    Coffee pancake

This restaurant surprised us. We didn't expect the food to be so delicious. In addition, the portions were huge! We got the Mexicali omelette and pancakes to share for two people and we could not finish. The Mexicali omelette had chorizo, garlic, mushroom, red onions, mozzarella cheese, jalapeños, ranchero sauce, and avocado. The ranchero sauce made a huge difference because it felt like we were eating a keto (low carb) wet burrito, using eggs as the tortilla, except it tasted way better than a wet burrito. It was very fluffy and delicious with a nice cheese pull. The omelette was humongous and can feed two hungry people. The pancakes were equally huge and should be shared. Each order came with two pancakes but they were kind enough to let us select two different flavors. We got one matcha pancake and one coffee pancake. Both had matcha/coffee sauce, whipped cream, powdered sugar, and fresh fruits on top. We thought they were yummy but the coffee was our favorite because of the pronounced coffee taste. However, if you love matcha, you would love the matcha pancake too. Highly recommended trying the Mexicali omelette and coffee pancake if you love coffee. They were so amazing. Would definitely come back.

My friend was visiting from norcal and this was near where she was staying so we decided to try it out! The parking lot was a bit sketchy but that's how you know the food is gonna hit. There was only one guy who was taking orders and helping seat guests so it was a bit frustrating at times because he would forget to help us and help other parties even though we were waiting for much longer for things. Definitely not on him but they should be more staff to help him out. It's a pretty small restaurant and homey vibes. For food, I tried the chilaquiles with chorizo. It came with two eggs and avocados as well. They were delicious and crispy, and they were not shy about toppings! It was such a HUGE portion and I was only able to eat about half of it before it got soggy. I also tried the matcha pancakes which were a favorite! They were fluffy and the cream was sweet and flavorful. The berries on top were also really fresh and delicious. I don't think I'd go out of my way to try this again, but would go if I was in the area.

Aragon House Cafe is a hidden gem in the city of Bellflower. Located in an inconspicuous area on the corner of Clark Ave and Rose St. It would be easy to drive by and not even notice it. The place is small, and a little crowded but so worth it. The service is excellent, although slow. I'm guessing the kitchen is small. The chilaquiles are the best I've ever had. I believe the chorizo is made in house because it's A.MA.ZING.

Fire food and service! Our server was so sweet, she was running the tables all by herself and kept a smile on her face! I went on Sunday thinking it would be crazy packed but luckily we had arrived right before the lunch rush. There are only about 5-6 tables (I can't remember) so it's not the biggest place. They also have a parking lot right behind and it was fairly easy to park. The food was amazing and fresh, and very filling! I had leftovers that were still incredibly tasty. I can't wait to come back and bring more people to try this place.

I was really excited to try Aragon House Cafe and honestly I'm glad to see more trendy brunch spots popping up in Bellflower. The cafe itself has a nice atmosphere and the staff was friendly, so I definitely wanted to like it more than I did. Unfortunately, the food was pretty lackluster for the price and the hype. Nothing tasted terrible, but nothing really stood out either. What really threw us off was when my friend's omelette came out with what looked like a Kraft Singles slice melted on top. At a cafe trying to have a more elevated brunch vibe, that just felt cheap and disappointing. Overall, I still appreciate having places like this in the area and maybe we just caught them on an off day, but the food quality didn't really match the experience we were hoping for.

What a hidden gem. Outside it looks like an older hamburger stand. Once you step inside you'll see the decor and how clean this place is. The facilities are all clean and the restaurant itself has modern decor. Six tables that seat 4. They will slide them all together to accomplish more seating. The food was excellent! I had the Mexicali omelette, pictured here. Large portion came with my choice of hashbrowns, fruit, or salad. We also ordered the huevos rancheros, also pictured, Marisol accommodated us with green sauce instead of red. All the food was delicious. Marisol was our server. She was on top of everything suggested we try the red sauce on the huevos rancheros. She brought us a little container of the red and a little container of the green to sample. That was super nice and above and beyond what most restaurants do. We were not rushed or forced into anything we didn't want. They made adjustments as requested. Their menu is quite extensive, you can take a look on other reviews here and see pictures of the menu. I was torn between so many choices, but happy with the ones I picked. This is a definite do again, especially to try some of the other entrées that I feel like I missed out on! Thank you to Marisol, all the chefs at Aragon House Café! I will be back.

The cafe itself is on a corner street and I can see it filling up fast during rush hours. It's fairly small but they have an outside ordering window or dine-in service! The server was very nice, but the place can get hot fast. We would wait to get water refills often since it was hot the day we visited. The food was phenomenal! Everything is hearty and satisfying. The chipotle tuna wrap is SO GOOD. I will definitely be getting it the next time I come back with a side of hashbrowns. The sweet potatoes fries were on the softer side but had a few crispy bits. My husband got the Oreo pancakes and it was perfect. It is definitely on the sweeter side for all the pancakes but they're very filling and enjoyable for people with sweet teeth. Can't wait to come back!

MATCHA WAFFLES: wish it came with more than one tiny syrup. Was good though! I'd say dine-in for this one to keep the waffle crispy!

