Short Rib Benedict

I love The Pan. Since its cozy hipster-vibes start in Gardena, they have now expanded to several locations. Menu has always been changing, keeping up with the trends while still offering plenty of delish fusion dishes. This was my first time here at this location having been to Gardena and LB, it was nice clean still giving Hipster. Servers were nice, food was yummy. We came in on a weekend and tried several doff items. I had my target set in their Short Rib Benedict. It was a disgustingly-delicious as the social media posts made it seem. They do have a lunch menu, but if its your first time I would come in for breakfast. The guava pancakes were amaze-balls, french toast was also good. If you do come for lunch, i ld suggest their deep dish pizzas. I assume this location also has them on their menu.

I'm giving it a 4 star because of the wait time Definitely need to have patience here and wait. Finally we're sat down and the review change when we receive our meal. The plates are big portion worth the price. The chile verde was amazing and taste really good. I recommend if you really hungry and can't wait not your spot.

Been coming here several times since it opened and not once has it disappointed. I highly recommend being an early bird because it can get packed quick. The food is always on point and the coffee is delicious. My son always finishes everything on his kids order. The ambiance is very family like, what are you waiting for if you haven't done so already try them out!

Chilaquiles biscuits and gravy

We were out in area on business and stopped in here for breakfast. First thing we noticed was parking is a problem. Other than that we got in and place is decorated very nice. We got chilaquiles, biscuits and gravy, cinnamon pancakes. The salsa on chilaquiles was great flavor not spicy. Chips were nice and beans were good too. The biscuits my son said they were fire! lol. Pancake was great too. Service was good. Definitely worth trying but it is a bit in the pricy side.

I really wanted to like this place but my order was all wrong. Placed an order for a breakfast burrito with NO bacon or sausage (i asked if they could customize and they said yes) cashier noted ALL sausage so then i return and let them know i had asked for no meat at all and they were nice enough to change it however they took less thank 5 mins to give it back and burrito fell apart as soon as i started eating it was very oily AND THEY STILL ADDED SAUSAGE (small pieces here and there)

Supe welcoming and friendly staff. The eating area is nice and open. Everything was so tasty and very well seasoned. I didn't know how to order the Matcha drink but it was good regardless. Definitely recommend for a nice breakfast: the place got so full a few minutes after we arrived. Will be returning for sure.

Great place to have breakfast/brunch with family or friends. It's very spacious with lots of seating and loud music so you can really get into the chisme and food. The workers were nice and attentive and I was surprised it wasn't hectic on a Sunday. I really enjoyed the chilaquiles and pancakes the most. The matcha was pretty good too, we had the strawberry matcha latte and a matcha latte. The potatoes were not my favorite a little salty and I like my breakfast potatoes more simple without the adds on will try to ask they remove the other things next time. Overall really enjoyed the space and food so I will be back.

Ok so I've been to this location once b4 when they 1st opened but today was terrible I don't think I've ever had such bad service from all the locations they have they took our order and it took them 45 min to bring the food and only brought out half the order it took them a extra 10 min to bring out the rest of the order and good it wrong . We asked for salsa and the waitress forgot so I had to get up and go get some myself to the kitchen by then my food was cold and soggy the food was also cooked different from the other locations . This location is terrible from service to quality of food definitely won't ever be coming bask. I complained to our waitress and she apologized and said that they had a a big catering order. That was the reason that they were so backed up maybe they shouldn't do catering if they can't take care of the customers they have in front of them. I don't think anyone should wait that long and get the type of service we had today everyone in the restaurant was complaining not just me. .

The service was excellent! We enjoyed the ambiance at The Pan very much. Their cocktails were delicious! Would definitely be back for more!

Food was amazing. Matcha was mid. Service was great. The vibe was nice, light chatter. Recommend the pancakes.

Service great, servers super friendly, cozy small restaurant with a nice sized banquet room in back. Food never disappoints. I've tried the shrimp n grits before and they're just as good as other location. I prefer this location as it's smaller and quieter, more cozy. This time had a kielbasa scramble. It was good, but potatoes did need a bit more seasoning, nothing a bit of extra salt & pepper couldn't fix. Also added guava pancake instead of toast and although the guava sauce is definitely sweet, overall it balances well with the pancake making it perfect combination of flavors (since pancake isn't sweet). If you like guava this will not disappoint, definitely guava approved! Perfect visit, as always. Always take advantage of coming here to eat while my dog is getting groomed next door :)

Food is decent, decaf coffee is weak and needs more flavor. Probably will try again once the hype dies down.

When we first got there, they were plenty of empty tables and it took quite a while to be seated , but by the time we were served our food, the place was packed Four of us ordered Chilaquiles four different ways as far as how we wanted, our eggs, cooked and meat or no meat, red or green... and only one of the orders came out correctly. We asked for waters all around and they never brought them to us until I had to remind them 25 minutes into being seated. The food is mediocre, but the presentation is very nice .. if you don't mind bland soggy Chilaquiles then this is your place! Waiter was a little bit arrogant .. the place is run by youngsters so it wasn't shocking that the service wasn't great, when they brought our extremely hot lattes to us, they held it over my two-year-old granddaughter's head, which would have been a scalding nightmare had he dropped it on her. We won't be back

Once we were ready she had our table already prepared. We have to order inside first before you can be seated. Once seated our food came out not too long after. Everything looked and tasted delicious! We ordered the chilaquiles verde, short rib omelette, tropical pancakes (seasonal), and the mango curd french toast (seasonal). The chilaquiles verde was savory and tangy. It wasn't soggy at all and definitely one of my favorite dishes. The short rib omelette was savory but didn't give me any wow factor compared to the other dishes I ordered. The tropical pancakes were so pretty. I only tried a piece of it without the syrup which I think was a mistake because the kumquat syrup was my friend's favorite. I definitely need to try it again with the syrup. Best for last, mango curd French toast was my favorite! I fell in love with sweetness and tanginess of the mango curd. The French toast was soft and you can taste the butter. I wish it was a main menu item. I'll definitely be sad to see it go. They have lots of seating inside and outside.

Poached Neighborhood Kitchen presents itself as the kind of elevated brunch destination that…read morepromises thoughtful execution and a polished dining experience. Unfortunately, the reality falls noticeably short of that expectation. While the food itself is serviceable, it never rises beyond what you might expect from a standard at-home breakfast spread. Nothing on the table felt particularly memorable, inventive, or worth returning for. The biggest disappointment came in the details, but really lack thereof. The fruit served alongside the meal had the unmistakable appearance and texture of pre-packaged, bulk-distributed produce, lacking the freshness and vibrancy you would hope for from a restaurant positioning itself as a neighborhood kitchen. It gave more cafeteria than curated brunch. Service also struggled to meet even basic hospitality standards. Water refills required repeated attempts to get someone's attention, and neighboring tables were similarly left flagging down staff for utensils and tableware. Once the order was placed and food delivered, attentiveness seemed to disappear almost entirely. I'm not sure where the standard is set.. Given the location and atmosphere, there's an expectation of a more refined and welcoming experience, but the execution never quite supports the price point or reputation. If you do visit, avoid outdoor seating unless you're prepared for an even more disconnected service experience. Ultimately, there are far better places to spend your brunch budget. Especially when this is the kind of meal many could comfortably recreate at home with fresher ingredients and more care. If you're going to have competitive price points for these meals they should at least match.
