juan seemed like a pretty cool employee, even making sure that the half off reward was on my account and that it applied to my order before requesting payment. Overall, I'm still giving 3 stars for this experience, but there's some improvement I can see from my last visit; there's just not enough for me to give 4 as there were several shortcomings that I really needed to put out there in this review.

Revisit? Definitely. Great for weekend breakfast…read more Sunrise Cafe never disappoints. It's just what a casual diner should be: delicious, generous with the portions, and efficient. I usually order the Popeye Omelet with home fries and toast. Everything is seasoned well and the ingredients taste fresh. Other things I've tried include the Chilaquiles, French Dip, Kids Scrambled Egg Breakfast with French Toast, and Posole. Everything is classic and reliably good. The vibes here are just 10/10 for a family breakfast. Our toddler likes watching the model train that circles the upper windows of the restaurant. It's busy so there's lots of pleasant background noise. You can watch the traffic go by on Lakewood Blvd. Prices aren't too steep. I've ordered takeout and delivery from here as well and never had any complaints. Parking can be hard to find in the lot right next to the restaurant but can usually be found right away in the back lot. Overall, just a nice neighborhood spot to eat.

Inside, the place is clean but definitely could use some updates - 6/10. Staff were very nice and friendly, though I wish coffee refills were automatic - 7/10. The food reminds me of home cooking. I really enjoyed their Mexican dishes but preferred the breakfast menu overall. The hobo omelet and breakfast potatoes had great flavor. However, the biscuits and gravy were disappointing, tasting like store-bought biscuits and canned gravy--probably from Costco or Sam's Club. Coffee was very good, but I wish someone would walk around constantly refilling cups. Overall, a decent spot with some room for improvement.

A True Hidden Gem in Bellflower! I woke up late today after…read morea week of riding every rollercoaster in Southern California (I'm on vacation anyways ), and I didn't want to deal with a long wait for brunch or settle for a typical corporate diner. I just wanted a place that hit the right spot... then I ran into Aragón House Cafe. Nestled away on the streets of Bellflower, this place is the kind of local treasure you can't help but fall in love with. From the moment you sit down and open the menu, deciding what to get becomes a delightful challenge. As the servers pass by with dishes for neighboring tables, every plate looks and smells so incredible that you'll want to order one of everything. Once you make your choice, the food comes out surprisingly fast--piping hot, bursting with flavor, and smelling so good you just want to devour it right on the spot. Having been open for just a year and a half, Aragón House Cafe is already a standout. It has all the makings of one of those hidden LA gems you eventually see highlighted on local food documentaries--or promoted all over social media by influencers (which I'm not, nor do I want to be!). Don't sleep on this place; give it a try before everyone else finds out!