**DOORDASH ORDER ONLY** SERVICE (4/5): Was pretty quick! Someone forgot the coffee, either the restaurant or the door-dasher, we'll never know. Sad day without caffeine. FOOD (4/5): MATCHA WAFFLES: These were still slightly crispy when they arrived, I wish all the sauce/toppings came on the side as to (maybe) preserve crispiness, but that's the risk you take when you order Togo. No real way to keep it fresh! Which isn't the restaurants fault. But I do wish they gave more than one tiny container of syrup. It only covered half my waffle. Good flavor, but would only order these for dine-in next time. EGG WHITE VEGETABLE OMELETTE: this was delicious! Tried to off set my waffle calories with a healthier option. Asked for a side of spicy salsa and it was PERFECT! CAFE DE OLLA COFFEE: unfortunately did not arrive so I cannot review. Next time! OVERALL (4/5): Would definitely try more dishes here, but dine-in next time to preserve the freshness of their dishes.

The food was good. Drinks were good. Service could've been better. Our server seemed pretty occupied with whatever was going on in the back. The hash browns were unique. I would've liked them to be a little more crispier. It was empty when I went so I guess I beat the crowd. I'd come back if I'm hungry and in the neighborhood. I liked that it was quiet.

    Oreo Pancakes!

We were very hesitant to come inside based on the exterior and the empty parking lot. But we did and was it a great decision! We had Chilaquiles, an omelette, pancakes, and burgers. Everything was absolutely delicious and the portions are quite large. My favorite was a café de olla, which is so good!! Highly recommend to support this local establishment!!

Was looking to have breakfast/brunch somewhere near Lakewood and this place popped up with great reviews. So bf and I decided to check it out. Aragon House Cafe is located on the corner of Clark Ave and Rose St, across the street from the liquor store. It's a small location and can be easy to miss. They have a small lot behind them of about 3-6 spots so you may need to grab street parking. Walking up to the cafe, they have an open window for to-go orders and the front door right next to it. As I mentioned, it's small; with about 6-8 tables. We decided to go on a Sunday around 10:15am (they have Yelp Reservations but it was empty at the time we arrived). There is a single use gender neutral restroom near the back as well. Marisol, helped us as well as the rest of the tables. The space began to fill which I told her is always a good sign. We started off with two cafe de olla, which if you aren't familiar is Mexican coffee and if available get over plain black coffee. It was the right amount of sweetness and fresh. For food, we wanted something sweet and an egg dish and we couldn't decide. I mentioned all the pancake flavors looked good and Marisol said that they were able to do different flavors instead of one flavor for a stack so we decided with the Matcha and Coffee pancake. For our savory dish we went with their Chilaquiles and added chicken. The pancakes were delicious. They had height to them and weren't dense, but a nice fluffiness. Both served with fresh whipped cream, and one with a matcha sauce, the other a coffee saucse, and berries. The matcha pancake was light and had a mild matcha flavor, we added a little syrup to it but it was so good. My favorite was the coffee pancake; it had pronounced coffee flavor throughout, and the sauce made it even better, no syrup needed. The Chilauiles were delicious as well, we got our eggs scrambled so our was topped with it. The chips were tossed in a spicy red sauce but had their crispiness intact, chicken was cubed and not dry, the eggs were scrambled just right as well. We polished that plate. The food here was amazing, and Marisol was a delight in serving us. Check this out if you're ever in the Bellflower area. The food items we got were amazing, but I imagine, as Marisol mentioned to us, all of their food items are good. Will def be back!

were chef's kiss but let me specifically talk about the whipped cream because WHY was it that good?? I'm convinced somebody's grandma is back there making it fresh with love because I was out here rationing every bite And our server?? Elite. This man kept refilling my coffee before I could even process that my cup was empty lol. I swear he had a sixth sense for caffeine emergencies Food came out hot, portions were good, vibes were cozy, and the bathroom was CLEANNNN. And y'all already know a clean bathroom says everything about a restaurant Honestly one of those brunch spots where you leave full, happy, and already planning what you're ordering next time. 10/10.

    Meat Lover Burrito

Service was great, and the food came out super fast. To be fair, I went on a Monday afternoon, so it wasn't very busy. The food was honestly really good. I'll admit, whenever I see a place with a ton of great reviews, I try not to get my hopes up because I've been disappointed plenty of times. This place actually lived up to the hype. I ordered the Meat Lovers burrito, and it came out hot, cheesy, packed with meat, and perfectly crispy. The biggest surprise was the salsa. I'm usually disappointed with restaurant salsa because it ends up tasting like plain tomato sauce with zero flavor and no heat. This one wasn't super spicy, which I totally understand since everyone has a different spice tolerance, but it actually had flavor! The burrito was already great, and the salsa just took it to another level. I was also really surprised by the strawberry lemonade. I was expecting one of those generic dispenser drinks, but it tasted homemade. It even had chunks of strawberry at the bottom, which was a nice surprise. If they have other lemonade flavors or seasonal options, I'd definitely be coming back to try those too. This was my first time here, and after this experience, I'm looking forward to trying more of the menu. Definitely coming back. One thing to keep in mind: it looks like the card terminal doesn't give you an option to leave a tip, so if you plan on tipping the staff, bring some cash.

No need to go to LA to try those over hyped dessert places. One Twelve Cafe does it just as good, if not better and they have many more tasty options to choose from.
