Horchata Chocolate Pancake French Toast Steak w/ potatoes & eggs

The food was great! My fiancé loved the horchata and the steak breakfast plate. The french toast was great it had a unique homemade taste it was so good. The chocolate pancake was okay it came with chocolate chips and some type of crunch i wasn't a fan of the crunch other than that it was good!

I love The Pan. Since its cozy hipster-vibes start in Gardena, they have now expanded to several locations. Menu has always been changing, keeping up with the trends while still offering plenty of delish fusion dishes. This was my first time here at this location having been to Gardena and LB, it was nice clean still giving Hipster. Servers were nice, food was yummy. We came in on a weekend and tried several doff items. I had my target set in their Short Rib Benedict. It was a disgustingly-delicious as the social media posts made it seem. They do have a lunch menu, but if its your first time I would come in for breakfast. The guava pancakes were amaze-balls, french toast was also good. If you do come for lunch, i ld suggest their deep dish pizzas. I assume this location also has them on their menu.

Been coming here several times since it opened and not once has it disappointed. I highly recommend being an early bird because it can get packed quick. The food is always on point and the coffee is delicious. My son always finishes everything on his kids order. The ambiance is very family like, what are you waiting for if you haven't done so already try them out!

I'm giving it a 4 star because of the wait time Definitely need to have patience here and wait. Finally we're sat down and the review change when we receive our meal. The plates are big portion worth the price. The chile verde was amazing and taste really good. I recommend if you really hungry and can't wait not your spot.

We were out in area on business and stopped in here for breakfast. First thing we noticed was parking is a problem. Other than that we got in and place is decorated very nice. We got chilaquiles, biscuits and gravy, cinnamon pancakes. The salsa on chilaquiles was great flavor not spicy. Chips were nice and beans were good too. The biscuits my son said they were fire! lol. Pancake was great too. Service was good. Definitely worth trying but it is a bit in the pricy side.

Great place to have breakfast/brunch with family or friends. It's very spacious with lots of seating and loud music so you can really get into the chisme and food. The workers were nice and attentive and I was surprised it wasn't hectic on a Sunday. I really enjoyed the chilaquiles and pancakes the most. The matcha was pretty good too, we had the strawberry matcha latte and a matcha latte. The potatoes were not my favorite a little salty and I like my breakfast potatoes more simple without the adds on will try to ask they remove the other things next time. Overall really enjoyed the space and food so I will be back.

Supe welcoming and friendly staff. The eating area is nice and open. Everything was so tasty and very well seasoned. I didn't know how to order the Matcha drink but it was good regardless. Definitely recommend for a nice breakfast: the place got so full a few minutes after we arrived. Will be returning for sure.

Ok so I've been to this location once b4 when they 1st opened but today was terrible I don't think I've ever had such bad service from all the locations they have they took our order and it took them 45 min to bring the food and only brought out half the order it took them a extra 10 min to bring out the rest of the order and good it wrong . We asked for salsa and the waitress forgot so I had to get up and go get some myself to the kitchen by then my food was cold and soggy the food was also cooked different from the other locations . This location is terrible from service to quality of food definitely won't ever be coming bask. I complained to our waitress and she apologized and said that they had a a big catering order. That was the reason that they were so backed up maybe they shouldn't do catering if they can't take care of the customers they have in front of them. I don't think anyone should wait that long and get the type of service we had today everyone in the restaurant was complaining not just me. .

Veggie Omelet with Bacon, Sourdough toast and Fruit

I believe I found my new Favorite Breakfast. Today, I ordered the Veggie Omelet and added Bacon. I also ordered fruit instead of potatoes. It was Beyond delicious!!!

Service great, servers super friendly, cozy small restaurant with a nice sized banquet room in back. Food never disappoints. I've tried the shrimp n grits before and they're just as good as other location. I prefer this location as it's smaller and quieter, more cozy. This time had a kielbasa scramble. It was good, but potatoes did need a bit more seasoning, nothing a bit of extra salt & pepper couldn't fix. Also added guava pancake instead of toast and although the guava sauce is definitely sweet, overall it balances well with the pancake making it perfect combination of flavors (since pancake isn't sweet). If you like guava this will not disappoint, definitely guava approved! Perfect visit, as always. Always take advantage of coming here to eat while my dog is getting groomed next door :)

Service: 4 - The overall service was really good. The server was really informative about the menu items and had great suggestions on drinks. Food: 3 - The food was underwhelming. The flavor was too sweet which overpowered the rest of the flavors. The reason is because it sits on a pancake style bun instead of a biscuit. Also , the dish arrived warm, not hot. The pancakes were the best dish. Ambience: 3 - place is really nice inside just a bit small.

I have never seen this before which I didn't really like because I didn't see anything about a gratuity percentage for parties larger than 4 or 6. We still paid the bill in full including the tip but we still left unsure of it. Update: I was contacted by the owner and after the issue with the waiter adding his own tip, I was refunded that money back. Thank you for correcting this and hopefully it does not happen to others. We will definitely come again.

We got YUMMY drinks , kinda reminiscent of Aguas frescas ! I recommend the cucumber lemonade!! Then we ordered our food also pictured! The French toast I got well done and it was so yummy like a hint of vanilla or something! The omelette was yummy fresh and perfect! Thanks to the chefs !! ** they have a large bar with tvs and drink specials (I saw all the fifa specials) - they also have outside seating and I can totally see them getting packed during games ** Thank you to everybody who brought our food and welcomed us in. Once we were ready she had our table already prepared. We have to order inside first before you can be seated. Once seated our food came out not too long after. Everything looked and tasted delicious! We ordered the chilaquiles verde, short rib omelette, tropical pancakes (seasonal), and the mango curd french toast (seasonal). The chilaquiles verde was savory and tangy. It wasn't soggy at all and definitely one of my favorite dishes. The short rib omelette was savory but didn't give me any wow factor compared to the other dishes I ordered. The tropical pancakes were so pretty. I only tried a piece of it without the syrup which I think was a mistake because the kumquat syrup was my friend's favorite. I definitely need to try it again with the syrup. Best for last, mango curd French toast was my favorite! I fell in love with sweetness and tanginess of the mango curd. The French toast was soft and you can taste the butter. I wish it was a main menu item. I'll definitely be sad to see it go. They have lots of seating inside and outside.

I was curious about the level of accessibility and clearer directions on where to stand when the line passes the framing of the restaurant. But Great Downey location! Diversity score 1-5: 1.5 As a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the workplace professional, in order to garner financial success of any business is to be intentional about representation in your business. Please contact me for consultation services. Service/Ambiance/Environment: The service is where my issue lies. I did appreciate that as we were waiting in line to enter, we were given menus to assist in deciding what we wanted before we reached the inside. The cashiers were both super nice and even offered a taste of the Rose' slushy which was phenomenal. When ordering at the register, the sweet service was continued and we chose where to sit. It was bright and busy inside and we sat right in front of the expo station. I was truly enjoying the environment and it had me reminiscing of my brunch days in New York City. My guest and I were chatting and enjoying our Mimosa's and then my guests food arrives first. Not that it matters but in service certain things do and the female presenting person SHOULD always receive their food first. That was a surprise to me but I didn't read into as I expected my dish to arrive right behind. It did not. My guest and I continued to chat and sip until 20 mins later, as I'm watching dishes leave the expo station, did I say "where is my food?" The young server at the expo turned and rolled their eyes and then finally gave me my food. This was a buzz kill. I only went down a rabbit hole about it until I noticed I was the only Black person present. First, why would it ever been ok to not have dishes arriving to tables separately without saying "ma'am we're a little behind.." or to my guest "do you mind if we hold your dish a bit so we can make sure the food arrives together?" Being a previous server in high pace restaurants, communication, apologies, and ensuring perfect service is the goal. Poached is not a store front or even a little diner type of place. It's a casual, upbeat, bright breakfast/brunch spot. And yes, on busy days things happen but to not offer a reason, or apology, and giving the customer attitude is unacceptable. Food: The description of the food is well written. The prices are reasonable. I ordered the short rib omelette with whole grain toast and house potatoes. When I Finally received my food it looked great and I was eager to dig in. A first bite of the omelette I was sadly underwhelmed. The seasoning left much to be desired and it seamed to be more of a birria short rib flavor and I thought I chose the dish based on being excited about the combination of meat and cheese (which was barely there). I enjoyed the bread and potatoes more than the omelette. Go again score 1-5: 2 I really think this restaurant and it's operation needs some massaging, the cooks need to be trained, and a REAL chef needs to help improve the quality and taste of the food.
